Listing data from ECC to legacy system??

Hello Experts,
This is my first post and hopefully in the correct forum:
We have a requirement of sending listing data (whether articles is listed or delisted) from ECC to a legacy system. We have analyzed the option os using LIKOND01, Assortment 01or WBBDLD03. We opted for LIKOND01 since it is lighter as compared to WBBDLD03. We tried to find the documents related to both of these IDocs in  help.sap etc, but could not find any information accept the header and detail records. We just wanted to know how we can trigger this LIKOND01 IDoc and whether our approach will satisfy our needs.
Any information in this regard will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!!

Hello Venu,
Thanks for your reply.
LIKOND01.
We will activate the necessary change pointers and other configurations.
What we want to know that once the change pointers are activated the LIOKOND01 IDoc will be created as soon as the listing is done in ECC and entry created in WLK1 or we have to use some t-code. Can this be done?
WBBDLD03
We also tried to create the WBBDLD IDoc after creating a listing in ECC using transaction WDBU or WDBM, but could not.
Please provide your input. I have also checked BD50 (whether it is Active) and BD52 also.
Also i tried Automatic creation of Idoc of basic type WBBDLD, however i checked the FM MASTERIDOC_CREATE_WBBDLD, and when excecuting RBDMIDOC program with the messg type WBBDLD, i am getting a ABAP DUMP.
Thanks in advance!!

  • Creating a business partner using data from a remote legacy system

    Hi Experts,
I am trying to make an interface for creating a business partner in SAP CRM from customer data created in a remote legacy system. I want to map the fields in XI.
But to create a customer I need a RFC or a BAPI or maybe an IDoc, that includes all fields for business partner creation and can create a new business partner from the data.
I have identified an RFC that have the structure of the BDoc BUPA_MAIN. This RFC is called: CRM_BUPA_MAIN_CRM_IN
But I am not sure if that RFC can be used for Business Partner creation.
Can anyone tell me if that RFC can be used, or if there are other RFC's, BAPI's or IDoc's that can be used for remote creation of business partners (they have to include all fields of the Business Partner)??
There are a few BAPI's that include some of the fields for BP creation, but making several calls to different BAPIs from XI to CRM is not an option (I thought the BAPI: BAPI_BUPA_FS_CREATE_FROM_DATA could have been used, but it lacks some of the data fields needed for creating BPs).
    Thanks in advance,

  • Replication of Business Partner Data from ECC to legacy

    Hi,
My requirement is to replicate any changes made to Business Partner, should immediately get reflected in the legacy.
Which is the best method to follow.I am planning to use ABAP proxies instead of IDOCS.
As the replication needs to be immediate,Can I use ABAP Proxy.?
And for tigerring this proxy I need to enhance the code for Business Partner(BP) to call the proxy.
Is my approach correct or do I need to follow any other approach.
    Regards,
    Vinod Kumar.

    Hi,
The approach should be based on the kind of data you want to upload in SAP. if you want to upload some standard process documents like Sales order/ purchase order then it will be good to use IDOC. As we have Standard IDOCs available in SAP to upload such document in ECC. In case you want to track the change in data from BP which is not part of any standard process then in that case you can go for ABAP proxy.
If you are using ABAP proxy you dont need to call it from BP. From BP the changes will be sent to PI (in the form of File/database Query/JMS Queues ..etc ). Then PI will call inbound proxy from ECC and post the data.
Please let me know if you have any other Qs.
    Shweta.

  • Loading of data from ECC to BW initially takes time

    Hi,
I am loading data from ECC to BW System.
But I find that this process initially takes some time to start say for 15 minutes or so.
I have no clue as to why this is happening.
Could anyone help me out here.
    Regards,
    Sushanth Hulkod

No, I found that there were no BGD's available in SM50 Transaction.
But initially, the loading of data does not start for some time.
After that all the data is loaded at once.
I am uanble to understand this weird behaviour.

  • How to map service contract data from ecc to crm

    Hi Experts,
Please help me,how to map service contract data from ecc to crm system.
is there any perticular process.please let me know.
    thanks in advance..

    Hi Srinivasulu,
Create the service contract type of ECC and also item categories under it in ECC in CRM. Map the number ranges.
Check the Partners mapping from R/3 to CRM and that will be all.
I tried but in CRM in the transaction type internal number range is mandatory. So, if you create service contract in ECC with one number it will replicate to CRM but with different number. But you can see ECC number under the transaction history in CRM.
    Good Luck.

  • How to fetch the data from Ecc to BI ?

    Hi everybody.
Can anyone briefly explain with the screen shots > How to fetch the datasource from  RSA5 tcode in ECC to BI? How you replicate there? how the INFO PACKAGE , TRANSFORMATIONS, DTP , DSO, INFO CUBE was created? where we see the catalogs for this data.......THANKS IN ADVANCE

    Hi.
You can follow the below steps to fetch the data from ECC to BI System.
1>Connection should be there between ECC and BW System.
2>Go to Tcode-RSA5 in ECC system and find your data source and then activate it.
3> Go to Tcode-RSA6 in ECC system to check whether your DS is available..if it is there then its been activated.
4>Go to Extract Checker tcode RSA3 and test the data and make sure data is correct.
5>login to BW Side..go to tcode RSA1-->Choose your source system. ECC -> double click on it and you will move to Data source>Select your Application component ex, SD,FI ...>Right click and replicate the Datasouce> Now on refresh you can see the datasource in BI System.
6>Install the related the Infoprovider .. cube or dso ..Connect the datasouurce and create Transformation.
7> Now create infopackage and run it in ful & init mode then do the delta for the new records.
Please refer the below link for more details on extraction.

  • Goods Receipts data from ECC 6.0 to APO system

    Hello Team
Good day to you. Now i have the below requirement.
    1. From legacy system i am getting Goods Receipt data and i want to create GRs in ECC system. for this i found a relavent bapi (ie  BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE). please correct me if i am wrong.
    2. As soon as GRs gets create in ECC system, i want to push this data to APO system for udpates. -- > so for this requirement i want to know is there any user-exit/badi exists in which i can write a code to trigger the RFC function module which takes data from ECC system and updates into APO system or is there any other way to perform this task. please suggest me on this.
my Interface landscape is as below.
    Legacy system -
    > ECC system -
    > APO sytem
i want to push GR data from legacy system to APO sytem as mentioned in the above two steps. so requesting you to please suggest the solution accordingly.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Mario
Thank you very much for your detail explanation. But i think i have put a wrong question to you, i am so sorry for this. i am very new to this process. so i am putting my requirement and the options suggested below. so i request you to please check and suggest me accordingly. In Option 3 what is the BADI i need to use and what is the process to follow to complete my option 3 which is suggested. your suggestions will help me a lot.
    Thanks in advance very much.
My requirement is below with the options suggested are given below.
    Design Decision and Options
    Description
Describe the problem which requires a decision to be made.
In the current design for Phase 1 go live, goods receipts from production will be generated through interfaces I608 (when production is receipted in PRISM) and I622 (when production is receipted via OPUS). This will update the stock levels in the ECC system. As the Core Interface (CIF) between ECC and APO will be active, the stocks will also be updated in APO.
In APO, the production orders will not be reduced by the confirmed amounts until the PRISM to APO interface (I642) runs overnight. Until the production orders are reduced there will be double counting in APO leading to incorrect planning and GATP results.
    *Options(
List the options that have been considered as potential solutions
Option 1: Increase the frequency of the current PRISM to APO interface.
Option 2: Build additional Interface between PRISM & APO for production confirmations.
Option 3: Build enhancement to ECC GR to update APO production orders.
Option 1: Increase the frequency of the current PRISM to APO interface
Describe the pros and cons of option 1
    Pros
    No change to system design
    Cons
Significant potential for issues with synchronous timing between Goods Receipts in the ECC system and Production Orders from PRISM to APO
Interface method requires deletion/creation of production orders in APO which will cause issues for APO users
Option 2: Build additional interface between PRISM and APO for production confirmations
Describe the pros and cons of option 2
    Pros
Interface method of updating production orders will not cause issues for APO users.
    Cons
    New interface
Development work required in PRISM to feed new interface
Significant potential for issues with synchronous timing between Goods Receipts in the ECC system and Production Orders from PRISM to APO
Delay between GR from OPUS and production confirmation from PRISM to APO
Option 3: Build enhancement to ECC GR to update APO production orders.
Describe the pros and cons of option 3.  If only 2 options, then delete this section.  If more than 3 options, then add further sections.
    Pros
Ties the APO production confirmation to the ECC goods receipt, mimicking phase 2 scenario
Will not cause issues for APO users
Removes timing issue between goods receipt and production order confirmation
    Cons
    New development.
    Assumptions for Proposed Development:
Utilise available BADi upon posting of goods receipt
Will generate qRFC that will run Production Confirmation BAPI in APO
BADi executes in update task of goods receipt
Interface for goods receipts will contain PRISM production order number
    Recommended Decision
State which option is recommended as the decision, and the reason why this option has been recommended.
Option 3:  Build enhancement to ECC GR to update production orders in APO.

  • Is it possible to migrate data from a 4.6C system to an ECC 6.0 system?

    Hello all,
We have an ECC6.0/Oracle 11g system which runs Finance, Purchasing and Payroll/HR for our own organisation.
We also have another 4.6C/Oracle9 system where we run only Payroll for another organisation.
This is a separate landscape (Dev / Test / Prod / DR) which runs on its own hardware.
Clearly, this 4.6C system has to be upgraded in the next 12 months or so before it is out of maintenance.
However, we are exploring whether it would be possible to migrate the data from the 4.6C system to our existing ECC6.0 system instead of upgrading the 4.6C system.
In this way, we can decommission the 4.6C hardware and simplify our landscape.
Has anyone undertaken a similar exercise who would be willing to share their experiences?
Or does anyone have any opinions as to whether this would even be possible?
Our initial thinking is that we would probably have to write our own conversion programs and/or possibly use LSMW but it's early days so any feedback is welcome.
    Regards...John

    Hi,
However, we are exploring whether it would be possible to migrate the data from the 4.6C system to our existing ECC6.0 system instead of upgrading the 4.6C system.
You can make of ALE/IDOCs technology to transfer the required data from 4.6C system to ECC 6.0 system. Here you will need to perform necessary mapping of the fields and perform required technical configuration. Later write ABAP codes to fetch and transfer data .
    Hope this answers your query.

  • Issue in transfer of data from ECC to APO

    Hi All,
I have a requirement of transferring data from ECC to APO. I am using EXIT_SAPLCMAT_001 fro this purpose. The problem is, I need to transfer the data of a field that is not present in cif_matloc but present in /sapapo/matloc.
How should I proceed...Please help....this is an urgent requirement
    Thanks & Regards,
    SriLalitha

    Hi,
you may want to go to the transaction /SAPAPO/SNP_SFT_PROF
Determine Forecast of Replenishment Lead Time
    Use
In this field, you specify how the extended safety stock planning determines
    the forecast of the replenishment
lead time (RLT). The following values are available:
    Supply Chain
The system determines the RLT forecast using the supply chain structure by
adding the corresponding production, transportation, goods receipt, and goods
issue times. If there are alternative procurement options, the system always
    takes the
    longest
    option into account.
    Master Data
The system determines the RLT forecast from the location product master
    data.
    Master Data/ Supply Chain
First, the system determines the RLT forecast from the location product
master data. If no RLT forecast can be determined, the system determines the
forecast using the supply chain structure (as described under
    Supply
    Chain
    Dependencies
You can retrieve the replenishment lead time forecast yourself by using the
    GET_LEADTIME
method of the Business Add-In (BAdI) /SAPAPO/SNP_ADV_SFT.
Replenishment Lead Time in Calendar Days
Number of calendar days needed to obtain the product, including its
    components, through in-house
    production or external
    procurement.
    Use
The replenishment lead time (RLT) is used in the enhanced methods of safety
stock planning in Supply Network Planning (SNP). The goal of safety
stock planning is to comply with the specified service level, in order
to be prepared for unforeseen demand that may arise during the replenishment
lead time. The longer the RLT, the higher the planned safety stock level.
    Dependencies
The field is taken into account by the system only if you have specified
master data or master data/supply chain in the RLT: Determine
Forecast field of the safety stock planning profile used.
    Hope this helps.
The RLT from ECC is in MARC-WZEIT which is transferred to APO in structure /SAPAPO/MATIO field CHKHOR.
May be if you maintain the setting in the profile, you may get the value in RELDT.
    Thanks.

  • Unable to extract the data from ECC 6.0 to PSA

    Hello,
I'm trying to extract the data from ECC 6.0 data source name as 2LIS_11_VAHDR into BI 7.0
When i try to load Full Load into PSA , I'm getting following error message
Error Message: "DataSource 2LIS_11_VAHDR must be activated"
Actually the data source already active , I look at the datasource using T-code LBWE it is active.
In BI  on datasource(2LIS_11_VAHDR) when i right click selected "Manage"  system is giving throughing below error message
"Invalid DataStore object name /BIC/B0000043: Reason: No valid entry in table RSTS"
If anybody faced this error message please advise what i'm doing wrong?
    Advance thanks

    ECC 6.0 side
    Delete the setup tables
Fill the data into setup tables
    Schedule the job
I can see the data using RSA3 (2LIS_11_VAHDR) 1000 records
    BI7.0(Service Pack 15)
Replicate the datasource in Production in Backgroud
Migrate Datasource 3.5 to 7.0 in Development
    I did't migrate 3.5 to 7.0 in Production it's not allowing
When i try to schedule the InfoPakage it's giving error message "Data Source is not active"
I'm sure this problem relate to Data Source 3.5 to 7.0 convertion problem in production. In Development there is no problem because manually i convert the datasource 3.5 to 7.0

    Hi BW Experts,
while loading data from ECC 6.0 to BI  i got error in details tab of the infopackage as datapackage 1  arrived in bw processing not yet finished.
Could any one help me out?
    Thanks

    Amar,
please check the source system job status. If its successfully completed then we can expect data load sucess in BW side.
to check source system status: RSMO> select related load>in Menu Environment-->Job overview in source system.
once this over check the TRFC or IDocs struck
if TRFC, chk in TCode-SM58 or from environment select TRFC from source/data warhouse.
if you are finding TRFcs are in stuck just select and run manually to complete.

  • Master/Transaction data from ECC to APO-BW

    Hi All,
Normally we come across scenarios where Master/Transaction data is pulled from ECC to BW and then pulled into APO-BW. What are the pros and cons of CIF (direct connection between ECC and APo-BW) rather than pulling data from ECC to stand-alone BW and then into APO-BW?
