Load distribution of a Planned Order Operation

Hi All,
Need help in understanding an issue here.
For a Planned Order, detailed scheduling happened ,and schedule and Cpacity requirements were generated.
This is the case with just 1 operation. The requirement of this operation is of 1 Hour and schedule was created in Planned Order for the date- 01.07.2014.
But when we go for the capacity evaluation, in CM01> It shows load devide over two periods> 30.06.2014 and 01.07.2014.
That is,
For, 30.06.2014 load is-->0.614 hrs. Though, Latest start data and time still is same as in Planned order[01.07.2014]
and for 01.07.2014 load is>0.386 hrs. Latest start data and time still is same as in Planned order[01.07.2014]>Which is normal
That is a total of 1 hour.
Please help me understand what made this happen in Capacity evaluation, why we have different data in Planned Order and in CM01.
Why the load got devided over
Regards,
Avinash

Hi,
To add further and to more precise, the issue is:
In CM01[or in any capacity evaluation tcode], In a particular maonths load[Period] the opeartion from different month is showing up.
For example: if Period[month] 06 is veiwed of a Workcenter load, a line[load appears], whose earliest date is in 7th month[01.07.2014].
I expected to see, only Workcenters scheduled in 6th month to show up in the load evaluation.
Please look at the screen shot.

  • Change planned order operations

    Dear guru ,
i must develop an abap program that must change the operations of a planned order.
I can insert or delete the operations of the planned order.
Which best solution (BAPI,user exit ..) can you suggest ?
    Thanks

    Hi
there is no solution to this answer. you can't change operations in a PLANNED order. planned orders only refer to the master data (BOM, Routing, master recipe, task list, ...).
You have to either change the operations in the routing, recipie, task list, ... (if it is a change for all new orders) or convert the planned order to a PRODUCTION/PROCESS order and manipulate the operations there (if it is a one-off change)
Other options include the use of production versions as setup in MRP-4 of the material.

  • "CLOSED": HOW TO LOAD FIRM PLANNED ORDERS OF ANOTHER PLAN INTO ASCP PLAN?

    Hi everybody,
How to load firm planned orders of plan 1 into plan 2?
    Business Case:
Customer uses a separate planning for order intake. During order intake the requested due date is validated based on ASCP Gantt Chart. Bottlenecks are resolved. For make items firm discrete jobs are created, if adjusted suggested due dates are manually changed. For buy items firm planned orders are created for manually changed suggested due dates.
If the order is accepted the demand is transferred from the Order Intake MDS into the so called Operational MDS. The firm discrete job will be automatically visible in the operational ASCP Plan (after data collection/running ASCP Plan).
But how is it possible to include ONLY firm planned orders of another plan into your current plan?
    PLAN1 asigned master demand schedules
    - O_MDS1
    - O_MDS2
    PLAN2 assigned master demand schedules
    - O_MDS1
    - O_MDS2
    - T_MDS
I want to transfer the firm planned orders from plan2 to plan1.
    Thanks for all your inputs,
    Catalina

Since you need to run a data collection to load the new discrete job, I suggest you to add a custom step in the data collection.
    This custom step will
    1) select all firmed planned order in plan 2
    2) put the firm planned order into a new schedule through staging tables (MST_ST_SUPPLIES) .
    3) collect the data
Then run plan1 with this schedule defined as demand schedule for your new plan.

  • Capacity load in planned order

    Hi,
I am facing problem to see a load as per planned order wise in CM 02 & CM 07. But I can see the load in md12 after rescheduling .I have done the following settings
    1. While running MRP I have selected Lead time scheduling & capacity planning.
2.In Control key capacity tick is there
    3. In work center relevant to finite scheduling
4 For scheduling & .Cpacity formula in IMG relevant for capacity tick is there.
    Regards,
    Balu

    Hi,
For capacity =MACHINE * Operation quantity / Base quantity
For Scheduling =MACHINE * Operation quantity / Base quantity
    I am using those formulae.

  • Externally processed operation and planned order

    Hello experts,
When an operation is defined as externally processed, once the production order (from a planned order generated via MRP) is created, the purchase requisition for that operation is automatically generated. My question is if it is possible to generate the purchase requisition before generating the production order, I mean, with the planned order.
Although this external operation is defined in the routing, the planned order does not show it and it means that the purchase requisition is not generated.
In our scenario we want to convert the production orders as late as possible to have automatic changes in BOM, but if we do not convert the planned orders to production orders, we won’t have this purchase requisitions.
Is there any way to solve this?
    Regards

    Hi Laura
No, it's not possible to generate the purchase requisition for an externally processed operation before the creation of the production order. The planned order routing is only exploded for scheduling and capacity requirements calculation and an operation is not actually created.
As an alternative, you can create a separated material number and assign the special procurement 30 for subcontracting to this material. If you add this component to the BOM of the parent material, MRP will directly generate a purchase requisition for subcontracting.

  • Remaining capacity requirements scheduled for operation in Planned Order

    Hi all,
I'm workig with planned orders, and I need the "Remaining capacity requirements scheduled for operation" data to list it in a Z Report, but I don't know how to get it.
You can see the info in the "Detail Scheduling" of the planned order in MD13.
Anyone knows how to get the info? Any table or any FM to get it?
Points will be given for helping
    Thanks in advance!

Did you ever find out where the planned order capacity information lives?  I can find the production capacity information in table KBEZ, but it appears that there is no planned order info there.
    Thanks,

  • PP - Phantom Assembly Alt Item in BOM not loaded in Planned Order

    Hi all,
I have a scenario where in my finished product, I have several components organized in Alternate Group, and for each group, I define a component as Prime (100% usage) and others as Alternate (0% utilization). Among these there are some components that are configured as Phantom (Special Procurement 50), and these Phantom items, when they are Alternate in the BOM, ie, 0% Probability of Use in Alternate Item Group, it is not loaded in the list of components in Planned Order. Only the Phantom that is as Prime in BOM is showed in the Planned Order, together with their subcomponents.
The other components that are not phantom, usually appear within the Planned Order, those that have 100% utilization, and those who have 0% utilization set in the BOM. Obviously, all requirement is pointed in the Prime Item, but I can change according to availability of material in MDVP or manually in CO02.
When the Production Order is created directly by CO01, without conversion of planned order, the list of components typically brings all the Phantoms, independently of the Probability Use %.
Someone tell me if there is some kind of configuration to allow the Phantoms Optional also be uploaded to the component list of planned orders without having to change the percentage of use in BOM.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello MCantos,
When you have maintained the usage probability as 0% for a alternative component, that means you do not want that partular material to be planned further. In short this is just an Engineering Relevant Material (is not required in Production activity).
When this alternate material with usage probability 0% is phantom material, you want its components to be proposed. But you yourself have answered that this phantom material has usage probability 0% and this means it is not required in Production and thus its components as well are not required. Thus system is not exploding the BOM and proposing the material at the time of Production activity.
Hope I answered your query. Please check your usage probability for phantom assembly part and if required correct the same so that you can achive what you want.
    Thanks,
    Rahul.

  • How to regenerate COSS table for work order operation planning hours

    Hello,
I am looking for a SAP report or a custom solution to update the table COSS table from work order operation hours. Several work orders incorrectly updated in the table COSS with result the cost is incorrect.
For example: In the work order opertions, I have  planned 2.5 hrs and in the table COSS it is 1.5.
    Much appreciate for your help
    Bill

    It is quite simple actually.
As soon as your array exceeds SDU (defaults to 2048), sqlnet will fragment the packet. (see: sqlnet more data to client messages in your trace file)
As soon as the packet is bigger than your NICs MTU, the NIC will fragment the packet.
So, depending on the number of bytes for 1 record, high array size make sense or don't make sense.
And ideally SDU should be a multiple of MTU.
So do high arraysizes make sense? Usually not.

  • How to have a default generated operation in a Planned Order

    Dear Sir,
We execute MRP run to generate dependent Planned Orders for a FERT having multi-level BOM . In the BOM there may be few components against which the Routing has not been defined .
So we desire that generated Planned Order should have a default operation against those components which have no routing available .
Kindly guide us as how can we achive the same .
    With Thanks & Rgds
    B Mittal

    Dear Mittal ,
I will be interted to know about your material structure based on the BOM Level :
For an exmaple : FERT-HALB-RAW .There may be as many HALAB , RAW as per your business process.
For any FERT/HALB if this has to be produced in-house , generally , it should have valid BOM as well valid routing with sequence of operation and BOM compoenet assinged to those operation because , when you will run MRP-MD02 , it will generate Planned Order for both and subsequncelt it will allow you to convert the planned Order to Production Order .In case , routing is missing or BOM is mssing , while converting planned order to PO ( FERT/HALB) , it will flag you exception masg and ask you to create the same before proceed farther  or you can generate Operation based on the Option refelected while productioin order conversion .
we desire that generated Planned Order should have a default operation against those components which have no routing available -As you stated , if there is no routing avaliable for those component ( must be HALB /FERT) , there will not be any Routing copied to Planned Order in Master Data Tab  when running MRP in MD02.Basically  , in your case , Planned Order of FERT will be having routing with operation where as Planned Order for BOM compoenet which are HALB  , will not be having any routing master data .U have generate operation or create routing beofre conversion of production order .
    Hope it is clear

  • The FM to copy the simulated planned order to operative planning

    Hi Gurus,
Is there a function module which can copy the long-term planing results (Simulated Planned Orders) to the operative planning environment and create a PR, like MD43?
I found the FM MD_COPY_PLAF_LTP. But it seems too complex to be pratical. Or I just simply create the PR by reading the planned order data?
    Thank you.

Hi, I have the same requirement with you.
Did you find the solution? Could you please share with me
    thank you.

  • Operation wise total required hours for planned order in given date range

    Hello Experts,
My client wants the report to check the capacity utilization of the work centers for the all planned order in particular date range.
Is their any standard report which gives the work center wise operation wise total required hours? or which table should I use to make the customize report so that I will get total required capacity & available capacity.
Thanks in advance for use valuable suggestions.
    Sagar

    Hi Mario,
    Thanks for your reply,
In CM01 or CM05, we are getting requirement on weekly basis. How to get that report on daily basis? I want to give the input as a date range of the planned order. How to go for that?

  • I m doing operation subcontracting  . i that i m converting planned order

    dear sir
i m doing operation subcontracting  . i that i m converting planned order into prod order . i m facing error like Error or warning occurred during master data  transfer (see ). plz explain whole opration sub contracting step by step

    Dear,
    Procedure
    1. Create Purchase Info Record using T code ME11.(Vendor & material combination) for subcontracting.
    2. While creating routing for that header material and defining operation, For the
10 to 40th operation for which outsourcing is given set the control key as
PP02.After entering the control key as PP02 ,press enter -the system asks you
for the purchasing info record no & check the tick mark for Sub-contracting. Here
give the number which u obtained while using T code ME11.
    4) The moment you release the order system will create the PR for all external processing operations.
    5) That material you can transfer to your subcontracting vendor by ME2O or you can post transfer posting.
    6) In transfer posting you need to mention as a reference of Subcontracting PO, which you have already converted from SubPR.
    7) In that transfer posting, system will automaticaly generate 541Mtyp.
    8) You need to create SubCon Challan (J1IF01), for the material which you are sending outside of your plant.
    9) You need to mention that material doc number in creating challan.
    10) The same challan will be reconcilled after receipt of the material thru simple MIGO process.
    11) Your challan should get reconcilled by J1IFQ. It will remove the stock from supplier end from your system.

  • Distribution Receipt (Planned) orders w/o source of supply

    Hi guys,
How can I get all SNP Distribution Receipt (Planned) orders w/o source of supply in APO?
    BR,
    Alper

    Hi,
You can still create Distribution Receipts (Planned) orders, for this you have to maintain transprotation lane b/w vendor location (soruce) and plant locations (destination). Also you should have maintained the procurement type of the product as 'F' external procurement or 'X' both inhouse/external procurement. To run this create a test scenario  by maintaing 2 locations(Vendor and plant location) and a product. Assign the product and locations to active model. Create some forecast using transaction /n/sapapo/rrp3. Enter the product, location(Plant location) and quantity(with negative value). and save. Check the forecast in interactive planning table. Now run the Network heuristics by selecting the vendor, plant location and product. You should be able to see the distribution receipts (PR) created for product.
There is no need for maintain the PDS/PPM as source of supply.  Hope this is what you are expecting. If not let me know what actually you are looking for.

  • Planned order capacity requirement load on holiday

    Hi ,
We have some cases , the planned order capacity requirements be load at weekend (holiday), but we have no same issue for process order , that's means the resouce set up is correct.
Is any customizing related with planned order capcaity requirment ?
    Thanks !

    Hi,
If you select the Workday indicator  = 1 (Working days (overrides factory calendar) at "Interval of available Capacity Screen" of Workcenter screen system will schedule the  Order during the Holiday.(CA02)
This is applicable for Both Planned Order and Process Order.

  • Transfer LTP planned orders to Operational planned orders

    Hi
Can anyone suggest how to transfer planned orders generated from LTP(Long Term Plan) to Operational Plan?
    Regards
    Pradipta Sahoo

    Dear Sahoo,
You can transfer the simulative planned orders to operative planning using T Code MD43.
    Check this,
Copying the Long-Term Planning Results to Operative Planning
    Use
Once you have optimized the results of long-term planning, you can copy them to operative planning.
It is not only possible to copy the demand program to operative planning, you can also copy the planned orders firmed in long-term planning per material using the MRP transaction Interactive single-item planning.
When copying the results to operative planning, you can set the system to create purchase requisitions and delivery schedules instead of planned orders for materials procured externally.
    Prerequisites
You must firm the simulative planned orders you want to copy to operative planning. You can firm planned orders by:
    Making manual changes
    Using the planning time fence
    Setting a manual firming date
If, when copying the data to operative planning, you want the system to create purchase requisitions or delivery schedules for materials procured externally instead of planned orders, enter the appropriate indicators in the Create pur. req. and Schedule lines on the initial screen of single-item, interactive planning (in MRP).
When copying the results to operative planning, the system does not carry out any source determination. If you want the system to create delivery schedules and purchase requisitions to which a vendor has already been assigned, you must maintain the necessary master data in the Purchasing menu before carrying out the planning run in long-term planning.
