LSMW- LOIPRO Message type process code
Hi Can any body tell me what process code to use production order create (Message type LOIPRO, Basic type LOIPRO01)? We are trying to use "BAPI". But we are getting errors.

Thank you for you reply. We cann't use this function as it does not have required interface (CLOI_MASTERIDOC_CREATE_LOIPRO) for process code (from Tcode BD67). That to this function is outbound to generate IDOCs, not to read one and create Production Order.
Can you please let me know if have any idea about other functions? I checked KK5_GET_DATA_FROM_IDOC, which is not valid for this application.

In My Project, the SAP HCM is Maintained as a separate instance and rest such as FI/CO resides in ECC ERP. Now We need to Interface the HCM Instance with ECC ERP, where FI/CO resides to post Payroll Results. Hence I am writing a Technical Specs for ALE interface between SAP HCM and ECC ERP. I need to to Idoc Type and Message type for to create Delivery ( Tcode VL01N ) for a sales order.
I tried Idoc Type DELVRY03 and Message Type DESADV, but this is for Purchase Order ( VL31N ).

What is the message type and Idoc type for the process order? I found the message type LOIPRO for the production order, but didn't found for process order.
My requirement is to send the process order details to a logical system when the process order is created / released or changed.

EDI/ALE-Output type-Process code relation?

In EDI preocessing the relation between the Message type and the process code is know.
But where is the realtion of either of these two to the output type?
When we hit a F4 in the message control in WE20 for process codes it gives us a list.
How is this linkages established.
Output type-process code-message type-output routines?

I am a little further now.
I used output condition WA01 which is already set up in NACE and in MN23 I set up:
In SP01 I can see the created Spool entries after creating the Good issue with ME2O. So the print out would work. But I need an EDI output....
I created a new output condition ZWA1 in NACE and set "Processing routines" to EDI.
I set "Partner functions" to EDI and LS - logical system.
In MN23 I have:
I set Event Type to "WA" because when I look at a material document in MB03 it also shows WA:
In WE20 I have my LS - logicals system and set up the output for MBGMCR03:
What confuses me is: I have to send the EDI output to a LS - logical system. But in MN23 I can't set the LS - it gives error: "You cannot enter a partner function for output ZWA1"
No IDoc is created so far - please help. Thank you.

I am using LSMW-IDOC to create the condition record for transcation code(XK15) when i am executing i am generating successfully idoc i can see the updated vales in TK15 tcode, the data base is getting updated the problem is the scale id is increaminting automatically i should increament the scaleid i am passing the scale id that scale id should be displayed in Tk15 but the scale id is increamenting.......

I have a question in chang pointer.
When I change the values in the table( Segment data ) for IDOCs, an IDOC should be generated
Other words, When I change any application, an IDOC should be generate.
What should I do, I think Change pointer is required for this to geneate idoc for change of application/data.
In BD50 I see the change pointer is active for my custom message type.
May be I'm misunderstanding about change pointer.

Can anyone let me know how to change the message type in the code inspector results ?
I want to change the message type from warning to error or vice-versa. I looked for the classes but could not figure out the exact class and the process to do so.

VinodThere are certain options to supress error messages. You can find more information by clicking the 'i' button type being displayed in the code inspector results page. Here are some of the options,
1. ("#EC *) exculdes error messages regarding the current ABAP command
2. ("#EC NOTEXT) indicates that a string does not have to be stored as a text element
3. ("#EC CALLED) indicates that a FORM has a PERFORM call
4. ("#EC NEEDED) - no messages are output about a field that is only read
5. ("#EC PORTABLE) turns off the ASCII/EBCDIC test
6. ("#EC NOBREAK) - no messages are sent at BREAK-POINTs
7. ("#EC TRANSLANG) specifies that the use of TOUPPER or TOLOWER is also safe in multilingual systems.
8. ("#EC SYNTCHAR) specifies that the data TOUPPER or TOLOWER is used on contains only characters from the syntactical character set.

I want the message type, process code ad IDOC type to send IDOC to external system for shipment details to be sent. whenver a PGI is done I want that fields such as sales org,dist channel,division to be sent to external system. Does anyone knows which IDOC type to be used??

Doubt in IDOC's - Process Codes

Currently i am working on an object related to IDOC generation. This is my first object in IDOC's. I am doing it from the scratch including creation of segments, IDOC type, message type, process codes...
In this process, I am developing a function module that should be assigned to the process code. My doubt here is, is there any standard interface to the function module that we have to assign to the process code?
I am also giving the flow which i will be using in developing the Function module. Please go through it and kindly let me know if I am doing it in the right way or not?
1. Extract data from data base based on the entry in NAST
2. Filling IDOC DATA & Control records
3. Calling the FM MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE to generate the IDOC
Please suggest me whether i am doing it in the correct way or not?

For outbound u need to attach ur FM to the process code in WE41 tcode..I think u r using message control method for ur requirement.please look at the configurations for outbound using message control method.we use we41 (outbound process code) and we use this in the message control tab in the partner profiles.
The transaction codes that are required for this method are
We81
We30
We31
We82
We21
We20
Bd64
Nace
Me22n (purchase order), va02 (sales order) etc.
Ex: purchase order.
Message type: ORDERS
Idoc type: ORDERS05
Outbound process code for purchase order: me10

what Message type and Process Code can be used for 940 IDoc when a SHPMNT05 IDoc is being used. We are using SHPADV message, SHPM process code for ASN. Can I use the SHPMNT message type for 940?
