Missing Item in "My Posts"

I regularly review "My Posts" to see if there are any new messages that I can review. When I repeatedly click the "Next", there's sometimes a case where one of my posts isn't displayed. The text at the bottom states "Viewing 441-450 ...", but post #450 isn't there. If I change the Web link from one ending with "start=440&range=10" to something like "start=445&range=10", that post appears.
Is this just another case of the quirkiness of the programming behind the Apple Discussions pages?

Niel wrote:
I don't think that's the explanation. I can view that post if the URL contains "start=445" but not if it contains "start=440".
Instead of just looking at the numbers, look at the actual content of the posts.
If I view posts #441 through 450, here is the last part of that list:
- 448: Oct 21, 2007 5:37 PM <- matches #448 in 446-455
- 449: Oct 21, 2007 2:08 PM <- matches #449 in 446-455
- 450: (not shown)
If I view posts #451 through 460, here is the first part of that list:
- 451: Oct 15, 2007 9:38 PM <- matches #450 in 446-455
- 452: Oct 15, 2007 9:21 PM <- matches #451 in 446-455
- 453: Oct 13, 2007 11:17 PM <- matches #452 in 446-455
If I view posts #446 through 455, here is the middle part of that list:
- 448: Oct 21, 2007 5:37 PM <- matches #448 in 441-450
- 449: Oct 21, 2007 2:08 PM <- matches #449 in 441-450
- 450: Oct 15, 2007 9:38 PM <- matches #451 in 451-460
- 451: Oct 15, 2007 9:21 PM <- matches #449 in 451-460
- 452: Oct 13, 2007 11:17 PM <- matches #453 in 451-460
I see that there's nothing obviously missing.
Here are my new questions:
1) Why does a "gap" show only if the "pulled" message is the last one of a displayed range?
2) Why doesn't the list of 441-450 show the message from Oct 15, 2007 9:38 PM as post #450 instead of only displaying nine messages?
Regardless of the reason, this appears to me as inconsistent behavior.

  • Missing items in the IDoc for the delivery

    Hi to all,
Sorry if not posting in the right forum.
In my customer's scenario, an IDoc is created against a delivery (via the delivery output), and sent via ALE to a distant warehouse system, for picking and GI posting (basic type SHPMNT03).
For some times, the IDoc created against deliveries including BOMs is missing the main item of the BOM (though the BOM main item is in the delivery).
Consequently, the integration in the distant system is failing, because the higher-level item referenced in the BOM sub-items is missing.
Surprisingly, re-triggering the delivery output does re-generate a complete IDoc, where the segment for the main item is back.
I looked almost everywhere, did many searches in OSS (on SHPMNT03, on HIPOS, on E1ELD24 - segment name in the IDoc -, on "Missing items in the IDoc for the delivery", etc...), I even simply googled the web, but I can't even figure out what is the cause for this (I imagined it could be caused by a missing commit in the program generating the IDoc, but don't know whether this make sense).
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance and best regards

    Hello Yan
Jelena is right, you are better off taking it up with SAP. I also did not find any relevant OSS notes.
However the issue, according to my reading, is in the following areas:
    1) LV56KF05: INCLUDE LV56KF62 .  " FILL_E1EDL24"
This fills the EIEDL24 segment, may be the main item is filled  initially and overwritten later.
    2) Function Module: IDOC_OUTPUT_DELVRY
You can look at the following OSS notes (though not fully relevant)  for some clues:
810981 - Reference data missing in DESADV IDoc from decentralized WMS
537470 - BOM + batch split in decentralized WMS, confirmation fails
    752921 - VL563: Higher-level item does not exist
705086 - Higher-level item does not refer to existing item
    Hope this helps. Good luck.

  • Possible to clear vendor open item against already posted payment document?

    Hi
Can you advise if it is possible to clear an open item against already posted payment/clearing doc? Here is the background to the scenario:
An invoice was posted with transaction FB60. This was subsequently picked up in the payment run F110 and cleared by payment document number 200005678. The item went to the bank on the paymnet file and was paid out to the vendor. The transaction reference, which appeared on the incoming bank statemnet was the payment document number 200005678.
Subsequently it was discovered that the original invoice should have been posted with reference to a PO using MIRO. The requirement now is to reverse the paymnet documnet 200005678 in SAP, then reverse the document that was posted using FB60. After this the invoice will be posted using MIRO. This will create an open item on the vendor account.
This item will not be piad out again. Therefore the requirement is to try clear that open item against the previously posted payment document 200005678.
Is there any way to clear this vendor open item against the originally posted payment document 200005678?? Or any other advice on how this scenario can be handled in SAP?
    Thank for your help.
    Mike

    Hi,
I tried that option in our test system. I ran FBRA and entered Paymnet Documnet Number (+Clearing Doc Number), Company Code, Fiscal Year.
Then chose menu option Clearing -> Reset Cleared Items.
The system pops up a window asking for a reversal reason and reversal date.  I use 01 and posting date of today.
The system now posts another cleared document. That document places the invoice as an open item on the vendor account. It does not place the Payment Document as an open item on the account.
When I go to F-44 only the open vendor invoice is showing there. There is no open paymnet document.
Is there perhaps some configuration setting that stops the placement of the paymnet document as an open item when reset?
    Thanks for your help again.

  • [Sales A/R] [Sales Report] [Open Item List] [missing item]

    Dear Expoerts,
    Business One 2005A:
How to restore or rectify the 'missing item' on the Open Item List?
There is an item shows Commiited 10 however there is no corresponding Sales Orde.
Since there is no stock therefore data shows Available -10.
How can we purge this bug because we tried Goods Issue and Restore, neither methods can do anything about it.
Your advice will be very much appreciated.
    Kunitomo
    Tokyo, Japan

    Dear Gordon,
Yes, i'm sure. When i test it, i copy Sales Order (eg. got 5 items - 4 of 5 item is 0 amt)  to Delivery Order (got 5 items - 4 of 5 items is 0 amt). Then i delete the row of 4th & 5th item with 0 amt.
    FROM Sales order:
    Example: 1) Item A      $1,000.00
                   2) Item B              $0.00
                   3) Item C              $0.00
                   4) Item D              $0.00
                   5) Item E              $0.00
    To Delivery Note:
    Example: 1) Item A      $1,000.00
                   2) Item B              $0.00
                   3) Item C              $0.00
                   4) Item D              $0.00 (Delete row in Delivery Order)
                   5) Item E              $0.00 (Delete row in Delivery Order)
After i check the Open Item List - the amt, net & tax do not show the figure for this Sales Order. The Sales order just show $1,000.00 in "Original Amount" in Open Item List.
Please check for me, the SAP B1 system std is like that?
    Thank you.

  • FPBW: Extract Open Items with a posting date in the future

    Dear all,
I'm are currently searching for possibilities to extract Open Items with a posting date in the future from SAP IS-U 4.72 into SAP BW 3.5.
Currently I'm using the Business Content extractor 0FC_OP_01 together with the mass transaction FPBW in IS-U.
The problem I'm facing is within the mass transaction FPBW. I've have set the key date at 01.11.2007, but this job already runs for 52.000 seconds on the same database select-statement.

    Hi Marcos,
When you have created the Restricted keyfigures for Open Items, You have to add the date characteristic on which you are looking open item and add the variable there. Here you have to use a variable of type Interval and select the operator "<" the date of the Variable. If you go through, there are standard variable for keydate, which you can use directly.
    Hope you got the idea

    Natashaa

    Dear Natashaa,
Its surprising that you were able to modify an exisitng account from non-open item managed to Open Item Managed with balance it.
Please see below standard SAP Message which you should have received. while changing Open Item Management Tick in existing G/L Account.
Could you please answer how you were able to modify the G/L Account with Open Item when there was a balance in it.
You cannot change the open item management setting; (see long text)
        Message no. FH087
    Diagnosis
This account does not have a balance of zero.
    System Response
You cannot switch the open item management specification on or off with
        this transaction.
    Procedure
If you want to switch this function on retroactively for a certain
account, you should create a new account with the correct setting and
use this to make a transfer posting of existing items.
If you want to switch off the open item management function
retroactively for an account, you must first clear all the postings
currently on this account. You cannot make any changes to the account
management method until this is done.

  • How to know what are the missing items in 'Collect Files' ?

I used 'Collect Files' to gather my medias for my project, but it's giving me this error in log:
    Number of missing items:  1
This project is pretty huge so how can I find out which items is missing ?
I don't see any offline layers in my sequences...
    Thank you.

Do you have a file that is bigger than 2gb in size ? I know that on some cases Collect file won't move file with size over 2gb (if i'm correct, not sure about this).
If you are on CS4, open you collected file project and type "missing" in the search text field of the project panel, and AE will show you all the missing files.
You can also have a look at the log file created when you collected the file to see wat file is missing.
    Hope that helps.

  • Why are missing items when import pst files to Outlook 2011 for mac?

    Hello.
After installing Office 2011 for Mac I configured Outlook and it was allright.
But when I tried to import a pst file from the old laptop who has Office 2007, I found that in the Outlook 2011 Inbox I have only ~60% items comparative with the Outlook 2007 Inbox.
From Microsoft Office forums I've got an answer that there are indeed some reports with missing items when import pst in Outlook 2011 but the solution they gave me (create folders in Inbox before import) doesn't work.
Do you know something about this kind of problems?
Is it a feature in Outlook 2011 which automaticaly select/delete/combine items based on the similarity between them or based something else?
Have you an ideea how to finally use this macbook and in the same time all my old emails?
    Thanks.

    Hi Steve,
Thanks for this-yes, eventually, I do send/receive fine, once I've poppedd my passwords in.
I think you are right in that BT seem to be having unique server/login issues...at least this is what I've read elsewhere too.
Iroonically, this AM I opened my new Mac and have *not* been asked for passwords so perhaps the changes I made in the settings yesterday (keychain reset in Mac) and also changing it from smtp.....to mail.btinternet.com solved the issue...who knows? All I know is this last week I've nearly lost the will to live on more than one occasion, from the transition from PC Windows Live Mail to Outlook for Mac.

  • What is the meaning of "Item Created by Posting Interface" flag

I saw a flag checked in Display Document : Offsetting item window. Below is the F1 help of it. But still I didnot get the concept of this flag.
    Item Created by Posting Interface
    Use
Indicates that the G/L item is generated in the posting interface for Contract Accounts Receivable/Payable (FI-CA).
This indicator is required internally by the system in order to be able to execute all the activities necessary for resetting cleared items.
    Examples
The following items posted during clearing carry this indicator:
    Cash discount deductions
    Other deductions within tolerances
    Exchange rate differences
    Tax adjustments
Also the field next to this flag contains one value and that field has below F1-help
    Transaction key for account determination
Defines the type of automatic posting in question. These keys are defined in the system and cannot be changed.
    Use
The transaction key documents the type of tax following transfer to General Ledger Accounting (FI-GL).
The transaction key is used by the system to determine the tax accounts to be posted to automatically.
    Examples
MWS is used for output tax.
VST is used for input tax.
RDW is used for rounding amounts when clearing in an alternative currency.
BVR (formerly BUV) is used for company code clearing.
SKT is used for cash discounts.

    Murtuza:
Certain processes generate postings above and beyond the entered information, eg. cash discounts or rounding etc.  these internally generated items are posting relevant but were not entered by user/transaction.  in this way that flag identifies the cause for the posting.
    regards,
    bill.

  • Missing Items List

In purchasing reports window for the open items list reports from the dropdown menu if you the select the "missing items " you get a report for the items which are in negative stock values. What does field consignment mean in this report?
    Regards
    Louis

    Hi Buddy,
In the Open Items List (Reports -> Sales and Purchasing -> Open items
List),items appear in 'Missing Items List' when the 'Available' stock is
negative. The available stock is displayed in the Item Master Data ->
    Stock tab.
When the 'Available' figure (Inventory - Item Master Data - Stock Tab)
falls below zero the item is visible in the missing items.
The consignment field is visible in the Item Master Data - Stock tab.
If it is not visible go to Tools - Form Settings and select the
'Visible' check box for the field.) If this field has a value then it
will be visible when the item appears in the Open Items List.
The figure which appears in the 'Consignment' column is a calculation
field, based on the sum of all open deliveries(where the delivery
increases the negative 'Available' stock)/Released Production orders -
    open returns.
Hope the above information can be useful for you.
    Best Regards,
    Tim

  • Missing Items list returns wrong results

    Hi All,
Have an issue whereby items are included on the missing items list report which show no consignment value and a positive available value...
I.e. Item A is showing on the list with:
    In stock 30
    Committed 1
    Available 29
    Anyone ever come across this?
    Many Thanks,
    Matt

    Hi Guys,
I think the issue is more to do with the fact that the report is picking the items up even though it has a positive value in the available field, the consignment field seems to be correct.
This is happening for a lot of items, even for items where there is no data in either the consignment or available fields.
    The version is 8.8 PL14.
    Thanks,
    Matt

  • Cancellation of one of invoiced item among other posted item in  MIRO

    Hello Gurus,
I have posted  invoice. The invoice contains 10 items. Out of which only nine  item to be posted . But I have posted  4th item, which must not be posted. Is there any process to reverse this item with amount & qty .
    Aprt from following processes.
    1) creating credit memo
    2) returning this item from Po
    3) cancellation of invoice

    Hi,
You can cancel entire documents and re-post with correct line item as per you have received
the second option is that you can pass credit MEMO to reverse the amount but the qty in MM will not reduces which means there is difference in stock as one item physical you haven't receved but in system it will shows. to avoid this you have to return the line item which youn't received then pass the credit MEMO which is best option in MM & FI both entries will be perfect. Note that if material is subjected to Exice then you have reverse the excis eduties through J1IS then follow the credit memo. Hope this hepls you.
