MM Process of excisable materials

Hi,
As for excisable material  first we make the PO,  then ref. to that PO when we receivd the material first we are doing the part1 in J1IEX  here we are getting the  part1 number  after that we are making Gr with MB01,  ref. to that part1 number  the after GR, we are doing  J1IEX PAERT2  ref. to part 1 number.  I want to know what are the next  steps which are needed to complate the MM as well as finanace process, and in J2I5 what is effect after J2I5.
regards,
   zafar

  • Subcontracting process - Non excisable materials

    Dear all,
What is process in SAP for sending non excisable material to subcontractors & receipting finished material ?
Here material is not sent on 57F4 Challan.
    Jeyakanthan

If material is noexcisable then no need to send the document with J1IF01 (subcontracting challan) u can send the material to vendor with 541 movement type and for this movement type u can configure the print out put format for 541 movement and send the material on this new formate for 541.
As material is nonexcisable, then there is no need to keep track of  material in Annexture IV so subcontracting challane not require.
    hope this makes things clear

  • Excise treatment during subcontracting process with excise duty

    Dear all,
Iam aware of the subcontracting process STEPS, but my query is while dealing with Excise in Subcontracting process, will the Excise duties captured in J1IS(create outgoing excise invoice) be RECONCILED with excise duties captured in J1IEX(subcontractor's excise invoice). As per my scenario both the duties are different unlike reconciliation process in the process without excise duty. My questions are
1.Do both excise duties during j1is and j1iex should be same or can it be different (since in  j1is we capture Duties on raw material's assesable value where as in j1iex we capture duties semi finished goods given by sub contractor.)
2.Kindly eloborate treatment of  excise duties captured in these steps.
Revert if you didnt understand this scenarion.
    Regards,
    Sravanthi.Y

    Hi,
57fc challan will be issued when we send raw materials to subcontractors WITHOUT EXISE DUTY.Hence not relevant in my case. But my case is WITH excise duty.we send subcontractor the excise invoice by using j1is. later he will process these raw materials and will give back the semi finished goods along with excise invoice(which we will capture n post using j1iex). so my question will excise duties differ in j1is(excise invoice TO subcontractor) and in j1iex(excise duty FROM subcontractor)?

  • Stock Transfer for Excisable Materials Using Movement Type 301

    Hi,
We are having a Plant 1002 as excisable Materials.
During GR we following the process like GR (Part -I), Capture Invoice, Post Invoice.
Can we transfer the Material from Plant 1002 to other Plant, say 1001, using Movement Type 301?
Or we need to follow some other router for Stock Transfer for the Excisable Materials?
I was told by the ex-consultant that we would be using Mov Type 301 for all Stock Transfers, but I have a doubt, please guide.*
    Regards,

    Hi PK,
Here in Brazil we work with excisable material and when we have to transfer it plant to plant, we have to use IVA that performs tax posts on accounting document. Also, we have to create Nota Fiscal (BrazillianLegal Document).
I think you have to talk to your legal/accounting area in order to make sure which procedure you will have to use.
If you need tax posting on accounting document, then you will not be able to use 301 movement type.
We use MM/SD Plant to Plant transfer (movement type 861 / 862)
Depending on your Legal/accounting area feed back, you could use this scenario or just MM plant to plant transfer (movement type 303/305).
If they are ok with no tax postings on accounting document, then 301 movement type should be used.
Try to make a test, show then how it works, then you could get ok from then
    I hope it helps you.
    Best Regards,

  • Consigment process with excise processing

    Hello,
I would like to know the complet vendor consigment process with Excise Processing.
    Thanks
    Manish

    Hi,
          Process:
Before you can order a material from a vendor or post a goods receipt to consignment stock, you must maintain the consignment price for the vendor in an info record. The price is required for material valuation and accounting purposes.
If you order consignment material from several vendors, the system maintains the consignment stock separately for each vendor, since the individual quantities of the material can have different prices with each vendor.
You can order goods from external vendors as vendor consignment goods. You carry the goods in the vendor consignment stock in your site and therefore they remain the property of the external vendor (special stock manager) and do not belong to your valuated stock.also they are not considered for your MRP planning.
This contains the following main functions:
    ·        You can order goods from an external vendor as consignment goods by setting the Consignment item category manually in the purchase order.
    ·        You can transfer goods in the consignment stock of your site to other sites. To do this, you post goods manually from the consignment stock to your own stock. This creates a legally binding contract with the external vendor.
Settlement of the withdrawal is done regularly at an agreed time for eg. quarterly, half yearly...
    Activities in Materials Management:
Activity:                     Display Consignment Stocks/ Settle Consignment/Pipeline Liabilities
Transaction Code:       MB54 /    MRKO    Respectively...
Hope it helps you clear the basics of consignment...

    Steps are
    1. Create material master with valuation type import duty free
    2. Create vendor master for foreign currency with schema group for imports
    3. Create info record(default valuation type as IMP-DF)
    Note :
Maintain exchange rate for "EUR" currency for exchange rate type EURX.
Maintain exchange rate for required currency in exchange rate table using OB08
    4. Create import purchase order with exchange rate for currency.
    5. Usual condition types as import but no duties to capture.
    6. Pay freight or landing charges using FI vendor invoice using FB60.
    7. No need to do commerical invoice(MIRO) for paying customs duties
    8. Do migo, system will prompt for commerical inv. no. & year,Keep it blank do n't enter anything.
    9. In excise tab of migo, select no excise entry.
    10. In MIRO,Do vendor invoice.

  • Goods Receipt Reversal (Excisable Materials)

    Hi,
For exisable Materials, we created the Purchase Order, done the Goods Receipt (Only Part I), done the Invoice Verification.
We could not do the Capture & Post Invoice.
Now we need to cancel the Goods Receipt.
Can we simply reverse the Invoice Verification (MR8M) and Material Document (MBST)?
Do we need to do something extra as these are the Excisable Materials. Please note that the Material exists in QA Stock only.
    Regards,
    PK

    Hi,
If the material is not actually going to be reversed to vendor, that means its only GRN reversal due to other reasons, you can follow the steps as mentioned.
Part1 entries if created at GRN will automatically get nullified once GRN is cancelled.

  • SubContract Process with Excise Flow

    Hello All,
Can anyone please explain me in Detail Subcontract Process with Excise flow considering these...
    1. Subcontracting without payment of Excise duty
    2. Subcontracting under full payment of Excise duty
and if scrap is to generate under process. So how to maintain that in PO.  and Later how to reconcile that in Excise flow..
I will be very thankful if anyone help me ...
    Abhinay....

    hi,
    SUBCONTRACTING:
    To create Subcontracting challan:
J1IF01 - Creating sub contracting Chelan
    J1IFQ - Reconciliation for Chelan
J1IF13 - after receiving all items
    Subcontracting without Payment of Duty
    Creation of Subcontracting PO (ME21N)
Transfer Posting of Components to Subcontractor (Mvmt Type - 541) (MB1B/ME2O/MIGO)
Creation of Subcontracting Challan w.r.t. Transfer Posting Doc (J1IF01)
    Goods Receipt w.r.t. Subcontracting PO and Refer Subcontracting Challan at the time of GR (MIGO) {GR with 101 and auto consumption of components with 543 movement}
    Reconciliation of Subcontracting Challan (J1IFQ)
    Completion of Subcontracting Challan (J1IF13)
    Generation of Annexure IV (J1IFR)
Note: - In this case, you have to maintain the Assessable Value for the Components to be supplied to Vendor in J1ID and also Excise Tax rates for the Chapter IDs linked with these components. So during J1IF01, system will take the Assessable Value as Excise base Value and calculates the Excise Duties by taking Excise Tax Rates.
Subcontracting under Full Payment of Duty
    Creation of Subcontracting PO (ME21N)
Transfer Posting of Components to Subcontractor (MB1B/ME2O/MIGO)
Creation of Outgoing Excise Invoice w.r.t. Transfer Posting Document (J1IS) - Used to send the components to Subcontractor's. Here 57F4 Challan is not created.
    Master Data
MM01- Material Masters for Components and FG
    XK01 - Vendor Master (Subcontractor)
    CS01 - BOM for FG
ME11 - Purchase Inforecord for Subcontracting

  • Goods Receipt Reversal For Excisable Materials

    Hi,
We did the Goods Receipt For Excisable Materials. At the time of Goods Receipt, we selected the Excise Option "Only Part 1". And out RG23A Part I Register got updated.
Later we had to reverse the Goods Receipt.
What I want to know is that what do I need to to reverse the entry in RG23A Part I Register.
Do I need to update the Register using T Code, J1I5, If yes which Rcpt/Issu classification codes option should I select.
IIM     Issued for use/installation or in manufacture
IPD     Issued for clearance/Removal on payment of duty
IWD     Issued for clearance/Removal without payment of duty
IDH     Removal from factory on payment of duty for Home use
IDE     Removal on payment of duty for export under no bond
IWE     Removal without payment of duty for export under bond
IWT     Removal without payment of duty for transfers
IWO     Removal without payment of duty for other purpose
    Please guide.
    Regards,

    Hi,
as per your thread you have posted you have captured the Excise Duty.that means Part I is done . Before Posting the  Vendor Invoice (MIRO) transaction you have to post the Excise Invoice by the help of the Transaction code J1IEX..selecting POST option.
At the Month End you have update the register by the the Transaction code J1I5.( Selecting the proper Register) After that you have to go for J2I6 to get the all excise values you have taken Excise Credit for the month.
As per your requirement If you want to Cancel the Excise Invoice after capturing the Excise value,,,,then you have to cancel the GR and Cancel the Excise invoice by J1IEX ( by selecting Cancel option).
    With Regards,
