Monitor status

Hi Experts,
I am not sure how to change monitor result status from red to green.
Would you be able to provide some clues?
Thanks
Adette

Hi,
In transaction RSMO you can view 3tabs 1.Header 2.Status 3.Details.
Go to the status tab-> Double click on the red traffic light next to total->
Set overall status to status OK (1st option) click save.
By this way you can change the status from Red to green. But it is not advisable
to do so because the data is in your datatarget can be with errors.

Looking at the error message "The Network Adapter could not establish the connection" , It appears hostname and port may be incorrect. Review the targets.xml under E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\SAP_solman_SDB\emd and
emoms.properties under E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\SAP_solman_SDB\config folder to make sure host ( sap_solman) and port (1527) are correct.
As far as setting the environment variables goes, you can go to control panel -> system -> advanced -> environment variables and set the ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID

Result: data is not come to BW.
    Observation:
    1) In source system the job is not getting started for ALEREMOTE_CR user and always in ready mode.
    2) In monitor screen in BW when I click on OLTP push button, system not allowing me to enter in to Source system and saying check the connection parameters. (Source system connection  check is OK)
Kindly look in to this and feel free to contact me for any explanation is required.

    Hi,
I will suggest you to check a few places where you can see the status
    1) SM37 job log (In source system if load is from R/3 or in BW if its a datamart load) (give request name) and it should give you the details about the request. If its active make sure that the job log is getting updated at frequent intervals.
    2) SM66 get the job details (server name PID etc from SM37) and see in SM66 if the job is running or not. (In source system if load is from R/3 or in BW if its a datamart load). See if its accessing/updating some tables or is not doing anything at all.
    3) RSMO see what is available in details tab. It may be in update rules.
    4) ST22 check if any short dump has occured.(In source system if load is from R/3 or in BW if its a datamart load).
    5) SM58 and BD87 for pending tRFCs
Once you identify you can rectify the error.
If all the records are in PSA you can pull it from the PSA to target. Else you may have to pull it again from source infoprovider.
If its running and if you are able to see it active in SM66 you can wait for some time to let it finish. You can also try SM50 / SM51 to see what is happening in the system level like reading/inserting tables etc.
If you feel its active and running you can verify by checking if the number of records has increased in the new data table.
    Thanks,

    Dear SAP Expert,
I have problem when setup technical monitoring SAP system through t-code SOLMAN_SETUP in Solman.
Managed system configuration (satellite system) was configured with green indicator for all steps.
Technical monitoring (system monitoring) steps were configured also with green indicator for all steps.

And after 2 day the status is not changed yet to another indicator.
There is no problem with network firewall and server firewall.
Is there anyone of you have experience to solve this problem?

  • Windows Screen Saver and Monitor Status

How do I communicate to windows to find the Windows screen saver status and the monitor status?

I don't know the particular API calls you need for that, but here's the general way to access Windows innards:
Use the CALL LIBRARY function, and point it to ADVAPI32.dll.
This particular call is set up to call "GetUserNameA", returning the logged-in user's name.
If there's an API for what you need, then configure this function to go call it.

  • Message monitoring Status Waiting for email receiver

    Hi Guru,
Scenario:  SAP ECC will call Error Handling interface class. The communication channel for the Error Handling interface is Email Adapter.
    Below is CC setting:
    Adapter Type: Mail  (Receiver)
    Transport Protocol: SMTP
    Message Protocol: XIALL
    Adapter Engine: Integration Server
    URL: smtp://11.11.11.111/
    Check - Configure User Authentication
    User : user1
    Password: password
    Mail Attributes:
      From: [email protected]
      To    : [email protected]
      Subject : test
      Content Encoding: base64
I encountered one problem where my email receiver status in message monitoring is always 'Waiting'. I do not know what went wrong in the setting? Does anyone know how to solve my problem ?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards

XI tries 3 times before changing the status of the message to System Error. One can Manually resend the error messages by using the RESEND button in RWB. In scenarios where XI was trying to send the message to an end system that was down for maintenance, you would want XI to resubmit the message automatically without human intervention. What would be nice is to able to tune the retries like IS_Retry which is available for Integration engine.
We can achieve this by changing the retry count used by the Adapter Engine, by default its set to 3 times, 5 minutes apart. This count can be changed in Visual Admin->server->services-> SAP XI Adapter: XI.
Here  change the number Retries parameter from 3 to 10 and change the retry retryInterval to around 10minutes. For these configuration changes to be picked up, restart SAP XI Adapter: XI.

  • Adapter Monitor---Status of SLD access

    Hi All,
Could you please help me out in this ?
    In Adapter Monitor,
The status of SLD access is RED and TEXT is as follows.
    SLD host:port = starxi:50000
Error getting JPR configuration from SLD. Exception: No entity of class SAP_BusinessSystem for SXI.SystemHome.starxi found
No access to get JPR configuration
How to rectify this error ?
    Thanks,
    Ram

    Dear Ram,
    This  might  solve the issue,
    a)Start transaction SXI_CACHE.
b)From the context menu XI Runtime Cache select Start Complete Cache Refresh.
If you still face issue try this .
Many actions require to access System Landscape Directory content from the Integration Builder. To optimize performance, this content is loaded into a cache so that the System Landscape Directory does not have to be accessed directly each time that System Landscape Directory content is required.
However, this cache is not automatically updated if changes are made to the content of the System Landscape Directory. For this reason that we delete the System Landscape Directory cache if changes have been made to content in the System Landscape Directory. The cache is then filled each time that the System Landscape Directory is accessed. If we log on to the Integration Builder after we have made a change in the SLD, we do not need to delete the SLD cache.
To clear the SLD cache, from the Integration Builder main menu, choose Environment ® Delete Cache for SLD Data.
Once we have deleted the cache for SLD data, accessing objects in the SLD may take longer than usual initially.

  • In Weblogic admin server,in monitoring status the services status is SHUTDOWN,but the corresponding services are running fine

    Hi All,
In WebLogic server when we checked the health status through monitoring tab. Initially ,we find the Analytic provider services and Essbase Administrative services were UNKNOWN.
we tried restarting the specific services (stopped and started the "Stop Analytic Provider services(Oracle Weblogic 10)" ,"Stop Essbase Administration services (Oracle Weblogic 10)" ).it has no effect still the status remains same as "UNKNOWN". But the services are running fine and the EAS console also working fine. After that,we restarted the weblogic  hosting server. Now the status changed as "SHUTDOWN". Now also the services are running fine and the EAS console also working fine. How to make the health status of both the services to be RUNNING and why it is showing like this eventhough the services are working fine.?
We have gone through the Oracle Document ID:1563358 which we felt relevant to this. Please guide through whether to apply patches. Our weblogic server version is 10.3.6.0.

    Hi,
Patches in this document Doc ID 1563358.1 belongs to weblogic versions from 10.3.4 to 12.1.1  so is it your weblogic version is within this range?
Kindly check your weblogic version using below commands.
    cd $DOMAIN_HOME/bin
    . ./setDomainEnv.sh
    $ java Weblogic.version
    Or for detail
    $ java Weblogic.version –verbose

  • How can I monitor Status word From the other side of the GPIB bus

I develop Thermal system control that should be operate thru the GPIB IEE 488.2 bus , my instrument application already written in Visual Basic ,The system knowes to do basic operation such as SETPOINT ,AIRDUT , BEGIN , STOP and more but I have do a problem , any time that I capture command from the controller the status word stuck at listener mode and I can not send another command again because my loop is waiting for the other side (the controller ) to tallk by monitor the IBSTA word .
There is anyway to reset ,clear ,initialize STATUS word again to his default value ?
Note : I am using VB 6 , the Samples that you have here for Non-controller is good so far if I want to send and recive data manualy (c
    omputer to computer)
What if I have A system that work and always waiting for capture command and do somthing ?
I will be very greatful if anyone can help me , send me sample code for Status checking loop.
    MIKI-AVI

    Hello Miki-Avi,
I'm having a little bit of trouble understanding what you're trying to do. It seems that you have an instrument application that you have written and works in some instances but gets into an infinite loop in other cases. I think that your loop is waiting for something in the Status byte to change, and you're wondering how you can get it to change.
I'm not sure what bit you're waiting for, but I would assume that it is the LACS bit 2. You do not want to simply reset the IBSTA byte because this byte tells you what is happening on the GPIB interface. So, if you're waiting for the LACS bit to change, then you are waiting for the board to be addressed as a listener. Your controller would address the non-controller as a listener once you sent it da
ta with an IBDEV and an IBWRT call.
If you are looking for code for a status checking loop, check the following resources. Remember that you must call ibwait 0 to update your IBSTA byte. The 488.2 Function Reference is very useful in figuring out what you need to do.

  • Best approach to monitoring 'status' and Time in BPEL/BAM?

    Hi,
I have a composite to handle 'Orders' which goes through various stages in the process. The process will change the status of the order as it goes through various activities, and the statuses include 'Submitted', 'Started Processing' and 'Processed'.
My question is, how would I monitor the average time that orders spend before they begin being processed i.e. the time difference between 'Submitted' status and 'Started Processing' status? Would it be using sensors (variable or activity) or feeding data through BAM adapter?
My Data Object in BAM is currently set to hold each different order and then I have columns to record the Time at which it reaches these statuses. Following these, I then have columns to hold the differences in Time between stages to see how long the order spends in these stages E.g difference between 'Submitted' and 'Started Processing' etc etc
Order ID | Submit Time | Started Processing Time | Processed Time | Time between 'Submitted' & 'Started Processing'
    001 | 09:00 | 11:00 | 12:00 | 2 Hours
    002 | 09:45 | 11:15 | 12:00 | 1 Hour 30 mins
I would appreciate it if someone could guide me on whether this design approach is correct and how I can build on this please. E.g, is the data object correct for this and will it be easy to work out average times across multiple orders (not sure how I can currently include this in the data object)
    Thanks in advance

    Hi
Yes, your data approach is correct.
You can use BAM adapter to feed information from the composite level e.g. mediator to BAM
and either Monitor Express ( 1-click as one response below pointed out and our recommended approach) or Sensors depending on your preference.
You can send timestamps for various status from composite to BAM.
Let BAM do the calculations for you.
The order booking sample on BAM OTN under samples and tutorials will be a good sample to refer to.
Also there are samples on Monitor Express, BPEL-BAM ( highlights BAM adapter at composite level)

  • In SMQ1 (qRFC Monitor) status

    Hi,
In SMQ1 (qRFC Monitor) I have status 'NOSEND'. In the table TRFCQOUT, some entries have the status 'READY', others 'RECORDED'. ARFCSSTATE is 'READ'. What do these statuses mean? Which values in the field 'Status' mean what and which values are correct and which are alarming? Are the statuses BW-specific or generally valid in qRFC?
    Thanks,
    Pradeep

    Hey pradeep,
Don't post the interview question over here.
Table TRFCQOUT and ARFCSSTATE: Status READ means that the record was read once either in a delta request or in a repetition of the delta request. However, this does not mean that the record has successfully reached the BW yet. The status READY in the TRFCQOUT and RECORDED in the ARFCSSTATE means that the record has been written into the DeltaQueue and will be loaded into the BW with the next delta request or a repetition of a delta. In any case only the statuses READ, READY and RECORDED in both tables are considered to be valid. The status EXECUTED in TRFCQOUT can occur temporarily. It is set before starting a DeltaExtraction for all records with status READ present at that time. The records with status EXECUTED are usually deleted from the queue in packages within a delta request directly after setting the status before extracting a new delta. If you see such records, it means that either a process which is confirming and deleting records which have been loaded into the BW is successfully running at the moment, or, if the records remain in the table for a longer period of time with status EXECUTED, it is likely that there are problems with deleting the records which have already been successfully been loaded into the BW. In this state, no more deltas are loaded into the BW. Every other status is an indicator for an error or an inconsistency. NOSEND in SMQ1 means nothing (see note 378903). The value 'U' in field 'NOSEND' of table TRFCQOUT is discomforting.
Hopefully this is the correct answer that u were looking for your question
    Thanks,
    Om Ambulker
