Movies not getting erased

I am having an problem with my video files not truly getting deleted.
I have been noticing my Aperture library getting way too large lately, so I opened it up and started to dig around. I started to notice many .mov files that I had completely erased within Aperture still sticking around. I Command+Delete them within the program and also emptied the Aperture Trash, but the .mov files are sticking around. Since I am filming in 1080p using my 550D these files are rather large.
Am I doing something wrong? I am very new to Aperture and I am still getting used to the whole idea of having Masters for my photos.
The videos seem to stick around in the Master folder in the Aperture library. The movies that are still in my library also have a tiny version in the Preview folder in the Library. The ones that are just sticking around dont.
Any help would be great. I dont really like all this HD space getting taken up by something I have to go digging for.

Really? I thought that:
list.setMaxAge(0);
would make the cookie live until the browser is closed. Removing a cookie is normally done by setting the value to null.
