IMovie and Microsoft Office NOT WORKING! PLEASE HELP!

Just recently, out of nowhere, my iMovie and Microsoft Office stopped working; they won't turn on. I have Leopard 10.5, and they had been working on it since recently. Whenever I start iMovie, the "This program has quit unexpectedly" window comes up. Here's what I did. Firstly, I reported the problem to Apple and tried relaunching the program. That didn't work. Then, I deleted anything I had downloaded recently that may have affected it. Nothing. Next, I tried going into Library>Preferences and deleting all files with "iMovie" in the name. Nada. I then opened up disk utility and repaired disk permissions; yup, you guessed it, it didn't work. Finally, I archived and reinstalled Leopard, but it's still not working.
As for Microsoft Office, I have only reported the problem and deleted recent downloads. I haven't tried anything else (excluding the Leopard thing) to fix Office.
Please help ASAP! I need both of these applications for an upcoming project... and I may have to see a Mac Genius after this...

Well, that tells us that it's most likely something in your user account and not with iMovie or Office in general. If you need to get your videos edited right away and don't have time for troubleshooting, you can transfer them to the other account by copying them into the Users -> Shared folder. That would allow you to have access to them from the working account.
As to fixing the problem, you might try asking in the iMovie forum. It's possible that you have a corrupted project that iMovie keeps trying to open by default and that deleting that project might fix the problem. I'm not an iMovie user, though, so I'm not sure. Asking in the iMovie forum will probably get you more informed suggestions.
As to Office, what version is it, and do none of the applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Entourage) launch, or is it just some and if so which one(s)?

I got stuck around a issue where in out of office is not working .. although I am able to set back out of office from outlook and OWA but do not receive any response for either internal or external . There are no rules in-place , also tried deleting IPM.Note.Rules.OofTemplate.Microsof
from Mfcmapi but no luck so far . Please suggest.

1.Please disable the out of office and re enable it again and at the same time please check the oof is enabled on the owa.
Set-MailboxAutoReplyConfiguration “[email protected]” –AutoReplyState Disabled -InternalMessage $null -externalmessage $null

2.Check the event logs on the mailbox server for the event ID "3004"
3.On problematic user mailbox ,just take a backup of all the rules from outlook client and then delete those rules and then disable the OOF and re enabled it again.If we have the crossed the rules quota thenOOF message will not generated from that mailbox as
well as we will be getting the event ID 3004 on the mailbox servers.
If In case on the above step if you don't wanted to delete the existing rules then we can increase the rules quota size and check the oof message is generated or not.
Get-Mailbox –Identity "nithya" | fl RulesQuota
Set-Mailbox –Identity "nithya" –RulesQuota 256KB
4.To check it is for an single user or else for the whole organisation you can make use of creating the test mailboxes and check the results.
If the problem is on the organisation wide : -
1.Make sure exchange mailbox assistant service is running on the exchange servers.
2.Then make sure the EWS url's are properly configured on the exchange servers as well as check the autodiscover funtionality too.
3.Then for the remote domains to receive oof message we need to allow external oof messages on the remote domain configuration .

The access point for internet on Airtel is airtelgprs.com
AFAIK and in my case on my 701, 2G internet doesn't work fine when you select dual mode in network mode.
Change it to only 2G or only 3G if you have activated the service.
Now the internet should work fine.

Microsoft office not working in OSX Montain Lion. Help!

Microsoft office (2011 version) is not working in my Mac Air 11' (I bought it last year) and I did not find a way to fix the problem. Anyone had the same problem?

Apple Mail and Exchange Out of Office Not Working

Has anyone had issues with Yosemite Mail and setting Out of Office for Exchange 2010?
I can set Mail to send Out of Office replies but cannot change the scheduled dates from 2/12/1982, 10:00 AM. Even when I do set it, it does not seem to send the OOO notifications. I can set it just fine on my iPhone 6 and Mavericks Mail worked fine for setting the OOO.
I deleted my account several times and reset it and I can get all my Mail back just fine but OOO still doesn't work correctly. I wanted to try to change the server settings but Mail doesn't allow you to do that for auto connect Exchange accounts.
Because of this (and my concern with reported issues with updating meetings), I switched back to Outlook 2011 until these bugs get ironed out. This is too bad because I love the notifications feature for Apple's programs.
I'm running on a 2014 13" MacBook Pro.

Free/Busy availability and Out of Office not working after Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010

We just migrated from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010 as an intermediate step before we get to Exchange 2013. I want to make sure everything is working OK before we start the migration to Exchange 2013.
The users have Outlook 2010, and there are 2 issues. They can't view free/busy times for other people using the scheduling assistant, and they can't set their Out of Office messages. If they go in through Outlook Web Access, then these features
work!
I've searched the forums, and I see a few similar issues, but I don't think this is related to the .Net issue on the CAS server.
Any suggestions?

Hi Kent,
Try checking the free busy info Outlook 2010 with running /cleanfreebusy switch
Check the Free/Busy System Public Folder and pointed out to the correct server on each mailbox DB in Exchange 2010
Find the public folder replica database
get-publicfolder -Identity "\NON_IPM_SUBTREE\SCHEDULE+ FREE BUSY" -Recurse | fl name,Replicas
In E2k10 check if the exchange 2003 is added in the replica list. If not try adding them and check.
force Public folder content replication.

Microsoft office not working after upgrade to Mountain Lion

Since I've upgraded my macbook pro to the latest software my microsoft office is no longer working. Message says it is no longer supported. Version was 2004 I think but it was working fine. Don't have access to any discs at the moment as they are in shipping with the rest of our stuff coming back to the uk from NZ. Can't open existing documents and doesnt convert downloaded docs into pages either. Any ideas anyone? I'm job hunting so pretty frustrating and urgent.

Right 2004 office doesn't work with Lion or Mountain Lion.

I have just installed microsoft office for mac, but when i try to use word etc the welcome screen pops up but i cant click continue. The colour wheel spins next to my cursor and i cant use the toolbar at the top of the screen. Any ideas?

Mac Office not working after migration

I just migrated my applications and other items from my old PowerBook G4 running Tiger onto my new MacBook Pro. I was able to open all the applications for Mac Office on my new MacBook Pro but for some reason I cannot open the same applications on my old PowerBook anymore. It is telling me the same user is using the applications and I need to review the licensing agreement. Can I open the applications again on my old Powerbook?

My Hp Printer does not work.

I have been struggling with the HP in our office not working, and actually blocking other computers from access.
We have 4 terminals all connected via a NetGear Router. For over 6 years we have also had a Samsung printer on this network, there have been no errors, or trials with printing.
April 2013 We purchased aLaserJet Pro 400 Color MFP M475dn printer and hooked it up to this network after installing it on all 4 systems.
Details of our experience are as follows:
- loaded the drivers on the Network and installed on each computer
- we could only print from 2 Computers, 2 were not able to print on the HP
- if 1 computer sent a test page to print and it did not print, then no computers were able to print over the network.
- Deleted documents in Print spooler on each computer.
-opened Services.msc - reset print spooler on each computer.
- This did not work very well. some of the computers deleted the documents waiting to print imediatly, others I had to restart the computer over and over again. - I can't remember how many times I have had to do this with all 4 computers.
-restored default on HP, many times, this did not clear the documents waiting to print.
- Spent hours talking to HP support personal, - case number was 4706227492 given to me by "Prya" - last one was July 2013 "Ronald" (email address is; [email protected])
- performed "PING" tests from each computer all were successful.
-I went through this process for hours over and over again. then one day it seemed to be okay and we could print from all computers again.
- This continued until 10 days ago, we are having the same problems we had when we first purchased the printer, our warrenty runs out next month and guess what? we can no longer use this printer.
-I printed this solution, followed the directions, nothing helped, as of today, the printer has been removed from every computer in our office, it has been disconected from the NetGear.
- I would like to have some assistance in this matter that offers some form of resolution that would possibly keep me from having to go through this process again in 6 months.
- I need help.

Microsoft Office 2013 is not working on Windows 8

I downloaded Microsoft office 2 days ago. Since then Window 8.1 update has basically attempted to ruin my life. Since I attempted to download the update (which will not download properly no matter how many times I try) Microsoft office will not
open on my computer. All the apps are still there. But they simply will not open. I have tried going to the start and typing the stuff in safe mode, still nothing happens! Can someone please help me? I am beyond frustrated with my brand new computer,

Did only the Office suits not open or all the apps after you upgrading to Windows 8.1? Please do the following tests to narrow down the issue:
First test:
If only the Office suits could not be opened, please go to Office 2013 installed folder, such as C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office15 and double click apps to open them.
If all the apps could not be opened, please press win+R and copy the path:
%windir%\explorer.exe shell:::{4234d49b-0245-4df3-b780-3893943456e1} to Windows 8 app folder double click apps to open them.
If they are both opened in folder, please try to unpin and repin apps on start screen.
If they still do not work, do the second test.
Second test:
If only the Office suits could not be opened, please try to re-install the Office 2013 to test.
If all the apps could not be opened, Please follow these steps to check the issue.
Step 1: Try App troubleshooter:
