MSPT/MACM status at network header - Missing Parts

I have a query with regards to how the MSPT(missing parts) status is set/unset at the network header level.
My question is why is the Missing Part status set to INACTIVE at the Network Header level when several components have the Missing Part indicator set.
The MACM status is set as ACTIVE instead at the network header level.

Dear Chandra shekar,
check for the production order type and plant combination in OPJK for business function 1 - material availability check during order
creation for the check box - check material availability during order creation and likewise for business function 2 - material
availability during order release and the setting for release material .
Kindly make the required setting after discussing with your PP consultant and go ahead.

  • Different user status profile for network header and activities

    Hi everyone!
Is there any way to define different user status profile at network header level and at network activity level? As far as I know, it is only possible to enter a user profile at network type level, and both netwok headers and activities use the same statuses. Does it work this way?
    Thanks!
    Regards.

    Hi Punith, Hi abdul!
    Thanks for the reply!
I've gone through the OPSC, but the thing is that here you define a user status profile at network plant level. But I need to define it at network activity level.
The reason why I need this is because we have types of activities. We use network activities for client activities, for internal activities, to identify and follow-up risk management, etc. Each group of activities -since they have different usages- has different user status associated. But as I don't have any way to assign different user status profiles, all the activities have the same statuses, although  they will only use some of them.
    Thanks!
    Regards,
    Thalos.

  • Autmatic upadate of status of missing parts in production order

    Dear Gurus,
In production order to check missing parts status we have to click on push button for check for material availability. Is there any way available to update the latest material position in production order automatically?
    Regards,
    SAP CONS

    Dear ,
This can be set at Order Control in OPJK .
You can goto OPJK-Select order type , plant and indicator 1(Availablity Check ) -Here Do not mark No Check check box  and Mark material availablity check while saving .Keep the Collective Conversion indicator as 1-User decides based on if material is  missing parts .

  • Network header gets status Confirmation automatically

    Hello Friends,
I have  one network, and three activities.
When i release / Procure/ GI and then try to Confirm the acitivity, then immedialty the Netw Head gets the Status "Conf" Auto.
Then for the other 2 activities i am unbale to do confirmation, what needs to be done such that network header should not confirm auto
    RamananPV

    Hi Ramanan,
This is happening bcause for your network activities, confirmation is not mandatory. You look for the settings in the control key of your activity - Transaction :OPSU.
Please check the entry against "confirmation". In all likelihood it will be blank - means, confirmation is optional. So when you confirm any one activity, the system really doesn't know whether any more confirmations are due, and hence confirm the whole network. By opting for "confirmation "requied" in this field , this problem can be overcome. This is not an error, but standard behaviour of the system.
SAP Note:148654 gives a thorough explanation of this. I quote the relevant portions of the note below:
    Quote begins:
    "Symptom
Although open activities, that is, not yet confirmed activities exist in the network, the system sets the status of the network header to 'Finally confirmed' after the first final confirmation.
    Other terms
    CN25, confirmation, status
    Reason and Prerequisites
    Definition:
The status of the network header is always set to 'Finally confirmed' if all activities requiring confirmation are finally confirmed.
If indicator 'Confirmation' is valuated with BLANK in Customizing for the control key of an activity, this means that a confirmation is indeed possible but not required.
If all activities of the network are set like this, then the system sets the status of the network header after the first final confirmation to 'Finally confirmed', since the system cannot decide whether additional confirmations are entered or not (since the confirmation is not required).
Nevertheless, additional confirmations can be entered (despite of 'Final confirmation' in the network header) if the confirmation parameters are changed correspondingly (see block 'Selection' in the parameter screen - Confirmed ops).
If you require a different system response, you must change the control key correspondingly (for example, to confirmation is obligatory). In this case, the status of the network header is only set to 'Finally confirmed' when all activities requiring confirmation are finally confirmed"
    Quote ends.
Hope this addresses the problem and resolve the issue. If so, kindly acknowledge the same.

  • Missing Part list for Plant to Plant Purchase order

    Hi,
I need the following requirement in CO24,
In CO24 its shows the missing parts for Sales order, similarly we want the missing parts list for Plant to Plant Purchase order in the same report. Also the report,
1.It  should not consider the Planned order for a sales order.
2.It should not consider the planned order which can be convert into purchase requisition.
3.The procurement type should be "E" or "X".
Kindly guide me is there any standard layout changes in available or any development we have to do.
    Thanks
    Muthamil Murugan.G

    Hi Purushothaman,
If you have the following settings in OPJK:
    Plant                 XXXX
    Order Type       XXXX
    Availability Check    2
    [X]Status Check
[X]Check material availability when saving order (may not need)
Checking Rule        PP PP checking rule
    Component Check Type    ATP check
Release material     2  Release permitted despite missing parts
Then in COHV you try to mass release the order with the following parameter:
    List: Order Header
    Selection: Your selection criteria
    Mass processing:
    Function: Release
    Max. No.of Processes 99
    Save Log: Always
Release control order: Collective Order Release
Then after the order is released, you can find the missing part list of that order in CO03 menu path:
    Goto->Missing Parts->Missing parts list
    Hope it helps.

  • CO27 - Missing part indicator (Urgent)

    Hi All,
In CO27, i find for a few materials, the missing part indicator has been ticked, while for a few materials it is not. I would like to know how is this indicator being set by the system. Because for the parts which i do not seen the indicator ticked, are not available at the moment in stock & hence i believe this indicator should be ticked. Kindly let me know where all i should check.
    Vivek

    Dear Vivek
    1st question
If no ava check  is not ticked and status check is ticked.
System will check availability of material when released and saved. Then after this if the MAT not available  status NMAT you can see in the header. Once it is register, system will check the availability every time you saved till you will get the status with out NMAT. In case NMAT is not there during release and after that there was some problem with the material stock and let us say stock is reduced, then actually material is not available, but in production order Since NAMT is not there system will not check the material availability.
In your case since you are checking the ava in background , if you want the system to check all orders with or without NMAT then don’t tick-status check.
In this case system load will increase as system has to check all the orders.
2.Please do not mistake this tick. This is applicable for HALB material, and not for Raw material.
If you have HALB material and it is having stock of 10, production orders for this halb material lets say 2 prod orders released (qty 10 each) and 3 are not released(qty 10 each).
    Then ava qty will be
I leave Production orders field blank = 10
(ii) when i consider only released production orders = 10+10*2=30
    (iii) when i consider all production orders = 1010*210*3 = 60
If you are taking raw material, this tick has not relevant
    your 3rd question -
Ava check if material consists of 2 things
checking rule - defined for a transaction - PP for production order, A is for sales order, B is for delivery etc.
Checking group - what you define in material master 01/02/CH.
Combination of above checking rule and checking group will fix the scope of check.
Hence in OPJJ, you need to give checking rule and checking group both.
as per understanding 01 will not change to 02 as in that plant 01 is fixed if it is in material master.
    Please come back if required
If you want I will send you the preliminary document to understand what is AVA check if required.

  • Overview Missing Parts

    Hi All,
In a production order there is an Overview for missing parts.  It has information like committed quantity and committed date.  We are looking for a standard SAP report that would give us this information by production order and material instead of having to look at each production order individually.  Although we are not new to SAP, the PP and manfacturing part of SAP is new to us.  Any help would be appreciated.  We are familiar with transactions like COOIS, ect.  But when getting into the detail of the Production orders the reports are more scarce.
    Thanks,
    Mark

    Dear,
In COOIS report you can filter your report with system status "MSPT". It will give you all list of material with system status "MSPT". Also you can use report CO24 which is "missing part info system"
    Hope it helps you.

  • Missing Parts for all Orders

Is there a single report which gives missing parts list for all orders with due allocation of components as per the order dates?

    Dear,
Missing parts information we can see in CO24 tcode.
    In COHV or COMAC.
    in mass processing gtab page
select function = material availability check, execute it.
    In selection tab page
    Plant
    Order type
    System status - MSPT.
    Or,
COOIS : Production Order Information System
Under this transaction you need to Select in List option as Components and then go on Selection Tab

  • Missing parts issue

    Hi Experts,
While relasing the prodcution order, getting missing parts list pop up.
but all the required materials are available in stock.
My order status is CRTD, MACM, RELR.
while doing the availability check, the system showing past receipts taken into account.
    Please explain.
    Thanks,

    Hi,
Please check the details error log as per the screen shot for release.
You will get idea. Generally if stock is there availability will not fail.
It is also important what type of stock you have now. Please check OPJJ and see whether that type of stock is allowed in scope of check.

  • Packing Status at Delivery Header

We are in the process of creating a form that will include the details of the all delivery items packed on a handling unit. We want the output to be triggered automatically when the delivery has been completely packed.
We created a requirement to look at the packing status at delivery header level.  There is a packing status field (VBUK-PKSTK) at delivery header level  and packing status (VBUP-PKSTA) at item level.
We did not expect the delivery header level header to change to "C" until all item were "C".  However, the header level field changes to "C" when the first item on the delivery is packed.  I
I looked through the SAP Notes to see if there was something there to address this, but could not find anything.
I then searched the forums and found a message from 2007 saying that you must configure item categories with "must be packed" in order for this to work. I know we do not want to configure our system that way.  We have many sites and most do not use handling units.
However, before I have my developer add code to check all statuses at item level prior to triggering an output, I want to make sure this is what has to be done.  And I have not missed a note to correct this.
    Thanks in advance.

    HI,
Go to transaction "SE16N" and enter table "VBUK" and give the delivery number in the field sales document number. Now you type "&SAP_EDIT" in the transaction bar and execute. Here you can change the status(Total goods movement). And see If you can actually bill the document. Kindly please let me know If you need any more information on this.

  • Missing parts for Process orders

    Hi Experts,
We are trying to find out the Transaction to faciltate the Missing parts list for the process order even after the order has been completed having the Status TECO, CLSD. This is to understand whether proper enough materials are consumed for the order or not. Based on that Production incharge can ensure the component consumption is made as per the Process order requirement.
We are trying with CO24, this is showing the missing parts list if order does not contain TECO and CLSD status.
Also we are checking with COOISPI, COID, but could find the correct feature out of them.
Do we need to develop any customized report with the help ABAPers. If yes please guide us the method.
Please help us in acheiving the list of components which are not consumed as per the Process order requirement.
Also guide us to identify the list of materials which are excess consumed for the Process order.
    Thanks in advance..

    Hi Jiaul,
Thank you very much for your reply.
So we need to develop the program to flag the missing parts and its qty even after the Order has the status TECO or CLSD.
Can you please provide logic to develop the Program.
I am thinking to take the inputs from process order required qty Vs withdrwan qty. if the Qty difference is positve, which should come under missing parts. if the difference is still negative means excess qty consumed.
    Waiting for suggestions
    Thanks in advance

  • Missing Parts List While creating Prd. Order

    Hi Friends,
My client is creating production Orders Manually thru CO01and While Creating & Saving The Production Order System Is Not Supporting In Giving  Missing Parts list In spite Of Deficit of Un Restricted stock inStorage Location For BOM components used in that Order.
To my surprise when the defisit is for all the BOM components only one component is showing as missing part in missing parts list.
But While confirming the order The system is showing missing parts for all the components which are defisit for order confirmation.
I Tried To Get This From the Following Method
Checked For Define checking control In OPJK.
Selected plant, Order type & selected the business function 1 for create or 2 for release. And Maintained These Settings
    a) Removed tick mark in No Availability check.
    b) Type of component check Given as - ATP check.
    c) Material release - 1. User decides on release if parts are missing.
    d) PP Checking rule (Which Is same As with plant parameter OPPQ)
    e) In Define scope of check (OPJJ) made a tick mark in check w/o RLT.
Then Assigned the availability checking group at Mrp View of Header material.

    Hi,
Please check same checking rule use in Material master and with order type and plant?
Check the cheking group in material master MRP3 view for all material.
Go to Transection OPJJ - Maintain scope of check,
Select your Checking rule which you have assing to your order type and tick INLCUDE RESERVATION.
(1). CO24- Missing Parts Information System
Under this transaction you choose Selection from Reservations and then select Plant & Material then you can get Missing Parts List for your respective material without production / planned order also.
(2). COOIS : Production Order Information System
Under this transaction you need to Select in List option as Components and then go on Selection Tab.
    For collective availability check use
COHV - Excute the roport w ith collective avaliabilty check.
    COMAC.
    Hope this help.

  • Missing part for planned order-reg

    Hi,
I want to see missing parts list against planned orders. I checked through MDVP but it shows all components as missing parts eventhough stock is available.
Is there any way to see this.
    Regards
    Karthik

    Dear Karthikeyan,
In general Availability check is done at production order level and rarely in REM scenario's this check is
carried out at planned order level.
Because planned order's are a proposal, which may/may not be converted into a production order.
At planned order level you carry out an ATP check and its based on the checking group, checking
    rule,and the scope of check.
So check the config settings in OPJJ particularly for the scope of check.
Here the check box -->check without RLT plays a vital role.
once after carrying out ATP,the system shows the committed quantity, say if the order is for 100 and
suppose if the raw materials are available only for making 20 means then after making ATP check in the
planned order header you can see an additonal field called commited quantity below the order quantity.
Check in MD12 for an individual planned order and it works based on the availability check value
    assigned in the material master.

  • Ability to change Network Header Number

    Hi
Can someone please tell me if there is a way to change the network header number (regardless of the status).  I am looking initially for something similar to how you can change the project definition (field is open) or an appropriation request where you follow the menu path in Ima2n (environment > settings > apropn request number modifiable).
At present, once you create the NWH, the number field (AUFNR) is greyed out.  There does not appear to be a switch in IMG so I was wondering if there is business txn similar to PSNC ( WBS element number change)  that is available for Network headers.  Or perhaps there is a program that allows this.
The issue is that we create networks with a manual external number that holds the project number (ie project being A-A12345. we would then create the network number as N-AA12345).  As this is a manual process, user error is becoming an increasing issue.
    Thankyou

    Hi Virendra
Thankyou for your suggestion. I will try the exit
PSNC is a business status via txn BS22 (system status).
As to per your last comment - the explanation is that the business decided that they wanted the NW number to reflect the project number rather than a unrelated number range which we had previously used.
