    My account has been restricted from selling for quite some time and I have a whole shell of items to sell and I also has been spending a lot of money from my pocket to get the items mailed to customers on time when my account was in good standard I do not like calling Ebay because they are never helpful and always have some kind of silly answers which is not suitable for the seller. I like to get back to selling on ebay and get rid of my stocks. I do have other buyers sending me there emails asking me where is my shop. Please if someone can help or assist me I would really appreciate it. Feel free to email me at anytime if you have any questions for me.

    It looks like the restrictions are there because you got into arguments with buyers who then left you negative feedback and low DSRs for Communication and Shipping Time. There may have been other quarrels that did not result in negs but did give you low DSRs. While it is not true that the customer is always right, there is no point in winning battles and losing wars. Did you have a couple of bad weeks and take your frustrations out on your customers? Are Bollywood aficionados particularly fussy? When your seller account is reinstated, be polite to your buyers. Allow returns for refund. If someone complains about quality, right or wrong, the only useful answer is 'Return for full refund'.And when you get that return, refund.This is of course tricky in your category, because it is easy to buy a CD, copy it to another device and then return it. Sigh. It doesn't help to call your buyers thieves. Remember new customers will read your feedback. Other sellers won't nor will they read the feedback left for buyers. Both the negs and the DSRs will eventually age out, but that could take up to 12 months.Don't give up on Customer Service.But don't keep nagging at them. Call once a month, and ask how long it will be before you can be reinstated.  As time goes on, you can up that to once a week. And always be polite.

    I have the same issue as many of you.  My account was hacked back in June/2012 by Chinese callers, who rang up a lot of calls, draining my credit, and recharging a couple times before I discovered it.  Then, when I contacted paypal, and Skype, the account was suspended.  The credit that I had on my account was never refunded, although paypal did replace my cc charges within a day, maybe less.
    I tried to reset my account, but was unable to. The verification questions seemed to be random, not ones I chose myself, because I couldn't answer them correctly, at least according to the verification site.
    I decided to forget about Skype, but after getting Windows 8.1, and looking at the icon continually, decided to try again.  Had a chat session with a skype rep, and was finally able to reset my password, and log in.  But, now the problem.  I'm still restricted, and cannot set up payments to use Skype under my original user name, which I don't want to change, as it's tied to my e-mail account.  Today, I talked to a skype rep again, and she said to post this, and she would take personal responsibility to get this escalated.  This hack issue, as well as freezing the account seems to be punishing the victim, instead of implementing better security, that alerts you to these issues, as well as preventing them in the first place.
    I'm now waiting on Sahara to escalate this issue, and get my account back into my hands to use Skype, which is the whole idea, just to use Skype.   HEEEELLLLLP___________

    Some clarification:
    1. Your account was suspended to protect you from any further asset loss. This is standard practice in cases where an account has been compromised.
    2. They aren't random and can't be chosen by a user.
    3. The first step in starting the unblocking process is to change the password of the account you would like to be considered for unblocking and to confirm here that you have done that.
    4. Not at all. Because the only way that an account can be hacked is by the hacker knowing or guessing your password, Skype always encourages users to use strong passwords. It is a user's responsibility to protect their own account.
    5. Please keep us updated on progress.

    Hello, I have had this meassage at the top of my account for 3 days now:
    "You are currently restricted from purchasing services or redeeming vouchers. Please contact Customer Support to review your account status."
    I have submitted the online verification form twice and spoken with online chat support twice. I have my support ID's available if requested.
    Here's the full story. I created a new Skype account on Tuesday as I'm required to have it for my new position at work. I signed up for a 12 month unlimited US calling plan and paid with my Master Card with no issues. I then purchased a 12 month Skype phone number but during checkout it declined my card. I was in a hurry as I had a trainer waiting on me so I just paid with my PayPal account for the number. Unbeknownst to me my credit card company had flagged the 2nd Skype transaction as possible fraud. This was on 6/3/2014. They then processed a charge back for the first transaction for the unlimited US calling plan. Again this was done without my knowledge and not at my request. Once I realized what happened the next day (6/4/14) I contacted my credit card company and resolved the issue on their end. They said the card is good to go and all I need to do is reprocess the transaction. Unfortionatly I can't do that because Skype won't let me. I have contacted Skype everyday and have yet to be able to get the issue resolved meanwhile I am unable to meet my obligations at work as I am unable to contact clients.
    Please Help, I am a legitimate customer who just wants to pay you for your service so I can do my job.

    Really no Mods going to even bother to comment. I'm getting so frustrated with this. What kind of company this size who has a paid service doesn't have a support phone number. I could understand if they didn't offer support to people who only had free accounts but come on this is kind of ridiculous. Live chat keeps telling me 24-48 hours I will get a response. Well last time I checked 4 days was a little more than 48 hours. I've been really nice about all this so far but apparently that doesn't work...

    I would guess this is  an AIM valid Screen Name such as an Apple issued @mac.com account.
    I would also guess you travel to other countries.
    There have been several posts about @mac.com names and people who travel and use their Screen Name elsewhere having the name Suspended.
    Can you Log in here  https://settings.aim.com/ ?
    Is this where you saw the Suspended message ?
    For AIM issued name the answer is to change your Password as this tends to prove you own the account.
    This does not work for Apple IDs used as  AIM Valid Screen Names as AIM can't tell when the password is changed (They can only see it when you log in)
    AIM's Suspended Account page has an email ([email protected]) on it to contact if your account remains Suspended.
    However you need to be very clear that you have an Apple Issued Name and that you know that resetting the password that works for AIM Names and that you would like them to reset the account.
    More recently this has been a sticking point.  It seems the Contact you get does not always know about the agreement that AIM recognises Apple Issued IDs as Valid Screen Names and that the AIM  servers can only view the passwords at specific times (or at least confirm them) so you changing it will make no difference and that they have to step in manually.

    I am about to pull my hair out. My itunes account has been disabled............or at least that's what it says everytime I want to update my apps....I can't do it. Then it sends me to a useless web address www.apples.com/itunes/storesupport/forassistance it never helps me. I've changed my password, etc. But I can't get my apps updated or the "Apple" in the sky to fix it...I don't know where to go for customer service....Any suggestions?

    I updated the software on my iphone4 tonight and ran into this same endless loop - "itunes terms & conditions have been changed" - go to itunes, aceept - back to the "T&C have been changed message" with no ability to do anything in the app store until I accepted the new terms.
    While not a very direct solution, I was able to finally accept the terms in a way that seem to register with apple by making a purchase through iTunes on my computer. This forced me through updating my payment information and updating my iTunes software to the latest edition (which I had not yet taken the time to do).  After doing both of these, iTunes took me through the terms & conditions on two separate pages, but ultimately allowed me to purchase my song.  Once I completed these steps, it fixed the problem on my phone, so now I can update my apps and download new ones without running into that loop.

    My Apple ID account has been disabled. Whenever I try to login to my account to update apps on my mac or iPhone, I get a message that my account has been disabled.  If I try to reset my account, I am told to enter the Recovery Key from my two-factor authentication setup.  While I do have two-factor authentication on, I never saved the recovery key.  A few days ago I called Apple Support and they eventually told me that the account would be unlocked unlocked after 8 hours, and then I could try my password again.  This is obviously not the case.
    I'm trying to figure out my next steps. Obviously Apple can't reset my account over the phone.  However, the website seems to indicate that I will have to create a new account. Is there a way I can prove I am the owner of my account?  Like if I brought my macbook and/or iPhone into the Apple store, would they be able to verify my account/identity and open my account?  Also, if I needed a new account, would I be able to transfer my purchases over from my old one?

    I doubt the Apple store could do anything.  They would end up calling Apple support too.  If you called support and they agreed to unlock the account but haven't, call them back.
    Apple officially states that purchases are permanently tied to the Apple ID used to purchase them and can't be transferred.  You would have to ask if they could/would do this under the circumstance.
