My CS6 will not install- Says serial number is invalid.

I've owned this software for over a year and it has never given me problems but all of the sudden, Adobe seems to have signed me out and wanted my serial number. I entered it and it said it was invalid when I entered it in correctly. I have uninstalled the software and factory reset my Mac. I downloaded the CS6 again and entered my serial number to install and it still said it was invalid. Please help.

HaydenD0009 I am sorry that you have faced a difficult experience with our support team.  It is likely we are receiving higher volumes with many schools starting their fall term.
I checked your account and it appears that you do have a valid serial number for Master Collection CS6 under your account.  You can find details on how to locate the serial number under your account at Find a serial number - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html.
If this is the serial number which you have been entering previously then it is likely you are facing either a file permission issue or corruption of the licensing files.  This is what is giving you the invalid serial number message.  To resolve these difficulties I would recommend the following steps:
Run all available Adobe installers located in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder.

    Get their phone number from their main web pages (start by clicking the red Adobe icon on this page).  Look for Contact Us links.  The phone numbers don't jump out and shout at you but neither are they hidden.
    When you get Customer Support on the phone, describe what you've been through and ask them nicely to make BOTH your allowed activations available to you once again.

    Hello, and thanks for reading.
    I am a new network admin in a silicon valley school district. I come from a Windows background and I am picking up the Mac pretty well. I was asked by the support team to install Apple Remote Desktop 3 on my MacBook Pro running 10.8.4 to help people with our Outlook / Exchange deployment.
    This will not install no matter what. I have been trying for a total of about 5 hours so far. 4 different disk, 4 licenses, 3 of which are capped at 10 and 1 is unlimited. There are plenty of licenses available still. I have removed every bit of ARD off from the original install and just tried again. I am at my wit's end here. I am spending more time tryin to help others than I am doing anything else. Teach me to be a nice guy.
    Anyway, if anyone has a brilliant idea of what I am missing I am definitely willing to listen and follow. Than

    First, confirm that the licence codes and the disks you were given are indeed for ARD 3. Most school districts will have a lot of old stuff floating around, so it's quite possible that you were actually given the license code or disks for ARD 2.x or even ARD 1. A license code for ARD 3 should, I believe, always begin with XARD-030-, and of course an ARD 3 disk should say so.
    And I presume you're installing through a user account that has administrator privileges, correct?

  • Creative Suite 6 Design and Web Premium will not Reinstall: Says Serial Number is not "Valid"

    Chat support has been no help.  I uninstalled Creative Suite 6 because I was having issues with some of the software and hoped that a reinstall would solve the problem.  Now the software will not reinstall.  It takes me to the validation screen where it asks for the serial number and says "We are unable to validate this serial number for CS6 Design and Web Premium.  Please contact customer service," when i type the serial number in.  I have now gone through THREE chat sessions with "customer support" in which they have sent me a link to download the same program, and it would not reload because of the serial number, and then have walked me TWICE through a multitude of tasks that have not solved the problem.  They keep asking me the same questions again and again, ignore my own questions to them, and cannot give me any information that actually helps.  The phone system will not support Creative Suite.  I NEED this software to reload as I've already missed one publishing deadline and will miss another if I cannot use this software, which, at the moment, seems to be a $350 coaster.
    This is the same disc I used to install the software originally.  I installed it on my old laptop and used it there without incident until my new laptop came (a period of about two months).  I then Uninstalled the software from the old lap top and installed it on the new one, again, without incident.  When I found that the icons for switching between tools in Photoshop and Illustrator were so small I could not see them, and they seemingly could not be adjusted within the program, I uninstalled the software, and at this point is when the software would not reinstall on the same computer it was on in the first place.  My software is official, on a physical disc, and registered to my account with Adobe.  What do I do?  I just opened this press five months ago, and I cannot justify a Creative Cloud membership with the amount of work I'm actually putting out at the moment, and especially not with the terrible customer service I have been receiving so far.
    Please help.

    If you never deactivated, and neither did they, then that is likely to be a reason for not being able to activate again.  Contact them thru chat and ask them to reset your activations.

    Could be a counter feit card, but most likely you are reading/entering it wrong. Anyhow, the iTS can sort it out, though you may have to scan in the back of the card and send it in:

    I have a Dell XPS M1530, laptop.  I installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 on my computer in March, and  the program worked correctly.  I had Windows Vista on my computer.  I just did a clean installation of Windows 7 to replace Vista.  I cannot reinstall Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 because Adobe installation will not accept my serial number.  Adobe tech support tells me my serial number is for version 6.0 of Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe no longer supports version 6.0..Please give me advice on how to install.

    My computer crashed and I reinstalled CS5 from the download sight. I have a license for two computers which was installed on two iMac computers. The one iMac crashed and I could not get in my hard drive, so I purchased a MacBook Pro. I called Adobe and they gave me a case number 0215153209 along with the web sight to download the software and my serial number of the product. I downloaded the product but it will not accept the serial number. I wonder, since I had it installed on two computers and I was unable to delete the software from the computer that crashed that it thinks I'm trying to load it on a third computer? I do I over come this?

    Stephene30094839 I reviewed the serial numbers you offered in case 0215153209 and they both have activations remaining.  What specific error message are you receiving when installing Creative Suite 5?  If you are receiving the error message that the serial number is invalid then can you provide a bit more history?  You indicated an iMac crashed and you could not get into your hard drive and then bought a MacBook Pro.  Were any files or folders transferred from the iMac to the MacBook Pro?

    I was having many crashing issues on CS5.5 with Yosemite so I decided to download the trial again and reinstall. Now after the install, it will not take my serial number, even though it is listed in my adobe account history. HELP!!!!!
    Also, everytime I try and open a file in photoshop cs5, it crashes. I get a GPU warning sometimes as well in Yosemite.

    you can try to login to Root user account and then run the cleaner tool , and then check.
