Once the Device is asking to be Restored with iTunes... it is too late to save anything...
To minimise loss... Connect to iTunes on the computer you Usually Sync with and Restore from the most recent Backup...

I can not use the phone at all. It is frozen on the iTunes and USB screen. iTunes is not recognizing the phone as connected either. What do I need to do to fix it.
Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer with Lightning Cable. Hold both home and power buttons for about 20 seconds until iTunes recognizes the iPhone in Recovery Mode. Click the Restore button of iTunes. If there are any problems with this, you have 1 year Warranty with Apple. Make Genius reservation or set up service and take or send to Apple for resolution.

Try updating my ipad 2, pop up with error 1602 and now my ipad is stuck with the itune and USB icon on the screen. I tried to restart it, but screen still comes up the same.

plugged in brand new ipad that is still showing the 'itunes' and usb lead as a sign to connect to itunes before it will even start up and my computer is detecting the Apple IPAD 2 camera but Itunes is not picking it up? whats going wrong?
If you're really trying to use Windows 2000, then that's the problem. As you'll see on the box, you need at least XP/SP3.

i want to buy an ipod shuffle online, and so when i went to the compare section, it said that the earphones, usb cable and the ipod itself would be included in the box. however, when i went to the store and cart section, they suggested that i buy both the earphones and usb cable? are they included in the rm169 price tag? if not, are they necessary for the ipod shuffle? thanks in advance to anyone who is able to help me out here
You can click the Store button top left of this page, then iPod and go to the information on the Shuffle to seew what is included in the box. If Apple says the earphones and cable are not included then they must be purchased separately. You need the cable to sync music, and the earphones to hear since the Shuffle does not have a speaker.

Have you tried to restore the iPad back to factory settings from within the Setting App? You might also try and hard "reset" by holding the power button and the home button at the same time until the iPad 2 restarts.
Besides that, find a friend with a computer and try to update it from their comptuer, or if it is close and convenient go to the Apple Store and they will be able to help you. -

Your iPhone is in recovery mode, You need to connect to iTunes in order to recover your phone. Once you do that, you will not have to connect it into your itunes again.

i have a 3g iphone and tried to upgrade it last night and its is now frozen with a picture of the itunes logo and a usb cable on the screen and that it is it . I can do nothing with it . "Error 1604: This error is often related to USB timing. Try changing USB ports, uninstalling and reinstalling USB ports, and other available USB troubleshooting steps (troubleshooting USB connections, device not recognized properly, computer won't recognize a FireWire or USB device). If you are using a dock, bypass it and connect directly to the white Apple USB dock connector cable. If the issue persists on a known-good computer, the device may need service.
If the issue is not resolved by USB isolation troubleshooting, and another computer is not available, try these steps to resolve the issue:
Connect the device to iTunes, confirm that the device is in Recovery Mode. If it's not in Recovery Mode, put it into Recovery Mode.
Restore and wait for error 1604.
When prompted, click OK.
Close and reopen iTunes while iPhone remains connected.
iPhone should now be recognized in Recovery Mode again.
Try to restore again.
If the steps above do not resolve the issue, try restoring using a known-good USB cable, computer, and network connection."
