My iPod broke, but since I had a waranty, apple gave me a refreshed one. It is messing up now, and I was wondering if I have to pay to get it fixed? There was a number in the box that they gave to me that said to call if I had any issues. My brothers lost it, though. I'm just worried that if I take it to an apple store, I'll have to pay a lot to fix it. Will I? I don't have the money to right now, and I don't want to waste the gas money to get up there to find out I have to pay. Also, if anyone knows the number that was in the box, could you let me know? Is it just the normal apple one, that is listed here on the website? Thanks for your time. -Makayla

I dropped my iPod the other day and quickly picked it up. It looked fine, but when I tried to use the home button, I found that I had to press much harder to use it. I have a iPhone 5 and about a month ago my lock button stopped working. It takes me about ten tries to power it back on or to lock it. If I'm still in my one year warranty will I have to pay to get it fixed? I didn't purchase apple care though so I'm wondering if it's going to cost me to get it fixed or if it's still covered because of the one year warranty? Thank you!
If it's due to a manufacturing defect, the warranty will cover it. If it's due to accidental damage, it'll cost to get it fixed unless it happened during an authorized repair.

I have Iphone 5S and I never updated from IOS 7.1.2 to IOS 8 and now this morning I noticed that IOS 8.0.1 was available but since it had bugs it was removed, so can anyone tell me if I can update to IOS 8 not 8.0.1 but just IOS 8?

Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc. -

Your apps are stored in your iTunes Library on your computer. If you recover the iPad or purchase a new one just re sync your apps / music etc. -
I'm trying to update an app on my iPod touch but it says that it's unable to download the application at this time. I've tried everything what else can I do to fix this problem??
Try going to Settings>Store and sign out and sign back in.
It also could be due to an Apple server problem. and yu will just have to wait and try again. -

Full price. Warranty covers only manufacturing defects, not you losing the iPod.
Perhaps homeowners insurance of your credit card plan, if you used a credit card to purchase the original iPod, might cover all or part of the cost.

I submitted my question but ran out of room in the box. I can still down load new Apps to my iPod touch AND update them but CAN NOT update the older Apps. that was on the iPod before the problem.
I have been to Three Apple Service Center stores - In Tulsa OK, Oklahoma City OK, Tacoma WA and NO ONE could tell me what is the problem OR what to do to correct it. The Tech then tells me to get hold of the main Apple Service Center number. I tell them I already have and they still recommend going to them.
I have erased all information and started over as a new iPod Touch but the problem persists.
I have called the Apple Service number and they tell me to do everything that the the Tech's at the Apple Service center stores tried to do but DID NOT work.
After I spend a lot of time on the phone, I get told to make an appointment at a Apple Service center store so they can physically have hands on assistance. Come on folks I have already done that and they were of no help. When I say that, I get told that may be the only way I can get the problem resolved.
Surely there is someone out there that knows something about what is happening OR not happening with my iPod and provide a solution.

I HAD TO RELOAD ITUNES TO MY DELL XP PC TODAY, AS DELL TECHS REBOOTED MY COMPUTER THE OTHER DAY AND I LOST SEVERAL PROGRAMS, INCLUDING ITUNES. NOW, THAT I HAVE DONE THIS~I CAN'T FIND "ALL" THE MUSIC I HAD IN ITUNES THAT I LOADED OR THE NUMEROUS SONGS THAT I HAVE LOADED OVER THE YEARS.
