My ipod just shows the apple logo and won't do anything...won't even shut off. Anyone knows what may be going on Here? I just plugged it in to recharge it and now nothing.
I plugged in my ipod to recharge it and for some reason, it just stopped and only the apple logo is showing. I may have unplugged it before it was done, not even sure at this point but now only the apple logo and I can't even shut it off. Any ideas of what I can try now? Thanks much.
Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for 10 to 15 seconds and see if it then reboots - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a computer reboot. If that doesn't work then you might better help in the iPod forum (this is the iPad forum)

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Once the Device is in Recovery Mode... it is too late to save anything...
To minimise loss... after the successful Recovery... Restore from the most recent Backup...

My daughter Nano just shows the apple logo and that is it can'y do anything with it.

Apple TV hanged and is now just showing the apple logo
Guys,
My aTV2 just hanged.
I tried a reset but now she is hanged on the boot and is now just showing the Apple Logo.
I tried another reset by pressing Menu+Down but again now I'm back on the boot and just showing the Apple Logo.
aTV2 LED is blinking.
Any idea on how to do this?

If so, get a micro USB cable, hook it up to a computer with that cable alone, fire up iTunes and do a restore of the AppleTV firmware. -

Last night I turned my iPod touch 4g off randomly and then when I went to turn it back on and went to unlock the screen it froze up right there and will not unlock to the home screen to where all my apps and all that are. Ever since that happened the iPod keeps showing the apple logo repeatedly, as well as a screen being completely blank when still turned on. Also when i plug in the iPod to the computer it recognizes it for a second but the iPod does nothing and shuts off and repeats in showing the apple logo and blank black screen. I can get it to the home screen where the slide to lock button is but every time i even attempt to slide it, it freezes up and doesn't do it.
I also having been trying to restore it by plugging in the cord and pressing the home button to get the screen with the usb cord to pop up but no matter what i do, it will not let me turn the iPod off period because every time i keep trying to do that it just shows the apple logo and all of what i said up above again. I have also seen it get a white screen to show a few times , which i assume means the white screen of death. I have never seen that screen before this happened.
I know this is not making any sense whatsoever but this is very hard to put into words in explaining. I have searched the internet but i can't find a single problem that sounds like this one in solving to fix it. The iPod is on right now as i'm typing this. I haven't attemtped to push the buttons down again to fix as i would assume maybe to just leave it alone as i sleep through the night in hopes of it maybe working or even dying. If you can help me facetime me at [email protected] or msg me.It would help to know whether it ever did work, or is this a new iPad for you? If new, you need to connect it to a Mac/PC that's running iTunes in order to register and initialize it. If it used to work, try doing a reset.
