My iTunes account was charged for a download I didn't make, using credit in the account. My credit card was not involved. Can I get a refund from Apple? How?

    Most of the people on these forums, including myself, are fellow users - you're not talking to iTunes Support here.
    Runkeeper, like a number of other apps, allows in-app purchases to be made in them. If you don't want to be able to make them then you can turn them off on your device via Settings > General > Restrictions > In-App Purchases 'off'. Some also allow in-app auto-renewing subscriptions : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4098
    In terms of a refund, you can try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will refund or credit you : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

On the new account I can redeem my gift card and download items onto my ipad2.  Is there any way to move my music to the new account?

    Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
    ☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
    ☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
    ☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
    Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
    View ▹ Show Log List
    from the menu bar.
    Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try the action that you're having trouble with again. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
    When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
    Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

    What exactly is the problem that you are having ? Is it with downloading the iTunes program itself, or redownloading your purchases ?
    If iTunes itself then you can download it from here : http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
    If it doesn't download then have you tried a different browser, and/or tried changing the settings on the browser that you are using e.g. turn off 'pop-up blocker' ?
    If you've installed iTunes and want to download your past purchases, then what you can redownload depends upon what country that you are in, and whether the items are still in your country's store. What you can redownload will show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage :
    But ideally you'd have your own backup copy of all your downloads/library (and not relying on redownloading), a song/album etc could be removed from the store at any time.

    I proceeded to check my downloads on my apple tv because my itunes account told me I had three downloads waiting on it and it started to download rentals I had rented in the previous year.

    Well, apparently its because my dad added Data and I can't even Attempt to make a reservation because data was added to my account... and can't do anything until my next billing cycle this is a bunch of (removed)

  • I was charged for a download that had an error and deleted itself off my library?

    My Ipad was syncing when I decided to do some shopping while I waited. I found a song and purchased it - but before it could finish downloading my internet went weird (it decided it needed a proxy to operate for some reason - I had to switch off that setting before it re-established itself) and I recieved a message that due to inactive internet connection I'd have to resume my download later. Before I could fix my internent it suddenly went from "downloading" to "play" - but when I clicked on it the song wouldn't play. I fixed my internet settings and tried again - same result. Searching it in my Library I found it listed there but with a "!" beside it in a circle indicating there was an error with the song. When my Ipad finished syncing I closed out and reopened the program - now the song is gone. There was a charge done off of the gift card I redeemed so I did purchase it - but when I search it up in the Itunes store it no longer gives me the play option and wants me to buy it again. I can't find it anywhere in my library either. What can I do?

    I tried to purchase an app and when I clicked purchase, if said this app was not compatible with this iPod. So of course I didn't bother downloading it. But then I got an email saying that I did purchase it, and in the store I have the little cloud with an arrow download option, but still it won't let me download it because it'a not the right iPod. Why the heck would I buy an app I can't use? That's ridiculous. How do I get money back for it, I can't use it in any way and didn't want to purchase it after learning that, which was immediately.
    And of course there's no real customer support "community", so sorry if this is the wrong "community".

    I got a reciept for $14.98 for a free app and 2 in-app purchases within the app. I've never seen the app before in my life, and I have never made an in-app purchase either. I NEED to know how to un-buy the app–when I click the "report a problem" button, it just takes me to the front page for the iTunes support website at http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/. How can I remove the purchase and get the money back??? I've already changed my password, so I'm not too woried about being hacked (or whatever happened) again, but I am worried that I just lost 15 bucks. Fortunately, I have no active credit card with my account, so identity theft isn't an issue... I just want my money back.
