My phone is stuck on one screen.
My phone is stuck on the last caller screen. The time is stoppped. I cannot unlock the slide. I have plugged into my computer and it synced. Any fixes?
Hold the screen lock button and the home screen button together for a while and the phone will restart, hopefully fixing the problem, make sure you press the screen lock button before the home screen button tho, otherwise you will just take a screenshot.
(EDIT) Also, ignore it when it brings up the slide to turn phone off slider (thats if it appears) and just keep holding, if your phone doesn't bring that up just keep holding until the phone restarts. Also sometimes the phone won't always turn back on by itself, in which case, do it yourself

how can I keep my data doing a hard recovery on my phone? You shouldn't have to restore your phone to keep your data. But first press home and on button at the same time until phone shows up Apple logo an boots up normally. When the phone comes back on plug into ituens and back it up by selecting "Back Up Now". Once backed up, you can press update and install 7.1.1 and it will restore and recover all your previously backed up data. You can also press "update" and itunes will automtically back up the phoen and install 7.1.1.

When i remotely updated my phone , It restarted it and it was stuck on the booting screen. I pluged it into my computer , And it gave me the option to restore , So I just tried to restart it again and it was stuck in booting screen so i decided better to restore my phone than have a brick , So I plugged it back in to my computer and my computer dosent recognize my phone at all. What can I do?
I was able to fix it by putting my phone in DFU mode by holding the sleep button for 4 seconds , and without realeasing the sleep button holding them both for 12 seconds and then without releasing the home button letting go of the sleep button and holding for 10 seconds or until my computer saw it (My phone was plugged in the entire time)

My iPod is "Stuck" on one screen! How Do I Fix It?
My iPod Nano is stuck on the Screen it looks like when you reset it! I plugged it into my computer to sync it with music and when I took it out, the music was there but it wouldn't play. I tried hitting the fast forward button but then it reset and it still won't come off the screen that has an apple! Basically what I'm seeing is a black screen with the white apple in the middle. Please!! I can still reset the iPod but it still get stuck in the "reset" screen! *+HELP ME+*

iPod shows only an Apple logo and doesn't start up.
Only the Apple logo appears when turned on. -
Last night i was downloading the new update for the Iphone4 on my laptop through Itunes. After the download was done, it was starting to install, and then an error came up and didnt get a chance to check it. Now my Iphone is stuck on the screen with the USB pointing to the Itunes Icon and wont do anything else. Any advice on how to get this fixed, or do i need to go to the Apple store and have them look at it.

Wow I see from the other responses to similar questions that the phone may be jailbroken. I thought I was purchasing an unlocked phone that was legal to use with any system. What a disappointment, I will have to go back to where I purchased this phone and let them have an ear full.

I Have a iphone 4s and can't get the charger to come out...it was hard to get out the time before but i thought it was just me so then i charged it last night tryed taking it out and it is stuck on one side and will not come out...any suggestions on how to get it out?
You will just have to carefully pull harder. Push the other side back in so it is aligned, then pull it straight out.

I know it sound silly but please try these steps, part of the 5Rs
Can you toggle the Hold switch and make sure, you can see the Red plastic.
Then Reset your iPod - Press the Menu and Center button for about 10 secs till the Apple logo comes ON, then release the buttons.

I tried to restore my I Phone today but now its not working. The screen is stuck with the plug in picture, and only allows me to make emergency calls. It says I have no service and I can't use my phone.

I was having syncing issues with my iPhone (an original) and ultimately took the step to restore the factory default settings in an attempt to start over from fresh...iTunes 'sees' the iPhone device and seems to go through all the requisite restore, load, verify steps, but I can't get the iPhone to load the main menu. I continue to get a window that shows a USB Cable pointing to iTunes...I have had 800 call support technicians and genius bar techs look at the problem without result.

My mouse pointer is stuck on one screen of a dual monitor set up.
I recently did a fresh install of lion on my mac, the dual monitors were working on Snow Leopard, but no longer.
Whilst I can see both screens, I cannot move my mouse from one to the other. Nor can I drag windows across the screens.
Help!
Markhave you tried all the edges? you may need to reconfigure your monitors arrangement. to do so go to system preferences displays and then choose arrangement. Then you'll be able to see how the computer thinks you have them and adjust it to the way you want them. Make sure you dont have mirroring on as well (being thorough).

My old iPhone 3GS that I had with no service ,I forgot the passcode. I Tried multiple try's and I never figured it out. I even tried the passcode that was right when i remembered.
So now it is on a screen with a UBS cord and a iTunes logo on it and will not go away . I tried every thing. I love this phone because is and iPod to me.

I can no longer open a new tab in firefox
I cannot open a new tab in firefox. If I click on a link, a new tab opens, but if I use the new tab button or control t nothing happens. I used to be able to open multiple tabs, but suddenly this changed. Can you tell my why?
