My PowerBook was broken when I took it out of box
I bought a PowerBook for my mom for her birthday (I have a 15" and she loves it so I bought her a 12") I waited a week to open it and only opened it before her birthday so that I could install some of the software that I have. To my shock the left side (where the charger plugs in) is dented!! It looks like someone dropped it. I brought it to apple and they said they could do nothing because I cannot prove that it wasn't me who dropped it!! I don't know what to do....$1100 for something that it broken??!! Help me please!!

Have you tried the power button or charging it to see if it was dead? Some batteries die quickly.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

I was using my iphone less then 5 min earlyer full charge in it and its in a protective case. I put it in my pocket and when i took it out it seems the iphone is dead and wont respond to anything!

No. You can't exchange a foriegn iPhone for a U.S. iPhone. You'll have to get it back to China to exchange it, and then only if you have AppleCare+. Physical damage isn't covered under warranty... and IIRC, you can't get APP+ in China.

How can I fix my iphone's sound I plugged it in to my radio and the sound came out fine but when I took it out the volume bar dissapered and ever seince all it says volume not available, but it work with headphones in. What can I do to fix it?
Try reset all settings.
Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings. It won't delete any data. -
I inserted an SD card into my macbook pro and it didnt prompt me that a device was inserted so I took it out. Now the camera isnt showing anything on it. How do I fix this?
AFAIK cameras offer their own built-in format utility for inserted SD cards. You should use that. Otherwise, refer to the manual that came with your camera to determine precisely how your SD cards need to be formatted to work properly. Personally, I'd suggest Partition Scheme: MBR, and Filesystem: FAT32.
Try to limit the number of formats you perform on the SD cards, though, as you're reducing their lifespan. I believe formatting causes re-writes to a portion of the SD card that has fewer read/write cycles than the rest of the card as a whole. -
can any1 help me out with my ipod touch....I had my ipod in my pocket on lock and when i pulled it out to use it,it had ipod disabled and underneath that it had connect to itunes....unfortunately i am unable to get into my ipod its like locked me out....hope some1 out there can be of help...any advice given is much appreciated
The screen is telling you to connect the iPod to your computer and restore via iTunes. You may have to also place the iPod in recovery mode in ordrer to allow a restore. For recovry mode:

When I signed for eye TV and broadband in March, I was told I would get a free tablet. After asking a couple of times, I had to reorder. I was told that the latest I would receive the free tablet was the end of July. I have had no correspondence to say it was going to be delivered, or late. What is happening with it. I feel that this is quite poor service.

Laptop was broken when I got it....?
I got my laptop for Christmas 2014, when I first opened it, the right hinge made this weird loud clicking noise. It wasn't that loud and as time went on it has gotten worse. I want to get it fixed but I'm not sure if it would be covered under warranty even though I got it like that. Also sometimes when I'm using it, it will blue screen and it says
"SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED"

I would go to my textes and it would take about 30seconds and then crashes, i would close the phone go back and it fail to open again then my phone and the imessages would spaz out. Its really frustrating. I do hard resets and everything but nothing fixes it. When will there be an update that fixes this problem? Plus there are times when i press to close my phone but it doesnt close, i try pressing multiple times after waiting a while a little bit later, it then closes....
There is no such thing as an iPhone 4GS.
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these steps in order until the problem is resolved.
If these steps fail to resolve the issues, take it to Apple for evaluation. -
I would like to use USAToday as my homepage whenever I open Safari. I went to settings and set it for USA..... However, it still opens to the last site I viewed before closing Safari. What do I need to do?

This is normal, if your System Preferences are configured thus:
Check the box if you don't want Safari to reopen the windows that were open last time you used it. -

my phones screen was broken and i took it to a repair shop in turkey and they changed the screen but when we open the phone it gives an eror

2311x Monitor broken when first used! Please help!
I had bought an HP 2311x and when I received it I hooked it up and the screen has alot of different colors, lines, and blurryness. Now after I hooked the monitor up to my pc I checked all the connections and power and everything was working fine. I used my old monitor and hooked it up and everything worked fine. Now here comes the worst part.
After buying this monitor I contacted support for a replacement (The monitor is less than two months old)
and have spent a week trying to get a replcement. I have sent the serial number, product number, Every receipt and shipping tracking info to HP and nothing has been done. All that has happened is HP calls and wants me to buy a new monitor with a 40-50 dollar discount. Now after spending plenty on this monitor that is less than two months old I would expect to get a replacment when it was broken when I got it.
Now HP refuses to do anything. All they do is shift me from department from department and everyone tells me it is under warrenty and that it will be replaced. But when I give them my shipping information they send me to another "Team" and they do the same thing. I am tired of this and all I want is a replacement monitor. Can someone please give me some advice ont what to do or anything that I could do?This is a peer-to-peer user supported forum for HP products. HP maintains no official presence on this forum. Typically, this kind of claim has to happen within days of receipt of the product and after that it is too late. I don't work for HP but I can see you are very frustrated with your experience. but I try to export Korean data to speadsheet in SAP GUI. that is not broken in excel.

kernel : dw-193These are not font issues, they are encoding mismatches, where names are either not in Unicode as required by OS X or are somehow being read in the wrong encoding. It is not uncommon with mp3 files imported from Windows, which often uses different encodings than Mac. The zip utility also botches encodings sometimes.
Try to make sure all the id3 tags are in Unicode before transferring and avoid zipping/unzipping and see if that helps.
