Hi, try removing your printer and then re-adding it. watch these videos and see if they help. If your printer doesn't show up try adding it through its ip address.

How do I activate Acrobat XPro- I've installed CS6 Premium on my computer and Acrobat does not work and says its not activated. It is listed on the programs on the computer but will not respond. How do I fix this?????? Help Adobe?????

How did you install Acrobat, did you install it as a part of Suite installation.
If it is a part of suite then deactivate suite uninstall Acrobat, Reinstall Acrobat using Suite media. Launch Photoshop first and Activate.
Then try launch Acrobat.

My IMac sends and receives email without problems. My IPad two does not. Message says user name & password incorrect. This is a constant problem forcing me to repeatedly change names & passwords in order to get email on the IPad. How can I sync these two units to recognize a single user name and password? Help! Netflix does not work. Says "cannot connect at this time. Try again later" .
Just purchased Apple TV. Netflix has been working fine. Yesterday started getting an error message. "Cannot conect to Netflix at this time, try again later." Still happening. Does anyone know what wrong. Internet works. Itunes works. iMatch works. Netflix on iPad works. Netflix on Mac works... just not apple TV.

Faxing does not work. Says it's waiting for the driver to connect.
I set up the bluetooth fax printer but when I click to send the fax, it says that it's waiting for the driver to connect.
Any ideas?If you don't have a land line you can't fax without a system like eFax which uses e-mail to send faxes to a phone number. If you have a land line, you must tie up the land line to connect to another phone number to Fax to it.
You can probably also fax over VOIP based lines, but not all have a strong enough signal for faxing. Check with your VOIP carrier if you have one if Faxes are supported. Regardless, the Fax capability of any multifunction printer or scanner is only operable through an actual phone line. VOIP offers phone line to internet capability. -
I'm using Tiger 10.4.11 and had to wipe my drive and reload my system from the install discs yesterday,

its operating systems, why do they make it so hard to find help for those system users other than

Tho' I had had problems before getting into the iTunes store I always managed to find a way. Today they had me blocked cold with the "Update to 10" advert no matter what I did. Other questioners are being told, incorrectly as it turns out, that they have to update their OS to accomodate iTunes 10 and upgrade to iTunes 10. I did the download which did not take up much more room on my crowded old hard drive and now I'm back in business.

Wanted to see if anyone could help with this issue I am having. Did a few searches but most of the problems I found related to older versions of iPhoto. When I click on Places it says that I am not connected to the internet when I clearly am connected. Anyone heard of this or have a solution? Thank you!
I'm afraid I don't have much to add other than to say this is happening to me too. However, it is not consistent. Sometimes I get iPhoto Places to connect and show location, and other times (on the same photo with gps tag) it will say not connnected. I too saw the earlier reports of this problem, and also that it was fixed in v8.0.1 of iPhoto.
Currently running iPhoto v9.2.1, and connecting via wifi. -

My audio does not work...
My audio does not work. it says it's enabled, the troubleshooting tools i've used (several) find no problems, and yes, I have the latest drivers. When I start Windows Media Player, it says:
"Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There might not be a sound device installed on your computer, it might be in use by another program, or it might not be functioning properly."
If I click Start, Control Panel, Sound... nothing happens. nothing. No error message, no window starts. Could it be my audio card failed?Ok, it takes 3+ days to back up 400+GB of data, wipe Windows, reinstall all my software and restore all my data. All that drama is not worth repairing a sound card. Besides, we need to fix this for real, not duplicate the conditions that caused it to fail in the first place. In the future, it's best not to bring up that option at all. (We both know that rarely solves the issue permanently.)
I'd simply replace this so-so HP before I put myself in a position to lose 3 days of work.
However, I am still interested in finding a solution to this problem. Do you think HP is capable of solving this? If so, I'll look for a more detailed model number when I get home.

I just had a new hard disc installed and now the LBP0000 canon printer does not work saying it can't connect to CCPD...connection refused! pls help!!?
You need to reinstall the printer driver, and set up the printer on the new hard drive.
The Canon site should have the driver. Download it and install.
Then go to Apple menu / System Preferences / Print & Fax and click the + (plus sign) and follow the directions. -
I had a script that worked great for me in Indesign CS. But now does not work in CS4. Anyone knows what needs to be done to make it work again ?
When I drop folder with indesign files on top of this script:

First thing I noticed is the interaction level is set off. If you comment out this line
set user interaction level to never interact
you might be able to pinpoint the exact error -- ID will display a standard "failed" dialog, hopefully showing the line that it fails on.
A quick question: the script assumes two presets in your InDesign: one for print ("letter size") and one for PDFs ("pdf preset name"):

Do these actually exist in your CS4, with the same (non)capitalization and spaces? -
Wireless printing on HP 6500A Plus -wireless does not work
windows 7, linksys E2000 router, sony vio computer wireless N.
No issues printing by USB. When using wireless, prints first few lines, then slows to a stop. Loses feed from router and disconnects. Tried disabling all firewalls, removed antivirus, etc - nothing is working. Not the only computer in household with same issue as well - Toshiba running xp is having same problems. Need fix or I will trash printer and never purchase HP again and I have long been an HP customer for printers.There have been a few issues with printing using the new E-series Linksys routers. Make sure the router has the latest firmware. If that does not work, set a static IP address for the printer:
- Print a Network Config Page from the front of the printer. Note the printer's IP address.
- Type that IP address into a browser to reveal the printer's internal settings.
- Choose the Networking tab, then Wireless along the left side, then the IPv4 tab.
- On this screen you want to set a Manual IP. You need to set an IP address outside the range that the router automatically sets (called the DHCP range). Yours is 192.168.1.100 to .149. Let's use 192.168.1.200 for your printer.
- Use 255.255.255.0 for the subnet (unless you know it is different, if so, use that)
- Enter your router's IP (on the Network Config Page) for the gateway and first DNS. Leave the second one blank.
- Click 'Apply'.
Now, shut down the router and printer, start the router, wait, then start the printer.
After this you may need to redo 'Add a Printer' using the new IP address.

Hey , Welcome to the HP forums! I hope you enjoy your stay here. I see that you are having some issues with adjusting the power save mode settings on your Laserjet P1606dn. I can help with that. First make sure the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet and not a surge protector. If the printer is connected with an ethernet cable to a router then you may be able to do this instead:On the printer hold down the button that looks like a sheet of paper with an arrow on it for about ten seconds. This should print out a report.On your Mac open a browser and enter the printer's IP Address in your Address bar exactly as it appears on the page. When you are finished click on enter/return.This will open the printer's Embedded Web Server. In here you may be able to find some options to adjust the power save settings.If the above does not work then this troubleshooting may assist you with the utility:Go to Applications, and if you have it open the Hewlett-Packard folder.Run HP Uninstaller to remove any existing software from you system.On the Mac go to the Apple icon and Sytem Preferences.Open Printers and Scanners.Hold down the Command key and click on the picture of your printer on the left.Click on Reset Printing System.Go to Applications and Utilities.Open Disk Utility.Click on Macintosh HD on the left.Click on Verify Disk Permissions. This should take about ten minutes.Click on Repair Disk Permissions. This should take about ten minutes.Restart your Mac.Plug in the USB cable between the printer and the router.Check for Product Updates on your Mac.Try running the tool again.If this resolves everything please let others know by clicking on Accept as Solution below my post.

HP Officejet Pro L7590 Printer - HP Solution Center does not work
I am not able to get the Solution Center suite to work because the installation has an error. I am using Windows 7 Home Premium. The printer I am installing is the HP Officejet Pro L7590.
If I go to Devices and Printers and add the printer. The driver Windows 7 driver would work, it would detect the printer and the test page and everything would be fine.
However, if I install using the software provided by HP for the L7590 it would result in an error and it would not work.
The failed driver installation is only from installing the full bundle software provided by HP, if by itself through Windows 7 it would be fine.
Because of the failed installation using HP software the HP solution center does not work.
In Devices and Printers, the printer has the yellow exclamation point requiring troubleshooting, I click on troubleshoot and no device drivers were found. In addition, I could not remove the printer. Before installing the HP software, I could successfully install the printer and there would be a green checkmark, and there would be an option to remove the printer. This leads me to believe HP has a faulty software bug that is causing the error.
I am suppose to use the HP add a printer shortcut that populated on my desktop after installing the software, the first time it would show the failure to successfully install the driver, afterwards it would not even detect my printer if it is plugged in. If I remove the usb and reinsert it, the Windows would just show the failed driver. I repeat, it failed after I install the software, it works fine without. I see you are having software installation issues. i would like to try and assist you.
I would suggest Uninstalling the Printer Software.
Once it is uninstalled, I would suggest putting your system into clean boot mode within the Microsoft configuration. You can do so by following this document: How to perform a clean boot in Windows.
Once the computer is in clean boot mode, I would reinstalling the HP Officejet Pro Full Feature Software and Driver.
