My Samsung galaxy 5 will not make outgoing calls
When ever i try to call somebody on my Samsung galaxy s5 the call will come up with a dialogue that says "Please re-enter the 10 digit telephone number you are calling, do not press send, *67, or *82 cannot be used on this call to block or unblock caller id". This is very annoying when i try to call people, like calling in sick to work or some stupid things like that. It will still ring and the call will just be fine if somebody else calls me but i just cannot make outgoing calls. I have tried to restore my phone multiple times and still no fix. If anybody knows how to fix this please let me know SOON!
hi Verizon Wireless Customer Support I have a simple question for you. How is it a customer's problem if VZWSupport cannot see the comments in that customer's account? Now, coming to the point of performing a factory reset. Yes, I performed the factory reset and yes, it has been determined to be a hardware problem. However, my point is that how does a customer suddenly go from paying full price for a brand new (and expensive) phone to a second-hand, 'like new' phone, which has a market value of half of the original brand new version? It just means that I ended up paying top dollar for a brand new phone and instead now have to live with a second-hand phone, which is completely unfair. And, it is unfair because Verizon is not reducing my monthly Edge payments, which are currently aimed to cover the full price of the brand new phone Galaxy s5. So, if you want to be fair, give me the second-hand 'like new' phone, but then also reduce my monthly Edge payment to reflect the market price of a second-hand phone. TS3406 iPhone 4s will not make outgoing calls once updated to iOS 8.
I updated my phone to iOS 8 a yesterday and when I did it deleted my phone including all my apps on my phone even though it claims to have backed it up just before updating (not a big deal most were free apps and the work properly once downloaded and the paid ones stayed on) but, my phone will no longer make outgoing calls. When I try the phone makes no noise for about 5-10 seconds and says call ended. I've tried reseting the phone, reseting the network and turning airplane mode on and off and nothing has worked. Also when I plug my phone into my computer it tells me my phone can't be restored and I should try updating iTunes but my iTunes is up to date. Any suggestions?
I Am facing the same issue as of yours. i m having iPhone 4s and upon updating to iOS 8 it has stopped making any outgoing calls .Though there is no problem in recieving calls also with sending/ recieving messeges.

PAP2T-NA will not make outgoing calls with Asterisk
I have a PAP2T-NA connected to a Uniden cordless phone and an Asterisk server with working trunks. Inbound calls work fine - the phone rings and sound works both ways. However I am unable to make outbound calls through the PAP2T, even to other local extensions or just to voice mail. After dialing an extension, I hear a short pause and then a fast busy signal.
Dial plan is (*xx|x.). This is all I see with syslog when calling extension 1000 through sip1 (* server):

Is your voice provider Vonage then Vonage Supports 7-,10- and 11- digit dialing.Use 7-,10- or 11- digit dialing for calls within the same area code as your Vonage phone number. Use 10- or 11- digit dialing for calls outside of your area code.
Also forward the ports 53, 69, 5060-5061and 10000-20000 for the adapter IP address. -
Galaxy S4 will not make or receive calls or texts while connected to home wifi?
Recently, My Galaxy S4 will not make or receive calls or texts while connected to my home WIFI. The status bar WIFI icon is highlighted and the Connection Bar icon has 0 bars. When I check the WIFI connection in "settings" the status is connected and shows very strong strength. Any time I try to make a call or send a text I get a "no network error message" and basically I am dead in the water as far as cell phone use is concerned. My S4 is my primary phone for home and business use and is very inconvenient when I am missing calls, etc. I have done a phone reset and removed SIM Card as well as a rest. Please advise.
jlrwillis, I know this would concern me just the same and we definitely want to figure this out for you. How long has this been going on? Since you started experiencing the issue have there been any changes to the device? Software updates, application downloads, or damage to the device? If WiFi is off while at home do you see that you are connected to cellular service? Are you able to make a call that way?

Today I downloaded a new version of Kies, 3.1.0.15042_6, and it seemed to work fine. I was able to backup my Note 3 running Lollipop with no hesitation. Files transferred to my Mac running Yosemite, OS X 10.10.3, easily. The download is available at http://www.samsung.com/us/kies/

Samsung Galaxy SIII will not turn on. Vibrates when battery installed.
As stated My galaxy S3 does not turn on. I have removed the battery and discharged the static energy as many posts have stated. I have re installed the battery and attempted to start phone in safe mode. I can not get the phone to do anything.
Phone does not work.
Re installed battery.
Phone will vibrate every few seconds at seemingly regular intervals.
Would like help finding solution or directions to threads with similar problems.

Zoinks! Sorry to hear you are having trouble so far away. It sounds like it was working fine when you first replaced the battery and you had previously done a factory reset. The computer isn't recognizing it and it isn't charging. So, by process of elimination, based on what you have described it sounds like there might be a problem with the USB cable.
Since you replaced that battery have you tried another charger? That might give us greatly clarity as to the nature of the problem. As you are currently out of our reach, if it works fine with another charger and you need to replace it, I would reach out to Samsung for assistance with finding a local provider that has their charger or usb cable in their inventory: http://bit.ly/1v0IVFI .

My S3 will not make/receive calls or send texts.
Since a trip about 3 weeks my phone has had an issue with making/receiving calls and sending texts. It is random, won't work at home or work one day but will the next however it is getting worse. I do not have any issue with mobile data and I receive texts with no problem. Also have an issue when the phone does make a call no one can hear me...I can hear them just fine. My be a seperate issue however the microphone issue started the same time as the other issue. Any suggestions?

Can not make outgoing calls???
When I dial out, the E for edge network disappears and I can not hear a ring. The iphone makes the call but the it won't ring and I can't hear anything when the person picks up. Right now my iphone has no calling function whatsoever. When someone calls me and I pick up they I can not hear them and they can not hear me.

I updated the IOS 6 a month ago and now the issue arises just today. I can make outgoing calls but unable to receive incoming calls and text messages. When someone try to call me it always says no network coverage area, but eventually the signal bar is full. And I realised that when I'm making an outgoing call, and I used another device to call my phone and it able to receive. But when I'm not calling out, the call unable to receive and it says that Out of Network Coverage Area.

First of all I cannot see the D-Channel of your E1 created (Interface Serial 0/1/0:15).
NB: Make sure you have enough DSPs for the E1 channels to be created automatically when you setup the controller E1 0/1/0
I presume the following is the Dial-peer that you were hoping to use for outgoing calls:
dial-peer voice 1 pots
answer-address 701
destination-pattern .T
forward-digits all
1. This can ONLY work if the calling number is from extension 701 (answer-address 701)
2. You need to assign the D-Channel on your dial-peer because as it is there is no way it will know where to go:
dial-peer voice 1 pots
destination-pattern .T
forward-digits all
port 0/1/0 <--- Your E1 interface
Also, the following is the minimum config for the virtual E1 interface:
Interface Serial 0/1/0:15
isdn incoming-voice voice

Not all carriers allow that to be set using preferences in the phone. Contact your carrier.

When I get a phone call or text message it will not make the sound. Just vibrate. But the switch is on normal. When I change it to vibrate the volume thing will not show. Nor will my up volume up key work. Is there any way to fix it?
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

View Solution.I searched other posts and someone suggested that I go to setup on the front of the printer and then tools. I did a cleaning twice and now it makes copies again. The first time I did the cleaning it still did not work, the second cleaning did it. I would strongly suggest to HP that they address this issue in their troubleshooting docs. They don't even mention not making a copy, they only talk about printing, two diiferent issues.
