Hi,
I have configured redundant network using two Cisco SG300-28MP 28-port Gigabit Max-PoE Managed Switch through MSTP & it's working fine.
I need OID of MSTP status from which I can monitor which Switch is active and which one is in standby mode.
Please help.
Thanks,

  • CLI support for Cisco SG100D-05 5-Port Gigabit Desktop Switch

I would like to know if the SG100D series of switches support the CLI? If not what are the series of switches supported by the CLI.
I am looking for an application where I need to tell which device is connected to which port on a switch. Hence I am looking at this option where I can run a script and use CLI to output the MAC id of devices connected on each port.
    Thanks!

    Hi Yiu Kay Lee,
Thank you for sending me this document. It was very helpful. But I cannot understand one thing about it. Is it possible to extract the results from the CLI by passing a command via a script e.g. Python and get the results of it into Python?
    For e.g.
    ************Python script ******************
    >>print("send command to 200 series Cisco switch")
    >> results = show mac-addr-table
    >> print results
Please let me know if such interfacing with the CLI is possible or not?
    Thanks

  • Cisco SG300-52 52-Port Gigabit Managed Switch losing VLAN-Port Membership

    Hello
We have some cisco switches in use and we're facing some problems everytime the switch loses Power.
After a reboot the port/vlan membership is lost, so are other settings recently made (like SSH access allowed, etc.).
The settings made up a year ago like the IPs, password, etc. remain untouched.
Upgrading the Firmware, Saving the Configs, etc. didn't solve the problem.
Is this a known issue? Anyone facing the same problem?
Bye and thanks for the help.
    Viktor

  • Need SNMP oid or object name to monitor temperature for 3560 switch.

    hi all
i have 3560 switch loacted in warehouse environments . i need to monitor the temperatue of this switch . i am looking for OID value  that serves this purpose
kindly provide me how to look for all OID that give me real time  status for FAN .. CPU UTILISATION ...TEMPERATURE ...OR ANY MAJOR EVENT THAT CAN DISRUPT MY PRODUCTIN ..
    THANKS

The CISCO-ENVMON-MIB is a good one to look at for these types of queries:
    http://tools.cisco.com/Support/SNMP/do/BrowseMIB.do?local=en&step=2&submitClicked=true&mibName=CISCO-ENVMON-MIB#contents
Have a look at  ciscoEnvMonTemperatureStatusValue for temperature.
    For CPU utilization:
    CISCO-PROCESS-MIB
    Memory
    CISCO-MEMORY-POOL-MIB

                 Hi Friends,
If anyone is having  step by step installation guide for Cisco ISE in distributed environment please shere!
I have user guide from Cisco, but does someone have created at the time of actual installation.
    Thanks,
    Sachin

There is a trustsec 2.1 how to guide on cisco's website. There is also a TrustSec 2.0 ISE Guide floating around that has step by step instructions for setting up ISE 1.0.4. Which is still pretty accurate for the 1.1.1 guide. But if you go through the below site it should give you all the info you need.

  • Show version for Cisco Blocker

    Hi,
As I am not really tech savvy here, we curently have an issue where we need to verify a serial number for Cisco Blocker. However, customer said they did not have a show version and instead provided us with the system status information. However, from it, we cannot derive the correct serial either. Is anyone familiar with how to interpret the system status to derive the correct serial for Cisbo Blocker? Or are there other options the customer can give us to get the correct serial?
I am attaching the system status provided by the customer.
    Thanks,

  • Field Status for Vendor Line item or Customer line item

    Hi
Can i need to check the Field status for Vendor or Customer Line item when i use the transaction codes F-43 or F-22. This is very urgent.
    Regards

    Hi Vinay,
You cannot check the Field Status directly when posting a document. The Field Status is controlled by the Field Status group. This is controlled at 3 levels, the company code level, G/L Master level and at the Posting key level. Field status at the posting key level overwrites other groups. It is basically to control which fiedls need to be supressed, which are required and which are optional.
In FS00 under the create/bank/interest tab you will find the field group. Check the Recon account assigned to your vendor/customer master and check the field status in FS00.
    Regards

  • U00BFMultiple user status for WBS Element?

    Hello,
I need to create multiple user status for a WBS element.
    I'm using the BAPI: BAPI_BUS2054_SET_STATUS
    CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_BUS2054_SET_STATUS'
         Importing
           return = ls_returnbapi1
        TABLES
    I_WBS_SYSTEM_STATUS =
i_wbs_user_status = it_wbs_user_status"--> This table contais 2 record, with the same WBS elements and diferent status
           e_result = it_result.
I put several rows (two)  in the table it_wbs_user_status., I put two rows,  the WBS elements for the same item with two different status, but I get error because it says that the WBS  element is repeated.
¿Can you have multiple user status for the same element PEP? I try it in the transaction CJ20N too, and I don't Know.
    Thanks.

In transaction CJ20N you can change user status for each WBS elements.
Menu --> Edit --> Status --> User Status --> you can choise betwen "Set" or "Set & Pass On".
I want BAPI, function , etc.... that do the same thar "Set" , not "Set & Pass On".
    BAPI_BUS2054_SET_STATUS = "Set & Pass On"
    Thanks

  • Finding rack mount kit for Cisco SF300-48P

I have a 10/100 POE managed switch laying around that I wanted to rack up to use for my VoIP phones. I however, had since lost the mounts (or never had them to begin with).
I've been looking all darn day for mounts just for this. It doesn't seem to fit any other of the 10,000 or so rack kits I have in house.
So far google and Ebay have been failing me. Everyone wants to sell me a darn switch, and I have that. I just want the bloody ears gosh darnit.
Can someone please, send me a model number I can search for on Amazon or Ebay to grab them?
    Cheers,
    Mike

If you are in the UK you could try ringing hardware.com.
They have supplied me with 'cisco-compatable' rackmount kits in the past at a fraction of the price of the genuine article.
    Worth a shot.

  • Cisco SG300-28 VLAN issues

I'm throwing this out in hopes of finding a solution.  I just purchased the Cisco SG300-28 to replace an old Catalyst 3548 switch.  I have three VLAN's and I use a separate routing appliance.  My VLANS I use are 1 (management/Trunk), 100 (Regular Access), and 101 (Restricted Access).  On the Catalyst 3548 I statically assigned the ports for the Vlans.  My servers use trunk ports to communicate between the VLANs for various services.
My problem is that when I setup the SG300-28 for trunk ports for the servers, I can communicate with them so long as I'm on another port that's not setup for the other two VLANS.  Vlan 100 and 101 don't route or get DHCP anymore.  I am also not able to ping back into the Vlans from the trunk ports.
I believe my issue is that I don't understand the difference between the old way of statically assigning Vlans to the ports from the new way.  I was using V3 of the Cisco Networking Assistant which is different from the Web Interface of the Cisco SG300.  It also could be that I wasn't using the trunk ports properly.
Either way, any assistance would certainly be appreciated.  Thank you.
    DJ Smith

I did get this switch figured out finally and I apologize for not getting back to this sooner.  I had crafted a response only to have this board dump it so I am using notepad to
    save everything before posting.
    Here is a basic diagram

    VLAN100 - Main Network
    VLAN101 - Restricted Network
I just put the main players on this setup.  The problem I was having is that the workstations wouldn't communicate with any of these devices.
My problem was understanding how to use the web interface of the SG300 to get the devices to talk to the other devices.
In the Cisco 3548 setup using the Cisco Networking Assistant you setup the ports to the VLANS was very staight forward.  Set 802.q and VLAN ID to the VLAN you wanted or ALL in
    the case of the Servers.
With the Web interface, this is what I discovered:
Under Create VLAN, I had to create VLAN 100 and 101
Under Interface Settings, Set Ports g1-g6 to General.  Administrative PVID to 100.
Then Set Ports g7 - g14 to General.  Administrative PVID to 101
Then set Port g27 to General.  Administrative PVID left to 1
Also set Port g28 to General.  Again, left PVID to 1
    Go to Port to VLAN settings;
Change VLAN ID = to 100 press GO
Select g1-g6 to untagged. Checked PVID box.  Also checked g13, g27, g28 to tagged.
Changed VLAN ID = 101 Press GO
Select g7-g14 to untagged.  Checked PVID box. Also checked g13, g28 to tagged.  Verified g27 to untagged.
After that it was setup up like my old setup.  Everything communicating as it should.

  • Need SNMP MIB files For Cisco SF 300-48 48-Port 10/100 Managed Switch

    Hi All,
I need SNMP MIB files for Cisco SF 300-48 48-Port 10/100 Managed Switch.
I have gone through cisco site but not able to get it.
Can anyone please provide me.I have stuck with this.
    Thanks
    Ram

Hi Ram, yes the MIB can be used. The switches are essentially the same in many regards (especially on a software level).
I do not know the OID for bandwidth. If you're looking for a particular OID may be this tool helps you

Issue: looking for a snmp OID to poll power supply status (Inbuilt Power Supply -  no redundant power supply in this scenario). Possibly what we see in show environment.
    CSE analysis:
I tried using the OIDs belonging to CISCO-ENTITY-FRU-CONTROL-MIB , like cefcFRUPowerOperStatus and cefcFRUPowerAdminStatus but it didn’t return anything.
NOTE: I have done all the snmp walks from the Linux server. Do I doubt it’s something to do from the snmp manager side.
Couple of observations. The  CISCO-ENTITY-FRU-CONTROL-MIB talks about the field replaceable power supplies, so I doubt if it’s going to return the value for inbuilt power supply.
Second, I noticed that there are snmp traps supported for power supply and threshold setting. See configuration below. Is it that only traps works for power supply and environment related details?
    Snmpwalk on cefcFRUPowerStatusEntry returns nothing:
    [root@tonbenso-eagle bin]# ./snmpwalk -v2c -c public 172.16.169.29 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.117.1.1.2.1

SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.117.1.1.2.1.2 = No Such Instance currently exists at this OID
    Snmpwalk on cefcFRUPowerAdminStatus returns nothing:

    [root@tonbenso-eagle bin]#
    login as: root
I tried polling the ciscoEntityFRUControlMIB to see what all values it return. It just returned enterprises.9.9.117.1.3.1.0 = INTEGER: 2. Meaning cefcMIBEnableStatusNotification is FALSE (value 2). Meaning cefcModuleStatusChange, cefcPowerStatusChange, cefcFRUInserted, cefcFRURemoved, cefcUnrecognizedFRU and cefcFanTrayStatusChange are prevented from being sent.

    Hi
I've got an ASA with redundant power supplies. An ASA5585. So I have the need to monitor them. :-) So how can we do it?
Also I've made a SNMP-Walk through the ASA v8.4(2)8 and it doesn't show up any ENV-MIB values. The
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13 tree is not available. Are you shure it's available on the ASA?
Funny is also that the command "show snmp-server oidlist" from the 8.4 configuration guide is not available on the real CLI. I think the documentation guys were faster than the coders. ;-)
    Kind regards
    Roberto

  • SNMP OID for AssociatedAPs in Virtual WLC 7.4.100.0

    Hello Guys!
I need you help for something that I need to do to monitor my Wi-FI network.
I'm using a Virtual WLC (SW Ver 7.4.100.0) where most that 30 APs are associated with, but I would like to monitor each disaciossiation of APs using SNMP. After some search, I have found this OID .1.3.6.1.4.1.14179.2.1.1.1.38 on some forums but it doesn't work, I see random number in my monitoring tool.
Do you know if there is any another OID to use with this software version or maybe if I have to upgrade to ver7.6 or ver8?
    Thanks in advance,
    Kevin

I'm assuming you don't own a license for Cisco Prime Infrastructure
One thing you can do is send SNMP traps to your monitoring software from the WLC (I've never used virtual WLC but my assumption is most options are the same. If your software doesn't support SNMP Traps consider a different monitoring software...
Go to Management > SNMP > Trap Receivers and set up your receiver
Then to to Management > SNMP > Trap ControlsHere is where you set what traps are sent via SNMP. If you see the "AP" tab you can set several things.
If you only want to see if an AP is dropping off the network and the above doesn't work, you could just put dhcp reservations on your APs and have your software ping it. This of course is only if its off network, not if it simply disassociates.
