Well, as it's most urgent....
One you have a value in V_FORM_NAME you need to call this function module, passing the fields and strucures that make up the interface to your form.
Eg.
DATA: DEVICE TYPE SSFCTRLOP .
DEVICE-DEVICE = 'PRINTER'.
DEVICE-NO_DIALOG = 'X'.
CALL FUNCTION V_FORM_NAME
EXPORTING
   CONTROL_PARAMETERS         = device

You have to use the FM to convert to PDF then use this data and bind this to the node type XSTRING.
Check components WDR_TEST_ADOBE_PDF_ONLY or WDR_TEST_ADOBE for reference.

Need to call transaction from report

Hi,
I have to create BAPIs to call from webDynpro to realize the functionality of the transactions MI01/MI04 and MI07. I´m working in the SAP cable Solution environment.
Do You know any BAPIs to use instead of calling the transactions? Maybe there are standard ones, which contain cable solution modifications...
Otherwise I thought about building frame BAPIs and calling the transactions inside of it. Do You think it´s possible to realize that by batch-input?
I need some other opinions and ideas to this problem.

Calling smartform from other system in ECC.

Hi friends,
I have a smart form in other system....In Ecc there is an alv report where in when i click on any line item,it should fetch the information in terms of smart form from the other system.that is a smart form present in other system should be displayed in ECC.I have not to create any smart form in ECC...Only call smart form from the other system....
Has somebody done this before or have any ideas how to do it.

I have developed Module pool Program , in module pool program i have save button and Execute button when i press save button whatever the data is there in transaction, it will store in the tables and when i click Execute button, it will generate a smartform.

in your Module pool program
in PBO event you can do like this...
either use
CALL FUNCTION '/1BCDWB/SF00003434'.
here /1BCDWB/SF00003434 is name of function module generated from smartform

or if you want to get the function module name dynamically then use below function module to get the FM name for your Smart form name.
SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME
and then use that from export parameter..

In smartforms , right click any window and create->flow logic->program lines, then the screen for program logic appears. In the left most corner there a icon named statement struct.
Click the statement struct icon, it will show the screen for pattern, there give the function module name that you want to include in smartforms

1. Open Toos > Nuget Package Manager > Package Manager Console
then run
install-package entityframework -version 6.0.0.0
2. Try to copy EntityFramework.dll to the bin folder under Solution.
3. Try to copy EntityFramework.dll to SharePoint web application bin folder.
C:\inetpub\wwwroot\wss\VirtualDirectories\<port>\bin

Hi ,
The print button creates a spool number through which you can get ALV output of the ITEM details but cannot call smartform from that.
PR is just an internal document.There is no other way to do it(As far as i know).
You now have only two options to go for:
1) Create a subscreen with a pushbutton , and then call the driver program to print the smartform.
2) A Z transaction to print the PR , which you have already done.
Let me know if you find any other way to do it.

I deployed my ejb to OAS4081. I call that
from JDeveloper so it good. But when I try
to call from applet in IExpl5 I can't
instantiate the ORB. I've got a com.ms.security.SecurityException : oracle.oas.orb.CORBA.ORB.init
I coded the CLASSPATH(oasoorb(yoj),client,
ejbapi...) perfectly, I think.

 I saw someone on this group had a problem to locate proper classpath
 to call EJB from JSP. I thought if you call EJB from classpath, you are
 calling the bean. But you loss all the EJB functions. To be able to utilize
 EJB features like object pooling. You need to call it from Weblogic server
 using url/jndi, not from the jar directly.
 Any comment? Am I right?
 BTW, my question about calling EJB from JSP means calling through URL,
 not a local path.

Calling servlet from a java program

I need to call a servlet's doPost() method from a java program. I have a specific situation, where I need to call servlet from a java program. DUring this call I need to pass a file and two string to the servlet. Servelt after receiving the file and string uploads the file to the server at a specified location. I am stuck up as how to call servlet from a java program instead of a HTML or JSP.
Can anyone help me to start with this.

You have to establish a URLConnection with servlet from your java program.

URLConnection servletConnection = servletURL.openConnection();you can get the objectOutputStream
ObjectOutputStream oos = new ObjectOutputStream (servletConnection.getOutputStream());
oos.writeObject(your file object);-------------------------------------------------
In the servlet u can get the strings using request.getParameter("str1");
In the servlet u can get the strings using request.getParameter("str2");
