  • Supply Area-BOM Level by Level

    Hi Folks,
I am having a problem in fetching the Supply area when a Component is having many sub-assemblies.
    To be in detail,
I am fetching the  DISTINCT Production Order(AUFNR) from MSEG w.r.t to MBLNR and MJAHR.
Then w.r.t to this AUFNR I am fetching the BOM category(STLTY) and BOM (STLNR).
Then w.r.to this STLTY and STLNR I am fetching the Supply area(PRVBE).
If the supply area is maintained at this level, then fine.If this BOM is having many sub-Assemblies and the supply area is maintained at a different level then we need to explode that BOM step by step and fetch the Supply Area.
To be precise CS11 gives the Supply Area according to the BOM Level by Level.I just wanna fetch the Supply Area as per that.Do anyone here has an idea about how this functionality can be achieved.
I am trying to find by debugging CS11,any valuable inputs from experts here will be helpful.
    Thanks,

  • Supply area in kanban

    Hi All
i want to change a supply area for the exsiting kanban control cycle. I tried to change the supply area which is having the different storage location, but system is not allowing me to change it. Please suggest me if there is any other way to change supply area in the kanban control cycle rather deleting it.
    Your help is highly appreciated.
    Quantum.

    Hi
Steps in SAP: (Discrete Manufacturing - Classic kanban)
    1) Maintain Supply Area T code:PK05
    2) Create Material Master with all relevant Kanban Data Eg: JIT Delivery schedule, Supply area
    T code: MM01
Create BOM,Routing,Work Centre for which are all required to carry out Discrete manufacturing cycle- CS01,CR01,CA01
    3) Create Control Cycle: T code: PKMC
4)Go to Demand Kanban Board T code: PK 13 N
5)Convert Waiting Kanban to Empty (Using Kanban Board/ T code:PK21)
    6) Do the confirmation & Goods Receipt for order/ Convert Empty Kanban to Full (Using Kanban Board/ T code:PK21)
Similarly you can try other Kanban procedures like u2013
KANBAN with Quantity Signal , One-Card KANBAN, Event-Driven KANBAN Input: (For Classic Kanban)
    Input: (For Classic Kanban)
    Expected Results
    1. Maintain Supply Area T code:PK05 :- supply are will be created
    2. Create Material Master with all relevant Kanban Data Eg: JIT Delivery schedule, Supply area
T code: MM01 :- Proper Master Data will be created
    3. Create BOM,Routing,Work Centre for which are all required to carry out Discrete manufacturing cycle- CS01,CR01,CA01 :-
    4. Create Control Cycle: T code: PKMC :- Control Cycle/material will be created
    5. Go to Demand Kanban Board T code: PK 13 N :- Display of Kanban Control Cycles with Kanban
    6. Convert Waiting Kanban to Empty : - Production order will be generated
    7. Do the confirmation & Goods Receipt for order/ Convert Empty Kanban to Full :-
Kanban signal changes from Empty (Red) to Full (Green)

  • Replenishement directly from external supplier to production supply area

    Hi Experts
    I'm new in WM,
We have a big tanks for oil which will be used by the production as a component during the production process, these tanks is in the PSA "Production supply Area" and the supplier provide the oil directly to PSA ( not throug the Warehouse) so these tanks are under the production control.
we need to implement this process in SAP.
we need the stept by step implementation of that request
your support is highly recommanded for us
    Many thanks in advance
    Olfa

There are many ways to do your requirement. One among them is, Implement KANBAN Process using External Replenishment.
Evaluate options using PK01 .. External proc.

  • Require that all senders are authenticated no longer working

    Hello,
I've already mentioned it in another thread, but maybe it's an update-issue in stead of server issue.
My problem: It seems (well, it doesn't work anymore, so it's an issue) that the option "Require that all senders are authenticated" on 'Distribution Group' not longer works. I really don't know why this happends and when it doesn't work anymore,
because it did work when creating the group (and the updates weren't available).
The situation (so maybe there's another option to find out what causes the problem):
Pineapp -> Exchange 2007 SP2 Rollup 4. The pineapp is being used before I installed updates of Exchange (and it did work with this setup), so in my opinion, this can't be the problem.
If someone could help me, or point me to a (new) direction so I can solve the problem with our Exchange server, that would be great :).

Update: When sending an email to the used distribution group, I get an bounce with 'authentication required'. When sending
an email to the user in the same group, the email is delivered in stead of bounced.
This is normal. You only enabled the  "Require that all senders are authenticated" on 'Distribution Group', but the users in the same group do not have
"Require that all senders are authenticated" enabled.  So the users outside of your domain still can send the mail to the users without authentication.
To batch enable the "Require that all senders are authenticated" for the users, you can use the following method:
    1. Create a organizational Unit (OU), move the users to this OU.
    2. Open EMS, type:
    Get-mailbox -OrganizationalUnit   |set-mailbox -requireSenderAuthenticationEnable:$true
Please remember to click “Mark as Answer” on the post that helps you, and to click “Unmark as Answer” if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread. Thanks

  • Planning of Dependent Requirements for BOM Components in Make to Order scen

Hi Friends - I want to execute a full cycle Make to Stock Scenario with Materials planning using MRP.
The scenario will include BOM Components with Routing.
The process flow I want to execute -
    1. Create a Sales Order for a Finished Product (Product should have a BOM for Production)
    2. Do the product Materials Planning for the Sales Order through MD50
    3. Get all the dependent material requirements (both for products as Planned Order and also for BOM Components - all the BOM components should also be planned)
    4. Convert Planned Order for Product to Production Order
    5. Convert Planned Orders for BOM components to Purchase Requisition
    6. Confirm Production Order
To execute this I have done the following
    1. I have created a Material Master data for Finished Product (FERT).
    2. I have assigned Item Category Group - NORM, and General Item Category group as NORM
    3. I have assigned MRP Type PD in MRP 1 View and Strategy Group 20 (Make to Order Production) in MRP 3 View.
    4. Now created a Universal (Type 3) BOM for the product with one material component.
    5. Now also created a Routing for the Material with two operations having PP01 a control key.
    6. Now created a standard sales order for the product.
    7. Executed the MD50 for the Sales Order Item.
Now where do I find the BOM components for this material in the Sales Order?
After executing the planning Run MD50 I am only getting the requirements for Product only. I can't see any dependent requirements for the BOM components.
How do I make sure that the BOM components are also planned while the product is planned?
I have checked the component Stock Requirement List - there are no requirements generated from the Sales Order Product BOM.
Pls help me on this. How to do this so that the raw material components are also planned?
    Thanks
    Purnendu

Hi Dhaval, Sandeep, Ashok - Thanks a lot for your replies.
I have checked the Planned Order Created through Planning Run.
If I click on the Components Tab I am getting following message
    No material components were determined
    Message no. 61027
    Diagnosis
Until now, no BOM explosion has been carried out or no BOM has been created for this material yet.
    Procedure
Either explode the bill of material for this material, or
create the components manually by processing the planned order in change mode.
If I try to explode the BOM through Header Menu - Edit> Explode BOM
I am getting the same message.
If I click on the Bill of Material Tab - I am getting the same above messge.
Ashok - I have tried both the Selection Method -
Nil - Selection by Order Quant.
1 - Selection by Explosion Date
    But with no effect.
    Waiting for your advice.
    Thanks and warm regards
    Purnendu

Mostly cleaning.. Ensure the data is harmonic & coherent, i.e same case, lettering etc. Perform the update in master, run the ACR via RSATTR to reflect the changes. If you have used some restrictions in BEx reports, ensure they have been removed or changed. It's nice to learn you are pro-active than reactive.. Anyways, just keep posting.

  • Set new Required Field for MD14 and MD15 for conver from Planned order to P

    Dear all,
I would like to set new required field (Purchasing Organization)  in T-CODE MD14 and MD15 for convert from Planned Order to PR. What's should I do?
Please help, I 'm new for MRP.
    Best Regards,
    Kate

    Hi Kate,
You are not on the right track; MD14 and 15 will choose the PLANNED ORDER population for the conversion. In planned orders there's NO PURCHASING ORGANIZATION DATA (normally)!
So even if you managed to put the field on the screen, it will not do anything that makes sense.

  • Freight Conditions and Commission Rate - New Requirement

    Hi All,
There is new requirement about Freight condition and Commission Rate. Please see below for details:
I got the requirement lets say:
They want 3 different types of freight like 1st Freight - based on unit/qty, 2nd freight - Fixed Amount, and 3rd Freight - based on kilometer, out of this 3 any one will applicable in sale order at a time depends how they want to charge. they have existing pricing procedure.
I hope the above freight related part clear to you all.
    Now the commision part:
Here they are giving commisions whatever rate decided to the commission agent, here also for commission agent they want 3 different types 1st will be Fixed Amount, 2nd will be based on percentage and 3rd will be normal way.
Please help and advice how to achieve this type of requirement.

    hi
    Condition Exclusion
The system can exclude conditions so that they are not taken into account during pricing in sales documents.
Material 4711 costs 150 USD. Some customers receive a discount of 10 USD per 100 pieces.
However, a specific customer can buy the material for 100 USD. Since this is a particularly good price, the customer should not also have a discount of 10 USD per 100 pieces. Therefore, this discount is to be excluded from pricing.
To do this, you must follow two steps:
You must set a condition exclusion indicator for the price. You can do this in two ways: If you want to set the condition exclusion indicator a follows then you specify it:
    - for all condition records of a condition type (e.g. with condition type PR00) when defining a condition type in SD Customizing
    - for an individual condition record (e.g. only for material 4711) in the detail screen of a condition record (in the Condition exclusion field)
You must set a condition for the discount in the pricing procedure in Customizing for sales. If this condition is set, the discount is not valid if the condition exclusion indicator is set. Condition 2 is available in the standard R/3 System.
The condition exclusion indicator is not valid for condition supplements.
This means that if a condition record contains condition supplements they will be taken into account during pricing.
    Condition Exclusion Group u2013
In any normal situation there could be more than one condition type in a pricing procedure offering a discount to a customer. Should the discounts be automatically determined, there is the risk that the customer will receive all the relevant discounts and thus purchase the product for a lower price than he should.
By using u2018condition exclusion groupsu2019 you can ensure that the customer does not receive all the discounts, but instead only receives the best of the available discount condition types.
Menu path u2013 IMG - Sales & Distribution - Basic functions u2013 pricing u2013 condition exclusion u2013 condition exclusion for groups of conditions (OV31).
A condition exclusion group is merely a grouping of condition types that are compared to each other during pricing and result in the exclusion of particular condition types within a group or entire groups. It is important to note that the condition types you want the system to compare must exist in the pricing procedure and must have valid condition records created for them.
If for example, a sales order is created using the pricing procedure that the exclusion group is assigned to, you can see that the condition offering the most favorable discount to the customer is represented in the pricing procedure.
For instance, condition type K007 has offered a discount of 10% off the sale price or a real value of $30, while another condition type K005 has offered a real value discount of $10. The system then takes the best discount for the customer between the two, which is K007 and makes the other discount K005 inactive. This can be seen by double clicking on the condition type K005, where you can find a entry saying u2018Inactive A condition exclusion itemu2019.
There are four possible methods of using condition exclusion groups u2013
A u2013 best condition between the condition types
B u2013 best condition within the condition types
C u2013 best condition between the two exclusion groups
    D u2013 exclusive
E u2013 least favorable within the condition type
F u2013 least favorable within the two exclusion groups
    Configuring u2018Condition Exclusion Groupsu2019
First step is to define a u2018condition exclusion groupu2019 by using a four character alpha numeric key.
Next step is to assign the relevant condition types to the exclusion groups such as discount condition types, freight condition types.
After completing the assignment of the condition types to the exclusion group, proceed with assigning the condition exclusion group to the relevant pricing procedure.
After selecting the pricing procedure for which you want the condition exclusion to be active, select the folder u2018Exclusionu2019 where you can assign the relevant condition exclusion procedure to the relevant condition exclusion group.
When using the condition exclusion group to find the best condition record in a condition type u2013 only use one condition type per exclusion group. The most important thing to remember here is to u201Cdeactivateu201D the Exclusive Indicator on the access sequence assigned to that condition type. Otherwise, the system will merely find the first condition record and stop searching for other records.

  • Using a existing Document type for a new requirement.

    Hi Gurus,
I have a Sales Documnent type ZOR which was earlier used and now this not being used any more.
If we start using  the same document type again after changing the description will it have any negative Implications?
Will any reporting or financial posting or Audit issue occur as we use the existing document type with a new desciption for a new requirement.
    Thanks
    Montee

    Monti,
    1. First you will have to decide that the document you have created for a business process is going to be reappear in future. if not then you can change the document description and reuse it.
    2. Within the document type take care of no. range assignement, Pricing date and billing documents you have assigned (Delivery related or order related)
    3. Item category usage, you would have assigned an item category for this document type check the item category assignement when you are using it for new process relook into into item category details screen. Check even Schedule line category details and its assignement
    4. Check Copy controls once again (Delivery related or order related).
    5. Check the Delivery and billing documents associated with it.
    6. Check its assignement to a specific sales area if configured else OK

Also after clicking on this new link on the fucntion area of the masthead, the iview needs to be displayed in the innerpage or the content area of the portal...
    thank you

    Hi Luke
    Hi
You can modify the par file <b>com.sap.portal.navigation.masthead</b> to achieve this.
    Copy the
    com.sap.portal.navigation.masthead.par.bak file from
    <local_drive>usrsap<instance>JC00j2eecluster server0appssap.comirjservlet_jspirj
ootWEB-INF deploymentpcd to a temporary folder.
Rename the par file to some other namespace and import the new par file into your NWDS.
you have 3 main files in the masthead namely HeaderiView.jsp, LogInRedirect.jsp, LogOffConfirmMsg.jsp.
change the corresponding jsp file to make the changes as per your requirements.Upload and deploy the par file to the Enterprise Portal.
    Also go through these links.
    Customizing masthead in theme editor
    Removing Masthead Function Area
Adding a background picture to masthead
    hope this helps.

  • Message Delivery Restrictions on Distribution Groups setting "Require that all senders are authenticated" on newly created groups

This is new behavior.  I recently decommissioned my Exchange 2003 server.  Could this have caused this new behavior?  If so, how do I ensure "Require that all senders are authenticated" is unchecked during group creation?

I don't believe there is a way to change the default.  You'll have to either go to the properties each time after you create the group and disable it. Or run the following powershell script after:
    Set-DistributionGroup GROUPNAME -RequireSenderAuthenticationEnabled $False

  • Sending New Requirement date to APO before saving the sales order in ECC

    Hi Experts,
i have a requirement where while creation of sales order, when user enters the requirement date,i have to calculate the new requirement date ( adding transit time and other time ) and send it to APO , to bring the ATP result based on this new calculated date.
This new calculated date is getting saved in Z field in VBAP table and also this new requirement date which has to be pass to APO is getting calculated while saving the doucment i.e. at user exit - USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE.
Now, i am not sure, how i should pass this new date to APO , which FM , Badi or BAPI would be used ?
Please help and let me know if i am supposed to detailed it a little more.
    Thanks.

    Hi Bharat,
Normally the new calculated requirement/delivery date will be updated in APO through the CIF.
However you can influence the transfer with enhancement CIFSLS03 (influence sales-order-specific data directly before it is sent to SAP APO available on ECC side).
    Please see the below description.
    Thanks.
    Regards, Marius
In this enhancement, you can transfer customer-order-specific data to SAP
    APO.
The associated component EXIT_SAPLCSLS_002 provides you with tables that are
required for the transfer. In particular, these are:
    Requirements table ET_SL_REQ
    Item table ET_SL_DOC
    Field catalog ET_ATPFIELD
You can use this exit to create or change documents in the ERP system as well
as for the initial data transfer.
The data is transferred to SAP APO after this exit is called.
    Notes
If you use program /SAPAPO/CIF_DELTAREPORT3, you have to add the
corresponding logic to function module EXIT_SAPLCID3_001. For more information,
    see the documentation for
    enhancement CIFCID3.
Programs /SAPAPO/CIF_DELTAREPORT and /SAPAPO/CIF_DELTAREPORT2 also run this
    exit.

  • Supply area assignment in Production order

    Hello All,
Is there supply area available in production order? As per my understanding the storage locations ( either issue or receiving ) data is available in the BOM of the Production order. But is there any field for capturing the supply area in the production order. If so from where is this supply area picked, is it from the Default supply area in the production version maintained in Material master? And in which tab can i see this supply area information in the Production order.
    Regards
    Divya

    Divya,
There is no field for supply area that can be found in production order. However this filed is available in Work center Master data. WC is displayed in the operation screen of production order.
Supply area (SA) is used in the context of material replenishment area and is situated directly on the shop floor. Many work centers (WC) could be located within a single SA. This field is available in WC so that location of WC can be displayed easily on a large shopfloor.
I am sure this helps. For more questions please come back.
    thanks,
    Ram
