Not getting planned order in MD04.........

Hi SAP GURUS,
I have a HALB metl and after runnung mrp in MD03, system is not displaying planned order.
I maintained all relevant parameters also .
Please help me ,not getting further solution.

Hi,
Before further discuusing your issue, can you tell us that is this the first time you are facing this issue, while running the MRP, or is it the first time the material is undergoing MRP run??
a) Has this material underwent any MRP run before?
b) what is procurement type? (though this is silly question to ask but...)
c) can you check the stock of the material for which you are doing MRP run. (coz MD03 is single item, single level)
d) MRP Type and lot size?
Rest all is already being suggested to you, like checking the planning file, if entry not maintained then please maintain the entry in planning file.

Is it possible to remove planned orders from Receipts in MD04?

displayed without any filter option in MD04.

For ROH system not creating planned order

Hi PP gurus,
Can anybody tell me that system is not generating planned order for raw material but generating it for its Fert of which it is a bom component. For fert it is giving exception message 62.I checked material master MRP type-M0 FOR FERT MATERIAL
MRP type-PD FOR RAW MATERIAL
pLANNING TYPE FENCE IS ALSO MAINTAINED AS 14 days for raw material

with which transaction code r u running the MRP??
as per my knowledge u must be doing it with the MD02 with finished product at the header level.
just try this, run the MRP for the Raw material since you are having the dependant requirement with the -ve value, it will create the palnned order.
i am not remebering what is issue?? there is something theorotical,
u just try this
i wil let u knwo furhter once u get the planned order.
in MPS, i am doubtful that it will go for multilevel, thats why its creating only dependant requirement.
you try to run the MRP thr MD01 then u ill get the order.

MRP batch job not creating planned orders

Hi Experts,
Can anyone help with suggestions of where/what to look at with this situation. My MRP background (batch) job is not creating planned orders for materials in certain MRP planning areas as expected, but will create planned orders in other MRP planning areas. Running MD01 or MD03 creates planned orders for materials in all MRP planning areas of the plant as expected.

Any time you get a difference between interactive MRP and batch MRP, first look to the planning file.
Start out by finding some of the discrepant parts (no planned orders are being created) Review for the presence of a planning file entry in MD21. If an entry does not exist, create one in MD20. If an entry does exist in MD21, but there is nothing in the NETCH/ NETPL/reset ord/reexpl bom cols, then this means no relevant changes have taken place, and NETCH MRP will ignore the parts. You can optionally reset these flags in MD21.
If you discover that you have one material for which there is nothing in MD21 (no record at all), then you probably have others as well. Run MDAB in Background, which will mass create all the missing entries. Also a good idea to run MDRE in case something has been corrupted.

MRP Run can not create Planned order to Sales order

Hi,
I have a problem with planning run to sales order. We have a configurable material which have make to order strategy. MRP Run does not create planned order to some of our sales order. I think it has relation with schedule lines but i can not understand the problem.
If schedule line has 1 as confirmed quantity MRP run can not plan but 0 as confirmed quantity MRP Run creates planned order. How can i solve this problem?

Hi,
Order for which qty is confirming, check which schedule line is determined and which requirement type system is determining.
then in VOV6 for schedule line tick mark availability check & Transfer of requirement
for requirement class OVZG tick mark availability check & Transfer of requirement
Note: if schedule line is not relevent for availability check & ToR then system always defaul confirm quantity.

Create refurbishment order from planned order at MD04

dear all,
we are converting refurbishment order from planned order usin MD04 (stock requirement lis). when we convert it, there is a error number IW828 with message
serial number profile is assigned to material X. serialization is obligatory for the serialization procedure considered here.
its appear after we save it.
but system still create the refurbish order.
did someone know where i can put the S/N without entering refurbisment order change menu or (IW32)

You can contorl it by authorization (Remove Authorization of CO01 of users )
The orders created through MRP are having referance of planed order in addational data tab

when log on Workspace to access Planning:
its show showing
Navigate ->Administration->User management
instead if Select Navigate > Applications > Planning
and iam not getting planning Applications when Log on Work space
I have Just Installed Essbase and Planning into my machine .. and i have opened work space area and

From config utility, did you create an instance before trying to access.
I mean "product instance registration" and "data source configuration"

Not able to convert planned order via MD04 to PROD ORD

Hello Exoerts,
In MD04 transaction
I need to launch the material ARXXXXXXX-AR in production
I am selecting the planned order - 3YYYYYYY0
I am clicking on the convert to Production Order button.
I am getting the first message :
Error during availability check. for the order % 00000000001 u2013 (refer journal)
I validate the message and I have another message:
Material missing for the order (refer log)
I decide to launch the order with the missing one, and I again get the Error message of during availability check, and there, I get blocked and I cannot go further .. I cannot launch my PO.
Kindly help me on this.

Hi,
Porblem is with material availability check. Check in OPJK and find what checking rule you have define for your order type for order creation and release.
second thing you have to do is go to material master of your all bom components and find out checking group (mrp3) and then check in opjj whether checking control for the combination of checking group (material master) and checking rule (order type) is
maintain or not. If not then maintain it.

Order reservation should not get planned in mrp run

Hello friends,
Actually for a finished material i have created one production order by CO01.Because of it for semi finished material system created order reservation.I dont have any stock of semi finished material.Now i want while running the mrp run system should not planned this Order reservation of semifinished material.For these in configuration of availability check (Scope of check T.C OPJJ), I made the settings that system should not consider reservation (i deactivated the tick for include reservation) and for include depend reservation , i selected Donot check.And all these settings i made in checking group 02 and checking rule PP.After doing all these settings than also system is considering the order reservation for semifinished material and generating the planned order for it.
Do i need to do any other configurations?

Hi Jitendra,
Checking Control (OPJJ) has no relation with MRP.It is useful in the case of Plan and Production / Process Order only to find out Missing part.
Now come to MRP again.
You have a choice of only 3 type of stocks to include or exclude them during MRP run while rest of the things like (PO,PR,Reservation etc are consider by default)
Go to OPPQ and after selecting Plant go to Available Stock.You will find that options,
- Stock in Transfer
- Block Stock
- Restricted Stock.
And one more thing Reservation is not a available stock but its one kind requirement and if there is no stock then system will activate the Planning file entry and during next MRP run it will generate Planning proposal also.

Is it possible to get planned orders by checking the capacities

Dear experts,
Can u please help on the following case!
when we do MRP run for any material, planned orders are getting generated on the particular date as per our PIR. once we got the planned order, we are converting to production orders to the defined date.
Is it possible to get the production order dates by checking work centre capacities?
even if capacity is full, production orders are getting generated on the particular day,we are not able to produce the item as defined on the day as capacity is full on the workcentre.ultimately customer is not happy as dispatch is not taking place in time.
how will we configure this case in the system to enable timely dispatches or timely intimation to the customers for delay in dispatch?

Planned order in md04

Hi,
My client's requirement is :
They give demand in MD61 for the months ex. 3000 in March, 4000 in April, 4500 in May, 3500 in June and so on.
Client also maintain scheduling agreements for the current month, Say 450 qty for the month of March( i.e current month). Now when i run MRP, system creates planned orders for :
450 qty for March
2550 qty for March
4000 qty for april
4500 qty for May
3500 qty for June.
My client wants that after MRP run, system should only consider scheduling agreement qty for the current month and NOT the Demand management qty. In my current example, system should show following requirement:
450 qty for March
4000 qty for april
4500 qty for May
3500 qty for June.
On april 1, they will create scheduling aggreemnt for april month say 350 qty.Now after MRP run, system should show:
3650 qty for april
4500 qty for May.
3500 qty for June.
In other words, for current month MRP should generate requirement only as per scheduling agreement and NOT from MD61. for rest of the month , from Demand Mangement.

Hi all,
I understand what you guys suggest.But this is my clients requirement.
They prepare a scheduling aggreement which refers to confirmed orders.
They prepare on the monthly basis.for example on April 1 they will make a scheduling aggreement of say 240 quantities( this refers to to confirmed orders) But at the same time they would have already run MRP by giving requirements like april 500, may 600, june 700.
But after running MRP ,for the month of April , MD04 shows planned orders for 240 quantities( scheduling aggrement) as well as 500-240=260 qty.Client says , they dont want to have planned orders of 260 qty in MD04.Only 240 qty to be seen in MD04

Batches not getting for order components at time of order creation

Hi Folks,
My requirement is that when I create a production order and save automatic batch determination should take place for all components. For this I have done all the settings for eg
1) Assigment of batch search proceduree to order type
2) Define batch search strategy,procedure , condition , access sequence
3) Create batch strategy record for order type/ plant/component by COB1
4) Create sort rule and assign to batch strategy record
5) Batch classification is there and value of the sort chracteristic is populated in all batches
6) There is enough available stock in the batch at that storage location
But batch field is not getting populated .. Even if I press the batch determintion button manually
on the component overview screen batch selection screen is appearing but no batches are getting determined for selection .I have checked the selection criteria and it is correct and I was expecting batch 'ZSWETA' to b determined as it is satisfying the selection criteria. I am really wondering why this is happening as I have done all the required config settings but batch determination is not happening..
Can you please help me out of this...

kindly check the following things-:
Material master -: Purchasing View tick in check box of Batch Management
MRP 2 -:Batch Entry(Select 3-Auto Batch entry on Release)
Work Scheduling -: Batch Entry & Batch Management.

Vendor not getting purchase order automatically by E-Mail .

Dear All ,
User hd crtd a Purchase Order for merchandising catalogue , but user notices that vendor had not get the purchase order thru e mail , althought i hv chkd in messages , then it is found that the output is successfullt processed , here the medium is External .As per user , he says that creator of P.O is having always a problem when creating merchadising Purchase Order .
Any relevant help will be appreciated .

Hello Sap11,
Please make sure that the 'sender' (e.g. user, that creates PO) has got a valid email address in the user master record (SU01).
Also, try to send from the users Id a test mail to a valid internet email address.
You could do this via SBWP --> New message. The recipient should be the valid email address and the 'Recip. type' = Internet.
This should create an entry in SAPConnect (SCOT).

Get planned order number(PLNUM) or requirement number(RSNUM) of a BOM item

Hi everyone!
I have a material...viewing it at MD16..i can now see the stock/requirements list displayed in a tree. Now i have below hierarchy:
material 1       ----> has                planned order number
       material 2 ------> has           requirement number
             material 3 ------> has       planned order/requirement number
             material 4 ------> has       planned order/requirement number
material 5 ------> has       planned order
material 6 ------> has       planned order
using the planned order number of material 1 in the BOM, i was able to get the requirement number of material 2, what i want to know is how to get the requirement number of the next level under material 2...that is, the planned order/requirement number of material 3, material 4 ....
