  • Visual Composer objects getting locked

    Hi All,
    I have been facing one problem from last few days.
    Sometimes the objects which I am working on get locked and even if I log off completely. And try to open the same object , the object open only in read-only mode.
    But to mention one more thing that the same objects are sometimes available in editing mode on the next day or after some time.
    Is there a way around to deal with this issue.
    I will appreciate your answers.
    Regards
    Rahul Bindroo

    Did you not understand my last posting? I can't help you unless you respond to what I've asked.
    What do you mean when you say "locked".
    What are you attempting to do, and are you doing it on development or on the quality server?

  • Is it possible to get locked objects in passed time?

    Hi,
    I would like to get locked objects in passed time. The oracle version is 9i.
    For example,
    Can I get a list locked objects five days ago? Because I would like to keep locked objects statistics?
    Does these information stored?
    regards,

    Hi,
    your best shot is ASH (active session history). It contains information about active sessions, their wait events, wait times, blockers, objects accessed, SQL running etc. For recent events you may query V$ACTIVE_SESSION_HISTORY, if you are interested in older data then you can try
    looking in DBA_HIST_ACTIVE_SESS_HISTORY.
    There are many limitations when analyzing ASH data, such as:
    1) limited retention time
    2) periodic sampling (you won't be able to see anything that falls in between snapshots)
    3) bias towards longer events
    etc.
    so you need to be careful when analyzing these data.

    Nikolay

  • To get Lock object for Standard Table

    Hi all,
    i want to update table FKK_GPSHAD,so i need corresponding lock object for this table.can any one sughgest me the solution for this.
    Thanks in advance,...

    Hi,
    Lock objects are use in SAP to avoid the inconsistancy at the time of data is being insert/change into database.
    SAP Provide three type of Lock objects.
    Read Lock(Shared Locked)
    protects read access to an object. The read lock allows other transactions read access but not write access to
    the locked area of the table
    Write Lock(exclusive lock)
    protects write access to an object. The write lock allows other transactions neither read nor write access to
    the locked area of the table.
    Enhanced write lock (exclusive lock without cumulating)
    works like a write lock except that the enhanced write lock also protects from further accesses from the
    same transaction.
    You can create a lock on a object of SAP thorugh transaction SE11 and enter any meaningful name start with EZ Example EZTEST_LOCK.
    Use: you can see in almost all transaction when you are open an object in Change mode SAP could not allow to any other user to open the same object in change mode.
    Example: in HR when we are enter a personal number in master data maintainance screen SAP can't allow to any other user to use same personal number for changes.
    Technicaly:
    When you create a lock object System automatically creat two function module.
    1. ENQUEUE_<Lockobject name>. to insert the object in a queue.
    2. DEQUEUE_<Lockobject name>. To remove the object is being queued through above FM.
    You have to use these function module in your program.
    check this link for example.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/cf/21eea5446011d189700000e8322d00/content.htm
    tables:vbak.
    call function 'ENQUEUE_EZLOCK3'
    exporting
    mode_vbak = 'E'
    mandt = sy-mandt
    vbeln = vbak-vbeln
    X_VBELN = ' '
    _SCOPE = '2'
    _WAIT = ' '
    _COLLECT = ' '
    EXCEPTIONS
    FOREIGN_LOCK = 1
    SYSTEM_FAILURE = 2
    OTHERS = 3
    if sy-subrc 0.
    MESSAGE ID SY-MSGID TYPE SY-MSGTY NUMBER SY-MSGNO
    WITH SY-MSGV1 SY-MSGV2 SY-MSGV3 SY-MSGV4.
    endif.
    Normally ABAPers will create the Lock objects, because we know when to lock and how to lock and where to lock the Object then after completing our updations we unlock the Objects in the Tables
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/cf/21eea5446011d189700000e8322d00/content.htm
    purpose: If multiple user try to access a database object, inconsistency may occer. To avoid that inconsistency and to let multiple user give the accessibility of the database objects the locking mechanism is used.
    Steps: first we create a loc object in se11 . Suppose for a table mara. It will create two functional module.:
    1. enque_lockobject
    1. deque_lockobject
    before updating any table first we lock the table by calling enque_lockobject fm and then after updating we release the lock by deque_lockobject.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/cf/21eea5446011d189700000e8322d00/content.htm
    GO TO SE11
    Select the radio button "Lock object"..
    Give the name starts with EZ or EY..
    Example: EYTEST
    Press Create button..
    Give the short description..
    Example: Lock object for table ZTABLE..
    In the tables tab..Give the table name..
    Example: ZTABLE
    Save and generate..
    Your lock object is now created..You can see the LOCK MODULES..
    In the menu ..GOTO -> LOCK MODULES..There you can see the ENQUEUE and DEQUEUE function

  • SOAP to IDocs Scenario...IDocs getting locked at SAP

    Dear Experts
    We are sending measuring point details to SAP system from 3rd Party. Scenario is working fine for small amount of load. If more number of messages triggered (say 100) IDocs at SAP are getting stuck u201CMeasPoint 10000211 currently locked -> document processing not possibleu201D.
    I tried configuring Sender SOAP adapter as EOIO and specified the Queue name as Test Queue. Still IDocs are getting stuck at SAP ECC. Now one more issues messages are getting stuck in queue SMQ2. We can control the flow by using BPM in PI. I donu2019t want to use BPM for this. Can we control this from SAP or using Trigger by background program in Partner profiles?
    Please suggest. Thank You.
    SAP Error Details:-MeasPoint 10000211 currently locked -> document processing not possible
    Message no. IR007
    Diagnosis
    The object you want to access is locked, either
    u2022     By yourself in another session, or
    u2022     By another user
    u2022     or by the system, which is still processing data for this object
    System Response
    The system cannot access the object.
    Procedure
    u2022     If you are locking the object yourself in another session, exit processing in the other session and continue processing in this session.
    u2022     If the object is locked by another user, you can
    o     contact the other user
    o     wait until the other user has finished processing the object
    u2022     If the object is locked because the system is still processing its data, wait a while, and then call up the object again.

    1. Create a new process code "Z" and check the enque state of the objects before passing back to standard processing modules. Id also change to process immediate as part of this change
    or
    2. I think assuming RBDAPP01 is still used you may be able to make use of an exit there to do the same thing .. check and wait before processing.
    or
    3. In message mapping place a UDF that has some kind of wait timer in it (this is random and wont always work cause you wont know when the lock is dropped) but should work.
    or
    4. Dont use IDOC's create an abap proxy to do the work as a sync process. Processing will need to finish in the proxy and return to the PI stack before the next message is processed in the EOIO queue - this would be the prefered option as far as im concerned, it guarenteed to work and as long as your proxy sticks to the standard rouintes it should be upgrade friendly.
    or
    5. Use a proxy as above but dont do any processing, just use the proxy to build the IDOC and post it - then check the status of the locks until you are ready then rinse and repeat ..... but like scratching your right ear with your left hand .. but it will work.

  • The requested object is locked by another transaction

    Hi All,
    I got a problem while loading data from an ODS to another ODS, it shows 450 records but request is red, it says
    'The requested object is locked by another transaction'
    Message no. MC602
    Diagnosis
    A lock requested by calling an ENQUEUE function module cannot be provided because the object in question has already been locked by its own transaction.
    Technical Information: The C_ENQUEUE routine returns the following values:
    COLLISION_OBJECT = ERSMONFACT
    COLLISION_UNAME = SINGH
    System response
    The ENQUEUE function module triggers an appropriate exception. If this exception was not intercepted by the application program, it leads automatically to the active SAP transaction being cancelled.
    Procedure
    Once the ENQUEUE function module is called, the application program should intercept this exception and react to it appropriately.
    I tried SM12 but there is no lock entry, can u suggest some thing?
    Regards,

    Hello,
    here your dso seems to be lock as some read and write opertaion is happening at the time u r running the dtp.
    Here two things to look :
    1.Check the error that ur getting while running a dtp the process monitor etc try to find the request id which has locked the dso . Copy that request id go to t-code RSRQ see whats this request who is user,target etc..contact user for cancelling the job if it has been stuck for long long time. Copy the JOB ID from  RSRQ for that rquest go to SM37 give the date as there in RSRQ and kill the job
    2.GO to SM12 try to search the object there and remove the lock.
    Thanks,
    Deepak

  • ** SMQ2 - Object is locked by PIAFUSER - Message Has Errors

    Hi Friends,
    In SXMB_MONI, for a particular message, in the Queue column, we have 'red color' time bomb symbols. It shows 'Message Has Error'. When we double click the queue. we can see an error message 'Object is locked by PIAFUSER'. So, how to solve this problem and restart the message ?
    Kindly help friends.
    Kind Regards,
    Jeg P.

    Hi
    1)  clear the queues in SMQ2,first try to activate them,if that doesn't work them delete them
    2)You may need to re-register your queues.
    Follow SXMB_ADM -> Manage Queues -> Deregister Queues
    Afterwards, re-register the queues and activate from the same screen
    3)Only use SMQ1 (outbound queues) and SMQ2 (inbound queues) if re-registering doesn't fix it. You will need to give the queues sometime to get activated so be patient.
    4)From SXMB_MONI go to Queue ID of the message, a click here shall take you to qRFC monitor.
    if the messages are stuck, you should see an entry indicating number of messages stuck in the queue.
    a double click on the entry shall take you to detailed list.
    if the messages are stuck because of any error (other than queue not registered etc for e.g. a message failure) then the first message shall show you that.
    if indeed you find a message stuck in the queue then the way is to delete the stuck message (DONT DO THIS IN PRODUCTION SERVER without being sure of what does this mean for that particular process !!) and unlock the queue from previous screen.
    5)Go to smq2 and execute F8. Then it should come as Nothing was Selected.
    If any queues are present then open a queue.if the status is SYS ERROR check the entries,right click on the status text and give save LUW.This brings queue to READY. .
    GoTo-> Qin Scheduler: check for the scheduler status to be inactive->Edit-> Activate Scheduler: status frm inactive to starting to wait.Now the queue will be RUNNING.U can see the entries in the queue moving.
    Now go to SMQ3, right click on the queue and give Restore LUW.
    6)this basically means tht message is waiting in the queue.
    in sxmb_moni go to queue Id column and double click on the entry .It will take u to SMQ2.Check the status of the queue
    If its SYSFAIL or STOP then double click on it and try to correct the error.After correcting the error send the message again.Also check whether the Queeu is Registred in transaction SMQR.
    7)Select your queue form the sxmb_moni, you will reacht he QRFC monitor.
    Here you will see some lock figures on the , Select on the 'Unlock Queues'. Activate your queues once again.
    This is if your data is correct and queue is stuck. You should only delete the queue if it has errored out due to incorrect data and you need to urgenetly process the rest of the data in the queue.
    If you drill down one step more than selct the error message and on the menu select edit-->Save LUW.
    thanq

  • Is there way to get lock holder by row id?

    My problem is that sometimes some rows get locked for long time and I don't know who holds lock.
    Ideally I want query which takes table_name and primary key value and outputs lock holder information. (e.g sql text, how long query is being running, etc)
    I've found in documentation that there is no central place where row locks are stored and that this is row level metadata.
    My question is: Can I get this row level metadata somehow for concrete row? (I believe this should be possible)
    My usecase would be as follows:
    1. try to get lock for row for id=#N (select for update semantics, actually hibernate is used for that but it shouldn't make difference here)
    2. get error (now i'm getting ORA-00054: resource busy and acquire with NOWAIT specified or timeout expired)
    3. This step is what I want to add. Get information about lock holder for row with id=#N and write it into log file.
    Here is query I was playing with which outputs general information about transactions having locks but it's not what I need in terms of row level locking:
    select a.sql_text, l.ctime, s.STATUS, s.SQL_EXEC_START, s.PROGRAM from
    v$lock l join v$session s on (l.sid = s.sid)
    join v$sqlarea a on (a.hash_value = s.sql_hash_value)
    where l.type='TX' and l.lmode>0;

    Welcome to the forum!
    Whenever you post provide your 4 digit Oracle version.

    See this Oracle Magazine article.

    >
    You can find the specific row that is locked by first finding the table containing that row. To find that table, use the same V$SESSION view; in this case, the information is in the ROW_WAIT_OBJ# column, which shows the object number of the table whose row is being locked. You can then get the name of the table from the DBA_OBJECTS view, using this object number, as shown in Listing 3.

  • Object is locked ( Plan ver.,obj.ty.,obj.ID )

    Hi Experts ,
    I got one message while processing IDOC like " A lock key has been set for the object.The object is : plan version,Object Type,Object ID."...If anyone knows,plz guide me....

    Hello
    The reason why you get this lock error could be that someone was locking it when the IDOC was posted. Or it could also be that the object is sent in several IDOCs, and the object is locked in one IDOC so if the second IDOC is also sending the object, it is not fully posted as it was locked in the first one. In that case please check [SAP note 418212|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/418212].
    Best regards

    Can you please let us know the transaction code the user is executing??
    Is it a configuration transaction code or easy access transaction code.

  • Why orders gets locked in Queue's

    Dear all,
    Could you please help me to know why orders gets locked on Queue's as well SMCL trasaction.
    what is the route cause for that? and is there any why we can unlcok automatically with a program?
    please suggest me.
    Thanks for your help.
    Regards,
    Shaik

    Hi Shaik,
    Orders you are seeing in SMCL transaction is Cross System Locks. When Scenario A is activated, then Cross System Locks must be activated.  This locks will be released automatically from the system when the transaction is completed successfully in ECC & CRM.
      You are not supposed to remove the locks for the orders from SMCL transaction directly. First analyze the issue with the order. If any issue in order replication from CRM to ECC or vice versa Cross system lock will not release automatically.
         For example, from SMCL take one order and analyze the order in ECC & CRM, definately you should see the difference in ECC and CRM order.
      Some times Cross System Locks will not be released, if updates are not coming to CRM from ECC, better check filters in SALESDOCUMENT middleware object for the sales document types.

    Hi,
    I have created a project with 500 WBS and 800 activities.
    Now while creating a new activity and saving the project,its getting saved and the project gets locked.(only display mode)
    In SM12 the locked objects are ESORDER,EC_PROJ,EMRKPF.
    What might be the reason for it?

    Hi,
    Please let us know how was the issue resolved.?

  • AD account getting locked out after password change in Jabber

    When user changes his network credentials and does not update them in Jabber. Jabber will still try to connect to phone services and voicemail with the old credentials which is leading to their account getting locked in AD after three attempts.
    We are using Jabber 9.6.1, so a fairly new version.
    Can some suggest if there is a workaround?

    Hi,
    We are seeing a similar issue after the user has changed their AD password the account repeatedly gets locked out when they try to log into Jabber.
    We are also using Cisco IM&P and our CUCM is LDAP synced
    I am interested to know why you are asking if LDAP authentication is configured?
