OK, One question at a time here, trying to get help

I probably asked too many questions to get some help. so I will start over. Using ipod shuffle I got in 2007, have not used in a year or so. Now it is not working.
When I connect to electricity, it shows a steady green light, telling me it is charged. Same when I connect it to my computer, steady green light.
When I disconnect from electricty and or computer, the green light goes out, even though it is set as on. I can push any button, play, etc, and I get a green light for a second then it immediately goes orange, green, orange, green and orange. Then no lights at all. So this is what it is doing
1. green for a second
2. orange for a second
3. green for a secong
4. orange for a secong
5. no light at all.
Can anyone tell me what is wrong???

That light blinking sequence might mean that the 'pod is set in shuffle mode and all of the files on it are flagged "skip when shuffling" - FYI most if not all Podcast files are flagged in this way. First thing to try is to move the switch from Shuffle to Continuous play. Any difference?

     Now like many other people I bought a large number of cards as well, and although for a second I thought it might be a 5 minute gimmick type deal when I saw how long the deal stayed alive and heard of the number of cards people were buying I knew it was a mistake.  However, I fail to comprehend how it was allowed to stay up for several hours without interruption.  Now I normally love bestbuy, and I am an--elite plus member so clearly you know where I go to spend my cash on tech--and I fully recognize that honoring all these certificates would be absurd and bankrupt the company and a handful of our working population, but I do think any respectable company that makes such a mistake ought to OUTRIGHT apologize in the email, rather than attempting to obfuscate or misdirect the issue almost as if to suggest it was not Best buys own mistake.  The first email I received also made some reference to not being able to verify my identity and seemed to imply that somewhow I had made a mistake, however, I think on future revisions they did convey a more diplomatic message.  Still, I feel an apology should've been made in the email itself, and also feel that any respectable company that knows it depends on consumers should at least offer a small token gesture of something as little as 5 dollars off next purchase or free shipping on next order as a gesture to show the customer appreciation and also apologize for the mistake. Moreover, I have to say I have become increasingly frustrated shopping at best buy lately, as I feel any effort to discuss/explore pricematching on any product is met with overt disgust, frustration, and in my experience on several occasions, blatant efforts to escape my presence.  This is not always the case of course, but I have also had managers rudely and angrily brush off my efforts to explain the presence of a significant discounted price at a reputable dealer like newegg and most recently had a manager tell me if I wanted the SD card I could buy it at the 4th of july price, or I should just go buy it at new egg.  As an elite plus member, best buy credit card holder, loyal patron for almost all my purchases, and a stock holder, I really felt ashamed and humiliated to endure such treatment and am now strongly reconsidering going into the store anymore as I feel a sense of anxiety attempting to find a product I want at a good price. That experience really left a bad taste in my mouth, and after attempting to discuss the matter with customer support on the occasion it occured on July 5th or so (during which time I made a 800 dollar purchase), I first spoke to a nice man who helped me merge my regular account, rewards account, and credit account, and then he transferred me to customer service to discuss the managers rude behavior as well as the pricematch opportunity he clearly deprived me of (14 $ is a lot when you're spending a lot of money at best buy and the price match is so proudly touted on all the commercials and really the only reason that best buy has been able to compete against Amazon and reemerge as a strong player in the market),  and I was assured a call back and never called.....  Since I have 45 days to return items, another reason I love best buy in additon to being able to go and play with the tech at the stores, I decided to wait and called again today as I had ordered about 80 of those cards and felt that I at least should be offered 1 card as a token gesture of my patronage to the store and in apology for the error and for also essentially leaving about 1000 dollars of my cash in the netherworld of finance until it comes back to my account.  SO on my call today, as I began to explain my representative was initially very kind and understanding but flatly told me all she could do was take notes, so I asked to speak to a supervisior.  I waited for roughly 35 minutes, after which time I heard a women pick up the phone, mumble/exchange words and then hang up.  OMFG.  I called back, only to wait another 35-45 minutes before I oculd hear the phone being answered and then the automated male voice abruptly tell me to call tomorrow as they had been closed.  REally, why make me wait 45 minutes AGAIN??  This is really starting to shake my perception of best buy and on top of that I was not able to get corporates number, so can someone please let me know how I can get intouch with someone who might give a moment's consideration to hardworking, contributing customer?

    Additonally, at this point I really want to talk to someone who cares about how a customer like I might feel in such a situation and when I call corporate would like to talk to someone who is interested in hearing my input as it really sucks to think I really don't feel like going to the store anymore and would rather just buy stuff on amazon or newegg these days instead;/  When I know how much i used to enjoy going into the store and getting friendly with kind staff who worked with me to get the best deal on the items I got--perhaps this was because it was at a more desperate time when Best Buys fate as a company was more precarious prior to price matching taking origin.  Also, on an aside, would like to add that obviously there is always the one or two people who go out of their way to make sure you have an excellent expeirenece so I am not trying to make any sweeping generalizations here.  In fact, I find the forum contributors to be among the most kind and helpful, but that might be because they don't have to deal with the now seemingly dreaded "pricematch" epidemic;D

    Create two Quickpoll with different campaign name and start ongoing..
    Next create  iview for each quickpoll by using KM QuickPoll iView Template  enter the corresponding campaign name for the quickpoll iview.
    Next create one JspDynPage component in NWDS
    In that JSP file
    <iframe  src="Give the preview path of Quickpoll iView 1" align="left" >
    </iframe>
    <iframe  src="Give the preview path of Quickpoll iView2 " align="left" >
    </iframe>
    Now u create one iview for that JspDynPage component
    in that two Quickpoll question will display in one iView..

    Just trying to get help in auto lock it is not an options for (never) on 4s or new i pad 2 both are a mirror of each other it seems I have had problems with this phone from day 1 all up dates have been installed. Calling the support line is good if you get someone that is advance and that is not worried about there call time which I may have to do however I do know that this site is great help any help will be appreciated. This is my husband phone and I pad  we purchased both phones @ the same time I have his older I pad he was given a new one for work which is the latest HELP please thanks. No problems with my phone or pad.

    I have a Dell U3014 as well as a couple of older Dells turned up sideways as "ears".
    Other than supplying the desktop "theme" (if you can call a complete lack of style along with a fair bit of inconsistency a "theme"), the OS really shouldn't be causing you to have a washed-out desktop experience.  That's more a
    matter of your display driver not really doing its job.  What video card do you have?
    FYI, one of the reasons I like Aero Glass for Win 8.1 (a 3rd party package) is that it allows me to make the desktop more pleasant to use and helps set the client areas (i.e., where work gets done) apart from the window chrome.
    From what I can see, the color-management logic in Windows 8.1 is essentially unchanged from what it was in Windows 7.  That there has been NO progress in this area is really a disappointment.  It's an area where Microsoft has again just stopped
    trying to make improvements.
    If it's at all interesting to you, here's a screen grab of a REALLY cluttered up desktop.  I don't normally work this way; this was an exercise to see how much I could get running.  I finally gave up starting more stuff as I grew tired

  • Photoshop CC 2014 freezes after 20 minutes of use. I can only minimize it. It even crashes sometimes. Trying to get help from Photoshop GPU FAQ but in vain.

    I have formatted my laptop, Reinstalled all my Adobe softwares and still the same problem continues.
    Photoshop sometimes gets stuck in between while working no matter what the file size and dimensions. Its not about lagging. The screen is just stationary and I can't access any of Photoshop's commands for the stationary period of some seconds or a minute. I can only minimize it. Photoshop even crashes at times.
    I have latest wacom drivers installed 5.3.5-5, Bamboo dock installed, and NVIDIA, GT 740M version 347.52. I have verified the problem with Wacom but they say the tablet doesn't have a problem. I have even tried using Intuos 5. When I use the zoom command with mouse the document zooms in and out continuously without any control.

    If you have both a Nvidia GPU and Intel GPU on your machine have you disabled the Intel GPU in windows Device manager. Adobe in the GPU FAQ clearly state that you may have Photoshop problems if your running machine configuration has multiple GPU that are  different GPU.

    How on earth do you get help with a general enquiry by phoning BT?  All I get is multiple choices to connect and not one of those multiple choices allow anyone to connect to an operator if the question you have is not included in those multiple choices.

    I tried to download an update for Adobe to view Youtube. I bought a new computer and needed the download. I went through all the steps and got to the section of reading the license agreement. However, look as I did, there is no place to mark Accept the license agreement so I can proceed to download the update. Why is this so difficult? And why do you not leave room for a message like this. If the problem is not one you define, then there is no way to write the question the user has.   • We own 5 Apple devices but for some reason I cannot get iTunes to recognize one of the iPads.  The other 4 show up just fine and we can sync and do all the stuff we are supposed to do, but this one device is never recognized.  Tried everything.  Help!

  • Server not found pops up several times when trying to get anywhere.

    Every time I click on the Mozilla Firefox icon to bring up the basic page with the Google bar and I enter a Q for my home page or a Q for my university (Grand Canyon), which uses Firefox, hence my reason for using Firefox, or even if I am just using the Google to search for something, I get a pop up that tells me that the server cannot be found. In the box it shows "server cannot find" then there is some strange looking address with symbols and boxes. I click the x's and often will find my page under all of this, but it all repeats with each step, so I exit completely and just go back to using my old internet explorer. Is this like I need to re-subscribe? or is it something else?

    Well I can see that this is no help either as I am not getting a response here nor any help with this matter. I will not bother you again and I will now stick to internet explorer to connect me to the internet. Thanks anyway. Bye.

    If the card hasn't been activated properly then have you tried taking it back to the store that you bought it from and asking them to activate it properly ?
    How have you tried to contact iTunes Support ? You should be able to do so via this page (you will probably need to give them images of the front and back of the card, and possibly its receipt) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then iTunes Cards And Codes. If that page doesn't load then have you tried clearing your browser's cache/history and/or tried a different browser ?
