Order block over credit limit

I would like how to block the order creation while the customer credit limit is over. I've updated customer credit limit use fd32, then create SO, but the SO still be created. How can I block it. thanks!

Hi
In the pricing procedure used for pricing, subtotal "A" must be entered in a line for
determining the credit value (mark the pricing procedure and doubleclick on "Control").
Usually, the net value plus taxes is used. This way the system is determined to use this
subtotal for credit pricing. The credit price is stored in field VBAP-CMPRE and used for
    update and credit check.
You can find the used pricing procedure of the order under "Item -> Condition -> Analysis".
    Pricing procedure:
    Line with subtotal = 'A':
Pls check the same
If dynamic credit limit is used check the horizon period and if the delivery falls after the horizon period the system will not consider the order for credit check

  • Sales order is blocking while credit limit is exceeded ...

    Dear Friends ,
Client issue  regarding credit management ,
all customers are defined under low risk category ,
in OVA8 transaction code we activated
    i) For Static credit check : reaction D & status Block checked & open orders , open deliveries are blocked
ii) For Oldest open items :  reaction D & status Block checked & days oldest item 10 days
    Issue is ,
while creating a sales order pop-showing credit limit is exceeded but it is not blocking the sales order , some not blocking the delivery .  It is showing only pop-up for when it is in periods from 10-60 days in F.31 transaction code  . requirement is it should be blocked .
    Please respond asap ...
    thanks in advance ...

    Dear,
Oldest open Item check works as follows.
Say, you have set the Oldest Open Item indicator with D and Block (activated) and Days oldestItem as 1.
Then, the system will check if there are any any open accounting documents (billing documents which accounting document is created and not cleared) - and will consider the bill due date too, and will validate, if there are any open items which has crossed the billing due date, and that cross count is greater than the one mentioned in OVA8.. If any such document is there, then it will block the sales document..
    say: Billing date: 10/10/ 2011
Payment terms: due in 10 days
Then, this will be treated as oldest open item after 20/10/2011..
If you are creating document on 22/11/2011, the system will block the new order as this document exceeds the count (count in OVA8 is 1; whereas, this document is older than 2 days)..
Hope this clarifies about oldest open item and when the system will block the sales order..
Check in FD10n, this will show you all details clearly..
If the credit block is set, still you are able to create delivery, check any seasonal factor or checks in financial A/R summary is maintained (if anything)..
    thank you

  • Open order value and credit limit used are -ve

    Hi,
We are running into the problem  where there is a negative open order value and orders are bypassing credit hold.
The values are incorrect in the open order value and in the credit limit used.  These both show as negative values, which  is bad.
We have made settings in OVA8 correctly. Is there any other setting should be made in order to block the open order value and credit limit used ????
Thanks in advance. Appreciate if it is replied immediately.

    Hello,
Please take the help of the SD consultant in this regard. Because open orders means there are many like invoiced and not yet delivered. And the credit limit is also part of the SD to check.
Please check in the T.code FD32 to find out the credit limit detials of the customer.
    If helpful pls assign points.

  • Sales order - No Credit block - When credit limit = 0 & Exposure = 0

    Hello,
I have a scenario where, i try to create a sales order for 1000 EUR. I have Credit management activated for the concerned BP. In the main segment, the limit defined is = 0 and credit exposure = 0.
Now when I try to create a SO, it is not going for credit blocked. The 'Overall status of credit limit checks' directly getting to 'D' (=Approved) Status. Please help me to understand what went wrong. Any issue with Credit group or Risk category?
    BR,
    D'nesh

I have Credit management activated for the concerned BP.
Usually we assign the credit limit to Payer customer master. Please check once again.
And please check all your required credit management settings once again.
    For example:
    1. Check whether credit group is assigned to the order type or not? (VOV8)
    2. Check whether credit active field is active or not in respective item category(VOV7)
    3. Check whether Subtotal field A is assigned or not in V/08 for the relevant pricing procedure
    4. Check whether you have assigned the Risk category is assigned or not in FD32 for the payer customer.
    thanks,
    Srinu.

  • Third party order blocked for credit

while creation of  a 3rd party order, at the time of saving it is deleting the created purchase requisition and the document is by default is going to credit block, but the credit limit of the customer is not crossed. he used only 0.05% of his credit limit.

    Hi Kingfire,
System will automatically delete purchase requisition if order is on credit block. For order to be on credit block there could be multiple reasons. Risk category - Document limits are couple of them.
If you release document in VKM3 and run availability it should create PR automatically. If it putting on credit block again which doing Avail. Check.its loop. Check OSS notes or Contact SAP.

  • Incoming orders in COPA not working if Sales Order blocked for Credit Check

    Hi all,
We need to build a report showing all incoming sales order by entry date and/or change date (change of values or quantities later on). COPA allows to do this, but the problem is that COPA line item table is only updated if the sales order is released from credit check (VKM3). I am looking for a solution to be able to record sales orders in COPA even if they are still blocked for credit check. By doing that we will be able to report all sales orders entered from COPA and provide basis for commissions calculation to the business.
I have investigated possible COPA enhancements like COPA0005 but it doesn't seem to be used at the time of sales order save.
    Thanks.

    Hello ,
    Thanks for the reply
As you said , the credit check in the service order is information message "Credit check (maximum percentage for ope
    exceeded)" .
If you enter and come out this message then one more message will come , i.e., "The business transaction can not be carried out" detail message -  System status CNOK is active (ORD XXXXXXX).
with the above message , system will not allow to do the Service order release.
In this particular case , we have done the VKM1 for the sales order to unblock the order from credit check . But again system is checking the credit check at service order (created w.r.t sales order) . we are not able to control this .
we also suggested the solution to the customer , saying removal of credit check for service orders . But customer requires credit check to happen at both the documents.

  • Sales order blocked for credit with status "Payment Terms"

    Hi Experts,
Sales order is blocked for credit, as when i refer the t.code vkm3 or vkm1, the status of blocking showing as "Payment Term". Geenrally the status of credit block would be 'Old item', Dynamic check', value etc.
My question here is how the sales order is blocked with status "Payment Terms", and what is the role of payment terms in credit management.
    regards
    Vivek.

    Hi  Vivek,
The Standard Cr. management  ( Automatic credit check) of SAP has Critical Fields Check - payment terms is one of them,
If it is being changed in sales order (other than maintained in Customer master) the sales order will go for credit block
    Thanks

  • Service order - Blocked for credit check

    Hello ,
I have a scenario where the service order will be created with reference to sales order and the credit check is active both for the sales order and the service order.
we are releasing the sales order from credit block in VKM1 , but still the credit check is not allowing us to release the service order which created with reference to the sales orders .
Now my doubt is , even after releasing the sales order from credit block , why system is stopping or blocking the service order from release.
    Need your inputs in this

    Hello ,

As per my client Credit management Requirement we have configured like ........
For High, Medium and New Risk customer we have configured Automatin credit control at both Credit Group levels 01-Sales Order and 02 - Delivery).
Now based on this at Sales order creation level it is giving the warrning message with value. once i saved the document and release the Credit block I am able to create the Delivery but it is not showing warrning message and it is not blocking the PGI.
My question was as per the configuration (Delivery type has assigned for both Credit groups 02 and 03) it will not work at the Delivery creation lavel once i releases the Credit block at Sales Order level ?
Please let me know your views.....

    2) credit control area + risk category + credit group  02 =deliveries.
    3) credit control area + risk category + credit group03 =post goods issue.

  • Getting a sales order link into Credit Limit Case

    Hi Forum Folks -
Has anyone been successful in adding a linked object - in particular a sales order document - to the standard credit limit increase case (record model)?
If so, can you offer any insight on how you did it?
My business context for background. We're attempting to use the standard UKM_SPS_CASE as our base for taking in a credit limit increase request from a customer. The PROCESSOR field will be used to route the request to the party that will approve it.
In the case where there is a sales order pending, we would like to attach that sales document to the case so that the credit analyst can look at that as well as anything else we choose to attach to the case (usually documents, P&L information, collaterial stuff, etc.). Once the analyst has done their thing, it is either approved or declined. If approved, we are customizing the workflow to automatically set the new limit.
My thanks in advance for any insight you all can offer.
    Dan

    hi Dan,
I believe the process you are refering to is standard in the Document Credit Decision.
This is now available in Enhancement Package 5 .

  • Credit management - one customer for two company, different credit limit

    hi,
customer A in company 1000 and 2000. for example the total credit limit is $10000 for these two companies, customer A with individual limit 6000 in company 1000 and 4000 in company 2000. If i create sales order 1 with value is $7000, then message will  be displayed. however if i create sales order 2 with value $35000 , no message is dispalyed. Is it possible to display message is the total credit limit is over but not individual limit?
And if i create a new customer , and create a sales order with over credit limit and the message is displayed when I save the sales order, but the value is not upated in credit master before i release Sales order. it only happen for the first time i create customer. pls advice
    thanks

    Hello Jo Jo,
it is not possible to check the sales order created in one company against the total
credit limit for the customer . The system checks (in standard) always against the
credit limit maintained for assigned company. The only one way could be to develop your own credit check (OVA8 - userexit 1, 2 or 3).
The part with the credit blocked sales order is correct: if the sales order is credit blocked, it does not update the open credit values, as the credit value will be calculated according the confirmed quantities and the confirmed quantities will be removed in the sales order (in standard) due the credit block. When you release the order in VKM1 or VKM3, the ATP runs and creates the confirmed quantities - as the result the order updates the credit values in FD32.
I hope this information helps you.
    Best regards,
    Lela

  • Auto release of Blocked Sales orders after pmnt or Increase of Credit limit

    Hi
Does anyone know if there is a transaction or something in one of the blocked Order transactions that can be used to auto release orders after either 1 - Monies have been recieved      or   2 - Credit limit has been increased
Scenario we have is several orders have been on block due to credit being over credit limit,
The credit limit has been increased
However these orders are still on the blocked orders report, even tho they are now under the credit threshold
Is there a re-org program to use ?
Is there a setting on the VKm1 transaction to refresh or re-read the credit master FD33 , - as now monies have been received or Credit threshhold has been increased
    Thank you for any information
    Tony

    Hello,
This is not possible because when you created the sales order it has checked the credit limit for that credit limit and if you increase also now that block cant go automatically.
Go to VA02 i.e change mode of sales order and change something and enter may be if you created a order for 2 quantity then go to VA02 and remove the quantity 2 and again type 2 then system will again check for credit and now that is increased so the order will not block..
If this is for many order then you can run changes sales order  BAPI for mass update. Take help from ABAP guys.
    Cheers

  • Credit Limit check on Delivery:: Sales order blocked

    Dear Friends,
We have implemented credit limit check with delivery Block option in Sales order. After revising Credit limit, while user is creating Delivery again, system prompts for Delivery Block in Sales order i.e, reson for Block is Credit limit in Sales Order. then user removes resason and proceeds further.
Is there any way by which system doesn't put reason for rejection in sales order and just not allow to create delivery in system. i.e. we want to remove the step of removing reason from sales order.
    Regards Krishan Raheja

    Dear Krishan,
As per my understanding you require just a credit check in the sales order level, which can be implemented using credit management in sales order level . In that case system will automatically block the sales order if the credit limit is exceeded.
So you do not need a DELIVERY BLOCK reason assigned to your SALES ORDER TYPE in VOV8.
Please clarify, whether you need to block the sales order and delivery due to credit limit...
or is it just sales order which need to be blocked ?
you can get the detailed configuration steps in SDN or the same is as follows.

  • Payment term in the sales order & credit limit exceed.

    Dear Guru,
    Problem 1:
    1. In the sales order, there are 3 lines items. As per there requirement each line item they want enter diffrent payment term.
    for example
            Material code                                              Payment terms
    1.      Fixed                                                               z045
    2.     Variable                                                           z030
    3.    Pipes                                                                 z015
how you can archive this goal. In customer master payment term is maintained only one. Please suggest me.
    Problem 2:
    1. Credit managment, If the credit  block is there in the sales order(Due to credit limit exceed) order confirmation is no goes to customer.
how we can archive this goal  by using the standard functionality.

    Hi,
    1. You can achieve it through manual entries
If you have 3 line item then at item level >> Billing document maintain payment terms
    2. If credit limit exceed then confirmation should not go to customer
Can you tell me currently how you sending confirmation to customers
If it is through simple mail then go to
IMG >> SD >> Basic functions >> Output control >> Output determination using condition techniques >> maintain out put determination for sales document >> maintain out put determination procedure
Select procedure V10000 >> go to control data
for condition type MAIL maintain requirement 9/11
(If this is not work then create new routine and add your logic that if credit limit exceeds then do not(trigger) send confirmation)
