Org Structure Hierarchy info

Hi all ,
I need the CRM org structure ifo reg the root node to sub node levels . I.e where can i get the all the levels information  associated to  root level in the org  .
Is there any FM or table  where I can find the Hierachy  info of the Org .
I am using the tables HRP1000 n HRP10001 to get the OBJ id but how  can i know that the Root level has 2 sub nodes or 4  sub nodes or more or none ?
Please  advice me.

    We have an issue with displaying HR Org unit hierarchy structure between two calendar months.
    The BI Report has a selection parameter to select Org unit hierarchy , Calendar month From and Calendar month To
    The BI Report is to display the no.of sick absence days for employees in a chosen Org unit hier.
    Employee A had a sick absence of 5 days in the month 04.2011 in the Org unit X . The same employee had a sick absence of 4 days in 05.2011.The Org unit X then delimit in 05.2011 , the Org unit X is no longer in Org structure from 05.2011.
    When we run the report for 04.2011 to 04.2011 , the employee A is showing absence under Correct Org unit ie X with correct Org structure .
    When we run the Report for 05.2011 to 05.2011 , the employee A is showing absence under hierarchy Org unit Not assigned which is OK .
    But the issue is when we run the Report from 04.2011 to 05.2011 , The employee A absence days 9 (5 +4 ) showing under Not assigned Org unit hierarchy structure which is the latest Org unit .
    When I deactivate the Org unit hierarchy and choose tech name of Org unit , It is showing correct Org unit key
    But The user would like to see 5 days under org unit X and 4 days under Not assigned with Correct Org unit hier structure when we run the Report from 04.2011 to 05..2011 .
    We have a user Exit variable for the Key date in the Bex Report which seems to be taking only one date at any time .
    Is there any way to get the correct figures under Org unit hier structure where employee had absence in when we put range of calendar months on a selection screen ?
    Any advice appreciated.

    Yes, we can display the same by using time dependent hierachy's i.e. your org is converted to time dependent so that respective employee shows with respective of time.

    Hi,
    You can try adding two more attributes to Org Unit as "Calender month from" and "Calender month to".
    In these attributes maintain the validity period for the corresponding master data.
    For example, in your case you can maintain the master data as:
    Employee | Org Unit | Calender month from |Calender month to | sick absence
    A | X | 4.2011| 4.2011 | 5 days
    A |    | 5.2011 | 05.2011 | 4 days
    And in report use variables for Calender month from" and "Calender month to".
    Hence, when user executes the report with selection as:
    Calender month from" = 04.2011
    "Calender month to"    =  05.2011
    The data will be read from master data based on these selections along with key date and report will show output as expected.
    Employee | Org Unit | Calender month from |Calender month to | sick absence
    A | X | 4.2011| 4.2011 | 5 days
    A |    | 5.2011 | 05.2011 | 4 days

  • Org.units structure/hierarchy

    Hi all,
    I need org.units hierarchy/structure. I think of a table with fields like org.unit id, parent org.unit id. The data should be suitable for building a tree later which will display the org.units hierarchy.
    I read much in the forum, but I didn't find smth helpful.
    Is there a function module which exports such a data?

    Hi!
    Well I don't know any function modules about it. I'm reading them directly from the table HRP1000, HRP1001. It is a bit complicated and requires a few hours till figures out the keys and the hierarchy (OBJID is the upper and SOBID is the lower level) in this table.
    If no one will post a useful function module, you might try these tables.
    I'll check back later maybe I can use a function module, if someone posts one...

  • Not able to see hierarchial org structure by clicking on Expand this branch

    Dear experts,
    I am currently using the Online data extraction via sap for Nakisa Integration with SAP Landscape.
    I have completed the configuration of Nakisa with the help of configuration guide and administrator guide - After completing administrator steps the org chart is visible - When i navigate to the org structure i can see the org unit under the org structure root that i configured as an administrator in the general settings section.
    When i click the + sign ie on expand this branch i am not able to see all teh org units under the displayed branch.
    Can you please guide me regarding how one can view the org structure below the selected branch when i click on expand this branch section.
    Manager Personnel Id is not maintained for this org unit - Should the user clicking on the expand this branch be the manager of the org unit to see the org structure.

    Dear Luke,
    I am not able to see that navigation icons within an org chart box - The org unit that is displayed on clicking the orgchart does have branches in SAP but i am not able to see these navigation icons that lead me to these branches.
    Is there any specific step that needs to be done to see these branches.
    By the way what is the log file you are refering to is it the "PresentationResources.xml " or is it any other log file.

    Hi all,
    Is there any FM who reads the org structure like rh_struc_get  but with extra info like tree/hierarchy :
    For example if  i have the hierarchy : A - O - S - P
    A : Customer object
    O = Organizational unit
    S = job
    P = Person
    I want to see to which organisational unit a person belongs via an evaluation path.

  • Creating Org Structure in OM

    Hi Gurus,
       I am new to SAP HR, and hence pardon me if my question seems very basic. I tried searching for a solution on the forum but couldnt get a decent hit. The question is we have a organization structure as follows:
    Unit
    Function
    Department
    and in some cases teams within departments
    Positions.
    We implement this schema by means of Organizational Unit and Positions. but we are not able to replicate the exact structure in SAP as the levels cannot be defined for Organzational Units. We need this information for reporting purpose when we need to find where exactly a prticular position or employee is in the Org Structure.
    Also there is no way of identifying the managerial poisition of employees in the company. What we get based on reporting structure  is only the employee and his immediate supervisor. We have following Hierarchy in our organization:
    CEO
    Senior Vice President
    Vice President
    Department Manager
    Team Leader
    Employee
    How can we maintain this information in OM? We are struggling with our reporting and help will be highly appreciated.

    from what i understood from what you have wrote here is couple of hint that might help you.
    use PPOCE to create a new root organization i.e. the main organization in the company, if you already did use PPOME to create sub orgs, positions and jobs.
    if you maintain this, you can maintain OM relationships in PO10 "for organization units" PO13 "for positions" and PO03 "for jobs"
    In general, to get the reporting structure "and show whom report to who" you need to maintain couple of relations in OM infotype 1001 "Relationships"
    here is a list of couple of usefull relationship that you need to maintain:
    B|012 is managed by "position"
    B|002 is reports line to "org unit"
    scroll the standard relationships that you might benefit from it.
    Edit: Regarding reporting tools, if the standard reports of SAP didn't satisfy your needs, you always can take help of ABAP'ers to get a custom reporting tools.
    also, you can create custom OM infotypes where you can create what you need from OM structure and tailor it based on your needs.

  • Creat ECM budget structure from current org structure

    Hi all ,
    When we are creating budget heirarchy using "PECM_GENERATE_BUDGET", we want to create it from org structure that is effective on a particular date and not for all org assignments.
    For example :
    For budget effective 01/01/2011 to 12/31/2011.  We may want to create Budget structure from org structure that effective 12/31/2011.
    ( The standard transactcion "PECM_GENERATE_BUDGET" creats structures for all the effective dates )
    Let's say, I have Org units Org1 and Org2 at the same level. Org3 reports to Org1 from 01/01/2011 to 11/20/2011. But effective 12/01/2011, Org 3 reports to Org 2.
    01/01/2011 to 11/30/2011 ->  Org3 reports to Org1
    12/01/2011 to 12/31/9999 ->  Org3 reports to Org2
    When I run ""PECM_GENERATE_BUDGET"" this generates a budget heirarchy, that shows Org3 reporting to both O1 and O2,
    whereas we want Org3 to be just shown in the hierarchy of Org2 ( effective 12/31/2011).
    I see that the FM  "'HR_ECM_GET_OBJECT_STRUCTURE" and "HR_ECM_BUILD_BUDGET_STRUC" generate budget structure, by taking the begin and end date of budget period( 01/01/2011 to 12/31/ 2011) into account  to create the org structure.  But we just want the latest structure effective on a particular date.
    Has any faced this kind of scenario/requirement as this seems to be the standard budget creation functionality.

    Hi - When you are creating budget sturcture based on org. unit the system will create budget structure on the basis of defined budget period
    Pls. try delimiting 01/01/2011 to 11/30/2011 -> Org3 reports to Org1 relationship and create budget structure. I feel you should be fine then.
    which EHP are you in? If you are using EHP 5 its give option to generate top down or bottom up budget structure.

  • Business partner not created when User is intergrated in SRM org Structure

    A new users  in integrated into the SRM org structure thro Z tcode ,business partner is not created.
    the user is not able to create shopping cart.

  • Interface with Peoplesoft for Org structure

    Please let me know if there is way to interface with Peoplesoft to get the org chart (employees and their reporting details along with Org structure) and update the SAP Org hierarchy (PPOME). Any type of interfacing (file, RFCs, real time) options available to achieve this? We have our HR in PeopleSoft but need the Org chart in SAP for workflow and other reasons.
    If any one has done anything similar, please share how it was done. Thank you.

    Hi,
    Could anyone please let me know how to find the infotype records in SRM. I am not sure whether SRM would have infotypes as in R/3 but I know that there is an HR Org structure maintained in SRM.

    it only has organizational infotypes (tables HRP1000 etc.)
    You can simply use program RHINFT00 to find and maintain infotypes, or you can use transaction PPOMA_BBP for OM info

    Hi all,
    can anybody have idea, where do we give authorizations for org structure in (PPOMA_CRM) for different levels?
    To be clear on my question.
    Users will have different views in CIC and authorizations, based on their assignment in org structure at different levels
    now where do we give these authorizations and where can i see the existing authorizations at different levels?

    Hi Raj,
    As per my understanding of your requirement,
    1. The user assigned to the org unit will see only the CIC profile that is assigned to the org unit and this is done by going to the Organization structure, select Go to -> detail-> detail object and then select the CIC profile in the info type.
    So in your case you wanted user A (top level) to create and edit the order, so assign the CIC profile to the top level org unit that has create and edit order profile, so the user assigned to this org unit will be defaulted to the CIC profile assigned.
    Similarily follow the same with the other org units and they will only be able to see what they have to do.
    2. In case if this is not then there are few authorization objects meant for the Org structure and you can select the object (it ends with _OE, _LP etc.. i donot remember the complete name and you can find this in PFCG by selecting the manual option of selection objects and then using value help, you can find the above authorization objects under the CRM application and you can say that the user can only see the documents that are valid for the org units that you enter in this role and similarily u can control the other org units and restrict the user for them)

  • Missing Org Structure

    One of our managers edited the org structure making herself the chief of an org and now she is the only assignment viewable in the org. Tthe rest of the org structure is missing. I have searched for the employees in the org and have been able to find them and follow the hierarchy back to the chief but yet they aren't in view when I bring up the org in PPOME. Please tell me how I can reverse what she has done.

    You can go to - PO13 Transaction Code
    Enter the the position, who has now changed as Chief
    Select Relationship Infotype Name
    Click on "Overview" Icon
    You can find the "Relationship - A012" Manages
    Select that row and delete it.
    That way you can delete the new Chief Relationship and make the system as it was before.
    Note: You can also remove the Chief Relationship through PPOME, or PPOM_OLD

    This is very old post but I need related info for HR integration with SRM.
    I am an HR guy and our SRM team wants us to suggest an attribute they could tie to Spending limit on purchase order but have not came up with any.
    Any of you have done this before? Normally - how does spending limit tied to person for purchase order?
    They also wants the cost directed for Cost center and its a FI object not HR and we don't maintain owership relationship on this, Any idea's if how we can achieve this?

    We are implementing SRM 7.0.
    Which program to use to set batch job for HR Org. structure replicate to SRM automactially, which program i can use ? Am not asking for the job related to send changes to SRM due to the change pointers.
    Am asking for the new users. How about cases where a new P is defined in the organizational hierarchy in ECC?   Which program we can set up as a batch job that picks up this type of change?
    Currently,  we manually execute RHALEINI with u2018Pu2019 as the object to send the change to SRM.
