Organisation Management

Dear Gurus
I am a fresher in SAP HR.  I have created different org units and below that I have created  again org units, then I created different positions and then I hired different employees under that.
For Eg:  I created one org unit Human Resource. Under that I created again different org units such as Talent Acquisition, Training, Employee grievances etc.
Under these different org units I created different positions and then hired different employees.
Now I am taking out the report for the same by going into Adhoc Qyery. But I am only getting the name of the org unit under which the employee has been hired. I want the name of the domain org unit in my report.
For eg: if Mr. X has been hired under Talent acquisition , I m able to take out the report which shows the name of Mr A under Talent Acquistion but at the same time I also want the name of the domain org unit i.e. Human resource. I ma not able to get the same.
Is there any other report which I should run? Kindly guide me for the same.
Regards
Harshvardhan

Hello!
In the System Info folder of Organizational Management you will have different reports like Organizational Structure with positions, Organizational Structure with Persons etc which combine differrent objects from Organizationa Management. Anyway each reports has an evaluation path (you can configure this in SPRO) in which you say what kind of object do you what to see in report. (you want to see the org structure with positions and persons)
From Ad-hoc Query you won't be able to see all the org structure with the org unit parent and so on. You need to build reports using ABAP code (there are some standard functions that easily get org structure levels)

    Personnel Administration,
    Organizational Management
    Organizationtal Development (OD),
Traning and Developemt-this is under Personal developement,
Organizational management mainly deals with the following-
    Organization Plan,
    Org. Hierarchy,
This mainly deals with the Planning activtiy of the company and
    the hierarchy of departments .
It tells abt how the org is structured.

  • Organisation management or business partner groups

    Hi,
we are using the change request management in the SAP solution manager. All relevant persons are modelled as business partners.
As we want to use our organisation management (from our SAP-HCM-System) to build the organizational structure of our company.
Does anybody synchronized the organisational structure or would be to create business partner groups the better way, because only some departments are using the crm.
Thanks for any hints and reported experiences.
    Kind regards
    Peter Lintner

Synchronization with HR can of course be done. But if you don't need so complex organization on crm side or even what to have it a bit different, then you can build on crm organization from scratch. That's what we did.

  • Work flow Organisational management

In my work fow, the agent assignment is made by position. ie, People at this position can execute the task. But, my requirement is that the position is selected from a table at run time. So, how can I dynamically assign a position in the workflow?

    Ratheesh,
    Welcome to the SDN Forums!!!
You can do the dynamic agent assignment by defining a custom Agent Determination rule using Function Module. Use txn PFAC to maintain Rules.

  • ERROR IN CREATING ORGANISATION MANAGEMENT

    Hi Gurus,
While creating  organisation Unit through PO10 .I am getting error .So unable to create Organisation Unit.
ERROR ,MESSAGE  - (For infotype 1000 in status 4, function INSE is not allowed )
    Please help me on .
    Regards
    Ravi.

    Hi
Its Simple let me start with the basics on Plan version.
we create plan version to depict the changes done in certain period of time .
in general each and evey plan version have to go through Different ststuses like Actine ,planned, submitted,Approves,Rejected.
Firstly we create any Project in  Planned status and with the help of the report we change the status RE_RHAKTI00 - Change status in this repoert you run the objects with the approved selection that object will be avaliable in actve tab.
In your case what has happend is you have not created the object in active or Planned phase..so that is the reason  when you create in an object on approved its giving the  error For infotype 1000 in status 4, function INSE is not allowed
you can also create the object directely under active tab but if you create  under planned the object have to be passed to  other stsus with the help of the report RE_RHAKTI00 - Change status
    I hope now its clear...

  • E-Recruting 3.0_Posting Channels & Organisational Management Integration

    Hi
I would like assistance with regards to the following questions:
    1. Posting Channels
On table V_T77RCF_POSTCHN, I would like to maintain a posting channel for both internal and external candidates.  I used a publisher class: CL_HRRCF_PUBLISHER_INT_EXT. However, I get an internal error.
    2.  OM Integration
In E-Recruiting, all the position details, i.e. org unit and job is extracted from OM. However, the vacancy date is not pulled through. On the OM integration table, the extractor class field is blank. What is the extractor class i'm supposed to use?
    Thanx.

    Hi,
    regarding your questions:
Question 1- Based on above SAP Master Guide quote, My question is Do I need Solution manager on the same system as Risk Management or can I provide the SAP RM 3.0, the same Solution Manager system, which has been given to entire landscape i.e. ECC, BI, XI etc)
Solution Manager does not need to be on the same box - just use the "shared" one like for other SAP Solutions (the one you used for ECC, BI...)
Question 2- If I provide lots of memory and do a good sizing, then can I share the same AS JAVA for GRC AC 5.3 & GRC RM 3.0.)
Yes, provided you're using AC 5.3 SP10 since only after that SP AC runs on NetWeaver 7.01
Also can I share the same AS ABAP for SAP GRC PC 3.0 and SAP RM 3.0?
Technically you'll have to since the GRCFND_A ABAP add-on contains both PC & RM!
Also, running/setting up PC & RM in one (ABAP) client facilitates the PC-RM integration!
Question 3- Can I use the same Business Objects Enterprise XI 3.1 for SAP PC 3.0 and SAP RM 3.0?
Yes, PC & RM will create separate folders on the BOE XI servers containing their respective Crystal Reports.
Question 4- Can I have the SAP GRC RM 3.0 backend the SAP GRC RM 3.0frontend system on the same system, containing SAP GRC 5.3 & SAP GRC PC 3.0 and then carry out the customizing implementation Guide procedure on Solution Manager on the same server (the same Solution manager which is the one, which has been shared for the entire landscape containing ECC, BI, XI etc.)?
Don't know why Solution Manager is mentioned again here in the guide - you'll perform the customizing on the AS ABAP where you installed the PC/RM ABAP add-on.
    Cheers,
    Dominic

  • Hi Pls help top Urgent, Organisation Management

    HIAll,
I am activating BC set created in 400 I am activating in 100 its giving error like this.
    Log Message is:
    S 02000238 in pl.version 01 does not exist -> activation not possible
    Pls respond,
    Thanks
    Veer

    Hi,
The error is due to the position 02000238 not created in the Plan version in Current plan(01). To verify this check table HRP1000 in SE11 for the position 02000238 for plan version 01.
Create a new position in plan version in Current plan(01) & try it.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Sarika.

  • Organisational Management - Future Objects

We have implemented PCP (Personnel Cost Planning) using an alternative version of the org structure.  Objects e.g. org units and positions maintained within the structure have future start dates in accordance with future business requirements. When searching for these future objects using transaction codes PO10, PO13, PP01 or any other selection option based upon plan version, object and object ID,, the objects are not displayed. Using PPOME these objects are visible. Would it possible to set the selection period within user parameters in transaction SU3??

I think you got the idea for your first question. For second question ON InfoTypes:
    IT 1000 Objects
    IT 1001 Relationship
    IT 1001 Description
    IT 1003 Dept/staff
    IT 1005 Planned Compensation
    IT 1007 Vacancy
    IT 1008 Account Assignment features
IT 1011 Full time equivalent (Define work schedules)
    IT 1013 Employee group/subgroup (assignment)
    IT 1018 Cost distribution
IT 1028 Address (Main, Mailing and courier)
    IT 5070 Job family
    IT 9000 OM Actions
    IT 9005 OVertime compensation
these are few... you can create new infotypes similar to PA in OM.

  • Replicate HR Organisation Management and reporting structure

We have setup the OM and reporting structure in our HR systems. How and in what way can we replicate the same set of data to another ERP client (in a different server)?
Is it via ALE ? What is the objects?
    Best Regards,
    Grace Chan
    65-63607250

    Hi Grace,
If you intend to transfer the org structure from SAP to SAP, the most effective method is to use ALE:
    - You will need to configure the partner profiles of the two systems
    - Use the transaction PFAL for a one time initial load
    - Set up change pointers for message type HRMD_A
    - Run background jobs each night to update the delta changes if you want to keep both systems in sycn.
    Hope this helps.
