Payment Milestones in SRM?

Hi
At the organisation I work at, we have restricted back end SAP purchasing access and are pushing out the use of SRM instead as primary method for users to raise shopping carts, and have a number of catalogues setup for core commodities such as stationary etc.
However, we have a number of 'project' type contracts that are setup commercially with payment milestones.  The suggestion internally has been to setup each Contract as a catalogue, with all the respective catalogue lines; however, for me, this seems a slightyl strange approach as we will only 'request' each catalogue line against the contract once, allied to each payment milestone.
Is this the most effective way to setup Contracts with payment milestones to enabling end user purchasing in SRM? Or are there any other useful bits of functionality in SRM that we should be using to meet this need?
For info, we are using SAP SRM 4.00 (Classic Scenario) and SAP ERP 6.0.
Thanks in advance

well,
here is another suggestion.
1.  Create Public templates for each Project cotnract (items)
2.  Create a querry for Project Contract (i.e Public templates) ONLY
3.  Educate the users to use templates for shopping items from project contracts.
This might be simple solution than publishing the contract to MDM catalog. Let us know if this works.

  • Invoice Payment status in SRM Browser

    Dear SRMers,
    System Information: SRM 4.0, R/3 4.6 c
We have a situation where users want to see the invoice payment status in the SRM browser. We have not implemented the Invoice module in SRM and invoices are posted and updated in R/3.
Please suggest what is the best way to accomplish displaying the invoice payment status in SRM browser preferrably in the shopping cart header or in the follow on documents area with less custom work ? Any ideas are welcome.
Points will be rewarded for answers
    Thanks in advance,
    Bob.

    Hi,
As explained in one of my previous thread, running the report "BBP_IV_UPDATE_PAYMENT_STATUS" does not update the status in SRM .So for this there will be a lot of std modifictaions required to update the status in the SRM browser(SC history/follow on docs) i.e. ITS template as well as the std includes.

  • HDFC Payment gateway with SRM

    Dear Consultants,
Can any please give me an idea on how to interface the hdfc payment gateway with SRM in RFx Bidding.
We are using the Tomcat server.
HDFC has given the JAR Files and some JSP files which is working fine.
Now i need to integrate these with WD-ABAP when the tender fee button is clicked or we have created the custom button also on click on this button HDFC payment gateway has to be called and the result has to be captured in WD-ABAP
    Kindly help me.

    Hi Rajat,
There is an option for online payment in UCES but still it is not same like current online payments.
Here the payments are not synchronous like other internet payments. If you implement the online payments
then it will record the activities in ISU system. So in UCES it will dispaly that it is processed but it will happen when the batch update is happen from SAP system to bank DB.
Can you explain what exactly you need to know about this?

  • Payment terms on SRM

    Hi All,
The problem we have is the that we don’t see on the search help the list of payment terms during contract creation.
    Steps we followed:
    1) Replication from back-end using BBP_UPLOAD_PAYMENT_TERMS, in this way following tables are filled BBP_PAYTERM and BBP_PAYTERM_TEXT
    2) We didn’t create any local payment terms so that going on customizing view (SRM Server -> Cross application Basic Settings -> Create Payment Conditions) the view is empty even if we made step 1.
Unfortunately the replicated payment terms are missing on help search during contract creation.
Could you please share with me what you think about these problems ?
    Thanks in Advance,

  • Sales Order with Partial and down payment (milestone billing)

    Hello Experts,
I have configured a scenario where a down payment and a partial payment and a closing invoice is done on the billing plan for a sales order. The down payment request was done and posted manually in FI and the process went well. The issue i have is that the down payment is not reflected in my partial invoice or my second invoice and my closing invoice as well is not reflecting the payment made for the partial invoice (which is suppose to contain the amount less the down payment).
Please, how do i resolve this issue?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
See from what i feel from your description is, the business process is as follows:-
    1) You receive the down payment request, this goes to a special g/l with indicator "F". Now when you recieve the payment you subsequently clear the amount through T-code F-29. In this case the down payment amount or the advance is treated as a deposit, which you adjust against each partial invoice, or completion of certain project.
2)When you create a partial invoice, considering the example in my earlier post you book complete value of the invoice i.e. RS 800.
The client requires that RS 720 and Rs 80 should goto seprate g/l accounts. IN this case you need to define a condition type say "zadv" assign a new account key to it say "zad" in SPRO>SALES AND DISTRIBUTION>BASIC FUNCTIONS>ACCOUNT ASSIGNMENT/COSTING>REVENUE ACCOUNT DETERMINATION>DEFINE AND ASSIGN ACCOUNT KEYS.After billing of the correspoding amount I.e RS 80 will be cleared through F-39. Please check the same with you FI consultant.
3)Since the condition tab page is greyed out , SPRO>SALES AND DISTRIBUTION>BASIC FUNCTIONS>PRICING>PRICING CONTROL>DEFINE AND ASSIGN PRICING PROCEDURE>ASSIGN PRICING PROCEDURE TO BILLING TYPES. Also check in tcode VOFA wether oc. pric. procedure si assigned or not. After doing this you can add teh condition type "ZADV".
also you can refer to this link down payment condition type (azwr)

  • Payment Terms fetch Issue(Plant Level) @ SRM 7.0

    Hello Experts,
We are currently implementing SRM 7.0 system(Classical Scenario) across regions. In one such scenario we found out that when we create a PO directly in SRM the Payment Terms is fetched correctly from the Vendor Master at Plant Level(Bypassing the Purch Org Level data, since Standard SAP looks for plant specific data & the same has been implemented in SRM by enahancing the BADI BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI (Implementation ZBBP_DOC_CHANGE_PO ,Method :- BBP_PO_CHANGE using a Custom FM with SQL Query on LFM2)
However when a PO is ordered via the Shopping Cart method, the payment term is fetched at Purch org level, even though we have an Alternative Data(at Plant level) in R/3.
The Header & Item Level Data are the same.for both the PO's. Can someone please give some pointers on fixing this issue. As we know from SAP,fetching Plant related Payment Term into SRM is not a SAP Standard Feature & thus a custom logic was implemented.Payment Term Table(BBP_PAYTERM) is updated with the latest data with all Payment Term translations maintained in R/3.
    Awaiting your suggestions.

  • SRM PO - how to check Shipment/Goods Receipt/Payment

    Dear Gurus,
I have to find if there is a shipment or goods receipt or payment against a SRM PO. My question is can I get these details in SRM or I have to come to ECC to check. If they are in SRM, please let me know where. If I have to come to ECC to get these details, please let me know any standard functions for this. Appreciate all your help.

    Synchronize invoice status
    BBP_IV_UPDATE_PAYMENT_STATUS
You can use this report to synchronize the status of invoices in SAP SRM with the status in the back-end system. If an invoice in the back-end system has the status Paid, the status in SAP SRM is adjusted; that is, the status changes from Approved to Paid.
Note that invoices in SAP SRM with the status Paid cannot be canceled.
Check goods receipt for XML invoices
    BBP_IV_AUTO_COMPLETE
This report checks for XML invoices with the status Waiting for Preceding Document, and whether appropriate documents have been posted in the meantime, and then attempts to post the relevant invoice
    BBP_IV_UPDATE_PAYMENT_STATUS
via check status , user can see his documnet whether sc status, po created or not, gr done or not, invoice made or not.

  • DOWN PAYMENT  IN MILESTONE

    Hi,
I have done downpayment request in milestone billing by using billing type FAZ.
But further milestone billing I need to billing with billing type F2. When I try to do with the first line items milestone, I get a zero billing document. Why this is happening, how to billing the other milestones with the billing type F2.
Do I need to enter another line item for actual milestone billing using F2.
Please find the attached screen shot for reference, I would be grateful if you could explain with screen shot.

    Hi,
You have to create FAZ  (Document type :DZ) to begin with if you have to proceed the way you have explained and later on while creating the F2 , this FAZ amount will get cleared based on your adjustment. (this way F2 will have the reference of the FAZ with the requests)
To create FAZ document with reference to project follow the procedure below:
    Hi,
In your case you have five milestones 200K each without the Down payment milestone.: (This gives a total net value as 200K*5= 1000K=100%)
If you have had maintained the downpayment of 200K milestone then the total number of milestones will be Six instead of Five.
this way the total net invocing value will be (200K+1000K) i.e 120%. which after down payment clearing will become 100%
So to proceed with your question, please maintain 6 milestones instead of 5 milestone.
Unfortunaly in the present scenario you can not proceed with percentage but can only proceed with the manual adjustment.
    hope its useful.
    Reward points if useful.
    Thanks..

  • SRM and Payment gateway

    Dear Friends,
I had been trying to integrate ICICI payment gateway with SRM 5.0. They are in two different boxes.
What have been done uptill now:-
       1. Button on template SAPLBBP_QUOT_UI_ITS_300. On click it connects to ICICI gateway (which is in different box).
       2. On return from ICICI gateway, the ASP file on gateway calls up internet service on SRM which has to update few tables on SRM.
The problem lies in passing parameters from ASP file to SRM internet service so that data updation can be done. Internet service is based on a transaction for a module-pool.
Friends, Please suggest me to solve this task.
    Regards,
    Deva.

i would suggest you to look for a appropriate BAPI for updating that transaction and expose that as webserviice, now call this webservice from ICICI gateway to pss data and update the SRM system

  • Non PO invoice : Vendor payment terms

    Hi
I tried to replicate backend payment terms to SRM by report BBP_UPLOAD_PAYMENT_TERMS. I am not getting any payment terms from BE in SRM as payment condition.
I have assigned payment terms in Backend and even in SRM, assigned with manual created payment term to BP.
I am trying to create non PO invoice, I am not getting default payment terms in invoice. Why it is not defaulting?
Why payment terms could not be replicated from backend?
I need to do something else. Please share experience if you have faced such situation.
    Thanks in advance.
    regards,
    Rahul Mandale

    Hi Rahul,
Please try doing as mentioned below.
BBP_UPLOAD_PAYMENT_TERMS program does not work well.I tried using this and this ask for RFC destination(LOGSYS) while replicating the payment terms.
and when you try to see these payment terms in customzing it does not give you correct result and so result in SRM HTML screens.
    What I did for this.
There are two tables involved in this
    BBP_PAYTERM
    BBP_PAYTERM_TEXT .
If you see entries in table BBP_PAYTERM ,it will have data with ERPCLNTXXX system while same kind of data will not be there for SRMCLNTXXX.
You have to copy ERPCNLTXXX data into SRMCLNTXXX data.
To do that copy all data with SRMCLNTXXX ,go to table Entry in Menu and delete all entries.
Then copy all ERPCLNTXXX data and go to Table Entry ,Create with template.
You can do this is SE11 or SE16 transactions.Do similarly with BBP_PAYTERM_TEXT.Please check entries before doing it for BBP_PAYTERM_TEXT table as this table may have similar entries for SRMCLNTXXX and then you will not require to copy all.
Actaully program recognise only Payment terms in SRM.
Once you have done this..You can see in customzing all correct payment terms replicated.
    SPRO->SRM server->Cross application basic setting->Create payment conditions.
    I hope this helps.

  • Certain payment terms neglected

    All-
We are working on a SRM 5.0 classic scenario implementation. We need to use the payment terms for creating Invoices w/o PO in SRM. We realise for this we need to maintain it locally in table view BBPV_PTERM_LOCAL.
So we are ensuring that in the replication report BBP_UPLOAD_PAYMENT_TERMS, we use both the selection criteria Data transfer from the backend system and also preassign data to the local system. Essentially this will populate data in BBP_PAYTERM for both Logical system. I.e. Data from R/3 and data in the local system which will populate the Table view BBPV_PTERM_LOCAL.
Now the issue is that almost all payment terms get replicated locally. However, few terms get neglected and dont come over to the table view. for example a payment term like 0051 Due immediately/ Due on receipt.
Is there some sort of setting on R/3 which is preventing this entry while using report BBP_UPLOAD_PAYMENT_TERMS??? This entry gets created in SRM in table BBP_PAYTERM with backend logical system but doesnot make an entry for the local system.
Any ideas on why this behaviour?? We have also opened an OSS note on the same...please let me know if you guys have any suggestions.

  • Payment terms doesnot exist

    Hi,
In SRM 7.0 we have uploadsed the payment terms from the backened system through the standard program BBP_UPLOAD_PAYMENT_TERMS.
We are maintaining any local payment terms in SRM system.
When we are using the uploaded payment terms in RFx response we are getting any error "payment terms does not exist"
In the selection list all the payment terms are appearing which are uploaded.

    Hi,
    You are right!
You need to go to Tsc SE38 and put the report BBP_UPLOAD_PAYMENT_TERMS and execute.
Check if have some ERROR in the Tsc SLG1 and the table BBP_PAYTERM

  • Payment Terms in Invoice creation

    Hi,
I am using SRM 5.5, ECS and trying to create a non-PO invoice, I have more than one questions but all are related to payments on invoices.
I have replicated the payment terms from back-end using BBP_UPLOAD_PAYMENT_TERMS, and verified the entries in BBP_PAYTERM and BBP_PAYTERM_TEXT tables.
But if I search for payment terms in the invoice transaction, I am not able to find any entries, same with payment term key, the other problem is the payment method field is non-editable/non-selectable.
Last but not the least is I could not find any equivalent filed to the Payment Method Supplement field of FB60 transaction in ECC.
      Please reply my questions.

  • Payment terms for invoices w/o PO

    Hi All,
We have a payment term which we transfer from R/3 to SRM 4.0. This payment term is a complex one in that we want to pay on the 20th day of the following month. So for example we enter an invoice on 1st April, we want it paid on 20th May.
We were unable to replicate this payment term into SRM but we manually added this term directly into SRM. We then had to manually add a field to transfer this payment term into R/3. Our problem is that in R/3 the invoice is not picking up the correct conditions for the payment term. It seems to be picking up a different payment term. Has anyone used any complex payment terms before?
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Paula.

    Hi Tracey
Yes the payment term is specified in vendor master record in R/3.

  • Payment terms not exist in contract

    Dear SAP experts,
We are in SRM 7 and ECC 6 and using extended scenario. For payment terms we download payment terms from ECC by using program BBP_UPLOAD_PAYMENT_TERMS and entries created in table BBP_PAYTERM. When we create PO we can use this payment terms from ECC. However the odd thing happen when we create contract, we can see the paymet terms as possible selection, but if we select it we got error 'Payment term not exist in target system'. However if we create payment terms directly in SRM (using config payment conditions), then we can choose the payment term from SRM.
But this is not making any sense as why do we need to have duplicate payment terms one coming from ECC and the other coming from SRM. Do I miss something in here? (Note that in RFx response, vendor can NOT choose payment terms locally in SRM as they can ONLY see the one coming from ECC).
    Best regards,
    John

    Hi John,
Please implement the following note & retest this issue:
