PM: PERSON RESPONSIBLE FROM IW38

Folks,
I am a BW consultant and I am trying to extract the person responsible in IW38.
Can anyone advice me which table has this. I need to extract this as an attribute of pmorder.

Lookup caufv using aufnr and pickup objnr
With this objnr look up IHPA for parvw=vw and counter=000000 pick field parnr.

Hi Experts
The person responsible is defined in a customizing table.
Is it possible to map the person responsible from HR masters in stead of defining seperately (Because all personnel are already defined in HR).

these are two seperate things
firstly - you may have a person reposnsible for a WBS who may not be an employee
secondly - not all companies use SAP HR module
thirdly - person repsonsible is used for authorisation - so I can set up all person rep starting with 10000 etc for a specific type of project
fourthly - this field is also used by IM module
so hence SAP has this seperate - if you want to use HR employee number then you may do so but yoiu have to maintain this table

Send SMS to person responsible from a maintenance order

I want to send SMS on the mobile of person responsible for an operation of an order. SMS should contain details for that operation.
Which exit/Badi is used for this.
What is the basis for these developments.

Its actually very simple and There are number of ways to accomplish this all from ABAP and it all depends on what is available at the client site.please look up SMS / Email message from SDN and there are pages of blogs and sample codes.
From the application side It all depends on when you would be assigning the person responsible for the operation and when do you want to send the message and whether you would like to track the same as well.With the way the operation functionality on the order is setup, it would be easy to capture the trigger when the operation is "released".You could use the change document functionality available on system status change to capture the event. if thats not acceptable, then you would need to use the change document functionality to capture the Assiggnment of the operation and then Base your trigger based on it.
You could then assign the above event to standard task, which will basically call the send email function call (Ex: SO_OBJECT_SEND) but instead of the email address enter the entire cell phone number(Basis would have to have configured the SCOT transaction to send email from SAP before this can be done ) . After the message is sent successfully, You would need to also write an update call back to the Order operation to update a user status of the operation indicating that a SMS has been sent.

Getting the Person Responsible from Requiremts Assignmts Tab in Service Ord

I am trying to get the person responsible for a particular operation from the Requiremts Assignmts Tab in Service Order.In the IW32 transaction,in the requirements assignment tab for a particular operation when
I look at the technica information of the field where the person is assigned, I see that it is on Structure : CYSPLITIN, field: SHORT.
I need to know the actual database table or link to the operation/activity where I can read the person from in an ABAP program.

Hi Sophie,
Check if these FMs helps you anyway - RH_READ_OBJECT or RP_CHECK_PERNR
I found them in include program - LCOI0F14 . Give a breakpoint in these FMs and check how they are working.
My system unfortunately dont have any service order ( or i dont know how to see that )

In CJ20N, unable to change the "Person Responsible"

Hi,
In cj20n, When I create a new WBS under a project, the system defaults the Person responsible from the Project level.
The field is display only and I am unable to change it. There is no substitution active in the project profile.
Could anyone help me to change the config so that the user can maintain the "Person Responsible" at the WBS level for the existing projects & the newly created projects.

Dd you check (OPUK) the field selection settings for this field? You can make it editable entry in there.

Notification - Email to the person responsible

Hi Experts,
I am trying to create a workflow which triggers an email to the user specified in the "Person Responsible" filed in the Tasks in a QM Notification.
A standard workflow is already configured which sends an email to the user who created the notificaion.
Let me know if any further information is required... I m pretty new to Workflo stuff...!

Hi Aabhas,
If I get you correct, you are creatign a custom workflow to send mail to the Person Responsible.
If you are doing so, then you need to add a semd mail step in the workflow and fetch the recipient 'Person Responsible' from the associated business object or FM.

Could anyone advise me how can I add the option to Choose Values from list to field "Person Responsible",
in Cost Center Master Data ?
The Technical Name of this field is VERAK, and currently it is an open field.
I would like to allow the user to choose values from existing list.

Hi Orly,
You have take it to your ABAPer, who will have to modify the attributes of CSKSZ-VERAK field in CSKSZ structure. ABAPer will have to define it with foreign key and introduce the name of the table, which will be used for deriving the available values. No standard table exists for it, but you can either create your own Z-table or take it from users table (USR02) if you have the necessary information there. Of course, this action would account for modification of standard SAP structure.

You can get the required details from the FM:CRM_SERVICE_CONTRACTS_SEARCH
Just pass the PARTNER_FUNCTION of the person responsible and PARTNER_NUMBER in the Import parameters and if required the TRANSACTION_TYPE also.
You will get the list of contracts for that particular person responsible.

Person Responsible Business Transactions

Hi All
We have a problem with business transactins in the web ui and the person responsible.
if I select any transaction from the inbox and edit it, the person responsible is automatically updated to my username. This may make sense but it is not functionallity that we require as we need to keep a record of the person responsible .
Is there anyway of turning this functionallity off so the person responsible does not change.

Hi,
I think the Partner determination Procedure has assigned to this transaction and the Partner function person responsible the access sequence is assign ed as the user. Go the transaction and check the PDP and go to that PDP and check the partner function and access sequence. You can find it in SPROCRMBasic Function--Partner Determination Procedure. Here you chack the partner function Person responsible and check the access sequence assigned to it. You can change the Access sequence for this partner function as you want to bring this Partner Function.

PM Order: Get Person Responsible

Does anybody know where the table is where I can find the personnel number and/or personnel name of the person responsible that links to a specific order?
If I have the pernr, I know how to find the employee
in the relevant HR table.

Get the PERNR from this table like this

Person Responsible for Corrective-Preventive action in Audit Management

I am creating Corrective-Preventive action in audit (PLMD_AUDIT). I am using BAdi PLM_AUDIT_COR_UPDATE. I am getting all other info I need in it but not able to get person responsible (under 'Contact Persons' tab).
Since the BAdi methods are 'before save' and 'update' we can not fetch from the database also.
Can anyone help??

If you want to get the list of CARs linked to audit , you can refer to bapis.
BAPI_BUS20350_GET_DETAIL - pass the audit external id & guid to get the audit & CAPA details.

Person responsible inheritance

Hello Guys,
I am just wondering is there any std way to have the person responsible name from maintenance plan to work order ?
I don't see any field in maint plan to put the person name which will inherit to work order and also in the shop paper.
I have used sort field in maintenance plan and it reflects in shop paper thru customizing but it did not reflect in work order....if I want to have my sort field info in work order, any exits will help me out to make it happen ?
Also in normal work orders, we do have person responsible field in work order which can be refelcted in shop paper thru customizing but is there any std way apart from this ?
I remember used to assign the person name to workcenter thru HRMS but not able to remember it solves my purpose on this scenario in anyway.

I understand this is not standard functionality and tried with "IPRM0003 User fields: Maintenance plan" but this exit is not directly updating the value in person responsbile field in WO rather it is updating in the "Z" field ( newly created) at the back ground.
My issue, I dont see the exit in IW32 to pass the value from Z field to person responsbile field. I have tried with almost all the exits and most of them does not have the importing function to implement it.
My goal is to pass the value mentioned in the Sort field to Person responsble field in WO. With the help of above exit,
I could pass the value from sort field to Z field(at the background) but I could not pass the value again from Z field to Person resposnsible field.

Person responsible wise maintenance order

Hi,
In the maintenance order header screen,we maintain the person responsible (HR employee).
I need a report to find number of orders per person responsible. I thought it would be available in IW38 but strange could not find.

In search for the same answer I came across your post, not finding the answer there I searched thru the notes and found the answer as I too has the same problem.
You might have already found the answer by now but I am posting for the benefit of others who may be looking for this:
Relevant SAP Notes: 135028 & 356483
Simple Steps: taking OPS7 as example:
> Go to SPRO node for 'Applicants' and select the text of the node (don't execute)
> In the menu bar at top, Go to Edit> Display IMG Activity
> in the next screen choose the TAB "Maint. Objects"
> In this Tab look below for 'Assigned Objects'
> Note down the customizing object mentioned there (V_TCJ05)
> double click on this 'V_TCJ05'
> In the resulting screen check if indicator 'Current Setting' is set or not. If not then you'll have to change/set it by taking help of ABAP team (who in turn will have to request an access key from Basis team to be able to carryout the change)
Now,
> Execute SE54
> Input the object Name (V_TCJ05)
> Select Radio button 'Generated Objects' and choose "create/change
> System will ask for a access key again (same as mentioned earlier)
> In the next screen in lower part look for 'dialog data Transport details'
> in this, for 'Recording Routine' change the radio button to 'no or user recording routine'
