Post balance of invoice to asset via tcode Miro

Hi ,
We have a situation whereby we need to post the balance of  invoice to Asset and not GL in tcode MIRO.
We have raised the  Invoice via tcode MIRO. The invoice amount is more than the  PO document (RE), therefore we have an outstanding balance and can't post the invoice. Typically we would select the GL tab  in tocde MIRO and post this balance to a GL account.  We now have a situation whereby we need to post to an asset account and do not have a tab available to do this via tcode MIRO. What we are looking for is a tcode similar to MIRO that incorporates tcode F-90  to allow post to asset.  Is this possible? Or please suggest an alternative method.
Many thanks
Alexsh

Hi Jeyakanthan,
There are a number of POs that we need to invoice with one invoice. Not all are fixed assets, some are going to GL and Internal orders. The balance relates to fixed assets so we need to know how to process the two transactions in one posting.

  • Post Balance Sheet Adjustment Tcode F.5d and F.5e

    Hi SAP Gurus,
I have executed F.5D and F.5e in order to post balance sheet adjustment:
Normally,  if both tcode executed, all posting to GL account with 105101000 using a KO dummy Profit will then be swept/post to a corresponding GL account say 10510099  with the correct/actual Profit center.
As i can see,  after i ran tcode F.5e it generated a document number.   Now,  HOW do i reconcile the posted Balance Sheet adjustment amount against FBL3n?   Is it via Open key date or All key date?

    hi Sridevi,
Earlier, users never used tthis Tx. F.05, by mistake they did, anyway it is reversed
now when they were doing the Tx. F.5E there are getting this problem "Nothing is posted".  kindly help in this regard.

  • Item Based Interest on Remaining Balance of Invoice after Payment Posted

We are doing item based interest but the when a payment is posted against the invoice the interest is calculated against the entire invoice amount.  Where do I need to check to get the interest to be calculated against the remaining balance.
Edited by: Tunzyaan Jennings on Feb 15, 2012 10:16 PM

    HI
Pls try to select the check box Only calculate interest on debit items in the same path
Indicator which means that, in principle, interest is only calculated on debit entries.
Otherwise, interest would also be charged to credit items. The credit item would be treated as a debit item; in particular, the same interest rate is applied to both.  Reason:  If the credit memo is not cleared right away by the invoice, but cleared later, both the invoice and credit memo are "overdue" and consequently balance out in terms of interest.
    It will solve your requirement

  • Invoice Verification - Tcode MIRO

Hi, I would like to know if there is anyone who could help me on how to open the G/L field (HKONT) at Details tab in MIRO tcode to enable reconciliation accont changes during an Invoice Verification. In Brazilian Utilities Indutry Sector processes we legaly must have alternative reconciliation accounts for the same vendor.
I've done a test enabling alternative reconciliation account in FI-GL and it works for the tcode FB60, opening automaticaly the field G/L at the Details tab allowing the user to change the account for an alternative one, but unfortunately for the tcode MIRO it simply doesn't works.
I hope there is any MM configuration or enhancement which could enable this field.
    Thanks in advance,
    Daniel Damiani
    Business Senior Specialist at CSC

    Hi,
It is not possible to explicitly change the account at the time an
invoice is posted through transaction MIRO, the way it is posible
through FI. In MM, the accounts are automatically determined from the
customizing in transaction OMWB, or taken from the purchase order
    account assignment data.
You can also have a quick look in tr OMRMB, you will notice that field
INVFO-HKONT is not there to be customised.
There is no solution available within the SAP standard system for the
change of the reconciliation account for the vendor. Please check note
    144081 for MIRO/MIR7 functions.
MM invoice verification was developed to finish the external procurement
process in logistics and check the invoice data sent by the vendors for
correctness (differences) and to post the corresponding accounting
    document in FI additional.
Creating manually creditor invoices in FI have no relation to a logist
process. Therefore not all functions included in FI (FB60) are included
in MM invoice verification (MIRO) as well.
You can only change the reconciliation account via vendor master record:
Pls. choose "display vendor" in MIRO, than switch to the view accounting
information and change there the G/L account. This must be done by
every posting procedure and the change must be put back after booking
    again.

  • Error during repeat run depreciation via tcode AFAB

    hi,
I have removed year-end closing for assets to year 1999 via tcode OAAQ . However, once i want to run repeat depreciation via tcode AFAB, I received error messages as follows:-
    1. Field Cost Ctr is a required field for G/L account 4300000
    2. Account 'Expense account for ordinary depreciation' could not be found.
Appreciate your advise to solve the errors.
    Thanks a lot!

    Dear Mohd.,
PLease check the following in ur configuration:
    1) You must have CO implemented. That is why when u run, AFAB system posts its depreciation in cost center mentioned in asset master. Now do one thing, take out the list of assets where cost center is not attached. Take out this info from ANLZ table.
    2) Go to AO90 & check the account assignment to all the account determinations.
Try executing after this. It will work.

  • Wrong assignment of Balance sheet accounts for Asset Classes...

    dear all,
there is wrongly assignment of acquisition balance sheet account in asset class in t code is AO85 that is, Acquisition:Acquis. and production costs an Accumulated Depreciation Balance sheet account have been assigned. Also in t code  AO93 for ordinary depreciation same correct accumulated depreciation Balance sheet account have been assigned.
Now i can say that Acquisition balance sheet account and accumulated depreciation balance sheet account are assigned with same GL (i.e. accumulated depreciation account).
The transactions data have been posted for the asset class with different tcodes i.e.
ABAVN Enter asset transaction: Asset Retirement
    OASV Enter Transfer Posting
    AIBU   AUC Settlement
ABUM Enter asset transaction: Transfer in company code
    AB08 Documents from asset
I wanted to post transaction data with correct acquisition account. What should i do to correct posted transactions..
    Waiting for positive response.
    regards
    saqib usman

The best way is to create a new asset class and to transfer the existing assets.
An other option is to change the G/l account in the development system and transport to production. In development it is only possible to this when there are no posting in this asset class. When there are posting you have the option to reset in development asset accounting. Then you can change the G/L account. Have a look to SAP-notes with your error there is a note for.
When the changes are in production you can make a manual correction with the transaction ABF1 (SAP note 69225).
With this option you have the problem that the original postings are no longer in line with the asset account assignment. When you want to do a currency conversion in the future you have to make correction posting again in the old fiscal year

  • Posting a Parked Invoice

    Hi All,
I am developing a report to post the parked invoices.
For this i have used the function module 'MRM_INVOICE_READ' and the function module 'MRM_PARKED_INVOICE_POST'.
But when i select a parked invoice from the ALV Grid display and click on the post button i get a warning message like 'Invoice quantity greater than PO Quantity(NO GR)'.
Can anyone suggest how to overcome this or is there any other function module to POST the parked invoice.
In this case there is no GR done for the Purchase order.

    Hi,
this is how i see it:
parked invoices can only be posted when they have no errors.
With the simulation button you can display all errors available.
In your case you receive the message: Invoice quantity greater than PO Quantity
go to the invoice in question via MIR4 + F7 and correct the error.
    You have two options:
1.- decrease the amount to be invoiced.
2.- increase the amount of the po.
Check as well how tolerances are set in your system.
    Best regards.

    Hi,
Try creating a Query in Tcode SQVI by combining tables MKPF and J_1IEXCHDR/J_1IEXCDTL for your requirement.

  • Problem while 're-posting' a cancelle Invoice with Exchange Rate Difference

    Hi Gurus,
We are facing a problem while re-posting an Invoice with Exchange Rate Difference. I say re-posting because this invoice was previously posted and reversed on the same date. Here is the scenario along with the relevant postings:
    1)
G/R is posted in September when the exchange rate for dollar was, say, Rs. 49 = 1 USD.
    Posting:
    Service A/C.....100 USD (Rs. 4900)
         To SR/IR Clearing A/C...100 USD (Rs. 4900)
    2)
MIRO is done in October, when the exchange rate was, say, Rs. 48 = 1 USD. Thus, the exchange difference posting was done in the respective accounts.
    Posting:
    SR/IR Clearing A/C......100 USD (Rs. 4900)
To Vendor A/C...........90 USD (Rs. 4320)
To TDS A/C..............10 USD (Rs.  480)
To Exch. Difference A/C. 0 USD (Rs.  100)
This was the correct entry, however we missed out some TDS codes and thus needed to reverse this entry and repost it.
    3)
Now this invoice was reversed (T.Code MIRO) in october itself on exactly the same date on which invoice was created, and it resulted in the following postings:
    Vendor A/C......90 USD (Rs. 4320)
    TDS A/C.........10 USD (Rs.  480)
         To SR/IR Clearing A/C...100 USD (4800, i.e. 48 * 100, Rs.48 being the exchange rate in october)
    4)
Now when we try to post MIRO again, it is posting the following entry:
    SR/IR Clearing A/C......97.96 USD (Rs. 4800)
Exch. Difference A/C.....2.04 USD (Rs.    0)
         To Vendor A/C........... 85 USD (Rs. 4080)
         To TDS1 A/C............. 10 USD (Rs.  480)
         To TDS2 A/C.............  5 USD (Rs.  240)
This is a wrong entry. SR/IR clearing A/C should have been debited by 100 USD (Rs. 4900), and the Exch. Rate difference account should have been credited by 0 USD (Rs. 100)
Can someone please help us with this. What the system seems to be doing is, that when the Invoice was reversed, the value that got reversed for SR/IR Clearing A/C was 100 USD but with Rs. 4800 instead of Rs. 4900. Now, when we try to repost the invoice, the system divided this value by the exchange rate prevalent in September, i.e. Rs. 49, thus the resultant value 97.96 USD (i.e.  4800 / 49).
    Please help.
    Thanks!
    Regards,
    Angad Nagpal

    Solved.
The final entry is correct, as the net result in the G/L balances is the same. For further information please refer to notes 116250 and 46564.
    Thanks!

  • Invoice Type not being Updated while Posting INVOIC01 - Incoming Invoice

    Hello,
I am trying to Post Incoming Vendor Invoice in to SAP using INVOIC01 and IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_MRM Function Module. I am adding values INVO for Invoice, CRMO for Credit Memo in the Field E1EDK01-BSART to Post the Invoice with different Invoice Types. However, the Invoice for the PO gets Posted only as Invoice, no matter what I populate in the Segment Field E1EDK01-BSART. What could be the issue? Please let me know.
    Thank You,
    Venkata Phani Prasad K.

This issue has been Resolved. A Sub routine MRM_DOCUMENT_COMPLETE is called in the  Function Module IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_MRM in which the value of the USING Parameter MRM_RBKPV-TCODE is being hard coded to MR1M. Since I am using a Z-Version of this Function Module, I've changed the value of the above field to MIRO after the Subroutine call which solved the issue.
    MRM_RBKPV-TCODE = 'MIRO'.
The Values to be Passed to the Field BSART in the Segment E1EDK01 are
    E1EDK01-BSART = 'INVL' - For Invoice
    E1EDK01-BSART = 'CRME' - For Credit Memo
    Thanks,
    Venkata Phani Prasad K

  • Log for changes done before posting LIV in Tcode MIRO

    Hi
By default data will be fetched from PO/GR for LIV however our users are changing few details such as payment terms, tax code, vendor code, vendor invoice amount etc., before posting LIV in tcode MIRO. We don't have any log for these changes done by our users.
We want to know what are fields which have been changed by our users at the time of doing LIV (i.e. before posting LIV).
Can any one help us in this regard.
    Regards
    P Karthikeyan

If you know those fields, you can find the differences for those field in table EKKO and EKPO for PO, the similar value will be available for IR in table RBKP and RSEG.
Like as payment term, The payment term is saved in table RBKP - ZTERM for MIRO.
The same will be available in table EKKO - ZTERM for PO.
If the value for both fields are same, then user has not changed the field at the time of MIRO.
If the value mismatched, then user has changes the value in MIRO.
In this way, you can find the differences for other fields.

    Hi Santosh,
Invoice without pyt terms :- It mean this invoice falls due immediately then it is picking in APP run.
Invoice with pyt terms:- It will pick only once it is due for that APP Run. Please calculate the due date of that invoice by  taking the base line date along with the days according to that pyt terms.
Due Date - Base line date + No. of days( acc. to pyt terms )
Also check due date of line items field is checking in additional log tab of F110. Once we select this field then it will check the due date of each open item.
    I hope it helps.
