PP-PI - System status LKD for a process order - how to set/unset it

Hi gurus,
I need some help.
I have to lock / unlock process orders inside a program (not manually).
I would like to do this without using Batch Inputs, which are not reliable.
I know the function STATUS_CHANGE_INTERN can modify the order status; but I don't know if the result I get is the same I get doing manually: "Process order" --> "Functions" --> "Restrict processing" --> "Lock"/"Unlock".
Can anybody help me?

As you found there is no concept of a cancelled PM order.
Before order release you can set a status NCMP/I0015 (not completed). That is set from IW32 with menu:
Order - Functions - Complete - Do not execute
That also automatically sets business closed (CLSD) status. This setting can not be revoked.

I am doing dsettlement of an PM order with transaction KO8G, but by one order I get an error message " System Status LKd is Active( Ord 4257568)
How to tackle this?

It also depends how your orders are being generated. If you are generating the orders from a sales order line item and a user deletes the line item or rejects it, the service order will automatically be locked from further processing. The action log will display the end users name as the one who locked the order, but the transaction code will be VA02.

System status LKD REL for operation & phases in Process order

Hi Gurus,
We have a process order in which system status for operations & phases is LKD REL due to which user is not able to confirm the process order. The status of process order is REL PRC APNG APRS BASC BCRQ GMPS MACM RESA SETC. One of the user from planning has set the status to LKD due to some artwork changes. Now another user set the status to unlock. Locked status from order status was reset but at operation & phases level the status is still LKD REL & hence order confirmation is not allowed.
I try to again set the status to lock but i am getting message system status LKD is active (ACT 40547870 0010) which is similar to one which we get during order confirmation.Pls. suggest.

If the status LKD is not set for the order header, this is possibly an inconsistency.
Please open an OSS incident to SAP for further analysis.

Internal Order - System Status LKD

Hi All,
For an internal order which has system status LKD active, can I mark it for deletion?
When tried to do so, I get an error message like
" E BS 013 System status LKD is active (ORD XXX)
KO 424 Order XXX / Mark for deletion "

Hi,
if your order is marked for deletion then you can't put it for locked status and it goes other way around i.e. if your order is lkd ,it can't be marked for deletion.

System status LKD is active

Hi gurus,
My client wants to process a Purch order from a Preq. But when he wants to save his PO, he got this error message : SYSTEM STATUS LKD IS ACTIVE (ORD 9XXXXXXX).

First of all ,please make sure if the status lkd is already exist for
the orders in koko4.If that's the case it is necessary to revoke the
status LKD on these orders e.g. with transaction KO02.

Message stuck in SXMB_MONI status " Sceduled for Outbound Process." Urgent

Hello All,
All messages in our XI environment are getting stuck with status Scheduled for Outbound Processing ...I have already done the following..
1) Registered the Queues
2) Deleted entries in SMQ1 and SMQ2 and restarted messages
Last time we had this issue, we were finally able to reslove it by doing a J2EE restart. But this has resurfaced again within a week, and this time even the restart is not working.
Do you think some parameter has been set incorrectly during the install ..
Any help would be appreciated ..

Did you got JCO failure error for any of XI message before start of getting this error message?
If so it's failing because of RFC connection problem...
You need to go to Tcode : SM59 in your xi server
check the TCP/IP Connections which is created while post-installation phase..
1. AI_RUNTIME_JCOSERVER.
2. AI_DIRECTORY_JCOSERVER
Solution : Increase the default value for CPIC_MAX_CONV (se note 314530).

"System status AALK is active" and "System status LKD is active" errors

We are on SRM 4.0. When creating a shopping cart from a specific catalog the user is receiving two error messages.
"System status AALK is active" and "System status LKD is active"
How do I resolve these errors?

It's more like a CA-JVA-JVA-PP or PS-ST-INT-BAPI issue, recommend to report a message under one of the component.

Reg change in the status profile in the process order

Dear all,
By default one status profile ZPI0001 has been assigned to an order type ZP10 in a plant, the requirement is at the time of process order creation we want to change the status profile to ZPI0002 and create . this is applicable for one plant only
Please let me know the settings to be done for that

I am not sure why do you need different status profile at the creation of process order...
First define the status profile ZPI0002 using Tcode BS01/BS02 and assign it to the order type ZP10 using CORN. The same order type is defined to plant using COR4..Here you can only have only one status profile for each order type, however, you can define different custom user status for the status profile..Say ZOCL - Order Completely closed after system status TECO to stop all goods movements...You can't have separate status profile while creating process order and at other stage of process order..Gurus please correct me if I am wrong..

Can we issue the material against process order, if it is on CRTD status?

Prerequiste for REL of Process Order -
Process order should have CRTD status.
Other with IMG setting, you can have order status directly REL once it is created also. See Prod Sch Profile setting.
You cannot do goods posting (GI and GR) unless order is REL status. Not possible with CRTD status.

Global Standard for TECOing Process Orders

Hi All,
Is there any standard rule for how long it should take for a process order to be TECO'ed?
Currently our PO's get TECO'ed anywhere between 2-8 days after confirmation. But we do have them all TECO'ed prior to month end. I would prefer to set a general rule (based on global and benchmarking standards) on how many days it should take us to TECO them.

Once the process order has been confirmed with final confirmation or say the complete confirmation,goods movements(Gi&Gr)
activities are completed,then the TECO status can be set on the same day of final confirmation and GR or else on the next day.
If my understanding is correct then SAP suggests to set the TECO status once the shop floor activities are completed and no
where I could see the no of days for performing this activity.
If required this can be individually set at process order level in COR2 or else as month ending activity by setting TECO for a list
of process orders using T.Code COHVPI.
Check and revert back.

Report for open process orders

Dear SAP experts,
As the period of the process order from open to close is not short, will take 1 or 2 months in our business case, so we want to find a report which can get the information just like the output of KSPP(for planned orders) .
I tried to analysis the logic of program KSPP, and it seems the function modules based on the planned orders only.
Is there any way to get the similar report for open process orders?

1.For this requirement you have to go for a Z report and you can give the Functional Spec's to prepare
this report to your ABAP consultant.Prepare the input format,logic of the program and the output format.
In the logic part you can make use of this Functional Modules's CSAP_MAT_BOM_READ or
CSEP_MAT_BOM_READ or CS_BOM_EXPLOSION or CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2 .
2.Using CEWB helps you to identify all the material that's having the BOM,but here the report does not
shows you the level by level by BOM for a FERT.
Check and revert back.

Target Vs Acual Cost Comparison for multiple process orders

Dear SAPians,
I want to take a report for target vs actual cost for all process orders and product cost collectors created in a particular period. I have checked the standard report KKBC_ORD that serve my purpose but for a single order. I want the same report for multiple process orders and product cost collectors.
Is there any standard report or should I create a report painter report. I have tried to create a report painter report based on library 7KO, but target cost was not showing for selected order.
Kindly suggest.

Target Costs are available in library 601 for internal orders (and can be used for process/production orders).
