PPS POWL for RFx/PO shows additional "user-specified.." columns

After we turned on PPS for SRM 7.0, we realize the POWL result list for RFx, PO shows many extra columns entitled "User-Spcd Sts01", "User-Spcd Sts02", etc, making the navigation unfriendly. But when I looked at the IMG configuration for POWL Field Catelog for feeder type e.g. SAPSRM_FEEDER_RFQ, I see no additional columns. So my question is where to find the definition of those additional columns so that I can remove them?
Thanks!
Answer: add the columns manually and mark them "hidden" in customizing.

  • POWL for RFx Response

Is there any possibility to create a POWL for "RFx Response"?
We could see a category QUOT under IMG>CROSS APPLICATION COMPONENTS>GENERIC SAP BUSINESS SUITE FUNCTIONS>PERSONAL OBJECT WORK LIST>DEFINE CATEGORIES.
But we are not able to see any Application (neither FEEDER OR AS-advanced search) or Query ID for the same.
For example, we wanted a POWL of RFx responses which are accepted but PO/contract not prepared.
Any idea how to achive this?

  • I have an imac and I set up additional user accounts.  When I start up or restart the computer it only shows me the option of logging on as the system administrator and it does not show the other accounts for my wife and kids.

When I start up my additional user accounts do not show so I can log onto them.   The same thing happens when I log out as the system admin.  How do I get to the additional accounts that I have set up on my imac so I can log in under them.   Thanks

There is zero advantage to partitioning a HD for the purpose you have described. I recommend that you take your machine to an AASP, describe the problem and they will help you get it back working. Partitioning a HD is a 1990's approach and is of no value what-so-ever unless you installing multiple operating systems on the HD. In that case it would be valuable.
    Good luck.

  • SRM 7.0 Modify POWL for shopping cart - Additional Field PR

    Hello,
in standard POWL for Shopping Cart it is possible to filter Carts with "Order No. from ERP".
Now we need also to add a new search field for "Purchase Requisition", that the user has both possibilites to filter for backend follow-up documents.
    How could this been done?
Do we need to copy and change the feeder class for this or can is be done via Customizing?
I think the problem is, that in table BBP_PDBEI there is only one column for backend-document number (BE_OBJECT_ID) and next to is there is a column that defines the BUS Type, e.g. order or PR.
Do we need to adjust the feeder class to look in this table for the BE_OBJECT_ID with "BUS2105"?
    Thanks for your help!
    Regards Trevor

    Hi Trevor.
If you wish to extend the POWL you could use the information in the note 1456308 to perform this extension and what additional extensions need to be added.

  • ALV report shows fixed number of columns for a user ?

    Hello,
I have an issue wherein I have created an ABAP ALV grid display in a WD ABAP application and hosted it onto portal. Now, all the users can see the correct number of columns for the report which are determined dynamically. But just for one user, irrespective of which report she launches it shows her only 4 columns.
Can anybody suggest why this kind of behavior.
    Appreciate your help.
    Regards,
    Samta.

    Hi,
Right, click the button "manage layout" or "save layout" and remove any default user settings...
added: didn't read carefully sorry ;)... better check user settings in SU01 if no ALV parameter is used.

  • Why does 'User not registered for online use' show up when I try to import a cd into itunes. None of the cd info shows up either

Why does 'User not registered for online use' show up when I try to import a cd into itunes? None of the cd info shows up either.

Well, the format I upload from the camera is "video clip" or "video for Windows"...sometimes I've converted them to avi format, too. But as I said, it never even lets me get that far...I never get to even select a clip. As soon as I tell the program to "import/clip" it freezes up before I can even go to the folder that the clips are in. It has only begun to do this recently, and I'd never had any problems like this before. Last night I tried it again, and I clicked "open composition", and it froze when I did that too.
I'm not sure how much more specific I can be about the details of the clips, since I'm positive it has nothing to do with the clips themselves...I'm running Windows XP, though...Home Edition Service Pack 2, Pentium 4 CPU 2.80GHz, with 504 MB of RAM. I have had the automatic updates turned on since I did my last reformat a couple of weeks ago. Could it have something to do with some kind of an update it may have done?

  • How to setup a additional user for save websurfing

i want to install a additional user just for save websurfing in dangerous webregions,
so that the access to parts of my hd contents are locked.
what do i have to consider and setup
    to get this?

    Hi Andy,
Create a new account, make it non-admin.
Open System Preferences >> Accounts >> "+" do NOT check "allow user to administer account". Turn on your Firewall on the presets, services off.
That said, it still won't fully protect your Mac in "dangerous webregions" the only way to assure safety is to avoid them.
Here are my general rules for security:
While there are no known viruses that attack Mac OS X, it is possible (though not probable) for spyware to get onto your Mac. The best way to avoid that is by using your firewall and/or a hard wired router, downloading only from "trusted" sites, installing all security updates and being careful about what you give administrative power to. It is also recommended to run day to day tasks from a non-admin account.
Don't use Limewire or any other P2P service to download your software, get it from reputable sources. In addition, always keep at least your users backed up, preferably a clone of your entire system on a separate disk. And put your sensitive passwords, bank accounts, credit card numbers in a "secure note" in a new keychain or in an encrypted folder.

my mac startup is very slow, it goes white for long before showing user account, how do i cure this illness?

    1) System Preferences > Startup Disk ...
to set your correct Stratup Disk  AND
    2) Run one pass of Disk Utility "Repair Disk" from another source such as by booting to Recovery_HD OR
Restart in Safe Mode (which does the "Repair Disk" as it starts up).

  • How to sweep user personalization of POWL for OSA?

    All:
We've had people personalizing their Objective Setting and Appraisal (OSA) Personal Object Work List (POWL) by creating new queries, changing existing queries, and changing settings. This is happening both in ESS and MSS. We'll be removing all of those options from the screen. However, we need to sweep the personalization they've already done. I understand this works differently than other POWLs.
How do we delete personalization done by users to the OSA POWLs for ESS and MSS?
    Thank you,
    Jerry

    Vijay:
Thanks.  Our portal team knows how to disable personalization.  My concern is that people have already made changes that we need to remove.  For example, users have changed queries and hidden their own list of evaluations in the overview tab.  In another place, someone removed a link that we want to keep out there.
Is the ability to delete personalization that users have already done cleared by doing this activity you describe below?  Is there a transaction we need to run to sweep what they have already personalized?
    Thank you,
    Jerry

  • Added additional user. How do I configure password for this user?

Have two different accounts. Second accound added but don't understand how to cinfigure password for this account.

A bit confused by your query, so can you clarify a few points.
    re: added additional user
You do not add additional users to Thunderbird, so I presume you mean you have tried to create another mail account for someone else in your own profile.
You do not configure passwords for other peoples email addresses as that would be a privacy issue and only they should do it.
    Lets start at the begining.
If more than one person is using a computer, they should have their own User Account which they access via a password they choose. This gives them their own desktop view and access to programs installed on computer, such as Thunderbird.
Thunderbird will be available for them to use.
When you run it for the first time in their User Account, it will create a Profile in their User Account.
Thunderbird will also then ask you to create a mail account in that Profile.
The details you enter will ask for Name. email address and a password.
That password is the same password they use to access their email in their webmail account using a browser, so only they should know that password and they should not divulge it to anyone - however in some cases, eg: spouses, they may know each others password.
You can choose whether Thunderbird remembers the password or not before creating the account, but the password would still be required to configure the mail account.
This method means that no one can see that persons emails nor access their password details because they do not know the password to the computer User Account.
If you have only the one admin User Account which several people use, then anyone has access to anything on that computer. This may be fine if eg; spouses share the computer, but it is not a practise that should be used in any other environment.
If you have mail accounts created in the same Thunderbird profile, then all mail and passwords are freely available for anyone to see and this may not be desired.
Some people use only the one User Account, but they have their own Profile created in Thunderbird.
When Thunderbird was initially run, it created a defult Profile, but you can add additional Profiles using the Profile Manager.
The mail account is created in that Profile and then they can apply a Master Password in Thunderbird.
This means that anyone can still see anyone's emails as on startup as anyone can select any Profile.
But, the access to passwords is locked and removal of Master Password will remove all stored paswords to safe guard privacy.

  • SAP Sizing for additional users and functionality

Our company is currently doing an SAP HCM rollout project to the other departments. The current exercise is of determining hardware requirements should these be necessary. Currently the configuration is as follows there is a Central Instance with 8 processors x 1.8Ghz and 24GB of RAM, and there are two dialogue instances with also the same specs. The solution has FI/CO, MM and HCM modules and currently the total 3824 users and they are growing at an average of 30 users every month. The HCM rollout is likely to bring on board a further 5000 users onto the system.
The second scenario is on the portal server were they are deploying ESS and MSS with a JCO to the R/3 production as the backend system, currently there are 1800 users and we are looking at adding about 6000 additional users.
Currently the portal box has 8 processors x 1.8Ghz and 24 GB RAM.
All the servers mentioned above are Proliant BL480c G1.
What would be the ideal hardware specs to host the users and the solution.

Also as far as I am aware, by default, simultaneous logon is only available for RFXs with two-envelope RFX responses. The following is a detailed explanation of the process from 1 of my colleagues:
    Two-Envelope response opening process:
    01. Buyer creates a RFx/Bid invitation with the transaction type that
is configured for two envelope bidding.
    02. Enter the mandatory datas: submission deadline, bidders, items,
permissions for technical/price/tender fee opening, etc
    03. Publish RFx.
    04. Login with bidder and "Participate" to receive emails.
    05. If tender fee is requested, then pay tender fee with bidder user.
    06. Create a Response with bidder user and submit.
    07. Now you have to wait till the submission deadline has been passed
to give the chance for the other bidders to participate in the RFx
        process.
    08. After the submission deadline has been passed the buyer has to
"Initiate Price/Technical RFx Response Opening" for a certain given
time (which can be set earlier.)
    09. A new window will pop up to start the simultaneous logon.
    10. Provide password and hit the approve button.
    11. The pop up window will display Technical Opener's name.
We can see the time remaining to perform the Technical opening
    12. In the next step, we will have to login to perform the technical
opening. Do NOT close this window or do NOT logoff from the portal.
If you think you will require more time to perform the technical
opening you can extend this time. This will give additional minutes
        to perform the opening.
    13. To perform technical opening:
Login to WTS or open a new session of Internet Explorer and login
to Portal. At this point in time, you will have two sessions:
        - one on your local computer
        - and one in WTS/New session
    14. Open the rfx and click on Open technical rfx response.
    15. The Technical Opener/Reviewer now authenticates himself/herself by
entering the password. After it hit "Approve" button.
    16. In the next step you will receive a message:
        "User approval successful"
    17. The Simultaneous Logon and opening of technical/price RFx response
        is now performed.
    18. Hit on Close button to close the pop up.
    19. Hit on Close to close the RFx screen.
    20. You have to wait till the Response opening time has been passed.
    21. After the time has been passed the Response can be opened.
If the document changes in the meantime and if it needs approval (no
automatic approval is configured) then you have approve the documents
in the process with a given user.
    I hope that this helps.
    Kind regards,
    Conor

  • DR server still showing consolidation users and messages from production

We are doing a DR exercise. My first. We copied the production database to the dr servers. Since they are on the same domain, we put entries in the host files on all our servers to spoof the prod server names to point to dr servers. Moved selected data files for essbase, etc to the dr application disks.
Everything appears to be working except for HFM. I still see production users activity and messages in the shared services console when I go to administer, show consolidation user activity or messages.
I have searched the registry, all database tables I could think of, and the application disks on the HFM and shared services services looking for a hardcoded IP and can not find one.
The message below came out of the hfm config log which has the production database name (which when pinged points to the DR database serrver) but the IP listed is the production IP. Any suggestions?
    (Jul 30, 2010, 10:21:25 AM), com.hyperion.config.wizard.impl.DBWizardState$1$1, DEBUG, DB component setHost: p5wiadbs10.FNFIS.COM/10.132.205.63

    Couple more comments :
1.) WHERE are you accessing HFM Web from? Locally on one of those servers or from another computer?
If this were me at this point, I would break out Fiddler2 (to verify which servers web traffic is coming/going to) and then I would fire up wireshark (all network scanning) to try and figure out what server(s) are trying to talk ot production and when. Network Monitor from MS may be a good option as well as I believe you can see network traffic by PROCESS which will help you narrow down what program(s) are trying to hit production envirionment information. (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=4865)
My understanding is that HFM directly only has cluster information in the HFM database (HSX_CLUSTER_INFO, HSX_CLUTER_CONTROLLERS, HSX_CLUSTER_SERVERS, etc.) There shouldn't be any other machine specific information in HFM database, etc.
I do know that the workspace has some redirects going on in the .CONF file; however, if there was something hardcoded, you would have found that...
My guess is that something in the Shared Services/Foundation Services database is pointing to production as the other servers talk to that machine for config info. Otherwise, something is buried in a web config file, but you should have discovered that already.
2.) Additionally, note that HOSTS file changes only affect DNS resolution. If there are any type of broadcast messages or WINS resolution happening that won't address it. To hardcode WINS resolution, you would update LMHOSTS file in the same folder as HOSTS. Using wireshark to monitor network traffic on the same subnet as those servers would definitely be valuable here...... Broadcast messages would be using MAC address of networkcard and not hostname, for instance.
3.) Maybe try some simpler stuff first. What happens if you re-register the app through workspace? What about unregistering / re-registering server to shared services via configuration utility? (Though, I'd be a little bit concerned that it might unregister your real application if it is talking to production shared services...)

  • Can the Portal Activity Report show unique users per page?

    Hello all
I guess this is a rather simple question, but can someone tell me if the portal activity report can show a count of unique users per page per week for instance?
Or will it just show which users have visited the page in a list without aggregating them to a number? And if the users are aggregated to a number, is it only uniwue users that are counted for the given period?
