Problem when joining the domain MDT 2012

Hi,
CustomSettings.ini is configured to create computers in different OU's depending on their gateway. Works well.<o:p></o:p>
But when the computer exists it won’t move the computer to the right OU. How can I make it move to the right OU?<o:p></o:p>

Hi,
existing computers either need to be removed during re-installation, or they need to be moved by a custom script. There is no other way. Once a machine is already present in an OU, it will not change to the new defined OU.

I am trying to set up an Azure RemoteApp Hybrid solution.
I have created RemoteApp net and uploaded a custom image and all that is fine.
When I link my template to my Collection it fails after provisioning for about an hour.
I recive the following message: Could not provision the RemoteApp collection. Error: Could not join the domain. Unable to reach the domain.
The join domin works fine and I have tryed with account with different lvl of access to my AD.
Any suggestion how to solve this?Hello Eric,
I am landing into the same Problem and i read your guidance on this issue. Let me answer it point by point.
1. Check the VPN state to ensure it is active or connected state:
Sundesh:My Azure RemoteApp Virtual Network after successfull S2S configuration shows as Ready. Is that what you mean by Connected State? Earlier to S2S, it was just under connecting state.
2. Verify your VNET configurations have proper IP address ranges
Sundesh: The VNET address range, the Local address range and DNS has already been verified twice. In fact the same address ranges(with exception to VNET) are working fine on a VENT config on Azure VM instance. Verified.
3. Verify your DNS IP configurations are valid, (often this is the problem)
Sundesh: Yes its done and verified
4. Verify the credentials entered for domain join are valid.
Sundesh: Tested these credentials by joining a regular Azure VM to domain and it works there.
5. Make sure your VPN endpoint that Azure RemoteApp service is connecting to is not blocking traffic.
Sundesh: Can you please let us know the specific port numbers that we need to consider and i can have it checked with the Network team

Unable to load the specified offline registry hive when rejoining the domain
I have a Windows Server 2008 R2 Ent member server that we needed to clone. So we removed it from the domain, cloned it, and when we went back to join it to the domain it we get a error:
The Following error occurred attempting to join the domain: Unable to load the specified offline registry hive. Please ensure you have access to the specified path location and permissions to modify its contents. Running as an elevated administrator
may be required.
There is nothing in event viewer and no other error message then this. I can look at my domain controller and i do see a computer object is created but its like the member server either never gets the message that its done or it can't write to the registry.
I've disabled the firewall. I've tried to verify permission in regedit, to the best i know, and i still get this error.
We have also tried multiple local user accounts, multiple domain admin accounts, renamed the server, changed the workgroup its in. even ran a few registry cleaners.
Nothing works. I need help since this server has to be online 6am Monday morning.Hi,
To add the local administrators in the User Rights assignments
1) Start>Run>gpedit.msc
2) Computer Configuration>Windows Settings>Security Settings>Local Policies>User Rights Assignments
3) Double click on Back up files and directories and add the Administrators.
4) Double click on Restore files and directories and add the Administrators.
5) Close the window and reboot the machine.
6) Try to add the machine to the domain.
If the issue persist, Reset the security database.
1) Open MMC
2) Add Security Configuration and Analysis tool
3) Right click Security Configuration and Analysis in the left pane
4) Select open database
5) In the new database, type in secnew.sdb, click ok.
6) Select setup defltbase.inf as the template to import from C:\Windows\inf, click ok.
7) Rightclick Security Configuration and Analysis in the left pane again
8) Select configure computer
9) Reboot the machine.
10) Try adding the machine to the domain.

Workstations not Joining the Domain after OSD
I have a sporadic problem happening in my Environment. OSD Deployments for the most part finish successful , workstation joins the domain with no issues. At certain locations occasionally the workstation does not join the
domain. Have you seen this happen before? are there logs on the DC or DP which might explain why this is happening?While you are at it grab setupact.log and setuperr.log from two locations, c:\windows\panther and c:\windows\panther\unattendGC. These logs will give more details on why the domain join fails.

I get this error when trying to have my Airport (for wireless printer sharing) join my current O2 Broadband wireless network:
*AirPort Utility was unable to find your Apple wireless device after restarting.*
*The settings for this Apple wireless device have been successfully updated, but there was a problem re-joining the wireless network or finding the Apple wireless device. You may need to select your network from the AirPort menu and try again.*
Anyone have any idea how to fix this?This has been a total joke...Same problems as many here and zero response from Apple! I've had an AX for 3 years or so and it has worked fine, that is until it dropped its connection 2 days ago. I went to reset and the utility prompted me to do some updates...then magically it all went down the tubes!

Well, I tried everything including the many possible fixes listed here at the discussions...and of coarse NOTHING. I returned the new AX today, and surprise the people at the Apple Store had never heard of the issues, let alone have idea of what to do next! VERY MAD!

WinXP computers can't join the domain
Hi, I'm setting up my first Xserve and I'm having troubles making WinXP machines join the domain.
With OS X and Win98 clients I have no problems with the tests accounts I have created, but with with WinXP machines I get the error that they can't Join the domain becouse Access is Denied. I don't think is a configuration error on the server's services or the WinXP boxes becouse I can join the domain and access the account for diradmin OK from the WinXP boxes, so it may be an account configuration problem.
Also the accounts have network home folders, don't know if this might also cause a problem, I did try with no home assigned and still got the same error.
Any help would be appreciatedFixed the problem myself....
Creted a new account and dindn't move anything on it, nothing managed and nothing changed on the account windows tab.
Joined the domain with the diradmin account, and after the reboot used the new test user, logged in fine and home folder was mounted as a Network drive perfectly.

Hi, I am having a little trouble with exporting images to another drive and Catalogue and need some help if anyone can give me some advice
I am currently using Lightroom 5.6 and operating on a Mac with OSX Ver 10.9.5.
I am receiving an error problem when doing the following -
I am exporting selected photos from a particular Catalogue saved on Drive 1 to a folder created on another Drive where a Lightroom Catalogue has been created. In this Catalogue I have arranged for the images once exported to be moved to a different folder - I used the Auto Import process under the File dialogue box.
When processing the Export I receive an error message for each of the images being exported indicating the following -
Heading Import Results
Some import operations were not performed
Could not move a file to requested location. (1)
then a description of the image with file name
Box Save As Box OK
If I click the OK button to each image I can then go to the other Catalogue and all images are then transferred to the file as required.
To click the OK button each time is time consuming, possibly I have missed an action or maybe you can advise an alternative method to save the time in actioning this process.

in the flat file i can see for one of the record for the field Title as
Director, Finance - NAR............there by through my code the wa_empdata_csv-Title is getting splited data as "Director, and Department field is getting Finance - NAR" , i can see that even though " Director, Finance - NAR" is one word it is getting split .
.......which is the problem iam facing.Please could any body let me know how in this case i should handle in my code that this word
"Director,Finance - NAR" wil not be split into two words.

Best way to avoid such problem is to use TAB delimited file instead of comma separated data. Generally TAB does not appear in data.
If you are generating the file, use tab instead of comma.
If you cannot modify the format of file and data length in file is fixed character, you will need to define the structure and then move data in fixed length structure.

If you are the original owner of the phone and know the Apple ID and password that were used to activate it originally, and if you have an existing backup to restore from, you can force it into recovery mode (which will completely erase it) and restore it as explained here: If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. When you do you will encounter activation lock, and will have to provide the ID and password used to activate it originally in order to activate it again. If you can't, you won't be able to activate and use it.

I have problem when updating the latest version of Pro-X, I tried for several times, so I uninstall and re-install it. I've been bitten by the "Missing MSVCR.dll file" problem when downloading the latest iTunes update, 11.4.62 (on a PC w/ Win-7 & Outlook-2007#. 'Have followed Apple's instructions of un-installing all Apple software, and re-installing it (Ugh). First result Outlook couldn't find my 1,385 item contact file in iCloud, although the outlook distribution lists were there. Second result, upon installing iCloud again, I have two iCloud contact files shown in outlook - "iCloud" & iCloud, within iCloud". 1,332 & 1,385 contacts respectively.
Plus an iCloud installation error message saying iCloud moved 6,835 files to a "deleted items folder" somewhere. This is NOT fun at 72-yrs old...!!
So, how do I make sure I haven't lost anythying from Outlook? You can safely assume that I have tried using it! So, to make things a little clearer:
1) I now have two iCloud "contacts files", w/ a different total count. What's the difference? Why the different toatl count?
2) Since re-installing the Apple software (part of the MSVCR" recovery instructions) "couldn't possible affected Outlook", why am I getting an iCloud installation error message saying iCloud moved 6,835 files to a "deleted items folder" somewhere. What's in those files? And where are they?
Probably more important questions get down to:
3) Why is a basic Apple product upgrade "screwing-up Outlook"? This iTunes upgrade, failing to install properly forced Outlook 2007 into a 2-min start-up cycle. Which was fixed with this "Goat-Rpdeo" of re-installing MSVCR80.dll.
4) And under the latest release of iOS-7.0.4 on our iPhones, why is Apple now forcing us to use the iCloud to back-up our contacts, calendars & tasks, vs. allowing these files to be backed-up directly on our PC's via the USB cable?

A veil around the blurred photo, a development impossible and completely unable to read the bar code or QR code. What to do?Sounds kind of stupid, but check to make sure that your iphone case cover is not blocking the edge of the camera lens. I had a silicone case on my 3S and when it got older, it started tot slip and the edges of my pictures were blurred.

WDS clients not joining the domain
Hi all
Recently set up a 2012R2 server in our domain as a WDS server. After syspreping Win7 x64 with an unattend file and capturing images the machines just don't want to join the domain, after windows install it gets to the "Applying system settings"
and hangs for 15 minutes (while i assume it tried to join the domain) then eventually restarts but with no domain join, everything else in the unattend file works fine bar the domain join. I've tried with secure join and unsecure join but none work. Using
no unattend file the domain join works fine.
I've searched every forum and tried various methods to get this working but still no joy.
Can anyone suggest anything?
