Production Quantity  should trigger Maintenance Order -reg

Hi,
As of now we are using maintenance scheduling for PM work orders for the maintenance of equippments . We create maintenance plans and schedule them  and a sof now as per the schedule every 4 months once we are getting PM workorder and through that we are doing the maintenance of the equippment .
I undertsand that there is a way to get the schedule orders as per the actual quantity produced  ,by assigning the equippment to the operation in routing of the assembly part number .And  the production quantity reaches certain value a maintenance order should be triggered, for addressing thsi what and all steps we have to execute ?
our main issue is we are working on REM and we dont confirm any operations ? then how can the maintenance order triggering can be linked to actual production ?
in discrete also when the order is confirmed at header level , how this is maintained
is it not possible in case of REM to get maintenance order  when the production reaches certain set value ?
please help
regards,
Madhu Kiran.

Dear Madhu,
Please refer the followings for your questions & answers.
Q1. Will the system continues giving order after each 100 tonnes readings?
Ans: Yes it will continue generating PM Order till you enter reading & reset the counter after overflow.
Q2. If i continue recording the counter readings after 1 st maintenance , will it give once reading goes beyond 200, 2 nd maintenance order, 300 , 3 rd maintenance order like that ?
Ans: Yes exactly the same way.
Q3. I need to know further what settinsg are required to link all these?
Ans: 1) Just create the performance based maintenance plan.
2) Create equipment with measuring point. Mark it as counter. Enter the annual performance reading & overflow reading. You can create measuring point through eqipment or directly by using IK01.
3) Schedule maintenance plan. Start the maintenance plan with last reading when the maintenance was carried out or else no maint. carried out enter reading as zero.
4) Executr maintenance & PM Order.
Q4. We have equipments, we can create characteristics ,link to equippment through class or create measuring point and assign to equippment which is correct ?
Ans: Create measuring point for equipment (wherein characters are created) either through equipment or by using IK01.

    Hi,
You may consider an enhancement with a user exit:FORM USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE in include MV50AFZ1.
Here you can put additional conditions to check the delivery qty and also can put a message for the user to correct the delivery qty in case he has manully increased it.
Please reward points if this helps.

  • Block production work center during maintenance order

    Dear Experts,
iam trying to do the integration between PM and PP, I want to block the production work center from any production order  when there is any maintenance order opened for a certain equipment which is inside this  work center ,
till now i did the following:
    1) the production work center is now inside the equipment location tab
    2) when i open any maintenance order i put system condition as zero
now what i only achieved ,
    - in transaction CM25 the capacity is black for the period of the maintenance order
BUT the work center is not blocked and any production order can be created without any error
please help and much thanks in advance
    Best Regards

    Hi,
Till time you have performed right things to integrate PP-PM & system is also responding according to setting.
Showing block capicity in CM25 against the Maintenance Order.
If you want to block production order as well, you need to do one more setting.
go to t- code OIOI, selection Production order types (those you want to block) & in capacity Availabilty choose Collect conversion as 3 : No creation if there is insufficiant caacity.
i hope this will definately solve your problem.

    Hi All,
When a maintenance order is in "CHANGE" mode, I want a particular filed in the maintenance order to be in "DISPLAY" mode (i.e: Masked, so that no changes can be made). Currently that filed is in "OPEN" mode (so that changes can be made).
    The field is as follows:
    In "Components" tab;
    by double-clicking the item number;
    "General Data" tab is displayed;
    in general data tab; under "general indicators" screen;
    "CostingRelevncy"  field
(Table Name - RESBD / Field Name - SANKA)
I need this field to be in display mode when the order is in "Change" mode.
I tried to look around for this field in SPRO, but in vain.
Request furnish the menu path in SPRO or some other way, so that this requirement could be accomplished.
    Many thanks in advance.

  • Srap quantity should reduce planned order quantity

    Hi Gurus,
I have a scenario here and i wanted to know if this can be technically achieved .
1.We have IDOC flowing from legacy system and it consists of both good quantities produced and scrap quantities produced .
2.Good quantity produced must be reported as a reporting point confirmation. Scrap quantity produced must be reported as reporting point scrap.  Scrap quantity produced must also reduce the planned order planned order quantity.
3.Function module currently calls BAPI 'BAPI_REPMANCONF1_CREATE_MTS’ to post good Pieces Produced, can the same BAPI be used to call the scrap quantity and reduce the planned order ?
I have tried 'BAPI_PLANNEDORDER_CHANGE’ to achieve this scenario but still the planned order quantity is not getting reduced.
I want to know the feasibility to achieve this in technical or functional side .
Kindly help me to solve this problem , rewards would be generous enough for people who solve my problem.
    Regards,
    PKP

    Hi Santosh,
Yes, it's true, it would simplify a lot. Unfortunately it can't be done.
These are high-end, high value and small life-cycle components and some packaging materials. Packaging materials are relatively easy to stock for one week or more but the other components should only be stocked to a minimum level.
Moreover, suppliers of high-end components do not feel the need to respect scheduled delivery dates because they "own" the market, so we can't be sure when stock will be available. The high demand for this components also adds more uncertainty because there might be only (unplanned) partial deliveries during the week as of production is available and distributed for us and other supplier's vendors.
Oh, and a production lot can really be of as low as 40 units in some cases.
Well anyway, I've tried the ATP approach but immediately run into a problem. In the morning I might be assembling a component (A) for the afternoon and I have a delivery scheduled for the morning of another component (B). I can't plan the afternoon production of a product with both components. Even being 2-3 days, in some very frequent cases we should immediately start production as soon as components arrive.
So ATP isn't very adequate even in the shortest time-frame to plan production in this scenario.
Thanks a lot for your input Santosh, it was worth a shot. Right now I can't see an option other than copy SAP_PP_009 to a new heuristic that reduces planned orders to component availability or to use a very small maximum lot size for these short production runs.

    Edgar

  • Maintenance Orders

    hi
When i am setling the plant maintenance orders. A controling document is being posted, i think this is not correct. please explain whats is wrong. I have one activity type MAINT which is being used by Product cost collector and Maintenance orders. This is assinged to Maintenance cost center and Productive cost collectors.
KSS2 - cost splliting for Maintenance cost center 20170
KSII - Activity price calculation for Maintenance cost center 20170
    KOn1- Revaluation of maintenance orders
    KO88 - Maintenance order settlement.
Following CO document is being posted.
    a) 20014 (Production cost center Dr) $ 100 = Maintenance order CR $ 100
    b) 20170 (Maintenance cost center Dr) $ 100 = 20014 (Production cost center CR) US$ 100.
I think (b) is wrong, because $ 100 balance showing on 20170 (Maintenance cost center) ksb1 report against 804030 (internal activity cost element catgory 43).
Resultantly when I run KSS2 for production cost center 20014 this varianc amount splitted for all four activity types because 804030 is not included in No Splitting element group and it should not be as well.
    Hope u understand my point.

    Hi,
you can use FM SWB_CHECK_FB_START_COND_EVAL as a basis to make your own.
Basically, if a raise occurs in this FM, it won't trigger the Workfloe.

  • Deletion of Reservation item generated from Maintenance Order

    We have a peculiar problem.
In Production system, weu2019ve close Maintenance Order that has a component reservation. When closing the Maintenance Order, the reservation has been set deletion flag but two components are not being marked for deletion.
We only have two reservations on Production system with this situation, on any other cases the reservation takes the deletion flag when closing the Maintenance Order.
    What could be the problem?

    Hi,
Check whether you have done good issue for that component .
whenever you do Teco open resurvation will cancelled.

  • Line item deletion in Maintenance order

    Hi Guru's
Please let me know how to find the deleted line item in the component tab of maintenance order before saving.
for eg. The user creates the following line item in the component tab of the maintenance order.
Before saving he deletes the line item 20.
    Item   component   qty
    10       100001        10
    20       100003        20
Please let me know  where exactly the deleted status is stored, before saving for the line item
    Regards
    Vidhyadharan

    Hi Pete
We are trying to prevent the user from creating product line items in Maintenance order with respect to equipment BOM. Let me explain you the scenario
Equipment 1000201 - contains the following components as BOM
    1002775 - qty 2
    1003326  - qty 1
When the user creates the order , he tries to withdraw more qty than the qty specified iin BOM. We have controlled it using enhancement IWO10009.  Initially we didn't anticipate that the  control can  be skipped by duplicating the material (i.e material line) eg line no 10 :1002775 - qty 2 and line no 20: 1002775 - qty 2 and the transaction is saved. In order to control, we have modified the program accordingly and never allow the user to save, if there is a duplication of material.
The problem started when the user tries to save the line item after deleting the duplicate material
The check we used doesn't not allow the user to save inspite of the line item been deleted. The msg introduced keep repeating .
We tried debugging the program, we wouldn't find any  deletion indicator in the structure   CAUFVD_IMP or resb  to overcome this bug.
Can you pls let us know where exactly the deletion indicator or status is stored for the line item in the component tab before saving
    Regards
    Vidhyadharan

    Hi,
If the Manual intervention is eliminated for processing of the data then the SO Line Item Qty will be equal to Production order Qty.

  • Open purchase order only with open production or maintenance order

    Hi everyone,
I am looking for a report that would show open purchase order but only linked to open orders (I am here talking about the source production or maintenance order in the Account Assignement tab).
I have already checked transactions ME2L and ME2N but these do not seem helpfull.
Thanks in advance for your help.
    Kind Regards,
    Olivier

Use ME2K and enter the A/C category faor Production order and Maintenance order
make sure that Selection parameter should be selected as open GR and if you want to make your own filter than
go to SPRO-MM-Purchaisng-reporting-selection parameter-define sel parameter
here you can create your own and use that for report.

  • Colective Settlement and "CLSD"Status for Production and Maintenance Orders

    Hi dear experts,
Is that possible to use transaction KO8G for collective settlement of Production Orders? Apparently it only works for Maintenance Orders.
The same applies for transaction CO99 for getting "Closed" status in Orders. Apparently it does not take the Production Orders, even if the selection "With CO Production Orders" is active. Is there any additional configuration we should do?!
We would like to do settlement (and mass set "Close" status after) for Production and Maintenance Orders at the same time.
    Thanks in advance,
    Lígia Moreira

    Hi,
You can use CO88 for settlement of production orders. Normally, CO99 should take production orders if the flag is switched. Do you receive any error when you do it?

  • Purchase Order Quantity should not be more than PR quantity

    Dear all,
We want to control Purchase Order quantity against Purchase Requisition.
We have configured message setting 00 076 as  ERROR. when we create Material PR for lets say 100 quantity. When we create single or multiple Material PO against this PR for more than 100 quantity system is giving us error. This is exactly what we needed.
But due to this message setting when we create Service PR and give service quantity lets say 100. and when we create Service PO and give Service quantity 60. First time system is allowing to save the Service PO.
When we create another Service PO with reference to same Service PR system is showing error as we have configured. Even though quantity 40 is still available.
What we want is to have control on quantity of Purchase Order for Material as well as service. Quantity should not be more than PR quantity.
Is there any other way to have such control? please provide other available options to configure.
    Regards
    Kant

    Hi,
06 076 is only for applicable only in case of material.
For Service and material both, use 06 400 as error "Materials/services for requisition & & already ordered with & &"
    NOtes 786736
    This may help u !
