Project Deliveries - Copy Control

Hello experts!
we do have the requirement to bring the WBS-Element into a project delivery (not only the project ID as copied into LIPS-PSPNR). We have adapted the standard copy Routine as follows:
FORM DATEN_KOPIEREN_802.
PERFORM DATEN_KOPIEREN_302.
LIPS-PS_PSP_PNR = Xkomdlgn-PSPNR.
ENDFORM.
As a result, LIPS-PS_PSP_PNR is not filled with the WBS-Element from the project but with the following entry:
<<<PR00008230>>> (??? instead of M/02820.M11 as in the project).
Also, when we tried to copy into another (free) field, the WBS-Element was not copied.
If this is not possible via Xkomdlgn, is there another option to fetch
the data?
Thank you very much in advance for your help and kind regards,
stefan

Hi Abdul,
In copy - only the document will be copied including the head and item details and this will not have any link to the previous document(that you have copied from) i.e it will be an independent document.
In copy control - With the header and the item details copied to the subsequent document there will also be the link with the previous document.
For ex: If can create lead as a follow up to the activity transaction and you will find this link on the document flow in both the transactions.
reward points if helpful.

  • Copy control from PO to outbound delivery

    How is the customization of the copy control from the purchase order to outbound delivery is done (especially for the intercompany processes)?
    Thanks in advance for the answers.

    The customization of purchase order to delivery are done two places, first at SPRO->Materials management->Purchasing->purchase order->set up stock transport order. Here the customer number/sales area are assigned to both supplying and delivering plants. From this customer number, the shipping data are utilized in creating the shipping document, for example shipping conditions. The copy control from purchase order to delivery is done at SPRO->Logistics execution->shipping->deliveries->copying control->specify copy control for deliveries. Here check the settings made for DL ->NL (STO) and  DL->NLCC (Cross company) copy control settings. The delivery document types NL and NLCC are assigned with value B-Purchase order required in the order required field in t.code 0VLK. By this way, the system understands, the data must be copied from purchase orders.

  • Copy Control between Sales Orders and Deliveries

    Hi Gurus,
    please can you tell me why copy control between Sales Order and Delivery doesn't work?
    At header level, into copy control, we can set 2 requirement routines, one as general requirement for copying (TVCPL-AUBED) and the other one as requirement for grouping orders into deliveries (TVCPL-AUZUS).
    At header level we can also set a routine for data transfer to define how data are passed from Sales Order header to Delivery header (TVCPL-GRUAK).
    Then we can set routines at item level, one as requirement (TVCPL-AUBED) and one as data transfer (TVCPL-GRUAP).
    When delivery is created with VL10A transaction, at header level only the first  general requirement routine is used (FV50B***). Grouping requirement is not used (we also set a break point and the program is not passing into this routine).
    Then it is used the requirement routine at item level (FV50B***).
    Please can you tel me how we camake working the routine for grouping requirement at header level?
    Thank you very much.
    Kind Regards
    Andrea

    Hi, we used standard routine even if to be sure we run also the generation report you mentioned.
    Please any other suggestions?
    Thank you very much.

  • Copying projects in source control

    RH10 | WebHelp
    We've recently implemented RoboSource Control and I'm hoping someone can tell me how to copy a project that it is already under its control. With each version of our software we need to duplicate the previous version's projects so that we can use them as the basis of the current version.
    I had been told that I could open a project from version control to a different folder, remove it from version control, and then add it back into version control to a different folder. This, in theory, should give a duplicate copy. However, the removing from version control bit deletes the original project from version control, not the copy. You then have add both projects back into version control to their respective folders, which is not desirable.
    Is there an easier (or correct) way to do this?
    Thanks
    Jonathan

    Thanks for that.
    I found an article on Rick Stone's website and, after trying a few different method, it seems like the best way to copy a project. Here's what I did:
    1. Open the project you want to copy in RoboHelp, and make sure you ‘get’ the latest set of files from RSC. Close the project.
    2. In Windows Explorer, copy the local version of the RoboHelp project to a new folder.
    3. Select all the files in the new folder and make sure they are all writable (right-click > Properties > untick Read only > OK).
    4. Delete the copy’s <projectname>.cpd and pblsvrs.sss files.
    5. Open the copy’s <projectname>.xpj file in Notepad and replace this section:
    <miscproperties>
               <matchedpair>
                    <name>vc::agent</name>
                    <value>MSSCC</value>
               </matchedpair>
               <matchedpair>
                    <name>vc::provider</name>
                    <value>RoboSource Control 3.1</value>
               </matchedpair>
               <matchedpair>
                    <name>vc::database</name>
                    <value>NG7EMOTYBUX</value>
               </matchedpair>
               <matchedpair>
                    <name>vc::cookie</name>
                    <value>$/<project-folder>/<project>@:ROBOSOURCE</value>
               </matchedpair>
         </miscproperties>
    With:
            <miscproperties/>
    6. Close Notepad and save your changes.
    7. Open the copy in RoboHelp – you can now work on the project as if it had never been associated with RSC! – and use the Add to Version Control option to add the copy to its new location in RSC.

  • New copy control requirement for deliveries

    Hi
    I am trying to create new copy control requirement for deliveries in VOFM tcode. when i enter 901 and enter it is asking for access key. is it that we nned to et access for creating custom requirements also or am i doing somehting wrong.?
    thanks
    sankar

    Hi Sankara,
    The number space between 500 and 999 is customer space for defining the routines. since you want to define a custom rotuine
    you need to get the access key from sap for that.
    the access key will be generated for the 901 routine that you want to develop

  • Delivery copy control Issue

    Dear All,
    I created a new order type, Item category, Delivery type and delivery item category. Maintain copy controls  too.
    But system is not allowing to do delivery.Error Message '
    Copying is not poss.because an entry is missing in Table TVCPL; ZTAN- LF.
    I searched in forum too no solution in most of the cases. Entry is reflecting in Table TVCPL.
    May you pls advise
    Regards,
    DP

    Hello,
    If you need your flow to be a Z*** order-> Z*** delivery, then it is correct not to maintain a copy control from Z*** order->LF delivery.
    What I can suggest is to:
    1. Remove your copy control from Z*** order->LF delivery.
    2. Review your entry in transaction VTLA ans make sure that  you have only now the copy control from Z*** order-> Z*** delivery.
    2.1. Make sure you have the item category/(ies) from the order in the configuration of the item level in transaction VTLA
    2.2. If you need a new item category in the delivery, you can make a new item category determination.  But in most cases, this is just copied from the sales order (see documentation in SPRO path for copying control for deliveries).
    Sample Entries in TVCPL
    Delivery Type//Sales Doc Type//Item Category
    ZEBB             //ZBR2                                          <-this is my copy control header level
    ZEBB             //ZBR2                //ZB70               <-this is my copy control item level; ZB70 is the item category as determined in the preceding Sales Order ZBR2
    3. Make sure you also have the proper copying requirements and data transfer routines depending on the business requirement.
    Good luck,
    Eva

  • How to make use of customer reserve pricing types in copying control

    Hi All
    Please inform how to make use of 'customer reserve' pricing types like 'X,Y,Z & 1-9' keys in copying control.
    Right now I'm on maintenance & supporting project for european client.  They used pricing type 'Z' for copying condition records from stadard sales order to returns(RE) order.  I wanted to know that what is 'Z' and how it is functioning to resolve one urgent ticket assigned to me.
    Could you please guide me where should I verify its logic.
    Thanks & Regards
    Seshu

    Hi Seshu,
    Pricing type changes will done at user exit level. You may want to look at the user exit USEREXIT_PRICING_RULE (module pool SAPLV61A, program RV61AFZA)
    Also, OSS note 24832 will help you to get an understanding.

  • STO Process Copy control settings

    Dear Gurus,
    I am having issues with item number in purchase order and delivery document. I require the same item numbers in purchase order to be copied to delivery document. I think i got to do something with copy control settings. Please help me. I am confused since its an STO process.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi George,
    Here customization can be done as follows:
    Step 1: SPRO --> MM --> Purchasing --> PO --> Set up STO
    In this step the customer number and sales area is assigned to Supplying & Delivering plants.
    Step 2: SPRO --> Logistics Execution --> Shipping --> Delivery --> Copy control --> Specify Copy control for Deliveries
    Check the settings made for DL to NL (STO) and DL to NLCC (Cross company) copy control settings.
    Step 3: T.Code OVLK
    The Delivery document types NL and NLCC needs to be assigned with "B" in the order required field. Thus, the system understands the data for delivery document has to be copied from Purchase order.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sharan

  • Copy Control of Payment Terms

    Hi all,
    We group multiple deliveries into one invoice for one customer. Am maintaining Payment terms in my sales orders but i cld not c the same in Invoice Header data. Its showing blank.
    Doc flow: Sales order->Delivery->Invoice.
    is that because of some copy controls? If yes, is tht should be from Sales doc to billing doc?
    what should be the requirement? is that am supposed to do it or i need to take help of a abaper?
    Please advice soon.
    thanks in advance.
    Cheers,
    Anil

    Dear Anil
    Yes I too know that Payment Terms will come from sale order.  If you do billing against sale order, then you have to make copy control accordingly.
    You said that you have done "sale order - delivery - invoice", which means, you have to maintain copy controls <b>VTLA</b> (<i>Sale order to Delivery</i>) and <b>VTFL</b> (<i>Delivery to Billing</i>).
    Having said that by default, Payment Term should flow to your billing.  I dont know why you are not getting.
    Since so far, I have never come across with similar issue, I have only suggested you.  Testing it or not its upto you !!!!!!
    Thanks

  • PO to delivery copy control

    Dear All,
    I have this situation where I create a delivery for a Purchase order STO process.
    Now my requirement is that I want the exact value of Item number in Purchase order to also be in the Delivery.
    Example
    in PO i have item
    Item Number      Item
    010                    ABC
    020                    XYZ
    030                    MNO
    So now when i create a delivery without item number 020 because of E.g Differnt delivery date.Then i want the new delivery to have the following
    Item Number      Item
    010                      ABC
    030                     MNO
    Maybe copy control might help,But can anyone help me to actually make the code changes ,or is there any other way.
    thanks

    Alice,
    I cannot think of the right solution but I wanted to say that this can be a little tricky. I remember working on something similar. If you are thinking of VOFM - > DATA TRANSFER -> DELIVERIES, then you need to consider this.
    Even though you have CVBAK and LIPS structure, CVBAK will have all the line items from the order irrespective of what will be going into the delivery. So if there is a split due to delivery date, the second time the order is referenced to create the 2nd delivery, even then CVBAK will have all the line items.
    I would ask you to consider about thinking of other user exits in MV50* as well before making your mind on routines.
    Also, check if this can be controlled using SPRO.
    Thanks,
    Vikram.M

  • Copy control for sale office in delivery

    Hi,
    In our delivery note the field sale office is blank... we need that this field will be filled by copy control or user exit from document sale (order sale)... always the deliveries are for the same sales office.
    Any clues for achiving this?
    Best Regards
    Juan

    Hi
    As mentioned in the above answer, please follow the following steps.
    1. Got VOFM - > Data Transfer -> Deliveries.
    2. Copy Routine 1 to 601.
    3. Go in the code of routine 601 and add the following line.
    MOVE CVBAK-VKBUR TO LIKP-VKBUR.
    4. Activate the routine.
    5. Go to copy control for deliveries Tcode - VTLA.
    6. Select the necessary combination of order type and delivery type.
    7. change the assignment of routine for header data to 601 and save.
    you shud be abe to achieve the desired result.

  • Copying control: Delivery to Billing

    Hi,
    I´m having problems concerning copying control between deliveries and billing documents.
    I already maintained the proper copy data in Tcode VTFL either in header and item levels, but I´m still getting the error message "the document is not relevant for billing".
    I don´t know what I´m missing here.
    Regards.

    Hi
    Please check in the Item Category(VOV7) - for the field BILLING RELEVANCE. This could be Order related Billing. Change it to Delivery Related Billing and try. It should work if all your configurations are correct.
    Thanks,
    Ravi

  • How to move a project in source control

    I messed up & need your advice. I put my first RH project, "core", at the root level of my VSS project:
    $
    rh_projects
       core
    Unfortunately, my "core" RH project is now a child project in a merged help system.  I also put the "parent" project at the root level, so now it looks like this in VSS:
    $
      rh_projects
         core
         parent
    ... but my VSS folder structure really should reflect my real folder structure, so that other writers can use the same structure when they open the project.
    So I want to change my VSS folder structure to this:
    $
      rh_projects
        parent
        projects
           core
    So here's my question (finally!):  what's the best way to move the core project in VSS?
    * In RH, remove the core project from source control, then put it back under source control at the new folder level, OR
    * In VSS, add the new "projects" folder structure and move the "core" folder underneath it, then open it in RH as a "new" project?
    thanks,
    Jenny

    Either way should work.
    Method 1 will ensure the source control path in the RH files points to the correct VSS location
    Method 2 will keep your change history if this is important to you. However, it is trickier to do.  Zip up a copy of your project just in case.
    Method 2 details
    If you use this method, you need to manually change the VSS path listed in the .xpj file.
    Look for something similar to the following. It may be different depending on your versions of RH and VSS. The below is from RH6 and VSS2005. '[' represents and angle bracket.
    [matchedpair]
               [name]vc::cookie[/name]
               [value]"$/Dev/Source/Documentation/MyProject", ZTZQBAAA[/value]
    [/matchedpair]
    You will need to change the [value] line: change the path beginning with $ to your project location.
    I don't think you need to change the 8 character code after the comma, but I was never quite sure what it meant. If want to be safe or things don't work, create a temporary new project and add it to VSS at the same level as your project. Copy the bit in green from the temp project and paste it into your real one. Delete the temp project.
    Also make sure you delete the .cpd file before opening the project as this sometimes remembers the old location.

    Hi,
    If you are getting the Table name in which the Entry is missing, Goto -> SM31, Enter the Table name -> Select Customizing -> Continue without Specifying Project.
    System will take you to the desired node in which the entry needs to be maintained.
    Please check with this and confirm.

  • Copy control for inbound delivery

    Hi All,
    I need some help for copy control for inbound delivery. Can any one let me know where is the customization for this?
    Is it t.code VTLA.
    Path in IMG:Logistics Exectuion-->Shipping>copy control--
    >specify copy control for delivery
    But I am not sure if the above is the correct customization path.
    The reason....
    for target document type EL(Inbound delivery) the source document type is DL (order type schduling agreement). Ideally for inbound delivery the source document type should be purchase order. But I can't find the purchase order document types in F4 option.
    All documents which are showing are sales order.
    Awiting your reply.
    Regards,
    Sushanta

    Specify Copy Control for Deliveries
    In this menu option, you define control data for the document flow of deliveries.
    You can specify for a particular delivery type, which document type is to be assigned to copied reference documents, and which item categories are to be copied.
    You must also make specifications for copying requirements and data transfer, as well as quantity and value updates in document flow. This must be done for each copying procedure at header and item level on a detail screen.
    Note
    If you define new sales document types, item categories or schedule line categories by copying existing ones, the SAP system automatically copies all specifications for the document flow. You may want to check the copy controls for newly created sales document types, item categories or schedule line categories.
    Actions
    1. Check the document flow defined in the standard SAP R/3 System.
    2. Define to what extent you have to modify its specifications to meet your requirements.
    3. Define the document flow for deliveries with reference to sales document types.
    Note
    Make sure to maintain copy control for the following areas:
    Sales documents
    Deliveries
    Billing documents
    If you cannot find an entry, check the copy controls in other chapters.
    Complete overview of copy control:
    In the chapter on sales, you can find copy controls for:
    Sales documment by sales document
    Billing document by sales document
    In the chapter on deliveries, you can find copy controls for:
    Sales document by delivery
    In the chapter on billing, you can find copy controls for:
    Sales document by billing document
    Delivery by billing document
    Billing document by billing document
