Proxy to JBDC synchronous process

Hi,
The process is the following:
SAP   -->  XI  -->  3rd Party          and back          3rd Party  -->  XI  -->  SAP
A proxy will kick-off the process synchronously where XI will go and pick-up the data from tables(JDBC) at the 3rd Party. As the records are picked-up, so we will update the records with an indicator to indicate that they have been picked-up, so that they are not picked-up again the next time around. XI will then attempt to deliver the data to SAP.
The question is the following, On the way back to SAP, ie: the leg from XI to SAP, if there is a break in communication and XI cannot deliver to SAP, remembering that it is a synchronous process, the message will "error" in XI, which cannot be restarted in XI. What happens to the records in the 3rd Party system that were marked as picked-up. Does the process "roll-back" and unmark the records in the 3rd Party system?
If not, we have a problem and how does one overcome this?
Thanks,
Leanne

<i>Does the process "roll-back" and unmark the records in the 3rd Party system?</i>
According to the standard behaviour, "roll-back" does not occur.
U may configure alerts wherein if the SAP system is down, an alert would be raised and the user at 3rd Party system is notified that the following records are in error

  • Error in Proxy to SOAP synchronous scenario

    Hi Gurus,
Hope you are doing well. I have a Proxy to SOAP synchronous interface interacting with an external system (system outside the firewall/landscape of my company).
When I am trying to post the request message from XI, I am getting the following error.
MP: Exception caught with cause com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: SOAP: response message contains an error XIAdapter/PARSING/ADAPTER.SOAP_EXCEPTION - soap fault: The server was unable to process the request due to an internal error.  For more information about the error, either turn on IncludeExceptionDetailInFaults (either from ServiceBehaviorAttribute or from the <serviceDebug> configuration behavior) on the server in order to send the exception information back to the client, or turn on tracing as per the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 SDK documentation and inspect the server trace logs
In the WSDL provided by the external application, i.e. receiver WSDL, there is no attribute/field with the name 'IncludeExceptionDetailInFaults' and there is no fault string defined.
Where is this error being thrown up? Is it a network/firewall error that XI is unable to determine?
Please provide an answer as soon as possible.
    regards
    Debansu

    Hi,
i think it is the problem in the WSDL provider system, because it is throwing the Error with some string".NET",
do the below steps for investigating the issue
1)try pinging the URL provided in the WSDL from internet explorer.
2)if it is successfull, try to push one message from SOAP UI to by importing that WSDL, if you get any error then it is problem in the end system.
    Thank You,

  • Problem with getting back "synchronous" process result!!!

i have created the partner link to my synchronous process which is already on the server, along with the input and output variable for dealing with that particular process...
my input variable matches the xml schema of my synchronous process... when i expand the input variable node, i can see the elements which i'm trying to pass as the input to my synchronous server.
HOWEVER!!! there's a problem with my output variable, clicking expand on the node, it displays nothing (basically it's suppose to be in the format of the xml schema which i have specified).. hence i cannot work with the output of the asynchronous process...
    cheers,
    Shivek
how do i fix this problem..

can you please provide little bit more details? where do you click output variable? are you clicking from bpel console debugger?

  • Calling Synchronous process in a loop

    Hi
I am facing a problem while I am tring to call Synchronous process in a loop. I am having a parent process that fetch batches numbers (list of batches) and loop for each of them and call a child Synchronous process to do some activity.
the issue here is that the output variable on the process is taking the value that returns from the first batch call and keep repeating it for all the rest batches. I tried to initialize it to null every time I am entring the loop but strangly it has been overrided with the output variable of the first batch and then for the rest it just initialized to null and not had been overriden.
any body face this before or knows about it
    thanks and best regards,
    Baraa

This is Arun (working with Baraa in same Company)
    Let me eloborate the situvation
Facing problem while I call a Sync process from an Async process using while loop.
When I call sync child multiple times from a parent process using a While loop the response msg from child process is not correct.
    Meaning for instance let say
    Parent process : P
Child processes : C1, C2, C3     (assuming the loop goes for three iteration)
The expected response msg of the individual process where
    C1: 10000
    C2: 999
    C3 :           (null)
But when I go through the audit of the parent process I could see all responses as 10000, meaning the response of the child process is not getting reflected in Parent process correctly
Whereas when I inspect individual child process response; I could see the correct values.
Note: I am using End Point Reference technique to call the child process
    Any Idea.
    Requirement:
    Parameter: Source System Name
(this parameter decides which child to call, basically this will be the SERVICE on WSDL pointing to the child process)
A parent Async process has to call a Sync child process “n” number of times (“n” get derived at run time) WHILE loop
The parent will decide which child process to call at runtime (Dynamic call using EndPointReference)
    Some thing like below:
    <Set END POINT REFERENCE>
    <WHILE>
    Invoke Child (synchronize process)
    <END LOOP>

  • Proxy to jdbc synchronous considerations

There is a scenario, abap program call proxy, send sql1 (select) and sql2(update), and get the sql response.
    so  solution A
    proxy--XI--
    jdbc synchronous.
    There is another solution B:
    jdbc--XI--
    proxy asynchronous
One difference is, If failed between XI to proxy, It is NOT able to resend  for solution A.
But the strength of soultion A is, we can send more SQL with jdbc receiver adapter, But we can only send one select and one update with jdbc sender adapter.
    I prefer  solution A.
But is there anything more has to be considered?
Edited by: Shen Peng on Nov 30, 2010 2:58 PM

No, you do not have to add additional receiver determination
Usually in sync scenario, make sure you have one receiver determination, no arbitration.
If you have condition for receiver detemination, make sure the condition only return one true.

No, you do not have to add additional receiver determination

  • Java Proxy - XI - RFC Synchronous Scenario OUTBINDING Problem.

Java Proxy -> XI -> RFC Synchronous Scenario. Problem
    Hi,
I'm doing a Java Proxy -> XI -> RFC Syncronous Scenario.
A Java Server Socket is running as a Demon. When a client make a request to the Java Server Socket, this one call Java Proxy Client and set up the parameters.
The first time that execute the scenario it works perfectly but no the next one and so on.
The error when I check the monitor (TCODE: SXMB_MONI) is in PLSRV_OUTBOUND_BINDING.
    <Trace level="1" type="B" name="CL_XMS_PLSRV_OUTBINDING-ENTER_PLSRV">
      <Trace level="1" type="T">no outbound binding found.</Trace>
      <Trace level="1" type="T">No standard agreement found for , DES210_DEV, , JPX_DEV, urn:servipago:SERVIPAGO_SAP_02, mi_os_t1</Trace>
    </Trace>
    <Trace level="1" type="B" name="CL_XMS_MAIN-WRITE_MESSAGE_TO_PERSIST" />
And it has sense, because my scenario doesn't begin with the execution of FM (RFC).
A Hint, my services in the first try are:
         <b>Sender Service:</b>          JPX_DEV (Java Proxy Client)
         <b>Receiver Service:</b>     DES210_DEV (R/3 4.6C)
But the second try and so on the services that I saw in the monitor are:
         <b>Sender Service:</b>          DES210_DEV (R/3 4.6C)
         <b>Receiver Service:</b>     JPX_DEV (Java Proxy Client)
I can't understand why they swich each other.
    Any idea?

    Hi,
Outbound binding problem is because of Reciever Determination/Agreement is not activated or refreshed correctly.
Try to recreate or refresh and activate it. Then check it.
also do the cache refresh in SXI_CACHE.
Also in go to Integration Builder(XI home page)->Administration->Cache Overview and do all the cache refresh.
    Hope this helps

  • FBU Internal Job Queue Full for Synchronous Processing of Print Requests

    Hello All,
We are getting a lot of errors in system log (SM21) with the
Error : FBU Internal Job Queue Full for Synchronous Processing of Print Requests
    User :SAPSYS
    MNO:FBU
    =============================================================
Documentation for system log message FB U :
If a spool server is to process output requests in the order they were
created using multiple work processes, the processing of requests for a
particular device can only run on one work process. To do this an
internal queue (limited size) is used.
If too many requests are created for this device too quickly, the work
process may get overloaded. This is recognized when, as in this case,
    the internal queue is exhausted.
This can only be solved by reducing the print load or increasing
processor performance or, if there is a connection problem to the host
spooler, by improving the transfer of data to the host spooler.
Increasing the number of spool work processes will not help, as
requests for one device can only be processed by one work process. If
processing in order of creation is not required, sequential request
processing can be deactivated (second page of device configuration in
Transaction SPAD). This allows several work processes to process
requests from the same device thus alleviating the bottleneck.
Enlarging the internal queue will only help if the overload is
temporary. If the overload is constant, a larger queue will eventually
    also be overloaded.
    ===========================================================
Can you please tell me how to proceed.
    Best Regards,
    Pratyusha

    Solution is here:
412065 - Incorrect output sequence of output requests
    Reason and Prerequisites
The following messages appear in the developer trace (dev_trc) of the SPO processes or in the syslog:
    S  *** ERROR => overflow of internal job queue [rspowunx.c   788]
    Syslog Message FBU:
Internal job queue for synchronous request processing of output requests full
The "request processing sequence compliance" on a spool server with several SPO processes only works provided the server-internal job queue (see Note 118057) does not overflow. The size of this request queue is prepared using the rspo/global_shm/job_list profile parameter. The default value is 50 requests. However, if more output requests arrive for the spool server than can be processed (and the internal request queue is full as a result), more SPO processes are used to process the requests (in parallel), and the output sequence of the requests is no longer guaranteed.
    Solution
Increase the rspo/global_shm/job_list profile parameter to a much larger value. Unfortunately, the value actually required cannot be found by "trial and error" because this queue contains all the incoming output requests on a spool server, not just the "sequence compliant" requests. A practical lower limit for this value represents the maximum sequence-compliant output requests for the above generated output device. If, for example, 1000 documents that should be output in sequence are issued from an application program to an output device, the queue must be able to hold 1000 entries so that it does not overflow if the SPO process processes the requests at a maximum low-speed.

Internal Job Queue full for synchronous processing of print requests.

When we check the document in syslog it states it can be solved by reducing the print load or increasing performance or if there is a connection problem to host spooler , by improving the transfer of data to host spooler..
But not by increasing the no of spool workprocess..
I think any of the one stated cannot be implemented ..
Pls provide your valuable answers and if any of the above can be implemented from your end..

    Hi Vamshi,
Thanks for your response but would also like to confirm how we can say that spool queue is full and what may be the Max size of spool queue..
When we say Internal queue is full does it mean spool queue...
And also when I run the TEmse consistency check it is giving some errors..
When I check Spool requests there are some waiting process, but when I check Output requests there are only 1 or 2..
Please provide  me your valuable solution regd this..

  • Synchronous processing of dat file using Adobe Output Server

    Hello everyone
I have a doubt regarding Adobe Output Server. Currently my output server is running as a window service named "Adobe Central Output Server" in my machine referring to executable path E:\Jetform\Central\Control\jfservic.exe. It keeps on running irrespective of whether .dat file is present for further processing or not. In case .dat is there in data folder[location where my code writes into .dat file] it picks it up and does all the processing to give the result in form of Print/Fax. But when there is no .dat file present , still the service keeps on running consuming memory & cpu resource.
Curently my code drops a .dat file in data folder and dont bother about what happens to that .dat file afterwards. Its Adobe Output Server service that is running that keeps on monitoring data folder for any new dat file to process them further.
I want to stop that window service permanently and i wish to change some logic in my code so that as and when my program drops a .dat file in Data folder then i invoke Adobe Output Server or some of its component so that it picks up that dat file and does all the processing to generate Print/Fax and once its done with processing , the execution of Adobe central server ends. And it remains dead till its invoked by the program to process a new dat file.
So basically i was wondering whether there is possibiliy of invocation of Adobe Output Server is available or not for synchronous processing of dat file from the code.
Any suggestions , any ideas , any doubts on it are most welcome.

  • Mandatory Profiles, Group Policy Preferences, Synchronous processing

    Hello,
I'm using Windows 8.1 Update to setup a lab of computers that will use standard user accounts with Mandatory Profiles and Group Policy to lock them down. Everything is working great with the exception of Group Policy Preferences. I am using GPP printers
to add a shared printer to the computer lab and set the default. Due to asynchronous processing, the GPPs are applied only every other time. Since they are mandatory profiles, the settings are wiped out every time.
I have enabled the GPO setting "Always wait for network at startup and logon" but it doesn't seem to have any effect. The Mandatory Profile is assigned in the user's AD object.
From everything I can find on the issue, the problem seems to stem from the synchronous processing/asynchronous processing of group policy preferences, which explains the consistent alternating working. Fast logon optimization is always off when using a
roaming user profile, which is the case of these standard users, to my understanding. I also configured cached logons to '0', disabling cached logons. The computers (configured to automatically sign in with SysInternals' Autologon) received an error (no logon
servers available) trying to sign in before the network was ready, showing that they are ignoring the setting. Even with waiting for the network and signing in manually, the GPP printers are only successfully added every other time.
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj573586.aspx
    2008R2 functional level
I have created and recreated GPOs to test creating them on the DC and a Windows 8.1 Update computer, with no change in outcome.
I have also tried setting Startup policy processing wait time, run logon scripts synchronously, and GPP Printers processing behaviors. For the latest testing, I created a new OU with blocked inheritance and created a new GPO with just the key settings to
wait for network, install the printers, and use the mandatory profile. It still only worked every other time.
I am currently at a loss for a good way to add the printers to the mandatory profiles. I have hacked them into the HKCU of the mandatory profile but I feel that is a kludge solution and not very sustainable. I have tried a logon PowerShell script but had
    no luck.
TL;DR: Win8.1Update, Mandatory Profiles, standard user: Every other restart, GPP Printers are added perfectly and the desired outcome is reached. Every other, other restart the printers are not added.

    Hi,
I'll involve other engineer to this thread for more discussion about your problem. Please wait patient.
    Thank you for your understanding!

  • New way generating of Java Proxy to support parallel processing

    Hi All!!
To the Java Proxy Server supports the processing of several executions in parallel way, a new way or generation has been released. On the Integration Directory, when you select an Inbound Message Interface and go to Java Proxy Generation, 2 .zip archives are generated, one for the execution in sequential way (XXX.ZIP) and other for the execution in parallel way (XXX_PARARELL.ZIP).
I have tried to generate the Java Proxy only with XXX_PARARELL.ZIP and I think is not possible, because no EJB Candidate is generated.
Somebody knows how I can generate the Java Proxy?

  • No response message in Proxy to JDBC synchronous scenario

    Dear Team,
I am working on synchronous scenario Sender ABAP proxy <===> SAP PI 7.31 <===> Oracle Database. All the necessary proxy configuration has been successfully tested.
    Business Scenario:
ABAP proxy will send a single Vendor Id to Oracle DB as request and in return , it has to retrieve all the columns related to Vendor as response.Oracle Database stores all the Vendor information. There are 11 columns including the vendor Id in the view for the Vendor records.
    Design :
    For Request structure:
a-->Created MT for Sender ABAP Proxy with only 1 field for Vendor Id.
b-->Created MT for Receiver JDBC  with Action as SELECT , Table with "View Name" , Access with Constant Blank for all 11 column and Key as Vendor Id.
I have been following  the link and Bhavesh Kantilal document.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73/helpdata/en/44/7b7171fde93673e10000000a114a6b/content.htm?frameset=/en/44/7b7855fde93673e10000000a114a6b/f
    rameset.htm&current_toc=/en/ca/b977f1c7814201954f20bb87ad7aab/plain.htm&node_id=71
    For Response structure:
Created MT for Receiver JDBC with All the column names.
Created MT for target ABAP ECC with the same 11 column name of JDBC response.
    Note :
1.Database team shared a excel file as a sample payload which has all the column names of a vendor and I created my DT with the same naming conventions as they are maintaining in their database i.e. Column names are in CAPs, in the same order and even the special characters in the column name.
    2. The PING test connection for Cc works fine to database.
Please read out my queries as the I am not receiving any response from Oracle DB and gives error as timeout exception:
1.Since I am trying to retrieve all the column of the view , am I doing the correct procedure of putting all the column name in the JDBC request structure and making a Select statement. Can I add < * > to fetch all the column name and if so where can I add it.
    2. Whats the difference between SELECT and SQL_QUERY and on what circumstances I can add it?
    3. How can I test ICO in ID?
    4. Can I use any SOAP tool to test the messages? Is there any functionality in NWA to test the messages directly to JDBC .
Hope all your inputs can improve my design part.

So, I was reading a lot of threads, those said to copy the structure, but it doest not work.
I tried to check the "Do Not Use SOAP Envolve", but when I did that I got this error.
Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: SOAP: response message contains an error XIAdapter/HTTP/ADAPTER.HTTP_EXCEPTION - HTTP 415 Unsupported Media Type
When I unchecked I got this error.

I could never see the Fault Structure in PI and neither in Web Service Navigator.
    Please, I need some help.
    Thank you very much.
    Regards

If I test it in Soap UI I get the Fault, and in WsNavigator I can see the FaultCode and FaultString as a message on the top of the page.
I do not know what more to do.
