    Hi,
Spro >> Materials Management >> Purchasing >> Purchase Requisition >> Define Document Types
Here check for the assigned field selection for your doc type FO.
then go to Spro >> Materials Management >> Purchasing >> Purchase Requisition >> Define Screen Layout at Document Level
and select your field selection key & under Quantity and price change the price
and also check for ME51n selection key here

  • Issue on Number Range for MRP Purchase Requisition

    Hi Gurus,
Please help me on the issue explained below.
We are already using SAP ECC 6.0 and SRM 5.0 and now we are implementing Plant Maintenance Module. As a result of this implementation ,we have created number of PR document types and assigned to unique number ranges in ECC. One of these document types has been maintained for MRP group for a material type in order to identify the MRP purchase requisitions created on the shortage of the materials for these material types.
This functionality is working fine. MRP run for the materials is picking the appropriate PR document but number range of the document is not the same what was assigned to the linked document type. Some other number series is getting picked by system .
There is setting under SPRO Consumption Based PlanningNumber RangesPurchase Requisitions
Here, number range assignment is against plant. This is the same number range which is being taken by system on running MRP. But the desired number range is the one which has been linked to PR document type.
If I change the number range above then number range for MRP PR in present system will get affected..
Can you please advise me on above so that PR generated on MRP run should have appropriate number range?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Niti

    Hi,
As per my understanding, what you have mentioned above is exactly the way SAP is designed. Its SAP Standard behaviour.
But if you check your PR document type - no:range & the CBP no:range both will be same only since both refers to the same object.
Please check the PR document type that you have assigned in the CBP & its no:ranges.

  • Budgeting through Internal Order - Issues in Purchase Requisition

    Hi All,
I have posted the issue in ERP Matyerial Management Forum also, but since this has a lot to do with CO-Internal Order, so posting the same here.
Objective: We want to activate Commitment Update and budgeting for Capital purchases thrugh Internal Order. Budgeting is done for IO.
For the budgeting to get activated in Purchase requisition, Internal Order tagged to the Asset should be present/seen in the PR.
For PR with Account assignment Cat as 'A', I am not able to see the Internal order (mapped to the asset) in PR. The field 'Internal Order' in PR is coming BLANK despite the fact that the Asset used in the PR has been tagged to a valid Internal Order (of the Object Class - Investment, with Commitment update activated).
    What other setting is missing?
    Pls note the following:
    1) Account assignment cat 'A' has been set to DISPLAY CO/PP order ( T code - OME9)
Issue is that this field in the PR is NOT getting populated at all.
    2) Commitment management, Availability Control have also been activated in the system
. Internal Order status management has also been checked.
Any help in this respect will be highly appreciated
    Thanks
    Gayathri

    Hi Gayatri,
when you are saying"budgeting for Capital purchases thrugh Internal Order",how do you use account assignment category "A"?
if your requirement is budgeting for capital purchases through IO then you should use account assignment category in respective PR.Automatically it will control budget/commitment wrt those internal orders.
    Hope this helps you.

  • Issue with Purchase Requisition Release strategy

    Hi Gurus,
We are using ECC 6.0.For the approvals of purchase requisitions, we are using standard SAP functionality of release procedure. There were some 52 release strategies configured for the PR .The release strategy was based on value of the following fields that is below were characteristics grouped together for class for PR:
    1.     Creation Indicator of PR-R (Configured only for manually created PRs)
    2.     Purchasing Group
    3.     Value of the PR
As a result of PM module implementation, there is requirement of additional 30 release strategies.
We configured them but one more field of doc type was added in the characteristics fields.
Now the release strategy was based upon following fields:
    1.     Creation Indicator of PR-R (Configured only for manually created PRs)
    2.     Purchasing Group-(Configured against new purchasing groups )
    3.     Value of the PR
    4.     Document type of purchase requisitions.
Classification data was accordingly maintained that is for older release strategies,
Old PR doc. Type: NB was maintained where as other values were same. For new release strategies, new PR document types:NB1-NB6 for Doc type have been maintained .
The above set up worked fine for some time. But suddenly, none of the PR release strategies are working. I checked all the related configuration settings and all look fine. I also checked my release strategies in tcode: OMGQCK. But no error was there.
Could any body help in finding the reason why PR release strategy stopped working all of a sudden? What could be the probable reasons? What should be the approach to resolve it?
We are in testing phase. Many of the test scripts failed due to this issue.
    Quick response will be appreciated!!!
    Thanks & Regards,
    Niti

    Dear Niti,
Please check if your "overall release" indicator is consistent for document type and release group:
    a)SPRO:MM-PUR-PR-Define Document Type
    "overall release" indicator
    b)SPRO: MM-PUR-PR-Release Procedure-Set Up Procedure with Classification
    ->Release group
    "overall release" indicator

  • Issue in Purchase Requisition Release Strategy

    Hi guru,
    I've got an issue in the release strategy;
I have a PR with 3 lines. After Relase I've deleted the last line and system doesn't allow me to release it by ME55 transaction; I'm able to do it only by ME54N.
    Thank you for your help.
    M.

    Hi Marco,
I had a problem with ME55 and i wrote to SAP OSS.
    The first OSS answer was:
Can it be that your requisition has some deleted items?. If yes, then
    take into account the following:
Please consider the definition of ME55 "Collective release":
You release ALL requisition ITEMS or COMPLETE requisitions that are
awaiting processing by your release code.
And also the definition of "the field overall release of PReq":
Determines that the items in a purchase requisition are ALL released at
at the same time (rather than individually).
    That means:
If there are some items which can't be released (may be they are
deleted), the transaction ME55 can't be used - so you have to release
over the individual release (and that's why you get this
    message in ME55).
If you get such a message for a purchase req. in ME55 you can go over
the menu to release this item(so you don't have to call ME54 directly):
Select the item and choose Goto -> Individual release.
There is a difference between overall release and collective release.
Overall release means that a purchase requisition is released on
header level and not on item level. Collective release means that
several purchase requisitions can be released at the same time.
When one line of a requisition subject to overall release is deleted
you are asked to use the "single release" functionality in transaction
    ME54.
Once you delete a line item you MUST work with ME54 to release each
item. By deleting a line you effect the whole purchase requisition
hence collective cannot be used. This is standard SAP functionality.
In this case, you have to individually release each requisition item
    through transaction ME54.
I hope this is useful to you.
    Ciao
    Alberto

  • Issuing storage location for purchase requisition

    Hi All,
Anyone knew how to have a default issuing storage location on purchase requisition (source of supply tab) created through MRP?
    Thanks.
    Jump

    Hi,
For this you need to implement BADI MD_EXT_SUP in combination with special procurement type 40 or 45.
    Documentation of this badi:
Business Add-In for Determination of Issuing Storage Locatio
        Use
You can use this Business Add-In (BAdI) to control the determination of
the issuing storage location during stock transfer processing.
The BAdI is used in the following components:
        Material requirements planning (PP-MRP)
The BAdI runs both for manual creation of externally procured planned
orders, and in the MRP during creation of stock transfer procurement
        proposals.
        Purchasing (MM-PUR)
The BAdI runs as part of the source determination for purchase
        requisitions and during purchasing.
        Standard settings
o   The Business Add-In is not active in the standard.
o   The Business Add-In cannot be used multiple times.
        Example
        Sample coding is stored.

  • Purchase Requisition transfer  - Queue issue

    Hello!
Regarding the Purchase Requisition transfer to SRM, I'm running manually the function  BBP_EPRTRANS_INSERT and then the BBP_EXTREQ_TRANSFER program. It show us that the Preq was correctly sent to SRM... but then, when we go to the SMQ1, I can see the queue with error : SYSFAIL, I saw the logs and its showing :  Function module "BBP_BC_EXTREQ_INB" not found.
My question, I can see that this function is created in SRM but no in ECC6...should we have this function created on ECC6??? Is there any SAP note to fix it?
    Thanks,

  • Purchase Requisition Automatically Generating Issue

    Hi Guru:
I failed to generate the purchase requistion after MRP running via transaction md03,please see my setting of MRP1-4 as below:
MRP1:PD as MRP type, then the reorder point is 300,the measurement of unit is KG,I set FX as lot size, and fixed lot size is 100.
MRP2:the procurement type is F,and plan delivery time is 2 days,GR processing time is 1 day.
MRP3:period indicator is M,availability check is 01,total replenish lead time is 3 days.
And I had maintained the contract and source list to this material, but it cannot be generated purchase requisition automatically, what's wrong???Help!

You can run MRP again with proper parameters and you will get PurReqs directly instead of PldOrds:

    You can use parameters: 1, 3, 1, 3

  • Issue with Purchase requisition

    Hello SAP gurus,
From ME53N I am not able to check the info-record. If I click on info-record from environment then system is throwing message u201CNo usable items exist for this selectionu201D.
I checked source list and info-record is maintained, still I am not able to see the info-record.
Please help me on this, what could be the reason?
    Thanks
    Sha

    Hi Shayan,
Do change the value to 3 and test, The description of the field do suggests this could be a cause.
    Quota arrangement usage
Key that specifies which business functions use a quota arrangement.
    Use
The entry you make here controls how the total order quantity is calculated in the quota arrangement, and thus which source of supply is determined for the material at a particular point in time. You can enter a quota arrangement for the following field combinations: purchase orders
The quantity of the material already ordered is included in the quota arrangement. purchase requisitions
The total quantity requested in purchase requisitions for this material is included in the quota arrangement. scheduling agreement
The total quantity scheduled in delivery schedules for this material is included in the quota arrangement. planned orders
The total quantity planned in planned orders for this material is included in the quota arrangement. materials planning (MRP)
The quota arrangement mechanism is also used in materials planning; that is, the planned orders and purchase requisitions created by materials planning are included in the quota arrangement. production orders
The total quantity of all production orders for this material is included in the quota arrangement.
Eager to know the solution, do update us.

  • Issue in Sub Contracting Purchase Requisition Urgent!!!

    Hiii All,,
I have maintained a two BOM's for a finished material one for In House production and one for Sub contracting the components for the Two BOM's are different.
i have maintained Two Versions for the finished material also.
when i covnvert a planned Order to an Sub Contracting Purchase Requisition alternate BOM doesnt explode. i have also maintained a production version in the Purchase info record. Still the main BOM explodes.
i have to manually change the planned order and give the other production version ie not the Inhouse BOM.
After creating the PR then again i have to go planned order and change to the normal InHouse  BOM.
    Please Provide me the solution.
    Thanx & Regards,
    Kumar Rayudu

    Hi Kumar,
BOM explosion occurs during MRP run and when you convert into purchase requisition.
If you are using procurement type "X", then logically system does not know whether you will be producing inhouse or go for external procurement.
You may consider to go for MRP areas or manually re-explode the BOM as you are doing now

  • Issue with purchase requisition for third party order (Item category S)

    Hello Experts,
When I am trying to create purchase requisition with document type NB , item category S (third party) , I am nokt able to assign source of supply as contracts.
That means when I click on the assign source of supply button , I am seeing only info records although I have contracts cretated for that vendor/material combination.
How can I assign contract as a source of supply instead of infor records ?
    Please help.

You have to assign the contract in source list and make it Fix
use ME01 transaciton to assign the contract in the source list
and make sure that contract is release if you have release strategy activated

  • Error in new purchase requisitions, for already deliverd materials

    Dear all,
I have a problem with newly created purchase requisitions, although material was partially delivered and no delivery is expected anymore.
For example I have ordered 1767kg of oil and a total sum of 1766.2kg was deliverd. This means only a minor amount of material was not deliverd and only 80gramm are missing. The purchase value key allows a 5% over and under delivery.
Usually I would expect, that because of the purchasing value key of 5 % over and under deliverance allowence this situation should not occur anymore. Additionally at the time of goods receipt the key of final delivery was set and the purchase order is updated correctly.
But when I run the MRP again I will have another purchase requisition. The dependend requiement of the material above still existis as production is not finished yet or this is still a planned order.
What keys do I need to set in total for allowing a "partial delivery"?
    - Purchaseing value key in the material master
    - Delivery completed at the time of goods receipt
Maybe this question is to basic as I cannot find any questions / answers related to this issue here in the forum.
In some points, I found that I need to set up the vendor accordingly to set up partial deliveries. But I cannot find the right setting to allow the vendor to do so. I use MK02 for the change of the vendor settings.
Thank you very much for your support!
    With best greetings,
    Bjoern

    Hello Jürgen,
yes after thinking about this issue again, I think this might not be an appropriate solution. Now I am thinking about other possibilities.
    1) Automatically change the value in the production order at the time of saving MIGO - will not create any more missing material messages and no new purchase requisitions .
    2) Errror message, that for this positions no more postings are possible as the purchase order still remains "open"
    3) I need to find the customizing of the indicator "delivery completed". At the moment I just dont see, the influence of this indicator.
Sorry for my "stupid" questions, but I am quiete new to these MM topics. Up to now I was always doing only PP and QM but our collegue for MM has left the team and there are some open issues which now belong to me. Lucky me.
I have created a new posting at:

  • Help needed for enhancement in Purchase requisition

    Hi all,
Our client uses me59n to generate PO's automatically using purchase requisitions.
    Now, the requirement is ...
If net Purchase value  is 0 in purchase requisition, then
Free(UMSON) field in Purchase order shoud be "checked".
lemme explain the steps a bit detail.
    1. lots of purchase requisitions will be created in me51n.
    2. Client will use me59n to generate PO's automatically, using Purchase requisitions.
    3. purchase orders will be created.
    3. Now, i am in search of a badi/user exit , which will
         if netPurchasevalue(gswrt) = 0
            (free)umson = X.
         endif.
so , i need a enhancement, which links both fields(gswrt) from purReq & (umson) in PO.
please lemme know if anybody have experience on similar issues earlier.
    Regards.
    santosh.

    Hi,
Try implementing the BADI -ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST ...the method "PROCESS_ITEM" can be used to do the check that you want...
    Thanks,

  • Purchase requisition is not being displayed in FM area, CJIA

    Hi
Project cash management is activated in our system, when creating purchase requisition from project builder with account assignment 'Q' system does not generating any document in FM area (CJIA). Contradicting to this, system generating document in FM area when creating purchase requisition through ME51N transaction with account assignment Q and setting project WBS to account assignment object.
Later, comparing both purchase requisitions using ME5J, field committed item showing different values (default layout do not display this field, need to added from change layout settings). Can any one help us to find the settings which derives the committed item field in purchase requisition?
Screen shots are attached for detailed understanding.
    Thanks

    Sanjeev,
In EBAN table both records are present with special stock indicator Q.  But these documents are not available in second table COOI.
In customizing, KOAB for order category 20 (network) don't have indicator commitment management, whereas different order category having this indicator. Possibly, this would be causing the issue?? if so please help us in this direction. One more point that component with item category L (non-stock) are displayed in CJIA report.
Checked OPSV and found both the check boxes are ticked for order category 20.
    Thanks
