  • Problem when changing the target quantity for a contract

    Hello,
I have a problem when i try to change the target quantity for a contract through the BAPI 'BAPI_CONTRACT_CHANGE'.
I filled the tables 'item' and 'itemx' with new values. the BAPI 'BAPI_CONTRACT_CHANGE' returns no error, but after using the BAPI 'BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT' I get an info message from SAP and the modification does not pass.
In debugger I could locate the error. In fact, the appeal of FM 'ME_UPDATE_DOCUMENT is done with a table XEKKN with the new values of the quantity and a KZ code equal to ' I ' to insert, then it must have the value ' U 'for update .
Is someone can help me to solve this problem?
    Thank you in advance.

Have you tried selecting the page, and then changing the theme directly on that page?

  • How can I get order quantity for a contract

    Hi
I can see ordered quantity on a contract screen (VA42/VA43) but would you please tell me in which table or tables this is stored or how I can get ordered quantities against a contract
    Regards
    Javed

    Dear Javed Ihsan
You cann't see the order quantity for contract, you can only see the target quantity for the contract.
However you can even see the order quantity for contract but it will not have any value -(VBAP-KWMENG).
You can only seethe target quantity for a contract-(VBAP-ZMENG).
For the release order you have order quantity( VBAP-KWMENG)
    PLease check and revert

  • CRM Channel Managment - released quantity update in contract

In the channel management , the claims are created throught the transaction cms_rtcm.
Which should finally update the released quantity in the contract.?
Now in this process I see only CMS table CMSD_CNT_PRD_XT getting updated. And I donot find any means by which the CRM table CRMD_CUMULATED_I is updated,
from which the released quantity is obtained.
Can anybody tell me how is the released quantity updated in this scenario?
    Thanks in advance

Try modifying the qty thru FM CRM_SCHEDLIN_PUT_OB.
    This should solve the issue.

  • Consume local contracts with extended claissc scenario

    Hello,
We are implementing SRM 7 stack 10 with ECS. We are connected to one R3 4.7 backend.
Since local PO will be replicated to the backend, is that possible to consume local contracts with that scenario?
Could there be a problem with the GR if there is no contract in R3?
At the moment we can not manage to consume SRM contracts.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi ,
There can be various reasons why a local contract is not populated as a source of supply for requirements in extended classic. Ideally, local contract are always porposed as a source of supply unless
    1. company codes are not identical.
    2. Purchase organization of requirement does not match with any of the released authorized purchase organization.
    3. product ID or product category are identical.
    4. Delivery Plant mentioned in the requirement should not excluded in the contract  and so on.
Check all the points and see if the contract is eligible enough to get popped as a source of supply.
    Thanks and regards,

  • The quantity consumed of oil or Gasoline

    Hello experts,
Is there a transaction in SAP system allow me to know the quantity consumed of oil or Gasoline by each car or haulier or lorry between tow dates?
    Best regards.
Edited by: LAMAIER AMOR on Apr 20, 2011 3:23 PM

With this reply you already confirmed that you do not do anything in your process to know the the cars and haulier  in a subsequent analysis.
So you first have to improve your process and then you can do reports.
Ialready indicated that you could have the car and haulier as a charcteristic in your batch classification.

  • Target quantity exceeded from contract

    Hi,
I want to configure that in creation of an purchase order with reference to quantity contract, the system will not display the warning message of "Target quantity 100 EA of contract item exceeded by X EA"
When deletng the warning message from the "system messages" list, we recieve an error message in the purchase order.
    Is this possible?
    Hila David

Do not delete any standard messages.
What you could do is to control the message through SPRO: SRM server -> cross application basic settings -> message control -> influence message control ->
    select PO type: BUS2201
    double click on "message control"
    Create an entry for message class = BBP_PD / No = 562 / type = "-" (switch off)

  • Quantity Copy From Contract to PO

We have a Quantity Contract and when we are creating a PO with ref to contract, it is not copying the Quantity!!!. We need the Quantity to be copied to PO from Contract.
    Any Idea please!.
    Thanks in advance,

    Hi,
I would assume you are referring to service contract whereupon you are using the quantity to indicate the total value to be called off and the gross price of ''1'' (BTW, this is also what have been seen in my client for engineering service contracts).  The fact is that SAP does not provide such functionality and therefore, what I would suggest you to do is to use framework order for your services and treat it as legal contract document (this has been used in many clients) against which SE can be maintained.  It is of standard functionality of SAP that when SE is maintained, SAP will automatically propose the remaining value/quantity.  Another question to you - did you create service purchase requisition (probably directly from work order)?
    Cheers,

  • Quantity / Value Service Contract

    Hi
We have a requirement where in we have to limit the service contract to provides only 2 free telephone support and 1 free software upgrade.
I think to achieve this we should use qty/val service contract.
I have created a service contract with contract line item, but not sure how to maintain the qty for each product. Created 2 service products one for telephone support and one for software upgrade.
Could you please let me know how to handle this scenario?
    Thanks & Regards

    Hi,
you have one more item category CMSD where you can gice the same settings as given above.
    for item category-
Customer Relationship Management>Basic Settings>Define Item Categories
in item categories select CMSD-An item category specifies the properties and attributes of a business transaction item, and therefore controls how the item is processed.
    1. select CMSD item category
    2. Assignment of Business Transaction Categories
    3. select transaction category
    4. then select Customizing Item
    5. In that contract data completion field is there.
by default it will show target./value can be exceeded.
so there u have to select A target/value can not be exceeded.
    Hope it will useful.
    thanks

  • Sourcing Consecutive Contracts based on Quantity

Hello,  we purchase product in large blocks of quantity.  For example, 100 EA on agreement A, which will be received on multiple (small) receipts before moving to agreement B.
Until now, we've handled this with simple purchase orders, using multiple delivery schedule lines.  However this approach does not work well with MRP.  The best MRP can do is suggest reschedule the entire quantity in / out.
We'd prefer to use MK contracts instead.  The problem with this approach is that the source list is based on date only - not quantity.  It will not automatically ensure that all of contract A is used before contract B.  If demand changes, we could find ourselves sourcing from B while A still has quantity left to receive.
Is there a standard SAP solution to automatically consume ALL of a target quantity on one contract before moving to the next?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
The following are the points to get noted.
1.SAP allows number of contracts to get created for the same vendor / material but with a validity date.
2.while relesing the Contract release orders system will provide a warning message if the qty exceeds.
3.Schedule lines in the aggrement also ( SA) can be subjected to MRP.
4.In the source list also you can block a vendor/fix a vendor and make the source list source relevant for MRP.
but before using the master data , we should have the policy that we must relese the CROs if ane aggrement is finished.
what i under stood from your query is even though the qty still not received, you may need to use the second OA.If so what about the price?
    your query of 3rd para:
We'd prefer to use MK contracts instead. The problem with this approach is that the source list is based on date only - not quantity. It will not automatically ensure that all of contract A is used before contract B. If demand changes, we could find ourselves sourcing from B while A still has quantity left to receive.
Do you mean to ask is there any std functionality ,like system to suggest the source from only one agreement? Here the question to be noted is does the second agreement is with diff vendor or same vendor .If it is for a diff vendor have you tried the source list changing of the vendor fixed option time to time?

  • Open Order Quantity in Contracts

    Dear Gurus
I am trying to create a report which will show the Open Order quantity of SD Contracts.
This being the figure of the target quantity less the called off quantity.
Please advise on the best method of getting this information, I can see the cumulative order total in the contracts but this is held in a structure (RV45a- KWMENG) and I am struggling to get this information into a report
    Many thanks
    Tony

    Hi Tony,
To the best of my knowledge you will not be able to read value into your report from RV45A- KWMENG. To get this value you need to first fetch the list of subsequent SD documents from VBFA table. Later you need check status of those documents both at header and item/s level using VBUK and VBUP. If you find the open items for documents you need to sum up all those quantities to arrive at a open quantity for the contract using tables VBAK and VBAP
Please keep in mind performance issues which may arrive in this process as it deals with linking of 5 tables. You may need additional database index for the table VBAK (Thanks to check on this point).
Below information may be useful to activate the index:
To activate the index, proceed as follows:
    1. Call transaction SE11 and enter the database table VBAK. Choose "Display" and then select "Goto -> Indexes" (Ctrl+F5) in the menu.
    2. Double-click the entry I01.
    3. Change the option to "Index on all database systems".
    4. Activate the index (Ctrl+F3).
    5. You must collect the database statistics for the index so that the optimizer can recognize the index (transaction DB20).
    Hope this helps you.

  • Sales order create/change line item with reference to contract - Open quantity not getting deducted for copied line item from the contract

    Hi friends,
Please provide some valuable inputs for the following scenario:
When a sales order line item is created(VA01) or changed(VA02) with reference to a Contract the open quantity is deducted in the contract which is a standard functionality. If the referenced line item is copied (custom enhancement to copy line item), then for the copied line item the open quantity is not getting deducted instead ATP quantity i.e. Available-to-promise is deducted.
Any inputs on how we can fix this functionality i.e. deduct the open quantity from the contract for the copied line item?
P.S. : Custom enhancement to copy line item is working fine, but open quantity is not getting deducted if the copied line item was referenced to a contract.
    Thanks,
    Sandeep

    Sandeep,
Yes, that was my original interpretation.  I was having a hard time believing that someone would ask such a question.
I guess, then, that you already know that you will have to add this logic to your enhancement. You should create your specifications and hand them off to a developer; ideally the one who created this enhanced solution in the first place.
I do not provide advice in these forums about details of enhanced solutions.  Perhaps one of the other members will be more willing to do your work for you.

  • Sales order creation with ref. to contract. Quantity related issue

    Hii All,
I am creating sales order with ref. to contract. But i can enter more quantity than that mentioned in the contract. Here i need the system should give a warning while saving the order. I refered the thread Sales Order Against Contract
In this thread the procedure to convert the warning to error is given. but i need how to give this warning message.
In VTAA, I have maintained copy requirement as 303 at item level. & DataT as 151, 102 & 002.
    Please suggest.

    Dear Vijay,
in incompletion procedure we can arrange to check whether any field is empty, here data comparison is not possible.
As far as I know you can not achieve this through standard config.
To achieve your requirement, you will need to take help of an ABAPer, it can be achieved using Userexit.
    ABAPer can use include MV45AFZZ
    and Userexit ""USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT".
the code written in this userexit will check and compare the quantities before saving the dcument.
Logic if quantity enter is greater than the quantity mentioned in Contract show warning Message.
I hope this solves your Problem.
    Regards,
    Paresh
