Quantity Mismatched in Sales Order and it's corresponding Order's IDOC

Hi SAP experts,
In an ORDERS IDOC, conversion is done from EACH'S to CASES. ( INBOUND PROCESS, Message type - ORDERS, Basic type - ORDERS04 )
For e.g.: In a Sales Order, If 432 EACH'S are placed, it will be converted into 36 CASES in the IDOC (Here 1 Case = 12 Each's)
But in Sales Order it shows as 36 EACH'S (which is wrong) and In the IDOC it shows as 36 CASES (which is correct)
The Conversion has been done correctly from Each's to Cases. But don't know how this problem occurred for this document alone.
It should be 432 Each's in the Sales Order, Instead of 36 Each's...!!!
This problem is for only one Document number dated on ' 28th March 2011 '. It's working correctly again till date without any problem.
any idea to solve this single error guys?

Hi Mano,
How to control the modifications? I suggest you to create a report to control this modifications. For instance use the report RVSCD100 as a template and create your own z* with a range of documents and filtering the fields that you want to control. Other possibility is use the standard report RSSCD100. One suggestion, is to have isolated this kind of SO in an specific range of numbers.
Nevertheless, if the problem is always with the same customer and material, check them and compare with other pair that works right.
For the value for STAMNO. If you are working in WE19 and create a new IDOC using other as a template, the system replies with a warning message. If you create the IDOC the system store in EDIDS the message (type, number, etc..). You can see it in tcode SE91 (ie: message i157(ea) with...).
I hope this helps you

  • Open PIR quantity, unconverted Pld orders and open Prod/ STO orders

    Dear all,
How to deal with open PIR quantity, unconverted planned orders and open production/ STO orders in the next MRP run? Do we need to delete/ reduce them manually?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Raghu

    Hi Shiva,
Thanks for your immediate response. I have still some confusion.
Last month, I have material A with Production order quantity of 30000.
'A' has a component 'B' which is an in-house produced material. Three planned orders each of 10000 were generated for B. Of these two planned orders were converted to production orders. One is still in planned order form.
This month I am not going to use this planned order of B. I get new requirement for A. So during MRP run I get the planned orders for B also.
For the last month requirement, as I have not converted one planned order of B to prod order, there will an open quantity of A prod order in this plant and open STO quantity in another plant. Again the PIR will also be not reduced to the same extent. If I reduce the PIR manually or through some reorganization, what about the open quantity of prod order and STO
I think I can TECO the prod order of A. Is there any such thing for STO also?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Raghu

  • Display artists in alphabetical order and albums in chronological order.

I have my iTunes library set to display artists in alphabetical order and albums in chronological order.  This is the sorting option preferred by every person I've ever spoken to about it.  The touble is nobody I've ever spoken to can tell me how to get my device (4S64, 5.1.1) to follow suit.  iTunes on my phone insists on listing albums alphabetically.  Since I (we) already know all the letters of the alphabet and in which order they occur this kind of sorting is of no benefit.  Somebody please put me (us) out of our misery and reveal whichever secret soft switch must be flipped to make this happen.  Also, if possible, I would rather do the alphabetical "Artist" sorting by last name rather than first but I have not seen an option for that either.
    Thank you in advance.

There is no secret soft switch for Album by Artist by Year on iOS.
If you want your artists sorted by last name first then edit the corresponding sort values.

  • GR for Purchase order and GI for prod. order simultaneously

    Hi Guys,
My client current has an external system, which does both GR for puchase order and GI for Prod. order at the same time. He is now migrating into SAP and he wants the same functionality. Do you have any idea how to do this.
For eg., Pick list(CO27) will pick and issue the components to production order, if the component is in inventory. if it is not there, it will give error.
Can we add, if material is not there, it should do GR and GI. is it possible with any customer exit in CO27?
    Thanks
    Srini

    Hi,
In KANBAN, we have the possibility to do the GR (Goods Invard) if th container is Full and GI (to the production Order) if the Container is Empty.
    It's just a thaught..

  • Difference between snp planned order and pp/ds planned order

    Hi to all,
can any one please explain the difference between snp planned order and pp/ds planned order. I am relatively new to this area

The primary differences are as below.
    1. The master data for SNP Planned Order is SNP PPM/PDS where the minimum duration for an operation is a day. So it is used for rough cut capacity planning.
The master data for PPDS Planned Order is a PPDS PPM/PDS where operations are down to minute and second level. Moreover sequence dependent operation planning is possible in PPDS Planned Orders. It is for detailed capacity planning.
    2. SNP Planned Orders are created in SNP while PPDS Planned Orders are created in PPDS or when transferred from ERP to APO.
    3. SNP Planned Order need to be converted to a PPDS Planned Order before it can be used in the Execution System (ERP) for further processing - like conversion to Production Order. Moreover the category types of the orders are different in APO (EE for SNP and AI for PPDS).
    Hope this helps.

  • Calculation of open orders and shipped not billed orders amount

    Hi All,
I have  a  requirement to arrive at the values of ‘Open Order’ and ‘Shipped not billed  ’ .
This is an interface program and the output will be sent to a target server.
Input :  Company code,  Customer Code , Document date.
    Output Fields are:
    Customer Code
Sum of all open orders value
Sum of all shipped not billed orders  value
    To give an example
A Customer has 50  orders and  the number of line items are  200 .
Overall  order amount for 200 line items is 10,000.
70 line items have been delivered (amounting to 5,000) and
30 line items among the 70 delivered have been invoiced. (amounting to 3,000).
I need to know the best way to get to:
    (1) Total "Open order" amount for the customer which is 5,000 in this example.
    (2) Total "Shipped not billed" amount for the customer which is 2,000 in this example.
    (3) Total "Invoiced" amount for the customer which is 3,000 in this example.
We are looking for the tables to access and the sequence of access
Since the interface is to be executed more than once in a day ,
the execution time should be optimum
    Please suggest
    Thanks
    Venu

    check table VBUK
GBSTK ne 'C'      "over all processing status
and FKSTK ne 'C'  "open billing orders
    at header level
    and
    for item level check
    Vbup tbale
make a join on Vbrk and VBuk in the where condition in addition to the selection criteria add the above two conditions and check the same.
once you have all the open orders enable the items and do the subtotalling and grand total on the item loop.

    Hello Zita,
Try to restart your portal after creating <b>ServiceUser</b> in both UME and KM.
One more major difference between ServiceUser and normal portal user is that a ServiceUser does not have a UserAccount (IUserAccount)
    Object serviceContext = null;
            try {
                serviceContext = AccessController.doPrivileged(new PrivilegedExceptionAction() {
                    public Object run() throws WcmException {
                        return ResourceFactory.getInstance().getServiceContext(CONTRACT_SERVICE_USER);
            } catch (PrivilegedActionException e) {
                logger.severe(e, "ResourceContext for the technical " + serviceUser +
                     " user could not be retrieved.");
    IResourceContext resCtx = (IResourceContext) serviceContext;
So I modify all KM resources with this resCtx.
    Hope this helps ...

  • DVD Map Buttons Order and DVD Player Titles Order Don't Match

I created a DVD with 9 movies, movie1.mov… movie9.mov, etc. consecutively, using the “Chapters” type screen of a template as the menu. The DVD Map shows the movie buttons arranged in numeric order. On the menu, they are left to right, top to bottom in 3 rows x 3 columns:
    1 2 3
    4 5 6
    7 8 9
I then saved the disc image. One may expect in DVD Player > Go > Title, the numbers correspond to the movie button numbers.
THEY DO NOT!! Instead, here is the sequence:
    Title 1 = Movie 1
    Title 2 = Movie 5
    Title 3 = Movie 2
    Title 4 = Movie 9
    Title 5 = Movie 7
    Title 6 = Movie 6
    Title 7 = Movie 3
    Title 8 = Movie 4
    Title 9 = Movie 8
    or, conversely,
    Movie 1 = Title 1
    Movie 2 = Title 3
    Movie 3 = Title 7
    Movie 4 = Title 8
    Movie 5 = Title 2
    Movie 6 = Title 6
    Movie 7 = Title 5
    Movie 8 = Title 9
    Movie 9 = Title 4
Since DVD Map does not allow you to rearrange the movie buttons in the flow map, I rearranged the movie buttons in the menu in this layout and saved as another disc image:
    1 5 2
    9 7 6
    3 4 8
But now, it screws up again:
    Title 1 = Movie 9
    Title 2 = Movie 1
    Title 3 = Movie 7
    Title 4 = Movie 6
    Title 5 = Movie 3
    Title 6 = Movie 5
    Title 7 = Movie 2
    Title 8 = Movie 4
    Title 9 = Movie 8
    Can someone explain?

    Hi Jay
    Welcome to apple discussions.
The order added normally determines the order of the buttons.
However, if one happens to move the buttons around in such a way that the space of multiple buttons should overlap (even slightly), odd things can happen to this normally sequential order. The reason for this is that iDvd takes it upon itself to correct these overlapping text object 'flaws' prior to going forward. One must keep in mind that each button's space is actually a little bit larger than the icon and it's actual text area. If this space (which can be nearly invisible to the causal user) should overlap with another, then odd things start to happen with button order (as you have witnessed above). I'm not sure if there is a guaranteed approach to iDvd's random button order issue, short of upgrading to a beefier app like DVDSP.
Hope this helps but if not just come on back.

Just to add to Pauls reply, along with output determination settings, When you would create the partner profile outbound parameters, use the Message type ORDRSP for order acknowledgement.

  • Open orders and Shipped not billed orders

    Hi All,
What is the fastest way to calculate the open orders amount and shipped not billed amount for a given customer.
    Thanks
    Venugopal Reddy

Can u try this option and see if this is increasin your performance.
    For the billing documents ...
Goto table VBUK and check the fields LFSTK = 'C' " Delivery completed and
FKSTK NE 'C' . "billing open
At header level check that GBSTK ne C "over all processing status is open .
This will yield you the list of open Invoices ..
You need to bring in the select query with a join on VBRK and VBUK ..
once u get the list of open invoices  then calculate the open qty from VBRP and VBUP where VBUP-GBSTA ne 'C'.
here pick the qty from vbrp and sum it up to check the open qty.
    just like this ..
    SELECT vbeln
             fkart
             kunag
             gbstk
             INTO TABLE it_billing_h
FROM vbrkuk                       "VBRKUK is a DB view " VBAK+VBUK
             WHERE vkorg IN so_vkorg
             AND vtweg IN so_vtweg
              AND spart IN so_spart
             AND kunag IN so_kunnr
             AND gbstk NE 'C'.
        IF NOT it_billing_h[] IS INITIAL.
          SELECT c~vbeln
                 c~posnr
                 c~matnr
                 c~fkimg      "---->open qty
                 d~fksta
                 d~fksaa
                 d~uvfak
                 d~fkivp
                 d~fssta
                 d~gbsta
                 INTO TABLE it_billing_items
FROM vbrp AS c JOIN vbup AS d
                 ON dvbeln EQ cvbeln
                 AND dposnr EQ cposnr
                 FOR ALL ENTRIES IN it_billing_h
                 WHERE d~vbeln EQ it_billing_h-vbeln
                 AND d~gbsta NE 'C'.
use control break and sum the qty ..
    hope this helps ,
    Regards,
    Vijay

  • Create additional field in sales order item and copy to purchase order item

    Dear SAP Gurus,
I am hoping that someone could help me by providing me with how to implement the following 2 requirements in the SD order and in the purchase order.
    1. I am wanting to add a custom field to the SD sales order item copying a value from the vendor customer master.
    2. I then want to add a custom field to the purchase order item and copy the value from my custom field in 1. to this new custom field..
Can you please advise how I would go about implementing the above requirements?  I am assuming that there are exits to allow me to implement these 2 requirements.
    Many thanks
    Henry

    Hi,
For the first requirement you can use the USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP in report MV45AFZZ.
For the second, as I think that you will create a RFQ you can try to use the enhancement MEREQ001.

  • MRP Generated production orders greys out Sales Order and Customer fields

    Hi there,
The MRP generated production orders greys out the Sales Order and Customer fields for some reasons. These fields are really important as they link the production order to the sales order and the customer's purchase order. Could the SAP team please fix this or advise alternative way of getting the sales order and customer info on production order? Thanks.

    Hello
MRP only poulated this fields in case the material master has been set up with a strategy group hich is make to order (normally 20). Otherwise MRP summarizes all the requirements from different Customer orders and creates a production order

  • Open planned orders and production orders

    Hi friends,
I have one issue with my client.
Client has 1 lac materials in sap .Now he wants extract all materials open planned orders and open production orders with quantity and dates.
Please tell me the process how i can extract the data from sap for above requirement.
    Thanks,
    Manoj

    Hi Manoj,
For open planned order and production order select the respective box.
But one suggestion. Try to convince client that this report will take a lot of time as you have mentioned 1 lac materials are there.
You can exclude system status and get it with below screen as mentioned already.
But my suggestion is to run the report at night when the system load is very less. Please create a background job one for planned order and another for production order. Then run it in midnight as per the customer requirement in background. You can automate the process by sending automatic mail to customer. Please refer the below link to trigger mail.
Mail Trigger with TEXT file via JOB run
