Receipt/Requirements date in MD04 / CO06 (ATP)

Hi Gurus,
we have the following problem.
We have a material which has a Goods Receipt Processing Time in Days of 1 day -> maintained on material master.
On MD04 the material shows an availibility date for example 20.04.2011 - Goods receipt is the 19.04.2011 - so far everything is right.
The material is ordered via a delivery schedule and in the schedule there is also a Goods Receipt Processing Time on position level. ATP in our case takes for calculation of the availibility date the GR Processing Time of the delivery schedule. The two GR Processing Times were maintained differently. In the delivery schedule there were maintained 5 days.
You can imagine that our planning department was confused when they saw that the material is available on MD04 on 20.04.2011 but ATP said that it is availaible on 27.04.2011.
So my question is, is it possible to tell ATP to take the material master GR processing time and not the one of the delivery schedule.
Many thanks in advance for your answers.

  • Requirement date in Md04 to be adjusted

    hello,friends.
                i have a component A* with lot size mb(monthly plan),plan on 01.12.2007 .
i used GR Processing time 5 days.To bring component in previous month i,e, on 26.11.207.
Now ,my problem is that due to mb lot size & GR time, the requirement/receipt date of the component is  01.12.2007 (minus GR time ).the basic finish date is 26.11.2007 .we have monthly planning & if we see in the COOIS report month wise it showing o.k.,(26.11.2007),but when we see in the MD04 the date in the requirement date is 01.12.2007 appearing that should be required 26.11.2007.How this date can be adjusted.

    Hi,
I'm kind of looking for a similiar answer, I need MD04 (and subsequent customised reports) to display the 'Rescheduling at GR date' - to produce a simple extract for Procurement showing the 1-1 data rather than 1 (minus GR time) - 1.
The strange part is, this at GR date is available in Exception Message text ..... I wonder why it is not available as a seperate column....?
    Any help appreciated.

  • MD04 requirements date

    hi all,
i'm new to SAP and would like some intrepretation of MD04's requirement date for MRP element PrdOrd. How is this requirement date derive from (formula)? Basic finish date didn't help either. I needed this data to be downloaded into spreadsheet and appreciate if someone can let me know what tcode to use...
    thanks!

    Hi,
MD04 shows the stock/requirement situation (current status), because this is a
    dynamic screen.
    Reg. prod dates,
for Eg. if we create a finished product (Fert) from a raw material (Roh).
Suppose we give the requirement date as 10/06/07.
The foll. are the diff methods of scheduling.
    1. Backward scheduling : System schedules backward from 10/06.
    2.Forward scheduling: System schedules forward.
3.Current date: System takes today's date as a prod start date & schedules.
,when you run MRP for 100 nos of Fert.
a planned order is created & a pur req is created for Roh.
For Fert prodn, we have given the machine time in the routings. Assume that it take 16 hours to produce 100 pcs. (8hr/day working).
In back ward scheduling, system will schedule such that the fert prodn should start 2 days ahead of 10/06 & hence schedules the prod start as 08/06.
If the PR/PO processing ,ie delv time is one day, then PR will schedules on 07/06.
This PR is converted in PO.(hence you know the del time here. This is the result of backward scheduling.
If you use current date scheduling.
Suppose today's date is 05/06, system will schedule PR for today & Pl.order on 06/06 & after 2 days prodn will be completed.
    Hope this helps.
    Pl. Reward if useful.

  • Scheduling problem with delivery date in purch.req and requirement date

    Dear all,
I have the problem, that the calculated delivery date in the purchase requisition does not correspond with the requiement date of the production or planned order.
I would like to use planned delivery times in the material master.
    Example:
    Planned delivery time: 20 days
    Todays date 01.10
    Case 1)
Requiement date of planned order 10.10
    Case 2)
Requiement date of planned order 20.09
This situation can happen in our envirnoment, as the engineering process still continues after start of production. In this case I would like to have the following result:
    Case 1)
Delivery date is 10.10 minus the goods receipt time
    Case 2)
Delivery date is day of MRP or one or two days more
I made the setting that dates in the past are not allowed. This solves my first smal problem. I tried to set the scheduling margin key but these settings do not help me, as they are relevant for all materials. I need of course individual planned delivery dates per material.
So, I want to change the standart MRP procedure that in the case of the "wished requirement date" not the calculated date is beeing taken, but the "wished date". Usually you receive an exeption for this case and you would need t solve this manually. But this we dont want to do.
Can s.o. please help me? Thank you all very much, I really dont know what to do in this case.
    With best regards,
    Bjoern

The question cannot be answerd by SAP standart as I see. We will go through a workaround.

  • Is it possible to change the requirement date of a component?

    Hello Gurus,
When a non stock material is defined as a component of service order a requirement date is automatically determinded (RESBD-BDTER) on the current date. Does someone knows if one can be able to influence this field?
It means that I would like to be able to fill it by myself.
    Kind regards
    Chris

    Hi Paul,
    As you said "
The requirement date is calculated as follows:
    1. The start date (earliest scheduled start) of the operation minus
    2. The goods receipt processing time of the component and minus or plus
    3. The lead time offset for the component in the order
The above values (point 2 and 3) can be adjusted to manipulate the
    delivery date."
I have checked for stock & non stock item, but this calculation is not working for work orders. only i can change the date with offset. i checked material master record and change the GR processing time and planned delivery time but its not working. Do you have any idea why its not working?
    Thanks.

  • Requirements to be considered as per requirement date

In MD04, I can see few reservations and some sales orders and some other demands for a material.
I want to issue material as per requirement date. I mean the older demand should be fulfilled first.
But if I run picking list for reservations, it will post all reservations. If I run sales order report, system will post material to all sales order.
I want that the requirements should be considered serially as per requirement date. If reservation date is earlier than sales order, then first reservation then sales order then may be again some reservation.
How can I do this since the reports are different ?

This has been implemented a lot of times in several projects.
The solution is to store the chosen language into the user's UME data as language attribute.
    (see JavaDocs of UME)
Then you must logoff / logon the user to make the new setting active.
Do a session.invalidate() and then reload the portal page.

    Hi,
I am trying to populate MDTBX structure using DTNUM field of MDKP as follows.
"IMPORT mdtbx FROM DATABASE mdtc(ar) ID wa_mdkp-dtnum".
Now the DATOO field of MDTBX will be same as dates in MD04 for a material , plant and a Vendor.
But for some vendors DATOO of MDTBX has more dates when compared to dates in MD04 for the same Material and Plant.
Why it happens so? I need the reply urgently. Kindly help me in this regard.

    Hi,
To add the filed in the extract strucuure...
Go to rsa6 find your data source... go to change mode >
then double click on the extract structure... it will tale youe to the structure screen..
Click on the Append strucutre button and add your required filed there... activate the append structure... go back and activate the structure also.
now go back to rsa6 and again go into your data source now you can see the appended field, but it will be hidded. Remove that hiddedn check box... Save.
Then write the code to pupulate data into that field.

  • Requirements date for VSF "backdating" itself in two months

Please help me understand this peculiar system behavior.
MD04 routinely displays the plant/materialu2019s planned independent requirement as a u201CVSFu201D having a requirements date of the first work-day of the period.  What I cannot explain is why the October 2012 VSF has a requirements date of September 21, 2012. Why would the date not be October 1, 2012? The factory calendar assigned to the plant has October 1, 2012 as a work-day.
Same situation for December 2012. The VSF for December has a requirements date of November 21, 2012.
For the rest of 2012, and for the first three months of 2013, the VSF elements are dated on the first work-day of the month. What would cause the requirements to fall a week and a half early for October and December 2012?
I should add that this peculiarity is not limited to one material. It happens over many materials and across all plants. The common thread among the materials is that we plan them into info structure S608 and then disaggregate among the active warehouses / shipping points.
By the way, I am not very fluent in MRP, so please do not assume that I have ruled out something obvious.
    Regards,
    zKen

Well, we figured it out.  The problem was the fiscal year variant.
A few years ago, we were a nine-to-five, Monday-thru Friday kind of company.  As such, the accounting periods were carefully managed so that a period never ended over a weekend or on a holiday.  Nowadays, we are a 24-7 operation, and accounting periods correspond to calendar months.
But when we changed over the fiscal year variant, it was only set up thru 2011.  2012 still had the old period strategy.
On the MRP3 tab of the material master record, material/plants are assigned the period indicator u201CPu201D, Period according to fiscal year variant.  We forecast by periods in S608.
MRP was just doing its thing and determining requirements according to our accounting periods and setting the requirements date accordingly.
Solution:  correct the fiscal year variant out for a few more years.  Transport, reload the forecast data, transfer to demand management, and run MRP.
All is well in the stock/requirements list.

  • PR date in MD04 to be displayed with past date. Even if req. is in past?

    Hi All,
I have scenario where the raw material "X" has Order reservations in past let us assume month as May'11.  The Procurement time is 10 days and GR time is 2 days and the Lot Size is EX. When we run the MRP in month of June the PR which will be created for Order reaservations will have the "Purchase Requisition" scheduled Forward with release date maintained as the current date and the delivery date as 10 Working days ahead of release date and Requirment date will add 2 more days. And This Requirment date will be displayed in MD04 in Date column. let us assume that we have excuted MRP on 17-June, then for all Past requirments the release date willl be 17-june and Delivery date will be 01-July and Requirment date will be 05-July based on setting said above (Rem: - Saturday and Sunday is holiday).
Client does not want to see the requirment date planned this way. He wants the date in MD04 for PR to be maintained in Past only.
is there any way to make this happen?
Edited by: ANIMESH KUMAR on Jun 17, 2011 7:45 AM

    Hi Vivek,
But won't this Setting effect the Production order planning. I mean to say that Only PR should be planned this way, But Planned order must not be affected at all.

  • Sending New Requirement date to APO before saving the sales order in ECC

    Hi Experts,
i have a requirement where while creation of sales order, when user enters the requirement date,i have to calculate the new requirement date ( adding transit time and other time ) and send it to APO , to bring the ATP result based on this new calculated date.
This new calculated date is getting saved in Z field in VBAP table and also this new requirement date which has to be pass to APO is getting calculated while saving the doucment i.e. at user exit - USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE.
Now, i am not sure, how i should pass this new date to APO , which FM , Badi or BAPI would be used ?
Please help and let me know if i am supposed to detailed it a little more.
    Thanks.

    Hi Bharat,
Normally the new calculated requirement/delivery date will be updated in APO through the CIF.
However you can influence the transfer with enhancement CIFSLS03 (influence sales-order-specific data directly before it is sent to SAP APO available on ECC side).
    Please see the below description.
    Thanks.
    Regards, Marius
In this enhancement, you can transfer customer-order-specific data to SAP
    APO.
The associated component EXIT_SAPLCSLS_002 provides you with tables that are
required for the transfer. In particular, these are:
    Requirements table ET_SL_REQ
    Item table ET_SL_DOC
    Field catalog ET_ATPFIELD
You can use this exit to create or change documents in the ERP system as well
as for the initial data transfer.
The data is transferred to SAP APO after this exit is called.
    Notes
If you use program /SAPAPO/CIF_DELTAREPORT3, you have to add the
corresponding logic to function module EXIT_SAPLCID3_001. For more information,
    see the documentation for
    enhancement CIFCID3.
Programs /SAPAPO/CIF_DELTAREPORT and /SAPAPO/CIF_DELTAREPORT2 also run this
    exit.

  • Requirement date for 3 level  Component in BOM

Iam having Multilevel  Sales order bom
Header material requirement date and receipt date given by system is 23.04.2009
first level assembly requirement date and receipt date given by system is  is 07.04.2009
    second level assembly is phantom
Third level componant requirement date is 31.03.2009 and receipt date given by system is 19 June 2009 .
Gr proceesing time of 2 days is maintained and no planned delivery time is maintained.
Why Third level componant receipt date given by system is 19 June 2009 ?
Edited by: mayuresh  bhurke on Jan 19, 2009 6:31 PM

    Mayuresh,
It seems the 3rd level component has a long planned delivery time in material master. Hence the system  has pushed the receipt date forward to 19 June 2009  from 31.03.2009. Please check material master time for the 3rd level component.
    Hope this helps.

  • Resheduling date in MD04

    HI PP Experts...
I have 1 doubt in Stock/Requ list. This list shows the Rescheduling date in one of the column. What is that mean? can anyone explain in detail?
    Thanks in advance.....
    S.ganeshraja

    Hi,
Rescheduling check is to change the dates of already existing firmed receipts
which were not planned on the same day as the requirements day to suit the
    requirement.
For this we need to define a rescheduling horizon.
Rescheduling horizon defines the period for bringing the receipts that should be
    taken into account for rescheduling.
    There are two process
1.Reschedule in - Bringing the process forward Exception message 10
    1. Within the recheduling horizon the system checks whether after the
requirement a firmend receipts exists which can be used to cover this
    requirement.
    2. Then the system displays the message Bring the process forward and
    exception message 10
    3. The net requirement calculation uses the receipt and the system will create
new procurement proposal only if there is any shortage.
    4. For this we need to define a tolerance value for bringing the process in
    tcode OPPQ /OPPR
The system checks compares this value with the difference between order
finish date- Reqmts date.If this difference is more than the tolerance value
the system issues the message for the MRP element to bring the process
forward if the reqmts date lies before the firmed receipt element date.
    5. Same process for Postponing the process Exception message 15

  • How to get the rescheduling date in MD04?

I need to create a report for buyers to show them the shortage of material. It will help them to determine how to reschedule the delivery of purchase orders. So, I need show the rescheduling date in MD04 on this report as the suggestion from MRP.
So, would you please help to let me known how and where I can get the rescheduling date (MDEZ-UMDAT) displayed in stock/req list?
    Thanks a lot!

    Hi,
With the User Exits it may be possible, check the feasibility..
    =============================================
Programming of additional columns (Customer Exit)
You can use Customer Exit M61X0002 to program up to three columns for the individual line display and the period totals. These columnscan be filled with additional data, which you can call in the lists using pushbuttons.
Programming of customer-specific access to the lists (reports)
By using reports RMMD07EX and RMMD07DB, you can program your own access to the collective display of the stock/requirements list.

  • Planned order date on requirement date

    Hi ,
My indepenedt req is maintained for monday .By backward scheduling it gets planned on friday(i.e production endson friday)
How i can schedule the production to take place in current week . That is for PIR entered on monday , the production should be planned in the current week.
Are there any settings in lot size   ?
    Regards
    ShankarR

    Hi,
PIR date is the requirement date.
When you run MRP with this date, the system checks for Avaialble Stock and receipts and does the Net requirement calcualtion.procurement selection, BOM explosion and scheduling.
When it comes to scheduling, it looks for the requirement date and schedules it based on the scheduling parameters maintained for the Planned orders.OPU3
You can set the scheduling type as  it forward or Current date scheduling .
If you set the Current date scheduling, the system will consider the start date as today and does the scheduling, if after the scheduling the availability date is past the requirement date anexception message is raised.
Hope this clarifies , please revert if you need any details.
    regards
    Ratan
