Reference field is missing on partial payment.
Hi
When creating a partial payment the value in the reference field is automatically transffered to the screen - and cant be changed. But when I look at the customer line item display the reference field is empty so I cant see to which payment it belongs.
I have searched the net but to no avail - hope you can help.

Probably there might be a substitution which is replacing the value in background. Just check to see substitutions.

Reference field value in the F110 Payment document

We are running the automatic payment run for the vendor invoices posted.
In each vendor invoice, we have filled the reference field, text field, etc. However, while running the payment in F110, the system does not reproduce this reference field value in the payment document. Hence we are not able to match the items for comparison.
Have we left out any setting in FBZP or somewhere ?Hello,
Apart from above suggestions, you can check linked invoices to payment document through below option.
Open payment document in FB03, go to Menu->Environment->Payment usage
This will list all invoices cleared through that payment document.
If you are looking for tables, Pass payment document number , company code, year, account type and account to AGKO table and get the clearing date. Pass these details to BSAK and get list of cleared documents.
AUGDT = Clearing date from AGKO
AUGBL= Clearing document from AGKO
and other details passed earlier.

Vendor name & Reference field to be copied to payment document

I am doing vendor paymen by t.code F110 . I want to copy vendor name and reference field to be copied from original booked billing document to payment document TEXT Field and Reference respctively. How do i do the same ?? pleae advise.

I am not found partial payment items
Hi all,
Iam facing all partial payment items in vendor account reconciliation.
In the layout i have to separate the 1.all open invoice items 2.all partial paymen items 3.open special G/L indicator items. In that i could not find all partial payment items. what is the specific field for that(all partial payments).

these no such fields for Partial Payments , U have to calculate that one.
invoice amt = 100
payments made for vendor = 50
then this line item will comes under partial items.
so here u have to check REF of the a/c documents.

Partial Payment (with invoice reference) for Invoice-based items
Hi Gurus,
I'd like to make partial payments to credit memos while "Include partial payment" is activated. However, if i activate "Include partial payment, partial payments for invoice-based items are no longer possible (partial payment amount is displayed only, and full amount is automatically applied).
My credit memos were posted via BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST. I've read that when using BAPI, invoice reference field is automatically populated with "V".
Can you please enlighten me what is SAP's logic behind this. How does SAP determine invoice-based items? And is there a workaround so I could still make partial payment while it is activated? Thank you.

Payment Reference Field KIDNO Not apprearing at the time of Vendor Payment

When we are making the Vendor Payment thru F-53, we are not able to see the Payment Reference Field KIDNO there. But when the payment document is posted and we see the line items then this field KIDNO comes there as non-modifiable field. We want to fill some information there in that field for some report purposes. Can you please help me, how can I see this field as changable field at the time of making vendor paymnts thru F-53.

Change the field status for the 'payment reference field' to optional or required, based on your requirements. You can do this in T.Code - FBKP.
Do this:
a) Check the field status group maintained in the master data of the Reconciliation account of the vendor.
b) In t.code - FBKP, click on 'Field Status Groups' and enter the variant created for your company code
c) Now from the resultant entries, double click on the field status group which has been maintained in the master data of the Reconciliation account of the vendor.
d) Double click on 'Payment transactions', you would see 'Payment Reference' there which would be having its status as 'Suppressed'. Just change it to Optional or Required!!

The user complains that the item 1 of 4 items in one document type AB, although it had the Credit memo and the Payment Ref. fields filled with the invoice number 9054525892 it was not cleared by the customer payment. They usually work with an automatic process to clear the documents.
The customer pays an amount (he already knows the net amount) for the bank and by the return file, according to the original invoice it makes the clearing if all the documents have the same due date and Payment reference correctly filled.
I would like to know why the item 1 of the document type AB was not considered even with the paymennt reference field filled.
Does SAP recognize the payment reference just if it is a document type debit 40 / credit 11 or is it smart enough to find an ITEM inside a document to clear just it?
I believe the user created a wrong document to give a discount.... but I would like to know how SAP works with the payment reference field.

Combining FI Documents Using a Payment Reference Number KIDNO.
In some countries you may be required to combine receivables, linked liabilities or cancellations in the same payment program.
This combination is carried out by filling field KIDNO in the billing header with the following values:
F2 billing documents (customer invoices) with the billing number
S1 cancellations using the reference to the corresponding F2 billing document to be canceled via the VBRK-KIDNO from the F2 billing document.
If a reference for the credit memo request exists for a billing document, then the VBRK-KIDNO value of the reference billing document is copied.
If there is no reference, then the KIDNO is given the current billing document number.
When the customer pays the invoice, it quotes the payment reference number, which enables the vendor to match the payment to the invoice more quickly.
The payment reference number consists of a sequential number and a check digit. Each country has its own rules as to how the check digit is calculated.

Assignment field (ZUONR) in partial payment customer
Hello,
We have an issue concerning the assignment field in the partial payment from a customer.
In the assignment field (ZUONR) we normally have the invoice numbers from another application (via interface to SAP).
When we receive a partial payment from a customer via bank statement (MT940 EBS file), we get a payment advice in FEBAN. on the correct invoice. It is not booked because the difference is too large. That is correct!
Our debtor department delete the payment advice and the use post item (in FEBAN) to create a partial payment (via FB05).
Instead of the assignment from the invoice document, SAP puts another number in ZUONR for the first posting area. Afetr investigation it seems like it is a part of the payment advice number!?
When we manually create a partial payment (without first having a payment advice from EBS), we get the (actual) date in ZUONR.
In the screenprints attached, it is shown.
In the attachment BSEG part 1 and BSEG part 2, the assigment fields with their values are visible as result of FB05 from post item in FEBAN.
For those items there was a payment advice, which is deleted (first). Assignment (ZUONR) is a "strange" value, part of payment advice number!?
BSEG part 3 and BSEG part 4, the items are shown when partial payment is manually entered (via FB05) without payment advice via EBS in FEBAN. Then a date is filled in assignment (ZUONR) field.
Is it possible to arrange that the assignment field (ZUONR) gets the value of the original invoice, on which the partial payment is created?

The ZUONR is filled by the Sort key in the account's master data. This sort key is defined in the OB16.
And check the path below: Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable --> Customer Accounts --> Line Items --> Display Line Items --> Display Line Items without ALV.

Partial Payment of CM with "V" in invoice reference
Hi Experts,
Can you please share your insights as to why SAP doesn't allow partial payment/clearing of CMs with "V" in invoice reference when "Include invoice reference" is activated in the editing options of processing open items. I've read that this is such for invoice-based items. What does that mean?

My scenario goes like this, the CM is greater than my invoice, so I'd like to partially apply the CM to clear the invoice. But F-51 (F-53 or F-58 may also apply), won't let me use partial payment (payment amount column is displayed only and full application is automatic). I've read that when "include invoice reference" is activated, partial payments for invoice-based items are no longer possible. Btw, the CM is not related to any invoices, and only contains "V" in invoice reference.
My question is what's the reason that SAP determines that my CM is "invoice-based" when the CM has "V" in its invoice reference?

Partial Payment - Invoice Reference Problem
Dear All Experts,
Iam working on a Cash flow Report wherein I need to display Cashinflows and Outflows period wise.I have a small problem in Invoice Refrence(REBZG) when partial payments done. My problem is whenever partial payment is made for an invoice, for the last payment invoice reference is not coming, have a look at the following example :
Invoice No = INV1 Invoice Amount = 50,000.
Partial Payment 1 : 30,000.
Partial Payment 2 : 15,000.
Partial Payment 3 : 5,000.
Now in BSAK tabel entries are as follows :
BELNR GJAHR WRBTR REBZG REBZJ
1200000 2009 30,000 INV1 2010
1200001 2010 15,000 INV1 2010
1200002 2010 5,000
Can anyone explain why it is coming like this? any config issue?

F-03 Partial Payment Tab texts missing

In f-03 Transaction we are not able to see the texts in Russian and Czech languages for partial payment tab. If logging on English its ok

Source language: en English
Target language: ru Russian
The issue is that if the text exist, regenerating the screen or the language load should have solved the issue. Its possible that you see on SE63 the translation as blank which would mean that the text was indeed missing.

i want to add the tab for reference field in slection parameter in incoming payment after open items selection.
Present selection prameters are document no, business are, due days, document date,INR gross amount, cash discount,cash. So i want to add one more parameter for reference doc number .

I am using 5.0 version it includes the tabs are Overview button,distribute diff.,charge of diff., Editing opitions,Cash discount due,create distribute case.
But configuration was not there in F-28.
plse let me the process and there is why to resolve the problem through the editing opitions.
