Refresh of Inbox

Can we refresh our inbox automatically in albpm 5.7

Hi,
No this is not possible.
I think that if you have a workitem with highest priority, you will get a popup message in SAP, check the other tab of a dialog step.

    In the UWL iview there will be having default time, you need to change that time period property for that Iview.
    Wait duration for UI refresh while waiting for update - make it 1.
    Also if necessary change the below two properties also.
    Wait duration before calling providers on loading preview
    Wait duration before calling providers on loading of UWL

  • Refresh user inbox without entering username.

    In the MM workflow, when there is a block, the workflow gets trigerred. The user can manually remove the blocks through MRBR, and there is a report which is excuted based on username and date  to refresh the user inbox.
    For some WF tasks in the SWWWHEAD table the username is updated as WF-BATCH, so when I run the report based on username, I am not able to fetch and clear these header items.
    Is there any other std tables/function modules where in we get a link between the tasks and original user names or do we have any other methods in refreshing the user inbox.
    "Items will be in the inbox of purchaser"

    HI All,
        I am done with the changes. I queried the swwwihead table by passing the user as 'WF-BATCH' , task, status as CANCELLED(Logically Deleted) and Date. The data is then send to a function module to get the Invoice details. Then the invoice is compared with the RBKP table and will be checking whether the username in the table and the input parameter are the same or not. If they are same, will be checking for blocks, if all the blocks are released, then the inbox is refreshed.
    As of now this functionality is working. I will get back if the UAT fails.

  • Need to refresh SAP Inbox(UWL)

    Hi,
    I want to refresh UWL explicitly in java code since it is not getting refreshed immediately once user approve/reject any task, it refresh after around 1 min or need to do it manually to see the updated list.
    So it create confusion that task has been approved/rejected or not.
    I want piece of java code to refresh Inbox explicitly that I 'll write in my custom java dynpro handler of one event raised by UWL iView.

    Updation:
    Although i dont have Much Experience with UWL Api,and the below mentioned approach is not tested. But while going through the Api i thought Probably to achieve refreshing you can try the following:
    Get the instance of UWL portal service in your WD application 
    Obtains the UWL view manager :  IUWLViewManager getViewManager(UWLContext ctx)
    Obtain UWLView,  This is used to get a view by its ID name which is defined in the system or custom XML files :
    UWLView getView(String id, UWLContext context)
    After getting the desired view you can set its refresh ret accordingly.
    You can give this a thought.

  • Is it possible to "refresh" the INBOX from the Server?

    Using POP protocole. My Inbox is corrupted, in that the older emails are missing. I was thinking that if I could 1. Delete the INBOX Folder and INBOX.MSF folders, then somhow "force" a retrieval of all the emails retained on the server I could resolve this issue.
    Is it possible to force TB to "re-retrieve" emails?

    right click the folder, select properties and then the repair button.

  • I bought a new laptop with Windows 7 and, for some reason, I am not getting Email alerts (I have to manually refresh my inboxes to see if I have any new messages) as I did on all other computers I have used.

    My Email accounts are through a local internet provider. What can I do?

    I can't think of any way to make the Navigation Toolbar appear/disappear based on which direction you move your mouse.
    Well, there is full screen view, where the whole toolbar area including the tab bar slides up off the screen, and reappears if you slide the mouse pointer all the way to the top. (You can use the F11 key to turn full screen view on and off.)
    Is it possible this is an option of one of your extensions?

         We have implemented a new workflow project. Work items are not being refreshed automatically when the user comes back to the inbox.
    Is there any way we can automatically refresh the inbox.

    normally the inbox is refreshed automatically when you enter.
    We found the program that is called when you enter the inbox.
    Here you can add additional code.
    Function module: SINWP
    subroutine: append_folrg_to_tree

    Does anayone know how  SAP refresh the inbox of the workflow
    automatically. Is there a systemparameter that says refresh every ?? minutes. Can you influence this from inside a workflow.

    There is a parameter to refresh the inbox if you are using the Portal.
    you have 3 horizontal small lines on the extreme right hand side beside "show filters" and "hide preivews".
    Once you click on the 3 horizontal small lines it gives you a list which has
    Refresh
    Personalize View
    Manage Substitution Rules
    Display connection Status.
    If you click on the Personalize View, it contains the option which says Page Refresh Rate...
    If the refresh rate is set for 5 mins, the approved workitem wont vanish from the inbox until the page gets refreshed after 5 mins.
    Try to change the refresh rate to 1 min or so... it works.... I have done this.....

  • Inbox Doesn't Show New Mail Until I Click Out of Inbox and Click Back In

    Hello, I originally posted this in the Microsoft Community, but I was told to post here instead. HELP!!! Nobody I know seems to have an answer for this.
    I have Outlook 2010 connected to Exchange (work email). Whenever I get new mail, I have to click out of the Inbox and then click back in, in order to see and open my new mail. I do receive the pop-up notification in the lower right hand corner, and
    I receive the "(1)" notification next to "Inbox" on the left side menu (that's how I know when I have new mail), but no actual email shows in the Reading/Window Pane. It's like I have to refresh my Inbox.
    The problem does not exist with any of my Inbox subfolders - only the Inbox itself.
    When I had my department help desk remote in, the problem ceased (making me sound crazy), but when the technician logged off remote access, boom, the problem was back.
    I've searched the internet, contacted my help desk multiple times, and deleted and re-created my Outlook profile, but nothing has worked so far.
    Any insight into this issue would be greatly appreciated, as this problem is a pain!

    Please check whether you can see the items in your Inbox using Online mode or Outlook Web Access or Outlook Web App (OWA). If you just cannot see them in your Cached mode profile, please start Outlook using the following command-line (Click
    Start and then click Run) to have a try:

  • Workflow in process status when work is completed and returned to inbox

    Issue...
    Once upgraded to ECC 5.0, our Workflows are still in process status after completing the work item and returning to inbox. Takes several seconds to go to completed status.
    More detail...
    In a number of our work items in custom workflows we utilize methods that display a custom transaction for review & approval in the workflow process. From within the custom transaction we issue the terminating event for the work item by means of Function Module "SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT" once the user approves or disapproves the work item.
    This worked all very well in Rel. 4.6c. By the time the users were routed back to their inbox the work item had disappeared.
    We recently upgraded to ECC 5.0 and experience the following problem. Once the user has left the work item and are back in their inbox, the work item is still on display. It eventually goes away once the users refresh their screen after a few seconds. This is very confusing to the users and some of them even wanting to start executing the same item again....
    I was wondering if anybody has any ideas on how the completion/termination of the work item could be changed so that it completes faster and is gone from the inbox immediately.
    In our research we did come across OSS note 831443, which explains as of release 6.20 that work items will be locked while executing a method and that the terminating event can only be delivered once it is unlocked. Taking this into consideration, we tried moving the terminating event to the end of the method within the business object program, but the work item never completed, even after refreshing the inbox.

    I've had quite a similar problem with the terminating event in a dialog while the workitem is locked.
    I came across the same SAPNote 831443, but it doesn't seem to tell the whole story there. As I found out, the status change (from "in work" to "complete") is just skipped over, while the workflow continues with processing, leaving a last workitem "in work" hanging out to dry when the whole process has already finished.
    Basically the problem is, or was, that a popup dialog was shown to the user after the processed the transaction, which held the lock open. I have found no logs, saying that there was a problem with a locked workitem, anyhow.
    At last I have found out, that basically there shouldn't be much coding between the <b>COMMIT WORK</b> statement and the coding that just ends the method with <b>END METHOD</b>. This kind of procedure does definitly apply to the newer Versions, as I didn't have any problems like this before. Mayhaps and only a guess is, that the unlock-operation was previously registered with a perform like PERFORM unlock_workitem ON COMMIT. or something similar. This defenitly has changed under the new releases.
    In your specific case I would recommend to register the event processing in the update task and end the workitem's method as soon, as possible. For example:
    CALL FUNCTION 'SWE_EVENT_CREATE' IN UPDATE TASK   ...
    If this still does not help, you could further disjoin the transaction processing from the event creation by adding
    STARTING NEW TASK
    IN BACKGROUND MODE
    or whatever the correct syntax was here. This will schedule another tRFC on the database commit, which then is defenitly be picked up by another work process of the application server, just right -- hopefully -- after the object's method has completed.
    If you're feeling good with this answers, or it least it gave you new ideas to look upon, please assign points as appropriate.

  • Problems in Bussiness inbox

        in my workflow there is a user decision, and in the decesion i have some decision options such as a activity wich is a task to display something with Work item text DISPLAY_ST
        Sometimes, when the agent receive workitem in inbox, then execute the user decision and choose the activity. It will call the task and display something.
        At the same time when i refresh the inbox, i will receive another mail entitle 'DISPLAY_ST' .  (the name of Work item text ).
       it occurs sometimes. any advice?
      BTW, the agent for user decision is two user id. And the agent for the task is general task.

    Firstly, please please make sure you understand the difference between "mail" and "workitem", they are very different: A mail is something you send out which people can read and delete; and a workitem is something you can execute and will remain in your inbox until it is complete or forwarded. An inbox for mail can be outlook/notes, an inbox for  workitems would be SBWP or the UWL.
    I assume the "mail" you refer to is actually a workitem. Check that you do not have anyu substitution active. In SBWP goto Settings -> Workflow Settings -> Adopt Substitutions, which will list all the users for whom you can be a sub.

  • IOS 8 Bugs

    Used to be a confident early adopter of Apple products.  Guess I should've known better with how iOS 7 was rolled out.  Well, where to start...
    Mail app:
    - Using All Inboxes of multiple accounts, try to delete multiple emails at once and get error that items could not be deleted.  Sure enough, they aren't
    - Sometimes refreshing the inbox goes wonky.  Blank spaces where messages should be, try to swipe to delete an email, and the touch is off, is swiping the email below it.  Have to close the app and reopen it to get the touch lined up
    - When swiping to delete an email from the inbox, after it's deleted Apple made the little red line kind of go across the display.  Sure, looks pretty, but you can't do anything while that red lines there.  Inbox won't scroll or anything.  Yeah, it's quick, but in 7 I used to be able to quickly swipe and delete many emails all in a row.  Now I have to wait for that red line to finish moving before I can do anything.  Is it a big deal?  Probably not, but just slows me down compared to how I used to work.  Maybe it's not a bug, but thought I'd list it.
    Pictures/Movies publish to You Tube
    - When taking a video and publishing to you tube, if you select the movie straight from the camera app and try to publish it from there, the you tube publishing page doesn't know you're on wifi so it won't let you upload in HD.  You have to cancel that and enter the movie from the photos app and publish it that way, then it will see you're on wifi and let you do HD.
    I think these are all I've found so far, but it's a start.  The mail app ones are the biggest pain, so I'm just wondering if I'm the only one seeing these.

    I had the same issue with my iPhone 5 the other day. I did a hard reset by holding the power and menu button until it restarted. But the problem still happened where it wasn't showing internet results from Bing. Then after 15 minutes, it started working. Also, when I was doing a search, it was a complicated search query and Bing wasn't working in Spotlight. So I tried a simple search like Guardians of the Galaxy and gave it some time and then the results started showing up. After that the complex searches and everything else started working. Hopefully yours works in time like mine did.

  • Mail doesn't send stationary header image

    Hey guys,
    I'm working on a custom made stationary but I'm running into some problems.
    When I compose a message using my stationary ... everything appears like I want but when I hit SEND and refresh my inbox, all I get is the bottom part of the mail with the text but the header is missing.
    Any questions whats happening?

    I deleted draft mails and every account, after doing a new one for every server my mail appears to be fine.
    I suffered for 5 days but I think I solved my problem,

  • Stop executing work item

    Hi All,
    When the work item is sent to substitute we need to check the level of substitute. if substitute is lower
    level than original approver then substitute  shouldn't  execute the work item instead it should be forward to higher/same level of original approver. Please help me out with your suggestions.

    This is just a problem with refreshing the inbox. It doesn't really matter because he won't be able to execute the workitem. The same thing would happen if he and someone else received a workitem and the other person executed it first. It's not a problem.
    Is this UWL or SBWP?

    Check to see that you have it set to ALL rather than UNREAD ONLY - that would explain why your READ emails are not showing.
