Refund Instructions

I tried refilling my account today with a $14 dollar voucher, making payment from my PayPal account. On each attempt, it reported failure, and immediately following my Skype balance remained unchanged. 3 hours following, my PayPal account shows 3 charges ($14 dollars each), and my Skype account has $42. I tried the directions on the support website (https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA297/how-do-i-request-a-refund), but they lead to a broken page after logging in. I'm currently experiencing the exact same problem. I tried to refill my account today but it would always fail to recharge. A few hours later, I logged in, and I saw that my account had 50$. Apparently Skype charged me countless times for no reason whatsoever. I tried getting a refund by going on the support page. But to no avail.
I really can't contact anyone via chat / email because of the following message: "We are unable to complete the submission process at this time. Please refer to this page for contacting Skype support."
I would greatly appreciate any help you can give me on this matter.

    I received an email indicating a refund for unauthorized in-app purchases from a minor (my daughter).  I clicked on the link included in the e-mail as instructed. But the link apparently has an error.  A new window opens up but doesn't allow you to continue with the option to request the refund.  Please help.

    .Was it a real Apple email? Seems strange that they would send you something based on a four year old purchase.

  • After following all instructions for returns, why haven't I received my refund for the Helvetica font?

    I requested to receive a refund for Helvetica on 1/28/15 after I uninstalled, deactivated, and deleted the font from my computer. It has been almost a month and the order status still states "Return Requested" and in the Open Cases tab it states "Open- Pending Adobe Response." I would not think it takes this long to process a refund. Is there any way to fix this problem? Thank you.

    In terms of a refund, what does it say on the app's description page in the store (a lot say that refunds aren't given) ? But you can try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will refund or credit you : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

    The iTunes Store sells songs in AAC format.  Most Android phones can play AACs.  Just sync them to your phone per the instructions with the phone.
    If by any chance your phone does require MP3 format, you can use iTunes to convert the files, per this guide: 
    iTunes: How to convert a song to a different file format - Apple Support
    (This conversion does not require burning.)
    For future reference, note that the iTunes Store is really optimized for people using Apple devices.  You might find it more convenient to buy music in Mp3 format from Amazon Digital Music or Google Play Music.

  • Need refund on printer I returned

    I am very frustrated...I had a problem with my hp deskjet 3050 j610a after getting a new Dell computer which has Windows 8 instead of Windows 7 that was on my old computer...I spoke with a customer service rep and they said I could get a "refurbished" printer just like the one I have but compatible with Windows 8...I paid $52.99 and when the printer arrived it was nothing like the one I have...I called customer service back and told them I didn't want a different printer because I'm satisfied with the one I have...I was sent instructions on how to return the printer and did so taking it to Fed Ex and sending it back within the time alloted...the date my credit card was charged for the printer is 2-6-2013 and the date we returned the printer was 2-15-2013...I have yet to get a refund on my credit card...what do I do???  I can't find any where to talk with someone on-line about this issue and if I call I get someone that confuses me and I can't understand them...if something can't be resolved I will have to contact my credit card company and file a "dispute" which will take more time for me and the credit card company...who do I get in touch with on-line as I have filled out the info asked for but the warranty has expired so I can't get any further on the site to ask the question...please someone help me...thanks to anyone who can help me out of this mess...I have been loyal to Hewlett Packard for several years but recently it seems the company is harder to get in touch with someone...I always felt HP's printers were the best even though the computers have disappointed me...now...I'm not so sure if I should stay a loyal customer...!!!!

  • Mac App Store app does not install. How do I get a refund?

    I purchased an app from the Mac App Store (Connect360 - $20).  I "installed" the app from the Mac App Store.  The app appears on the dock and loads, but when it's done, it disappears from the dock.  The app is not located in the Applicaitons menu like it should be.  When I return to the Mac App store app and go to PURCHASED, the app is listed there again with the INSTALL button ready to go to be installed.  I've gone through this now 2 or 3 times and the app doesn't ever install.
    I followed all the links from the Mac App store to the developers website and after digging down into the comments found that others have had this problem as well.  I contacted the developer and they said this was a "Mac App store bug that Apple is aware of and to please contact Apple."  I have not found anywhere to properly report this and feel very frustrated that I keep getting sent in link circles from one place on the Apple website to the Mac App store and back again. 
    I had previously tried the "trial" version from the developer and loved it.  I followed all the instructions to "uninstall" the app before installing the Mac App store app as well. I thought it would be nice to have purchased the app through the Mac App store so it was tied to my account, but no suck luck.
    Anyone know the proper procedure for requesting a refund or point me in the direction to get answers on how to get my $20 back?

    Your only recourse for a refund if you can't get the app installed correctly is from the developer, not Apple.

  • How do I get a refund for money taken out of my Pa...

    Last year I signed on for a Skype number, Within an hour I found out I didn't need it and tried to cancel it. Of course there is no phone number to call and no email to communicate with these people. Plus, at that time  the site said the numnber could not be canceled. (Which was bogus - you always have 3 days of "buyers remorse" to cancel something.
    Anyway, although Iwas upset at having $60 stolen from me, I figured when time cane to renew i'd get an email confirming that I wanted to renew, and I would not renew. INstead, today, my Paypal account was debited for $60.  I tried to email the [email protected] email that had taken the money from my Paypal account, only to find it was no longer in service.
    So I came here and this year, lo and behold it *is* possiblke to cancel your SKype number - but they still have $60 of my money and I want it back.
    Can someone please please please give me a phone number or an email address of a real person so I can talk to then and get my money refunded.

    You will need to proceed through each step, one at a time. Sign on to the Skype website as requested. Choose the subject and topic which most closely matches the item you need assistance with. Then, continue past Step 2 of the instruction where several articles from the FAQ library will appear for you to review, and proceed to Step 3, Continue Support Request (the blue "button" appears at the lower right corner of the website page). You may also skip through Step 4 where you will be referred back here to the Community; no need to do this as the Community is where you started. When you complete the webform and click Submit, your information is relayed to Skype and you will receive a reply via e-mail.

  • Processing Refund checks from One time vendor

    Hi Gurus
    I have an issue related to refund checks from vendors with whom we have very few transactions. My question is that if I have refund check from a vendor but do not have any subsequent payment to be made, how should I enter this check in the system? If I enter a credit memo, it should reduce the subsequent payments to the vendor but what to do if there is no subsequent payment?

    Thanks for your reply. I tried to follow the instructions but could not process the entries. Let me enter the steps I am following:
    in Trannsaction F-43, I am debiting vendor AAA (not expense account but actual vendor number) using posting key 21 and crediting the expense GL account (posting key 50). So my vendor has a debit balance and the expense account has credit.
    In the second step, I am again in F-43 and I credit my vendor AAA (posting key 31) and debit the bank GL account (posting key 40). But I am getting error that document spliting is active and Item category 04000 not allowed in accounting transaction 0300/0001
    I am not sure if I am doing the correct entries or the scenario is clear to me. The exact need is that if there are no future payments, how do we handle any refund checks from the vendor that could be a one time vendor or any vendor with whom we have limited transactions.

    Please be aware that you are not communicating with Apple when you post in these forums. These are user-to-user support forums, so in almost all cases the only people who will reply to your posts are, like Seventy-One and me, your fellow users.
    And as to your complaint, you don't need to wait for the receipt. Just look in your Purchase History; that will give you the order number. Then go here:
    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/
    and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.
    Note as well that a refund is by no means guaranteed. The terms of sale for the iTunes Store state that all sales are final, so the iTunes Store may well refuse, though in my experience they try to be accommodating whenever they can.
