Report Veiwer asking for Windows Logon (not database logon)

Hi there,
I'm developing a C# web application in Visual studio 2010; and I'd like to include some crystal reports.
I've done the reports, and they work well, but here's my problem: -
I keep on getting prompted to log in to my computer (windows credentials) when I view the report in a browser.
Some more about my application: -
I'm using .net framework 4, and my application uses the MVC framework.
I've got a "Content" folder where I put my non-MVC pages (including the reports).
I've set the web application to use "Forms" authentication and to allow anonymous access
(The website has public and private pages, and the authentication is not linked to active directory in any way).
Some other clues that I've found so far:
1.) When I "run" the application inside Visual studio I DO NOT get prompted for my windows credentials when viewing a report.
The report displays correctly without any issues.
2.) When I view the report through my "localhost" URL, then I am prompted for my windows credentials.
So I though about file permissions, and set the web site's "Application Pool" identity to myself, and gave myself full permissions on "C:\Program Files (x86)\Business Objects" and all the files / folders contained in that folder.
It still prompted me for my windows credentials when I viewed the report.
3.) If I don't put the CrystalReportViewer control on my page, then I don't get prompted for my windows credentials.
Well, that's all I can think of. Please have a look, and let me know if you can help me?

Hi Adam,
Thank-you for pointing me in the right direction.
To cut a long story short: -
I had a look at the folder "...\aspnet_client\system_web\4_0_30319\crystalreportviewers13" and my NT permissions were perfect; but my IIS was set up to deny anonymous access to this folder.
I fixed the IIS setting, and the windows login prompt disappeared.
