Restrict with variable: selection less than

Hi,
I want to restrict a characteristic against a variable, lets say, Current Fiscal Year. But I want the restriction to be "Less Than" currunt fiscal year and NOT "egual to."
It's an SAP Exit variable that I'm using, so I wana hardcode it to show "less than".
How do I achieve that?

Hi:
For the variable type in query designer, select the Selection Options. Now, when you run the query, you will get to choose all the options inclufing what you want.
If you are not able to see these, create a new variable and make sure you select Type: Selection Options while creating the variable itself.

Hi all.
The universe is a OLAP Universe
When i created a query in webi and put the month in the filter area with the operator less than or equal to like this.
Month (less than or equal to) 2010.01 for example. The all result brings also the all values like 2010.02, 2010.03, etc
What is the problem and how can fix that ?

Looks like you are using a less than or equal to with a Sting data type.
I think you should change to your filter to Year <= 2010 And Month <= 1. Hope you have a month and year object in you BeX.

If it has run for 3 hours it's probably done and you can quit Migration Assistant and reboot the new computer. In the future rather than using Migration Assistant I would recommend using Startup Assistant which tends to be a bit more reliable and does not create a new user account as MA does. If you're interested here is an article explaining Setup Assistant tips.

Problem with variable selections

Hi All
I am executing the report with period 46.2007-50.2007 . I am getting the result for this period.But if i run the report with same selections from 42.2007-50.2007, I am not getting the data.It says no applicable data found.
I am using interval as the option for variable .Could some one help on this?

Hello
According to your selection you should get the data.
check the both selection (46 - 50) and (42 - 50) in the LISTCUBE transaction.
if data available in both cases then problem may be with other restrictions.
If no user exits are in that variable try create one more variable as it is and then try by restricting with new variable.

Selecting less than a full word

Is it possible to get an AVDocGetPageText() callback with less than a full word of text? If I make the selection rectangle smaller than the full word using PDDocCreateTextSelect, it still scales up to the word boundary. I just wish to see the letters in the selection box, not the full word that ends outside of it.

Napster and all the rest are just as bad. That's why it's such a dangerous thing to make assumptions here that other music download services work the same way as the iTMS.
What's really great about Microsoft's DRM is that when you have to reinstall Windows and then restore your licenses, it counts against you. Every time you do that (which can be often when you use Windows), it's one more computer authorization. I have a Rio Karma (gotta have gapless playback), and it came with a gift card for a free album from Napter. After a few rounds of trying out different Windows-Linux dual boot options, I ran out of authorizations (as though I'd changed computers) and can no longer play the files.
At least I learned enough about DRM with my "free" album to forever avoid actually paying for such content.

Terrible download speed with Infinity 2 (less than...

I was a relatively early adopter of BT infinity. When I first signup I recieved a consistent 70mbps+ down 80mbps up.
Over the last few months this has dropped to around 40mbps down and 12mbps up.
I posted here regarding the issue, contacted BT, and even Emailed the tech support guys recommended here on this very forum.
Unfortunately nothing improved, however since 40mbps down was okay for almost everything I needed to do I decided to leave it.
Now however, the situation has become dire. For the last month my download speed has been consistently less than 4mbps with my upload speed being 2-3x as fast!
The BT speedtester refuses to complete due to the test taking too long. However I have managed to get a screenshot from speedtest.net.
To make matters worse, webpages down't always seem to complete, with many requests eventually timing out.
I am at a complete loss and would like some advice on where to go from here. I have for all intents and purposes lost faith in the standard BT customer service having spent hours on the phone with them before when my speed dropped to 40mbps a few months ago.
Any advice would be very much appreciated.

I also am having the exact same issue. I am on the phone now and they are telling me now that is all my line can handle.
This is disgusting, the service is disgusting, cannot get an engineer out. For over 10 months i could get 60mbps steady downloads now i can't
even stream a youtube video!!
even though i have another infinity 2 line in the downstairs living room getting 65mbps steady downloads from the same exchange.

ERROR: PGI in delivery with picked quantity less than delivery quantity

Hi Friends!
I need your help, i have the following situation:
Outbound Delivery with batch position:
90001 Mat DD3450 Picked Delivery Quantity=98 and Picked quantity=84
Overall Pick Status = "B"
Overall WM Status = "C"
The outbound delivery was posted completely and the following documents was generated:
WMS transfer order: With 84 UN in quantity
Material document: With 98 UN in quantity
Invoice: With 98 UN billed
The question is how was posible to generated the PGI for the outbound delivery when the picked quantity was less than delivery quantity? is a SAP program error?

Check your Picking Confirmation config. as you are using WM/Lean WM, then your Shipping Point should have a mandatory requirement to confirm all TO's. The confirmation should update the Picking Status and the Overall GI Status to 'C' (with any relevant changes to the picked qty). Give that a go.

Anybody else had recurring issues with MBPs of less than a year old?

Both my son and I bought MBPs less than a year ago, and we've both had two faults develope which were repaired by the store (not Apple) where they were bought. My son's MBP has developed yet another fault, and frankly, I'm fed up of traipsing up and down from one end of our town to the other, waiting 3 or 4 weeks for the repair to be done, only to find that in another 3 months another fault is occuring.
The Apple expert in the store suggested that there might have been a batch issue, as both of our MBPs came from the same batch, and advised contacting Apple.
I'd really rather conduct this by email, as I don't have time to spend hanging around on a phone.
Anyone out there give me some (constructive only) suggestions please?

Issue with variable selection

I have created a sample iView which has a BW query. I have attached a variable form to the input of the Query and a table view to its output. However when I am deploying the iView, I cannot see a selection list for the variable and neither any data in the table

So you have a form in which the user selects value from a drop-down list and once user submits the table should be populated with appropriate data.
Steps:
Start--FormDataServiceTable--
End
1.Place a form , next a Data Service and a Table which pulls data from this data service.
2.Add a Dop-Down control to the form and configure if its a Static or Dynamic as needed
3. Connect the Form OUT port to DataService IN port(drag and drop) , select the connector/line which was created and click configure.
4. Map the Drop-Down control to appropriate column (This is available in bottom right of the screen)
5.Click on the table and select the columns which you would like the Table to have.
6.Save and Run.
This should run as desired

HBO movie selection less than Comcast

Ever since I switched from Comcast to Verizon, my wife and I have noticed that the number/selection of movies available via our HBO package is way down. We're trying to figure out if Verizon purchases a more limited HBO package than Comcast or if, coincident with our switch to Verizon, HBO cut back on the number of movies it offered. The selection offered on HBO On-Demand is similarly affected.
We don't watch that much TV, but feel like there's never anything new to watch on HBO.
Has anyone else noted the same change? Or, does anyone have an explanation?

I really appreciate the fact that HBO On Demand can be seen in HD. That was a major drawback when trying to cue up some HBO programming at will.
However, I noticed that what the HBO website says is currently running on demand is different than what we see is available through our Verizon set-top box. For instance, I went to look for Watchmen (which HBO is currently saying should be available through On Demand), but my FiOS TV says that only Jurassic Park and something else I didn't want to watch were available.
As an HBO subscriber, I feel that we should be getting exactly what HBO is putting out there. In fact, there's a lot of programming that HBO has made available through On Demand, but those options aren't there for FiOS.
After going through the proper customer support channels with Verizon, I'm just getting the standard runaround. "Call tech support", "call billing". I see where this is headed. Probalby to me switching to AT&T U-Verse or satellite. It's really sad when something as simple as trying to get what you paid for turns into a mountain.

Cannot seem to open a new project with a height less than 100px

Surely there is not a minimum limit on the size of project I can work with in Captivate. I'm trying to open a new project that is 968 x 30 px but it will not let me and defaults back to 100px height.
Is there a way for me to achieve this or is this a flaw in Captivate? I'd be suprised if theu have set a limit on minimum height!

Hi there
Not sure if it's a "flaw", but it's been that way for as long as I can recall. Keep in mind that Captivate is really designed for capturing screens and creating things that are substantially larger than 100 px.

Bank statement issue with ending balance less than 1 euro

Hello,
we have an issue. When the ending balance amount in the ebs is 0,15 the system reads this amount as a BAI status instead of an amount.
Consequently the number near the 015 is read as an amount.
For example this is a row of the ebs:
88, 045,015,060,015,072
the system read 015 that should be and ending balance value as a closing ledger status and consequently the 072 is read as an amount even if this is another status.
Do you know if there is a OSS note released by SAP about this issue?

As far as I know, if 015 will come with note to payee line 16 then system will consider it as a amount. But if 015 will come with note to payee line 88 it will be treated as transaction type code status, like010 for Opening ledger balance and 015 for closing ledger balance etc.

community who found this and brought it to our attention and we fixed it.
