Sales orders for quotation do not cif to APO

Hi experts,
I face an issue I cannot cope with:
when I create an order for a quotation and order quantity is less than quotation quantity the order doesn't cif to apo. When I make another order and quotation is closed the only second order comes to APO and total requirement decreased, because the quotation disappears. If the order is created for a full quantity, the qotation disappeares and order cames OK.
In R/3 I set the rule of position completion = A (complete at first call),  document flow records = '2', effect of value copied = '+', copy schedule lines = ' '.
I'll be very pleased if anybody gives an idea how to get a distribution of requirements between quotation and order in APO.
Dimitriy Karpov

Hi,
If you are replicating the sales order from R3 to CRM then you will get all the orders present in CRM. If that is not the case then you need to write one RFC in R3 to get the desired data as R3 is governed by Select queries on tables instead of Function modules in CRM.
So if you want to fetch any information from R3 then you need to create RFC and use select query to get the data.
Thank you.

  • Planning for Sales orders for quantities greater than forecast in APO SNP

    Hi All,
We have a requirement in which planning in SNP is done based on the forecast  quantity transferred from DP . Demand from Sales orders is not taken into consideration for planning . The PO's are created based on the forecast quantity only SO's consume forecast  . Now a situation arises where we have the sales orders quantity  ( say 400) is more than that of the forecast( say 300 ) , this means  for quantity of 100 no planning is being done by SNP.
We want to know are there any ways of getting the remaining quantity being planned by SNP
The planning strategy used is 40 in ECC
    Thanks in advance
    Regards
    Surendra

    Hi Surendra,
For better control, the forecast quantity should match the sales order quantity for plg strategy 40.  If there are cases when sales order quantity is greater than forecast, you can create a control check in ECC to inform the users who creates the sales orders to get a popup message to create a sales order with rush order type or any other type to track the excess sales orders received against forecast.
In SNP, once this rush order is entered, upon subsequent net change heuristic plan which runs day night, it considers those excess quantities and puts up purchase requisitions and procurement & production can be planned based using those PRs in SNP.
    Please confirm

  • Sales order type quotation integration (VMI process)

    Dear experts,
We are testing a VMI scenario, more specifically we are trying to generate sales order document in R/3 from the TLB process in SAP SCM.
We have configured the determation of a document type "quotation" for the VMI process in the corresponding configuration steps in R/3. As a result the document was transferred and correctly created in R/3. However, after its creation, the document was not updated in SCM APO. Henceforth, the document, in SCM created by the TLB, does not have a reference to an order number.
Moreover, we have executed adelta report and it did not recognize any inconsistency. It seems like the sales order type quotation is not recognized by the standard integration model for sales orders.
And in this sense we would like to know if the sales order type quotations can be transferred to SCM.
Thanks in advance for all your help.
    Regards,
    Pedro

    Hello Pedro,
Did you solve the issue of quotations not getting published in ECC from SAP APO?  We are facing the
same issue and would appreciate if you can share the solution you have implemented.

  • Creating Sales Order for "Payer" thru VA01 trans.

    Dear All,
In our project, we have stations which r  <b>Sold-to-party</b> and <b>Credit customers</b> which is a <b>Payer</b>.
We have to create <b>Sales order</b> for both <b>Stations</b> and <b>Credit customers</b>. Creating Sales order for Station is not a problem but each station has many credit customers, which are maintained in the Station.
When we are creating Sales Order via <b>VA01</b> for a particular credit customer, we are entering Station as a sold-to-party and it asks for Payer which is the Credit customer for that station.<b>But when we are recording through SHDB transaction it is not asking for payer(credit customer for that station).</b>

    Hi,
There is TABLES parameter where you can pass the PARTNERS information. I am not sure of the parameter name but it would refer to something like BAPIPAR.

    Dear Friends,

please note that as per the system suggesion i go to Define Attributes of System Messages  for changing the message type from E to W. But i can't find this kind of message type in that list.

    Hi,
Subcontracting for Sales Order Stock: -
Purpose: - Subcontracting is also possible in conjunction with sales order stocks. The subcontracting orders are account-assigned to a sales order. Thus, the components are not transferred (using a transfer posting) to the "stock of material provided to vendor" but are directly withdrawn from the sales order stock the time of the goods receipt. The material manufactured is also posted to the sales order stock.
The cost of subcontracting is then debited to the sales order.
Since the components are not transferred to the "stock of material provided to vendor", it is recommend that you use a transfer posting to transfer the provided components to a new storage location (for example, 9999). This enables you to obtain an overview of those stocks that are physically located at the subcontractor. This information is particularly important when you carry out a physical inventory of the sales order stocks.
    Features: -
Withdrawal from Stock of Mat. Provided or Sales Order: -
For components that are managed in sales order stock, you can define whether the components are to be withdrawn directly from each sales order or from the stock of material provided to vendor. You manage this via the dependent requirements indicator for individual customer requirements and collective requirements (MARC-SBDKZ).
You can maintain this indicator in the following places:
In the MRP view of the material master record (MRP 4)
In the explosion types for the BOM item (in Customizing for Production in the step Basic Data -> Bill of Material -> Item Data -> Define explosion types )
Configuring the explosion types has priority over the configuration in Inventory Management.
If the indicator is set at Collective requirements only (2), the materials are withdrawn from the stock of material provided to vendor. If this indicator is set any other way, the system withdraws materials from sales order stock.

  • Delivery from Sale Order for Inquiry stock

    Dear All,
We have unique requirement from client mentioned below, any help would be greatly appreciated.
This is a trading sale which is initiated from inquiry.
    1. Inquiry is created in SD, which in turn triggers Purchase Requisition.
    2. PR is converted to RFQ.
    3. Based on RFQ prices are negotiated with vendors, then Quotation is sent to Customer from VA21 which is created against inquiry.
    4. Now when the PO is created w.r.t RFQ, then GR is done , Stock will be lying against inquiry.
    5. But i want to do delivery from sales order for stock lying against inquiry.
we are looking for a workaround solution.
    Note:
    1. Client has disagreed with Stock Movement from Inquiry to quotation using MB1B, as it becomes manual transaction.
    2. PR triggering has to be @ Inquiry, as sale order will not be created until quotation is approved.
    Looking forward for valuable inputs.
    Thanks in advance
    Best Regards,
    Chaithru

    Tien,
Approval will not work when you have mutiple rows of data.  You would have to work with SP Transaction Notification

  • Sales Order Delivery Priority is not CIFed from ECC to APO

I Have CIFed all master and transactional data like characteristics, products, Resources, PDS, Sales Orders, Stocks, Production and Planned Orders without any issue appart from the following: Delivery Priority of Sales Order:
for all the Sales orders that I have assigned PRJ (project sales orders) I have assigned delivery priority 1.
however after CIFing of sales orders although quantities are correct I do not see order priority in Sales Order in APO:
this is the second test system I have and when I CIFed S.O. in the previous test every worked as expected.
Do you have any idea why this happens?

    Hello Babu,
    it is a version 7
there were actually some CIF related BADI's that I had activated for test reasons and I deactivated them although they did not seem to do anything. there were not any user exit activated.
I CIFed using CFM2 & RIMODINI and the results were the same. moreover there was nothing in inbound and outbound queues.

  • Pending order delivery against sales order and quotation problem

    Dear Expert
I am facing problem when we are tracking delivary quantity against sales order and quotation. then our delivary quantity not matching with invoiced quantity.
Actually the logic of report are below
Pick up the VBAK-VBELN and VBAK-KUNNR where AUART = quotation, VKORG, VTWEG, SPART, ERDAT = selection.
now when any quantity which are added in sales order in new line not cattered through below code and it show problem of mismatch.
Can any one help me in finding data from all this table to catter delivey quantity, quotation qty and sale order qty.
    thanks in advance.

Starting from quotes, you could find your quote, then read SD document flow table VBFA for next document of type sales order (could be more than one sales order from a quote).  Then you could obtain delivery documents (could be more than one for a sales order) for all your sales orders, again using next document code in table VBFA.  This would present you tables that could contain multiple rows:
    quote
       sales order
           delivery,
           delivery
        sales order
            delivery
and so forth.  You might also consider using table VBUK or VBUP to discover status of each quote item.

  • Free Goods Sales Order  for Charities with Credit Limit

    Dear All
I have a scenario where POS (Point of Sales) has been implemented, the process of POS is ok,but the requirement of the client is they are giving some goods to charity, when ever a person comes with a special card (Issued by the company) the outlet will create a sales order for the same without any charges with a credit limit of 1000 SAR (saudi arabian riyal).
    Requirement
    1) Creation of sales order with delivering goods but without any charges.(should have effect in Stock)
2)These charities is been treated as Customer with a credit limit of SAR 1000 (whenever the credit limit exceeds system should block the order)
how this scenario can be mapped in SD,
    Thanks in advance
    Malik

    Dear Malik
keep the process regular, which will help in blocking the charity customer when reached 1000 SAr at order level itself.
As customer need to be shown that he  is not charged.
you can work on changing the display of output determination .
You can take the help of Ababer and display what ever client is asking for.
I think  this may solve your query without disturbing you regular business process.

  • Delivery date in Sales Order for Make to Order Scenario

    Hello,
We are creating Sales order for MTO ... In that our requirement is to get the delivery date based on Production planning and not from RLT. ie we have configured RLT as 36 days, system calculates delivery date as 36 days from the date of order what ever be the order quantity but considering our plant capacity  this is not possible. In our Production planning we allocate certain numbers per week. so when we give 100 nos order it plans as per the allocation if we see through MD73 it will give clear picture but in our sales order it shows delivery possible date as 36 days from date of PO. How to correct this.. it should calculate from the date of beginning of the production process.

  • Different Tax base in pricing procedure for a single sales order for different line item material.

    Hi,
I have a scenario wherein in a sales order, for two different material, the tax base of pricing should get triggered on the basis of sold to party and the material entered at line item level.
Logic triggers on the basis of Region of Customer & a unique field in the Material Master but problem comes in the calculation of Tax base as the sequence of condition type (from – to)  is already defined in the pricing procedure to pick from a particular step but in second line item the base is different i.e. the sequence of condition types that are maintained in pricing procedure should be different for Tax to calculate differently.
Kindly suggest if the same can be handled in a single pricing procedure and dynamically taking care of condition type sequence through Alt Cal Base Formula, so far I’ve tried both Alt Cal Formula & Base but it is not working
Client doesn’t want to go ahead by creating two different orders (through separate Pricing Procedure) for that. They want to have both materials in same order.
Kindly suggest a suitable way to handle this scenario.
    Regards,
    Aashika Agarwal

    Hi,
Click on the ''check availability'' button at item overview and then click on ''One-time delivery'' on the top. This will ensure that you will have only one delivery for whatever quantity is confirmed on that date.
If you want to apply this rule for all orders across a sales area, then you can do the below configuration step :
SPRO->sales and distribution->basic functions->availability check with ATP logic->Define default settings-> Here in avail. checking rule select A (one time delivery). This will ensure that all orders created for a particular sales area will have only one delivery.
    Hope this helps.

    Palani
