SAP WM Discrepancy

Hello SAP gurus,
I am rather in the field of WMS. I have made a small mess and require your assistance and guidance on how to solve the below issue. I have attached an image file on my view of the troubled material (LS24) snapshot.
Physically, there are no stocks under bin location 901, 916 and 999. I would like to eliminate these figures from the WMS system. The discrepancy here is only in the WMS system. MM is untouched and is reflecting the right physical stocks.
Please do help me out. Thank you.

Hi Pravin,
Use Tcode LT23 to find the open TO which you have created and cancel them. Give your batch number in the dynamic selection batch under the transfer order item tab. Attached is the screen shot.
After the cancelling them you have to find and move the positive quant of the same batch to the negaitive quant to nullify the same. Then it should be okay. if you are not able to figure it out then put a scrren shot after you have cancelled the open TO.
Thanks
Vineeth

  • EUPEXR Summary Discrepancy between SAP & Bank for Zero-Decimal Amounts

We're producing this idoc (EUPEXR) as a summary of a batch of PAYEXT. The problem we have is that the way SAP summarizes the amounts and the way the bank summarizes is different. It appears that they are using the raw database data. For example,
    Amounts
    350.00 USD
        400 JPY
    SAP provides a sum of 35400 = (35000 + 400)
    whereas the bank calculates 75000 = (35000 + 40000).
SAP is In the edi record received by the bank they "assume" a decimal if none exists and defaults to two positions. So when they read 400 they calculate it as 40000.
Note: this doesn't affect the amount that the bank processes in the transaction. They still process 400 JPY. This only affects the way they calculate the sum total.
Does anyone know of a way in SAP where we can correct how it calculates the sum total?

from the process code (we42, inbound) take the f/n module. check in se37 and display the f/n mod. search for the key
    1. 'EXIT' or
    2. 'customer' or
    3. 'CUSTOMER-FUNCTION'.
u will find text related to customer exit. place a break point there and check the idoc using we19 and see if the break point is reaching. this shid help.
alternate way of finding the f/n module in the process code
else check ur partner profile and in the inbound parameters double click on the message type. there u can see the process code. again double click and u can find the f/n module. then follow th steps for searching in se37 for exit

  • Purchase Order Items open vs ME2M discrepancy

First posting so if this is not the right section please move this topic.  Was the closest I could come to correct forum placement.
Hello all,  I am in the process of setting up BPM to monitor u201CN* of Purchase Order Items openu201D from various plant locations and I am noticing the number BPM gives is different than what the system you give if I used ME2M.
For example:  I am setting up BPM to monitor Number of Purchase Order Items Open for plant location 2102.  The set up is scarce and I only have a few fields filled out in the set-up:
-Document Type u2013 Single Value u2013 NB, UB, FO, ZPC, ZGR
    -Plant (Item) u2013 2102
-Doc. Category u2013 F (Purchase Order)
-All of fields are left blank
When this runs I will get an example of 1487 (it changes on an hourly basis so I canu2019t give a static value).
When I try to verify this number using ME2M I get a value of 1237.  A difference of 250.
The configuration I am using for ME2M is as follows:
    -Plant u2013 2102
    -Scope of List u2013 ALLES
    -Selection Parameters u2013 WE101
-Document Type - NB, UB, FO, ZPC, ZGR
-All other fields at left blank
Any reason for this discrepancy?  The closest I can guess is SAP is pulling in some additional information OR my configuration is incorrect.  Anybody run into this issue that has some tips?
    Thank you
    -nic

I know that ME2M has nothing to due to with BPM.
I am confused as to why when I set up BPM, in Solution Manager, to monitor Purchase Orders that are open I am getting a different number than when I use the transaction ME2M in SAP ECC.
    For example:
When the process runs in Solution Manager I get back 1425 open POs
When I go into SAP ECC and use the transaction ME2M it will only pull up 1175 open POs
Somewhere along the lines I am missing or adding 250 POs.  The current setup (listed above; not sure if BPM is configured the same for everyone) is listed above.
I have tried various set-up options in both BPM Solution Manager and SAP ECC (ME2M) but can't seem to find where these additional numbers are coming from.
    Thank you

  • SAP GR/IR discrepancies

    Hi SAP GURU,
Can anyone help me on the following issue:
My Client receive 7680 pieces, and the P.O. Said 7500 Pieces.  The issue is the received quantity vs the invoiced quantity.  The discrepancy is a GR / IR and is showing up on the GR / IR report.  This happens when the invoice is entered into the system before the goods receipt.  It's shows up as though there is a quantity issue on the GRIR report.  I hope this helps make the situation more clear.
    Thanks

  • Inventory Audit Report and Inventory G/L Account discrepancy

    Good Day!
Hi Everybody. I had experienced a discrepancy between the Inventory Audit Report and Inventory G/L Account.
Before everything else, our client does not have any PO, GRPO. Only A/P Invoice and A/P Credit Memos so there are no difference being posted.
There were also no transactions posted directly in Inventory G/L Account but from observation, there is a minor difference. This only happened with two transactions in AP Invoice with Negative Quantity.
The AP Invoice is composed of a single item, the unit price is 180.00 x -58 pcs quantity. Total amount is -10,440.00.
    G/L Account posting is
    Inventory 10,440.00
    A/P                       10,440.00
In the FIFO layering, the item cost is 200.00 (based on the current stock value) and the current stock quantity before posting is 80 pcs . Since this is a negative quantity A/P Invoice, it seems that the cost of the item when the transaction will be posted is  200 (based on the current stock value) so when I view the Inventory Audit Report amount, it says the inventory cost/posting is -11,600 (200 x -58).
But on actual G/L Account, the posting is -10,440.00 from A/P Invoice, that's why the inventory discrepancy occurs. It seems that SAP B1's Inventory Audit Report confuses the FIFO cost posted versus G/L Account's posted based on the document. Since the document is A/P Invoice, SAP B1 assumes that the transaction will post the amount as the additional inventory cost and posting the inventory cost into Inventory G/L Account. However, since this is a negative document, the system is releasing the items, thus, FIFO kicks in. The Inventory Audit Report catches the amount based on FIFO costing. The problem is that the Inventory Audit Report is more accurate than the Inventory G/L Balance.
Any suggestion to fix this guys?

  • SAP R/3 : Indirect Role assignments - Is position unique to every user?

    Hi.
While am exploring /learning SAP R/3 roles and auth, I would appreciate if I could get clarity on the following :
This  link on SDN on Indirect role assignments are very informative.
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/f03e6f6c-8c16-2a10-1581-ed8812e2effe
This link is also more explanatory : http://my.affinitext.com/public/book/5442/-1/1423831
So if my understanding is correct, it is better to assign roles - indirectly by position, so that if an employee's position changes, his role can be removed, based on position again ??? And somewhere we are linking with infotype 105.
My only doubt is : if we are going to assign roles by position and remove the roles by position, so that as the position of an employee changes, the previous roles become null and void and new roles can be assigned as per new position.
So would like to know :
as to whether this position number which we see from PA20, is unique to every user on the system ?
    So that, if there is a need to remove a role based on postion, we could remove the role from PO13;
BY doing that, then will it not affect other users ?
Can somebody help me understand this.
Because if i want to see the effect immediately, if i go to PFUD and put the role name and say execute, i see that the role which was removed from PO13 is gone immediately from the user.
    Many thanks

    GOT IT THANKS.
    Hi Prashant.
    Good morning and wishes.
Can you please help me understand this.
I understand from HR person that position is uniquely defined (from hire to retire)
and roles are generally given based on position.
However, I see a person : whose roles have been assigned as per position all these years.
He had 2 roles in project A. He now moved into a different project B.
But. when i check, i still see the roles - reflecting on SU01  & well as in the tab of user of the role X under pfcg.
BUT when i check PO13 - and put the position / relationship and say overview.
I dont see the roles at all there.
Why this is so.  Why the discrepancy on different screens.
Also How can I get a confirmation that - these roles are actually removed and is not there for the user.
    Rather.
How could the removal of roles based on position become completely effective on the system.
So that all screens display the same information.
Also would like to know - whether it is ok to remove the role expiry date directly from PFCG/ROLE Display/user tab/select user/
and then make the role invalid or expired / or extend the expiry.
    Many thanks.

  • SAP R/3 table data display

    Hello All,
In SAP R/3 in tcode SE11 when I display data for table EKBE, for few currencies amount is different in tabular layout and display mode of individual record. Let me expalin it in detail.
In table EKBE when I display data for any particular purchase order then following values are displayed in tabular layout.
    DMBTR 100.05
    WRBTR 100.05
But when I select this record and click on display button(F2 function key)
    DMBTR 100.05
    WRBTR 10005
When I extract this data in BW I get
    DMBTR 100.05
    WRBTR 100.05
Can anybody please help me to understand
    which value is correct ?
why is there a difference in amount in tabular layout and display mode ?
why only WRBTR is different as both are of CURR datatype and created using same Domain.
In ME80FN Amount is displayed as 10005 and user is expecting this in BW output, when I checked in R/3 table I found discrepancy. Your help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks for your help.
    Regards
    Shilpa

    Hi Simon,
    Thanks for your inputs.
Why the amount is changed in display mode only for WRBTR and not for DMBTR as both are of CURR datatype and created using same domain. I fail to understand any logic behind this.
I have even created a ABAP report on this table which displys fields DMBTR and WRBTR, and in the report output following values are displayed.
    DMBTR 100.05
    WRBTR 100.05
If anybody else has come across this before and has any clue please help.
    Thanks and Regards

  • Discrepancy in report execution duration

    Hello,
Everyday we are executing audit reports which tells us report execution time for all our daily scheduled reports. Here we have observed some discrepancy between the time shown in the instance history verses auditing report's data. For example, if XYZ report took 120 seconds to execute, our auditing report shows 110 seconds only (-10 sec difference); however instance status in report history shows 120 sec only.
    Here are environment details:
    Product: SAP BI 4.0 SP6 Patch 6
Server OS: Windows Server 2008 R2
    CMS DB: Oracle 11g R2
    Auditing DB: Oracle 11g R2
We would like to know why there is a difference? Please advise!

Issue resolved after doing multiple activity.
    - Adding 2 new cluster in PRD environment, After refering Server sizing Guide from SAP
    - Adding 4 new Web Intelligence Processing Server in PRD environment
    - Assign Static port in all 4 Nodes, Previously it was Dynamic Ports
    - Proper spiliting of APS as per SAP APS Sliting KBA (1792286 ,1694041)
    - Change Maximum Connection Paremeter in Web Intelligence Processing Server, Because we have more Web Intelligence Business user to view the Web Intelligence reports.By Default SAP provided 50 Connections.

  • SAP Query - Reporting on Simulation infotype 2501

We defined reporting time types for the SAP delivered infotype 2501 to report from the ZL cluster.  However, when we report the data using SAP Query, for a few records, the following is observed:
    (1) Basic list output in Query report splits the record as only 50% (half) of the time is output when compared to the data in the cluster.
    (2) If you also use the same field in a Statistics output, it seems to report the full amount of time as recorded in the cluster.
The discrepancy is noticed only in a very few records reported by SAP Query. We need to be absolutely sure as to why some records are not reported accurately by SAP query basic list output for the simulated infotype.
    I would appreciate your help
    Thanks
    Pascal

    Hi Pascal,
Since the IT2501 is a "Simulated Time Infotype" you cannot look at the data in it, but you can confirm the data from the ZL cluster and the data from the employee.  Since it is only this employee or a few employees, it is probably not the configuration of the time buckets for the IT2501, but you may want to make sure all time times are captured as you want.  Then look at the time entries for this individual or individuals.  Did they enter a time type that was not expected or configured?  Is all their time approved and passed through Time Evaluation?  Finally check the Master Data for the employee - is the Planned Working Time (IT0007) infotype correct or has it been recently changed?  Is he in a special Cost Center (IT0027) or Project that is captured differently for time purposes?
Since it just one or a few individuals, I would suspect the Master Data and some inconsistant entry that affects the time cummulation for the IT2501.

  • SAP Management Console and Services

    Good morning everyone,
I am trying to understand more about the services used by the SAP System, the order in which they are / need to be started.
First I have a precise question regarding what appears to be, to me, as a discrepancy between the SAP Management Console and The Services Console.
At the moment I have a Server with the SAP System stopped. It shows the correct information in the SAP Management Console but when I look at the Services Console the following services show as started:
    SAPOsCol, SAPPRD_00 & SAPPRD_01
    SAPCCMSR.01 & SAPCCMSR.11 are set to manual
Has anyone got an explanation on why different info are displayed in both console?
Also, is there a way of checking if the SAP Services are running without going through any interface (Management Console)?
    Finally,
In the Services Console the SAPOsCol, SAPPRD_00 & SAPPRD_01 services are set to automatic but when we restart the Server the services do not restart automatically even so they show as starter. Can anyone give me direction on what I need to check or change for these to start properly?
    Thank you
    Corinne

    Corinne,
The Services SAPOsCol, SAPPRD_00 & SAPPRD_01 started doesnot mean that SAP is up. So even if you stop SAP through MMC it will show these services as started. These Services denote whether the Instance PRD_00 and PRD_01 are enabled in MMC. So if you stop these services, you wont be able to start SAP through MMC.
SAPCCMSR.01 & SAPCCMSR.11 are set to manual --  These are optional CCMS Agents , so they are set to manual. If you need them you can change them to Automatic
SAPOsCol, SAPPRD_00 & SAPPRD_01 are set to automatic. This should mean that they get strated with the start of OS during a reboot. If they are not getting started there is some issue.
    Hope this helps!
    Reward points if useful!!!
    Cheers!

  • Discrepancy in FS usage information

    Hi,
We have a file system xyz and its usage is shown as 83% at SAP level. But when the same is checked at UNIX its usage is being reflected as 94%. Can any one brief about this discrepancy?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Damanaidu J

    Hello Damanaidu,
what file system are you talking about (and how do you check it with SAP)?
If you talk about the sapdataX ..  the sparse files (temp files for temporary tablespace) could be the reason.

  • Interface and SAP system issue

    hi Experts
Scenario : We have External system (Interface) and SAP system. GR usually done in External system for stock materials PO , then it will transfered and updated in SAP system thro IDOC daily bases.
And then in SAP ,Zreport is there to find out any discrepancy in stocks(Between Extrnl and SAP system).
Problem: They had done GR in external system and they had transferred to SAP throu IDOC. (This usually bieing processed for 1000 of materials.
Now for some materials its showing  discrepancy error in Zreport eventhough the SAP system got updated on stocks throu IDOC from external system. ( Not for all materials only for very few case).
So any experts has come across this kind situation in thier experiance .. how to solve this ??
Note : If any Bacth job is being done in background in SAP after updation the stocks in SAP system throu IDOC. How to find out the batch job in back groud ???
    Thanks

    hii
    Thanks for ur response.
I did't mention in previous message, IDOC got posted in SAP system perfectly without any error . (I have cross checked IDOC).
But after idoc posting in SAP system , the Zreport getting updated , so here is my confusion and doubt.
Where there can be any system in background to update stocks in Zreport from SAP system. Is it possible to find from our side batch job has being processed between standard SAP and Zreport .
There is any way to find ???
