Hi Guys,
I have product number with me , and now i want to see the location attached to it , but in /SAPAPO/MAT1 when i press F4 i am getting list of all , location so tell me how to check what are the locations aplicable to this product.

Go by as suggested by senthil ,
Enter transaction /sapapo/rrp3
enter planning version as 000
enter your *product number * and
press F4 in llocation field it will show you the applicable location.
If you havent find any , it means that your product is maintained globaly but not extended to any specific location

    Please follow below path to add/check custom fields in Product Master(MAT1).
    SPRO -> SAP SCM - Implementation Guide> Advanced Planning and Optimization>Master Data--> Maintain Freely-Definable Attributes
    AT*     --> /SAPAPO/MATLOC  (Extra Attribute section in EXtra Tab in MAT1)
    ATT*     --> /SAPAPO/MATKEY  (Additonal data section in Properties Tab in MAT1)
    ATTL*     --> /SAPAPO/LOC     (Addit.Tab in LOC3)

  • DP cluster filed in transaction /SAPAPO/MAT1- Extras

    Hello Experts,
    Can you please let me know if the field DP cluster is a standard field in the transaction /sapapo/mat1 under Extras tab.

    The fields on the tab "extra" and standard but customised.
    Go to SPRO >
    SCM Basis
    Master Data
    Maintain Freely-Definable Attributes
    You can see some attribute for the product, the location and the prodcut location.
    From here you should see your DP cluster.
    For sure the field is not populated automatically, it is either populated manually or via enhancement. The later is more likely.

  • COM - error Unknown in /sapapo/mat1 transaction

    Hi,
    I am using SCM 4.1 and LiveCache 7.5.0.
    In the transaction /sapapo/mat1 i select a product and its location.
    Then in the Extras Menu when i select Where-Used List, it shows the message "COM - error Unknown"
    COM - error Unknown
    Message no. /SAPAPO/OM001
    Diagnosis
    A COM routine has encountered a program error.
    System response
    The program will be terminated.
    Procedure
    Start the program again.
    If this message appears again, contact your system administration.
    Please help me on this.

    hi - try running the livecache consistency check (/n/sapapo/om17) for product-locations and correct any errors that may be detected and try again to use the where-used functionality.

  • Log changes in /SAPAPO/MAT1 - Product

    Hello,
    anyone knows if there is a modification log for product master data in SCM for changes done in /SAPAPO/MAT1 - Product ?
    We have CIF to create and update product master data from R3 to scm but we have field Forward Consumption Periodo changed and it is ok in R3 so It must have been changed directy in SCM.
    Is there any way to see changes in this system?

    Teresa,
    It is possible - if change document logging is turned on.  In SCM, the system is delivered with the logging turned off.  You must explicitly turn it on in order to be able to review changes.
    Product master changes can be reviewed in transaction /SAPAPO/PROD_CD_READ.  Do not leave product or location blank, use asterisk instead for 'wild card'.
    If nothing is found, then logging is not turned on.  You can confirm by looking at table CDHDR, where the change data is stored.
    To turn change recording 'on', IMG > APO > Master Data > Product > Activate change documents.

    Hi Rock,
    In order for the Product to be relevant for the EWM system you need to maintain only the /SCWM/MAT1 - Maintain Warehouse Product transaction. There you will find the screen tabs that are relevant only for EWM. All the tabs that have the little hat came automatically from the CIF from the ECC system and all those that do not have the hat are the ones strictly relevant for the EWM system so these are the only ones that you need to maintain.
    As I mentioned earlier, the /SAPAPO/MAT1 - Maintain Product transaction is for APO and does not make a product relevant for the EWM Warehouse.

  • Base UoM in /SAPAPO/MAT1

    Hi Folks,
    Is it possible to change the Base Uom in the /SAPAPO/MAT1?
    I have bussines requirements where the ECC (R/3) material has to be changed to diff base Uom (it is not used yet).
    now this chagnes will fo to APO through CIF but the CVC is created in APO and that's the reason it is failing in the CIF.
    my integration model fails and i can not chagne the Uom in /SAPAPO/MAT1.
    Is there anyway i can chagne the base Uom in APO.

    Charlie, I think the easiest way is to delete the material in APO and re-cif.
    /sapapo/mat1. Pull down menu Product > Flag for Deletion > Deletion Flag: Location Product.
    The pop-up will ask delete immediately yes/no, choose yes. Then re-cif from R/3.
    If you have dependent objects, like orders, transportation lanes, ppm/pds then you have to delete those too. From version 5.0 the wuf transaction helps identify these.

  • APO /SAPAPO/MAT1 Authorization with check based on SNP planner

    Hello,
    We want to maintain authorization profile enabling to have a filter on /SAPAPO/MAT1 based on the value of the SNP Planner.
    Standard transaction PFCG does not brings back the SNP Planner as being a checked object when using /SAPAPO/MAT1 in the menu
    So, I used transaction SU24 and changed the setting for /SAPAPO/MAT1 : I added the authorization object C_APO_PLNR SNP Planner with check indicator "Check" and proposal "YS" . The status is now green for this object but I do not have understood if I had also to maintain TSTCA column "status: check at transaction start". In any case, I did not found how to activate it.
    With this setting, I also competed with PFCG the required value for SNP Planner.
    Result: it does not work. Could some one help ?

    Hi Christine
    Please check OSS Note 1464451 (Authorisations in APO Master Data). I dont think you can directly use SNP Planner as a basis for authorization without an enhancement.

  • /SAPAPO/MAT1 customizing

    Hi all,
    Maybe someone can help me tackle this problem, as I'm not very familiar with SAP APO.
    I'm trying to have an authority check on the initial screen of /SAPAPO/MAT1 depending on what "Location" is filled. However, I can't seem to find any user exit or enhancement that could help me do this...
    Has anyone had this sort of problem before and knows how to handle it?

    The thing is that I need to do a Supply Network Planner (SNP) authority check only for some certain locations. I think that if I only use the APO Authorization Object you gave me, it will do it always for all of the locations. However, I would like to do it for 2 specific ones for example; which is why I asked for a user exit or something where I can actually check the location first, and then call the auth. object.

  • Field /SAPAPO/MARM-GEWEI unit missing for product 000000008660000814 PAL

    Hi Experts,
    I found CIF error in SMQ2. The error states "Field /SAPAPO/MARM-GEWEI unit missing for product 000000008660000814 PAL '.
    I checked the data in MM03 , where alternate unit of measure is PAL. One PAL Is 96000 EA.and i found  GRoss Weight and NET Weight is showing Zero.
    I checked the same in /sapapo/mat1 , it is showing 1PAL = 5760 ea.and i found  GRoss Weight(2, 078.440 and NET Weight(1,800.32) .
    How to rectify thsi error. Please let me know.

    Field /SAPAPO/MARM-GEWEI unit missing for product

    Reason and Prerequisites
    The reason of the error is, that the 'Unit of Weight' is missing for the alternative unit of measure(UOM) in the material Master Data.
    Solution
    From R/3 perspective,
    If no gross or net weight is maintained in a unit of measure, it is not nessesary to maintain a unit of weight. However CIF in APO checks the field GEWEI for all entries of table MARM. If the field GEWEI is blank in any of the MARM entries then you will get the error message . The following are ways to correct this error;
    1) Delete the alternative UoM in APO for the product in /sapapo/mat1. Afterwards process the faulty queue and all alternative UOMs will be correctly available in APO and thus, the masterdata is consistent.
    2) Maintain the 'Unit of Weight' that is missing for the alternative units in the material masterdata in R/3. Afterwards retransfer the masterdata to APO.
    3)use the userexit EXIT_SAPLCMAT_001 (where you can change
    MARM and MARMX values) and maintain the missing 'Unit of Weight'so that MARM-GEWEI is filled before transfering the masterdata to APO.

  • Sapapo/sdp94 - GR/GI issue problem

    Dear Experts,
    After doing a deployment run by sapapo/sdp94, it is creating a process goods issue record. Actually it shouldn’t create as per standard. Because in /sapapo/mat1 GI processing time filed is blank. When it has value it should show the process goods issue record.
    Can any one have idea…why it is creating process goods issue in sdp94 when we look product view.
    My observation is that there is one field activity type is setting with "i" what does it mean?

    As per my knowledge without GI issue time in mat01 it shouldn't create the process goods issue in sdp94 when we run the deployment.
    But for me it is creating, I couldn't find why it is happening>

  • APO Product Master: New Freely Defined Attribute

    Dear Experts,
    We know than in the spro, you can defined up to 5 free attributes for the product Location master than appear in the Tab EXTRA.
    We would like to create a new one, I mean, a 6th one. The issue is that, even we are able to create it in the spro, we do not see it in the Product Master and therefore, we are not able to maintain it.
    Does anybody have the same issue? Wich kind of posibilities do we have?

    I concur with the previous reply.
    This is not possible.
    I have used all the 5 additional Fields in the past in DP Macros to store & use values on product-locations that are not available in Standard APO Product screen.  But the Limit is 5 and this can be seen in /sapapo/matkey table and /sapapo/matloc tables as well (via Trnx. SE11).
    However In addition, you can create 'Z' Tables in ABAP.  Alternatively you can save Additional masterdata in your own customer created TimeSeries Planning Area of which the Characteristics will be Product and Location only to save anything additional you need in TS Planning areas.  Alternatively a BI InfoCube can be created with same characteristics. The Userexit can then Grab data from this InfoCube or Z Table to do whatever you want.
    Typically it is common that Demand Planning MACROS use it in their Code Logic.  Remember, none of the additional attributes are used in the Standard Planning Algorithms / Logic of SNP, PPDS, DP or TPVS.  You have to write Custom Logic which is possible via Demand Planning Macros in Planning Books created on that Planning area.
    So the Best Option for Additional Fields is a TimeSeries Planning area which DP Macros can be built to use. Of course the Standard 5 can be in Product Master (/sapapo/mat1) and then additional to whatever number you want can be in the TimeSeries Planning area.

  • Characteristic values not displayed in APO Product

    Hi friends,
    I CIFed Materials with characteristics and class as 300 (variant) to APO-SNP where it gets converted to class 400 (CDP). The material gets CIFed but when I go to the Classification tab of Product master (/SAPAPO/MAT1), and hit Further Classes button, the Characteristics value descriptions appear but with no values assigned to it.
    Have any one experienced this before or anyone could help me on this. Thanks in advance for your help.

    My problem is similar to Sam's. The difference is that when I hit Further Classes button, it appears a messagem saying there are no assignements for class type 300, only for class type 400. Any idea of what is the cause?

    In APO SNP, if you only delete the time series it will not delete the inactive material from it.
    If you go to APO material master i.e. /SAPAPO/MAT1 - Product  you will still find your inactive products. By deleting the time series, you are only deleting the data from time series key figures, but you will still have the data in order series key figures.
    You can require to delete these products by mainly using following steps.
    a) Remove product from integration model
    b) Delete all orders for this product-location which still exist in the APO system by running the reports /SAPAPO/RLCDELETE or /SAPAPO/DELETE_PP_ORDER (this report is not recommanded to be used in product system!!) or transactions /SAPAPO/RRP4 or /SAPAPO/RRP4.
    c) Use transaction /sapapo/ccr to delete all objects in APO that are integrated with R/3. The /sapapo/ccr will show the orders as 'Not in an active integration model' and offers to delete the orders in APO
    d) Delete the product from ATP tables by running the report /SAPAPO/SDORDER_DEL with the selection according to the product being deleted. (Orders from DB & live cache)
    e) Delete all related product substitution and location product substitution using the transaction /SAPAPO/RBA04;
    f) Delete the product from all PPMs through the transaction /SAPAPO/SCC05;
    g) Remove the product from external procurement using the transaction /SAPAPO/PWBSRC2;
    h) Remove the product from transportation lanes through the transaction /SAPAPO/SCC_TL1 or /SAPAPO/SCE; Note: If the lane was created with option 'All products', you should not care about this condition.
    i) Remove the product from quota arrangement through the transaction /SAPAP/SCC_TQ1;
    j) Remove references from the product master or the location product master using the transaction /SAPAPO/MAT1, tab 'Classification';
    k) Remove the planning package from the location product master using the transaction /SAPAPO/MAT1, tab 'PP/DS';
    l) Remove the product from RTO;
    m) Remove the product from product split.
    2. Mark deletion flag
    a) In transaction /SAPAPO/MAT1, select the product (and location in case of location product);
    b) In the menu bar, choose 'Product' and go to 'Mark for deletion' (Shift+F6);
    c) In the popup 'Set deletion Flag' set a flag in the appropriate field: Leave the field 'Product' empty unless you want to delete the product master, i.e. in case a location product must be deleted, the flag has to be set on location only;
    d) The deletion can be executed directly or be scheduled for another time.
    Use Report /SAPAPO/DELETE_PRODUCTS for deletion.
    Once you delete all the products, than you can again open the CIF to bring in the new products.
