SCE pcube-SE-MIB traffic-counters error

Hi,
On both the SCE 1010 and SCE 2020, I am seeing the following error:
#sh snmp MIB pcube-SE-MIB traffic-counters
Error - internal error: was not able to retreive Traffic-Counter information
I am running the following version:
#sh ver
System version: Version 3.6.1 Build 13
Build time: Jul 25 2010, 23:45:29 (Change-list 631208)
Software version is: Version 3.6.1 Build 13
Does anyone know why traffic-counters is returning this error when all of the other pcube-SE-MIB sub-options work?

Hi  Brett,
Did you configure traffic-counter on SCE ?
If there is no configuration of traffic-counter, you can see this error.
Can you try to configure as following ?
SCE2000#>conf
SCE2000(config)#>interface LineCard 0
SCE2000(config if)#>traffic-counter name test count-bytes
SCE2000(config if)#>end
SCE2000#>show snmp MIB pcube-SE-MIB traffic-counters
trafficCounterIndex.1.1 = 1
trafficCounterValue.1.1 = 0
trafficCounterName.1.1  = test
trafficCounterType.1.1  = bytes
Error - internal error: was not able to retreive Traffic-Counter information
SCE2000#>

Keita

  • SCE does not capture traffic snmp get-request

    Hi,
    We have SCE 2000 3.5.5.
I have a problem to capture some snmp traffic.
From a server To a router, our SCE captures traffic snmp "GET-NEXT-REQUEST". I can see these traffic in RDR (Transaction RDR and Subscriber RDR).
but, From the same server To the same router, "GET-REQUEST" doesn't.
I have checked these packets using sniffer software, and the difference of these is only "GET-NEXT-REQUEST" or "GET-REQUEST".
    What could cause this situation??
    Help me!

    Hi, Tom.
I have controlled that the port is 161 and these packets go through the same SCE.
I changed the service configuration as you said, but SCE didn't caputured the packets "snmp-get". I write the way that I have done.
         1.     Open "New Service Configuration"
         2.     Add 161 to "UDP ports for which flow should be opened on first packet"
         3.     "RDR Settings" - "Transaction Usage RDRs" - check "select ALL"
         4.     Apply a SCE device
         5.     command "Snmpget" from a pc
         6.     Control RDRs with tag "4042323000"  --> No record from the pc
         7.     mib-browser from the same pc
         8.     Control RDRs with tag "4042323000"  --> find the record from the pc
I hope i can resolve it soon.

  • Traffic lighting error

    Hi,
I'm using OBIEE 11g to build a dashboard that makes use of traffic light conditional formatting. However, it seems that on a grid on the dashboard, some values are not generating a traffic light image despite the fact they are within the range covered by the traffic light formatting. I have applied the formatting to entire columns, not just to individual cells. Does anyone know of anything common that might be causing this error?
    Thanks.

I have started OC4J_UM (it shows internall error message when i start traffic cop so it loads it).
Traffic cop did not leave messages in Appache because server did its part and i found UM Webmail Client Log and it says :

  • 11g performance counters error on Server 2003

Environment - fresh install of 11g (11.1.0.6.0) on a fresh Server 2003 R2 box. All configuration is largely out-of-the-box.
When I start the "Oracle Counters for Windows Performance Monitor" item from the start menu, I get a dialog box error with the following:
    Unable to add these counters:
    \Oracle11 Sorts(0)\sorts in memory/sec
    \Oracle11 Sorts(0)\sorts on disk/sec
Clicking OK to that error, Performance Monitor does come up but when I try to add a counter, there is no Oracle-related Performance Object to choose, just the standard Windows, ASP, etc. ones.
    Any ideas?

Personally I'd rather use Grid Control on x86-64 Linux.
But, I was asking about the error message I'm getting in hopes that perhaps someone else has seen this to. I wasn't asking what operating system to choose for Oracle, nor what management tool is best, though I do appreciate your feedback. As for why: simple curiousity. I want to poke around to see how 11g metrics are exposed and instrumented within Windows' own management frameworks, since I run into Oracle-on-Windows quite a bit. Pushing buttons in test environments just to see what they do is how we learn the strengths and weaknesses of all these technology products.

ORA-01151: use media recovery to recover block, restore backup if needed....
we are also not able to perform a media recovery since the database is running in No-Archivelog Mode....

  • High 802.11 MAC Counters Errors on WLC

When I log into our WLC I see a very high TX Failed, ACK Failure, RTS Failure and FCS Error Counts. Is this normal? How can I troubleshoot this problem? We have 10 LAPs that are in the same network as the managed and ap manager interfaces on the WLC. Thanks.

Quantify very high please. Truly very high error rates usually are due to multipath issues in your RF network. However, MTU size can also have an effect. If you could, please send over a list of errors from a 10 minute slice of time under normal load. This will assist us in understanding your network. Also, please include client device types and overall network environment on the RF side.

  • No display of error message log in dialog box

    Dear MM Experts,
During enter incoming invoice (MIRO), when we click simulate after entering all necessary data, all error & warning messages are displayed in a dialog box if there is red traffic light. In our case despite red traffic light error messages are not displayed as shown in below screen shot. Only warning messages are displayed & document canu2019t be posted. Please let me know if anyone has encountered such behavior & knows the solution. We just want to see the error messages in dialog boxes so that necessary data can be entered and document can be posted.
Additional information: 1. No GR needs to be done, 2. GR based IV is unchecked in PO, 3. No validation is active for the company code,
    Thanks & regards,
    Avinash

    Hi,
    Thanks for your response.
Our problem is not to post a particular invoice doument, the main problem is that error log is not displayed in MIRO. For example if balance is not zero then this error should be displayed in error log dialog box, which is not happening due to which we are not able to post any invoice document as error is not known to the user. Please let me know if any suggestions.
Additional information: We have deactivated all validations & BADis. We also tried to compare with other systems where error log is displayed properly however our ABAP consultant could not find any difference. Any Input on how to compare is also welcome.
    Thanks & best regards,
    Avinash

  • Error Code: -2147024891 (Access is denied)

    Hi
I've just installed a new SCOM 2007 R2 server and I added some servers to it, but only in all the Windows 2008 servers that have Exchange 2007 SP3 I can not install the SCOM agent, even if I try to manually install the agent, raise this error and
the installation rolls back, this is the screen:
I tried to follow this link to solve the problem:
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/sqlserver/en-US/44192faa-12cc-4bd7-9605-0d9ae1444f37/scom-2007-r2-error-25211-failed-to-install-performance-counters-error-code-2147024891-access?forum=operationsmanagergeneral
But when I try to rebuild the counters with lodctr /r, but I have the response "Error: Unable to rebuild performance counter setting from system backup store, error code is 5", the most rare is that
I used the domain admin user and the local admin user, so I don't know what permission it's necessary to install or rebuild the counters.
No one process is using the counters, so may be the problem could be permissions, but this is not sense to me cause I'm using the highest privileges account in the domain...

    Hi Alexis
Thanks for the tip, but did not work, the run as administrator was done before, and the error 5 still is raising...  :(

    Please help.

Thanks for the link to the Reporting Services forum.  I found the fix in this thread:
    https://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=3644545&SiteID=1
I had to create a registry key and reboot:
    1.
Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
    2.
Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control
    3.
In the right pane, locate the ServicesPipeTimeout entry.
Note If the ServicesPipeTimeout entry does not exist, you must create it. To do this, follow these steps:
    a.
On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
    b.
Type ServicesPipeTimeout, and then press ENTER.
    4.
Right-click ServicesPipeTimeout, and then click Modify.
    5.
Click Decimal, type 60000, and then click OK.
This value represents the time in milliseconds before a service times out.
    6.
    Restart the computer.
After the reboot, the service was running.  Thanks for your help with this.

  • Output Error Counts

Hello, I'm seeing the same number of output errors across multiple ports on one of our Nexus pairs. Each port has the same vlan in common and I'm wondering if there is any way to narrow down exactly where these errors are starting. From what I've read it's most likely a bad packet since many if not all of the 'show interface counters errors' are zeroed out. Would a sniffer be needed? If so what exactly would I be searching for?  Many thanks!

    Hi gbzheng,
I think I need a little clarification for your request to better answer your question. Are you trying to count both rising and falling edges in a specific time period, or are you just trying to count the falling edges (errors) in a specific time period?
    DAQmx Shipping Examples
If you need deterministic timing using an external clock, I would recommend using the Counter – Count Edges (Continuous Clock) example.
If you do not need the deterministic timing, you could just use the software timed Counter – Count Edges example.
For either example you will need to create a constant (or control) for the edge input on the DAQmx Create Virtual Channel.vi. You will need to specify Falling as the edge type because rising is the default value.

For the "too large frames", I have already read the post : https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/11034901/too-large-frames-what-does-mean-performance, so, I think it's not serious.
But I don't know why some packets are dropped because the configuration seems good ...
Can you help me please ?
    Thank you in advance !

This is nothing.  You get this counters if the port(s) is/are configured as Dot1Q Trunking.
There is nothing to be worried about.
